Abstract
A diverse set of 4,7-dihydro-[1,2,3]thiadiazolo[5,4-b]pyridine-6-carboxamides 4(a-o) was synthesized via a one-pot reaction of 5-amino-[1,2,3]thiadiazole, various aromatic aldehydes, and different acetoacetanilides, using glacial acetic acid. The resulting compounds were obtained in moderate to good yields. All the newly synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antimicrobial activity. Among them, compound 4 e demonstrated superior efficacy against the Salinivibrio proteolyticus strain of Gram-negative bacteria compared to ciprofloxacin. Compound 4 d exhibited the highest potency against the fungal strain Candida albicans, surpassing amphotericin B. The physicochemical characteristics of 4 d and 4 e were assessed. According to docking analysis, DHTDAPy 4 e shows a higher binding affinity of -7.2 kcal/mol in the binding cavity of the receptor. These findings illustrate the safety, tolerability, and potency of the newly synthesized DHTDAPy compounds against fungal and bacterial infections.

Abstract
An iodine-mediated cyclization has been developed to 4-aryl-NH-1,2,3-triazoles, with p-toluenesulfonyl hydrazide and sulfamic acid used as nitrogen sources. Sulfamic acid plays a crucial role in this reaction by both acting as a substrate and providing an acidic environment. This reaction offers a metal- and azide-free strategy to access NH-1,2,3-triazoles.

Abstract
Developing efficient and straightforward strategies to rapidly construct structurally distinct and diverse organic molecules is one of the most fundamental tasks in organic synthesis, drug discovery and materials science. In recent years, divergent synthesis of organic functional molecules from the same starting materials has attracted significant attention and has been recognized as an efficient and powerful strategy. To achieve this objective, the proper adjustment of reaction conditions, such as catalysts, solvents, ligands, etc., is required. In this review, we summarized the recent efforts in chemo-, regio- and stereodivergent reactions involving acyclic and cyclic systems catalyzed by palladium complexes. Meanwhile, the reaction types, including carbonylative reactions, coupling reactions and cycloaddition reactions, as well as the probable mechanism have also been highlighted in detail.

Abstract
N-heterospirocycles are interesting structural units found in both natural products and medicinal compounds but have relatively few reliable methods for their synthesis. Here, we enlist the photocatalytic generation of N-centered radicals to construct β-spirocyclic pyrrolidines from N-allylsulfonamides and alkenes. A variety of β-spirocyclic pyrrolidines have been constructed, including drug derivatives, in moderate to very good yields. Further derivatization of the products has also been demonstrated as has a viable scale-up procedure, making use of flow chemistry techniques.

Abstract
COVID-19 is a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus and represents one of the greatest health problems that humanity faces at the moment. Therefore, efforts have been made with the objective of seeking therapies that could be effective in combating this problematic. In the search for ligands, computational chemistry plays an essential role, since it allows the screening of thousands of molecules on a given target, in order to save time and money for the in vitro or in vivo pharmacological stage. In this paper, we perform a virtual screening by docking looking for potential inhibitors of the NSP16-NSP10 protein dimer (methyltransferase) from SARS-CoV-2, by evaluating a homemade databank of molecules found in plants of the Caatinga Brazilian biome, compounds from ZINC online molecular database, as well as structural analogues of the enzymatic cofactor s-adenosylmethionine (SAM) and a known inhibitor in the literature, sinefungin (SFG), provided at PubChem database. All the evaluated sets presented molecules that deserve attention, highlighting four compounds from ZINC as the most promising ligands. These results contribute to the discovery of new molecular hits, in the search of potential agents against SARS-CoV-2 virus, still unveiling a pathway that can be used in combined therapies.

Abstract
Direct aziridination of a nitrostyrene is achieved upon treatment with an alkylamine and N-chlorosuccinimide. The reaction is initiated by the Michael addition of amine to nitroalkene. Subsequent N-chlorination and nucleophilic substitution at the nitrogen atom afford 1-alkyl-2-nitroaziridine diastereoselectively. This reaction mechanism was clarified by NMR studies.
