Abstract
Urothelial carcinoma typically metastasizes via a lymphatic route to sites such as lymph nodes, bone, and liver. As in other malignancies, metastasis to skeletal muscle is rare. We present a case of a 66-year-old male with severe muscular pain after diagnosis of upper tract urothelial carcinoma, who was found to have extensive metastasis to skeletal muscles including gluteal, sternocleidomastoid, deltoid, vastus lateralis, and gastrocnemius muscles. Literature review demonstrated 18 previously reported cases of urothelial cell carcinoma with skeletal muscle metastasis, all male and all with bladder involvement. This case emphasizes the importance of thoroughly evaluating all muscular pain in patients with a history of malignancy as it may represent skeletal muscle metastasis with an associated increase in morbidity and mortality.

Abstract
Bladder cancer is a common genitourinary tract malignancy. Urothelial carcinoma is the most frequent type of bladder cancer and it commonly metastasises to lymph nodes, bone, lung and liver by a haematogenous route. Skeletal metastases are very rare and are usually present in patients with advanced metastatic disease. We present an unusual case of a 71-year-old male with a urothelial carcinoma metastasis to the vastus lateralis muscle 3 months following a cystoprostatectomy for muscle invasive bladder cancer.

Abstract
Urothelial cell carcinoma (UCC) metastases to skeletal muscle are extremely rare and usually found in patients with advanced stage cancer. The most common sites of bladder cancer metastases are lymph nodes, lung, liver, and bones. Muscle is an unusual site of metastases from a distant primary cancer, due to several protective factors. We present a rare case of 76-year-old patient with metastases in the flexor digitorum superficialis (FDS) and flexor digitorum profundus (FDP) muscles, 2 years after a radical cystectomy for invasive UCC of the bladder. This case is the first description of a forearm lesion, with an extensive infiltration of the volar compartments of the forearm, and the first one with a clear functional impairment.

Abstract
The most frequent metastatic sites of the urothelial bladder cancers (UBCs) are bones, lungs, lymph nodes, liver, pleura, and brain. In the literature, skeletal muscle metastases from UBC have been rarely reported. We report a case of a 65-year-old male with metastatic myositis ossificans to obturator muscle 14 months after radical cystectomy performed for a muscle invasive transitional cell carcinoma. An abdomen computed tomography scan showed a lesion of about 8 cm in diameter in the left obturator muscle with myositis ossificans aspect. Ultrasound guided biopsy specimen of the left obturator muscle revealed poorly differentiated metastatic urothelial carcinoma with malignant myositis ossificans aspects. The patient refused additional surgery and received systemic chemotherapy and radiotherapy at the site of the lesion. The patient more than 6 months after treatment has a good performance status with a partial reduction of the mass and negative imaging for metastases in the follow-up.

Abstract
Bladder cancer constitutes the ninth most common cancer worldwide and approximately only 30% of cases are muscle invasive at initial diagnosis. Regional lymph nodes, bones, lung, and liver are the most common metastases from bladder cancer and generally from genitourinary malignancies. Muscles constitute a rare site of metastases from distant primary lesions even though they represent 50% of total body mass and receive a large blood flow. Skeletal muscles from urothelial carcinoma are very rare and up to date only few cases have been reported in the literature. We present a rare case of 51-year-old patient with metastases to sartorius muscle 8 months after the radical cystectomy performed for a muscle invasive bladder cancer.

Abstract
Bladder cancer most commonly spreads to the lymph nodes, lungs, bones and adrenal glands. Metastasis of bladder cancer to the skeletal muscle is extremely rare, as is the case in other malignancies. We report a case of a 62-year-old male patient who presented with pain and swelling in the right lower extremity and had difficulty walking, and who was later found to have metastasis in the adductor longus muscle 3 months after the initial diagnosis of transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder. The study also provides a review of the current literature.

Abstract
Hematogenous metastasis to skeletal muscle from urothelial carcinoma is extremely rare and metastatic disease to skeletal muscle tends to be found in people with advanced-stage neoplasm. We report in this paper a case of left sartorius muscle metastasis from urothelial cell carcinoma. A left nephroureterectomy with bladder cuff excision was performed and revealed a high-grade papillary transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) of the pelvis. And 6 month later, recurrent bladder cancer was found regular cystoscopy and then treated with transurethral resection of the bladder. After 6 times resection of bladder, an invasion into the bladder muscle layer was found. We recommended additional radical cystectomy to prevent the disease from advancing. However, the patient refused additional surgery. 6 month later, the patient complained of left thigh pain, so ultrasonography-guided biopsy of the nodular mass lesion in the left sartorius muscle was performed. The pathological analysis of the biopsy specimen revealed poorly differentiated metastatic urothelial carcinoma.
