Abstract
Herein, we report an example of a stereoselective γ-addition reaction of trifluoromethyl ketimines to 1-alkynyl ketones mediated by an isothiourea, BTM, under mild conditions, which afforded tetrasubstituted allenes with central chiralities in high yields (up to 94% yield), good enantioselectivities (up to 91% ee), and excellent diastereoselectivities (all >20 : 1 dr). In addition, the BTM-catalyzed γ-addition reaction was successfully applied to the gram-scale reaction, and an unexpected benzopyrrolothiazine derivative was successfully converted, albeit racemic.

Abstract
An organocatalytic enantio- and diastereoselective synthesis of hexahydropyrrolo[2,3-b]indole-containing tetrasubstituted α-amino allenoates, exhibiting both axial and central chirality, has been accomplished via cascade dearomatization-cyclization reaction. The γ-addition to β,γ-alkynyl-α-imino esters provides a library of densely substituted highly enantioenriched allenes in high yields and excellent stereoselectivities. In addition, the scope of this methodology has been extended to tryptophol as well. A scale-up reaction and synthetic transformations of the products were performed to demonstrate the practical usefulness of this approach.

Abstract
We report a Cu(I)-Ph-BPE-catalyzed asymmetric vinylogous Mannich reaction of β,γ-alkynyl-α-ketimino esters with β,γ-unsaturated N-acylpyrazoles. In this process, the Cu(I)-Ph-BPE catalyst activates the β,γ-alkynyl-α-ketimino ester through N,O-coordination, enabling the subsequent nucleophilic addition of a dienolate generated from the β,γ-unsaturated N-acylpyrazole via α-position deprotonation with a catalytic amount of tertiary amine. The reactions gave useful products with very high enantioselectivities. A broad range of substrates with various substituents are tolerated in this reaction. The versatility of this method was demonstrated by a gram-scale reaction, and subsequent elaboration of the Mannich adducts was also provided.

Abstract
We herein report regio- and enantioselective arylation of β,γ-alkynyl-α-imino esters with pyrroloisoquinolines. Using chiral phosphoric acid catalysts, a wide range of novel axially chiral tetrasubstituted α-amino allenoates were accessed in good yields with excellent enantioselectivities. Notably, this transformation occurred preferentially at the sterically more hindered C1-position of pyrroloisoquinolines. The potential scalability and late-stage functionalization demonstrated the utility of the current protocol.

Abstract
A DABCO-catalyzed allylic alkylation of tertiary propargylic alcohol-derived MBH carbonates with nitromethane was developed. A series of substituted 1,4-enynes with an all-carbon quaternary stereocenter were efficiently obtained in moderate to high yields. The synthetic utility of the product was demonstrated by facile synthesis of 1,4-enyne-embedded 2-pyrrolidinones.

Abstract
An important objective in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry is the capacity to access structurally varied and complex molecules rapidly and affordably from easily available starting materials. Herein, a protocol for the structurally divergent synthesis of benzofuran fused azocine derivatives and spiro-cyclopentanone benzofurans has been developed via chiral bifunctional urea catalyzed reaction between aurone-derived α,β-unsaturated imine and ynone followed by switchable divergent annulation reactions by Lewis base catalysts (DBU and PPh3) with concomitant epimerization. The skeletally diversified products were formed in high yields with high diastereo- and enantioselectivities. Computational analysis with DFT and accurate DLPNO-CCSD(T) has been employed to gain deeper insights into mechanistic intricacies and investigate the role of chiral and Lewis base catalysts in skeletal diversity.

Abstract
A novel [3 + 2] cascade reaction of aryl acetate with 1,4-dihydroxy-2-naphthoic acid ester by cooperative catalysis of isothiourea and vanadium is developed. The key step of the reaction is that the C1-ammonium enolates generated from aryl acetate will cycloadduct to 1,4-naphthoquinone intermediates. 3-Aryl-3H-benzofuranone derivatives can be prepared in medium to good yields under mild conditions.
