Abstract
Cutaneous sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of rare mesenchymal neoplasms representing less than 1% of malignant tumors. Histology report remains the cornerstone for the diagnosis of these tumors. The most important clinicopathologic parameters related to prognosis include larger tumor size, high mitotic index, head and neck location, p53 mutations, depth of infiltration and histological grade, vascular and perineural invasion as well as the surgical margins status. Applying advanced biopsy techniques might offer more precise assessment of surgical margins, which constitutes a significant precondition for the management of these tumors. The management of cutaneous soft tissue sarcomas requires a multidisciplinary approach. Surgery remains the standard treatment, nonetheless adjuvant therapy may be required, consisting of radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and molecular targeted therapies to improve treatment outcomes. The role of molecular profiling in the treatment of uncontrolled disease is promising, but it may be offered to a relatively small proportion of patients and its use is still considered experimental in this setting. Due to the rarity of the disease, there is a need for knowledge and experience to be shared, pooled, organized and rationalized so that recent developments in medical science can have a major impact on the disease course. Multicenter clinical trials are needed to improve the care of patients with cutaneous sarcomas.

Abstract
Simple Summary Sarcomas are a rare group of heterogenous tumors that can develop anywhere in the body. Currently, studies on health-related quality of life (HRQoL) focus on sarcomas of the arm and leg or have too small sample sizes to examine the heterogeneity between different sarcoma locations, leading to limited insight into HRQoL of survivors with specific sarcoma locations. The aim of this study was to assess differences in HRQoL and examine treatment-specific HRQoL issues per sarcoma location. We found, in a population of 1099 sarcoma survivors, different patterns of HRQoL according to primary sarcoma location and a high number of additional, unique treatment-specific HRQoL issues per location, which were not captured with the general HRQoL questionnaire used in cancer patients. This indicates that the currently used HRQoL measures are too generic to capture all sarcoma-related issues, emphasizing the necessity for a comprehensive sarcoma-specific HRQoL measurement strategy. Abstract Sarcoma patients experience physical and psychological symptoms, depending on age of onset, subtype, treatment, stage, and location of the sarcoma, which can adversely affect patients’ health-related quality of life (HRQoL). This study aimed to unravel the heterogeneity of sarcoma survivors’ HRQoL regarding primary sarcoma location. A cross-sectional study was conducted among Dutch sarcoma survivors (N = 1099) aged ≥18, diagnosed 2–10 years ago. Primary sarcoma locations were head and neck, chest, abdominal including retroperitoneal, pelvis including urogenital organs, axial skeleton, extremities (upper and lower), breast, skin and other locations. The European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer—Quality of Life Questionnaire (EORTC QLQ)-C30 was used to measure HRQoL accompanied by treatment-specific HRQoL questions. Sociodemographic and clinical characteristics were collected from the Netherlands Cancer Registry. Axial skeleton sarcomas had the lowest functioning levels and highest symptoms compared to other locations. Skin sarcomas had the highest functioning levels and lowest symptoms on most scales. Bone sarcomas scored worse on several HRQoL domains compared to soft tissue sarcomas. High prevalence of treatment-specific HRQoL issues were found per location. In conclusion, sarcomas can present everywhere, which is reflected by different HRQoL outcomes according to primary sarcoma location. The currently used HRQoL measure lacks treatment-specific questions and is too generic to capture all sarcoma-related issues, emphasizing the necessity for a comprehensive sarcoma-specific HRQoL measurement strategy.

Abstract
Angiosarcomas are rare but aggressive tumors with poor prognosis. The treatment of angiosarcomas with vascular endothelial growth factor receptor inhibitors is still in the stage of clinical exploration. Herein we reported a patient of skin angiosarcoma with multiple organ metastasis. She was resistance to multiline chemotherapy and pazopanib but achieved remarkable shrinkage of the lesion after apatinib treatment combined with chemotherapy or alone. The progression-free survival of the primary lesion with KRAS V14I and RBM10 E119D mutations (10 months) was shorter than that of the brain without the mutation ( ≥ 12 months). Although it is not clear whether the KRAS V14I and RBM10 E119D mutations are the main factors that impact the effect of apatinib treatment or not, the results of this study will provide valuable clues for relevant follow-up basic and clinical studies.

Abstract
Sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of mesenchymal tumors which can affect bone and soft tissue. Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is a rare subtype localized to the skin or subcutaneous tissue. Due to the heterogeneity of sarcomas, reviews and guidelines with an in-depth focus specifically on primary LMS of the skin are sparse. This article is intended to provide an up to date and systematic overview on diagnosis, treatment, and surveillance of this rare entity to provide a framework for decision making and management for dermato-oncologists. We discuss novel treatment options for advanced disease such as targeted therapy with kinase inhibitors and immune checkpoint blockade which may improve the prognosis even in advanced stages of LMS.

Abstract
Cutaneous sarcomas comprise a heterogeneous group of mesenchymal spindle cell tumors of the dermis and subcutis, one of the best-known entities being dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans. Other sarcomas addressed in this review include a typical fibroxanthoma, cutaneous undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, liposarcoma, and angiosarcoma. With the exception of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, which has its peak incidence in middle-aged adults, cutaneous sarcomas usually occur in elderly individuals starting in the sixth or seventh decade of life. The pathogenesis of the various disease entities is not uniform and has not been definitively ascertained. Histology is the key to arriving at a correct diagnosis, and should always include ruling out other dermal neoplasms such as melanoma. In recent years, molecular genetic methods have provided greater insight into the pathogenesis, thus paving the way for new targeted therapies. Treatment of choice for cutaneous sarcomas is excision with sufficient surgical margins. Adjuvant and neoadjuvant therapeutic concepts include radiation therapy and the use of targeted therapies or chemotherapies. Local recurrences have frequently been reported in cutaneous sarcomas. Unlike soft tissue sarcomas, the prognosis in terms of survival - with the exception of angiosarcoma - is very good if treated adequately, a fact that should be emphasized to patients.

Abstract
Purpose Programmed death-1 (PD-1) or programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1) targeted therapies have shown promising survival outcomes in several human neoplasms. However, it is unclear whether the expression of PD-L1 can be correlated to any clinical and pathologic variables in patients with cutaneous angiosarcoma (CA). The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinicopathological significance of PD-L1 expression in CA patients. Materials and Methods Data from 52 patients with CA were retrospectively reviewed. PD-L1 expression, tumor proliferation determined by Ki-67 index, and immunohistochemical evaluation of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, CD4+ and CD8+, were used to determine correlation with clinicopathological variables. Results PD-L1 was positively expressed in 40% of all patients. PD-L1 expression was significantly associated with tumor cell proliferation. Multivariate analysis confirmed that high levels of CD8+ tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes were a significant predictor in patients with clinical stage I CA and the positive expression of PD-L1 was an independent prognostic factor in predicting worse outcome. Conclusion PD-L1 expression is a novel pathologic marker for predicting worse outcome in patients with CA.
