Abstract
The TfOH-catalyzed dearomative [5 + 1] annulations were developed for the construction of chromane-fused spiroisoxazolines from readily available 5-amino-isoxazoles and O-alkyl ortho-oxybenzaldehydes. The "two-birds-with-one-stone" strategy featuring dearomatization of 5-amino-isoxazoles and α-C(sp3)-H bond functionalization of oxygen was disclosed via a cascade condensation/[1,5]-hydride transfer/dearomative spirocyclization process. In addition, the unprecedented direct dearomative spirocyclization of isoxazoles was achieved, which introduced a new family member of dearomative spirocyclization for dearomatization chemistry.

Abstract
Hydride abstraction represents a promising yet underexplored approach in the functionalization of C-H bonds. In this work, we report the oxidation of α-C-H bonds of ethers via oxoammonium catalysis using 3-chloroperbenzoic acid (mCPBA) as the terminal chemical oxidant or by means of electrochemistry. Mechanistic studies revealed intricate equilibria and interconversion events between various catalytic intermediates in the presence of mCPBA, which alone however was incompetent to drive catalytic turnover. The addition of a small amount of strong acid HNTf2 or weakly coordinating salt NaSbF6 turned on catalytic turnover and promoted ether oxidation with excellent efficiency. NMR experiments leveraging paramagnetic relaxation enhancement effect allowed for quantification of open-shell catalytic intermediates in real time during the reaction course, which aided the identification of catalyst resting states and elucidation of reaction mechanisms.

Abstract
An unprecedented eco-friendly multi-component domino reaction for the synthesis of novel N,O-acetals is reported. The protocol involves sequential coupling, [1,5]-hydride transfer and hetero-Diels-Alder cyclization. This new strategy enables direct α,β-difunctionalization of cyclic amines utilizing enamines generated in situ. The methodology features high atom and step economy, excellent regioselectivity, a simple work-up procedure and molecular diversity.

Abstract
An efficient palladium-catalyzed [2 + 2 + 1] annulation of 3-iodochromones, bridged olefins, and iodomethane is described, affording a range of chromone-containing polycyclic compounds. Additionally, the corresponding deuterated products were smoothly obtained with iodomethane-d3 instead of iodomethane. Moreover, the synthetic utility of this method is further substantiated by gram scale preparation and application to late-stage modification of estrone.

Abstract
The Brønsted acid-controlled switchable synthesis of indoline-fused tetrahydroquinolines and indole-fused benzazepines was developed through hydride transfer-enabled formal [5 + 1] and [5 + 2] cyclization reactions from indoles and N-alkyl o-aminobenzoketones. Indoline, furanone, and tetrahydroquinoline hybridized pentacyclic products were unprecedentedly accessed via a cascade condensation/hydride transfer/dearomatization-cyclization/deethylation/nucleophilic addition process. In addition, the undeveloped hydride transfer-involved [5 + 2] cyclizations were also realized for direct construction of indole-fused benzazepines.

Abstract
Herein, a highly efficient, scalable, and cascade [1,5] hydride transfer/cyclization method for constructing unique spirocyclic pyrazolone-pyrrolo[4,3,2-de]quinoline structures via C(sp3)-H functionalization is achieved, using pyrazolones and oxindoles attached to C4 amines. This strategy represents a limited approach utilizing C-H activation to construct spirocyclic pyrazolone scaffolds with moderate to excellent reaction performance.
