Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Despite the increasing use of cannabis by older Canadians, little is known about cannabis safety in this population, particularly in non-clinical settings. The purpose of this study was to describe the self-reported adverse effects experienced by community-dwelling older Canadians who use cannabis. METHODS Canadians aged 50 years and older completed an online survey regarding their knowledge, perceptions, and experiences with cannabis. Respondents who reported current cannabis use were asked to report any adverse effects experienced in the past year related to their cannabis use. Adverse effects were categorized, and multivariate logistic regressions were performed to assess predictors of adverse effects. RESULTS A total of 1615 older adults completed the survey, of whom 503 reported current use of cannabis and were included in this analysis. Adverse effects were reported by 308 participants (61.2%) and included dry mouth (36.2%), feeling high (25.9%), and adverse effects impacting balance (22.1%) and mental alertness (20.3%). Compared with participants aged 50-60 years, those aged 70 years and older had lower odds of reporting any adverse effects (odds ratio (OR) 0.524, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.303-0.906) or adverse effects impacting mental alertness (OR 0.318, 95% CI 0.172-0.588). Female participants had higher odds of reporting any adverse effect (OR 1.989, 95% CI 1.332-2971) or adverse effects impacting balance (OR 1.930, 95% CI 1.198-3.109). CONCLUSIONS Adverse effects to cannabis are common amongst community-dwelling older adults. Increased education and guidance regarding adverse effects of cannabis, including the composition and dose of cannabis products, may help increase safe use by this population.

Abstract
Background: Sex differences in the response to the anxiety-related effects of cannabinoid drugs have been reported, with females being more sensitive than males. Evidence suggests that, according to sex and estrous cycle phase (ECP), the content of the endocannabinoids (eCBs) N-arachidonoylethanolamine (AEA) and 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG) varies in brain areas involved in the anxiety-like behavior. Methods: Considering the lack of studies evaluating sex and ECP differences in the eCB system in anxiety, using URB597, a fatty acid amide hydrolase inhibitor, or MJN110, a monoacylglycerol lipase inhibitor, we explored the effects of increasing AEA or 2-AG levels, respectively, in cycling and ovariectomized (OVX) female adult Wistar rats, as well as males, subjected to the elevated plus maze. Results: The administration of URB597 (0.1 or 0.3mg/kg; intraperitoneally) either increased or reduced the percentage of open arms time (%OAT) and open arms entries (%OAE), being anxiolytic in diestrus and anxiogenic in estrus. No effects were observed in proestrus or when all ECPs were analyzed together. Both doses produced anxiolytic-like effects in males. In OVX females, the anxiolytic-like effect of URB597 0.1 was associated with low levels of estradiol, whereas the anxiogenic-like effect of URB597 0.3 was spared by estradiol pretreatment. The systemic administration of MJN110 3.0 mg/kg reduced the risk assessment behavior (RAB), suggesting an anxiolytic-like effect independent of the ECP. When considering the ECP, MJN110 3.0 increased the %OAT and reduced the RAB, being anxiolytic in estrus and diestrus. No effects were observed in proestrus. Both doses of MJN110 were anxiogenic in males. In OVX females, the anxiolytic-like effect of MJN110 was dependent on low estradiol levels. Conclusion: Together, our findings support the evidence that females react differently to the effects of cannabinoids in the anxiety-like behavior; in addition, AEA and 2-AG modulation elicits anxiety-like responses that are closely influenced by hormone levels, mainly estradiol.

Abstract
Clinical studies demonstrate that the risk of developing neurological disorders is increased by overconsumption of the commonly used drugs, alcohol, nicotine and cannabis. These drug-induced neurological disorders, which include substance use disorder (SUD) and its co-occurring emotional conditions such as anxiety and depression, are observed not only in adults but also with drug use during adolescence and after prenatal exposure to these drugs, and they are accompanied by long-lasting disturbances in brain development. This report provides overviews of clinical and preclinical studies, which confirm these adverse effects in adolescents and the offspring prenatally exposed to the drugs and include a more in-depth description of specific neuronal systems, their neurocircuitry and molecular mechanisms, affected by drug exposure and of specific techniques used to determine if these effects in the brain are causally related to the behavioral disturbances. With analysis of further studies, this review then addresses four specific questions that are important for fully understanding the impact that drug use in young individuals can have on future pregnancies and their offspring. Evidence demonstrates that the adverse effects on their brain and behavior can occur: (1) at low doses with short periods of drug exposure during pregnancy; (2) after pre-conception drug use by both females and males; (3) in subsequent generations following the initial drug exposure; and (4) in a sex-dependent manner, with drug use producing a greater risk in females than males of developing SUDs with emotional conditions and female offspring after prenatal drug exposure responding more adversely than male offspring. With the recent rise in drug use by adolescents and pregnant women that has occurred in association with the legalization of cannabis and increased availability of vaping tools, these conclusions from the clinical and preclinical literature are particularly alarming and underscore the urgent need to educate young women and men about the possible harmful effects of early drug use and to seek novel therapeutic strategies that might help to limit drug use in young individuals.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Cannabis use is increasing among older adults, with use primarily for medicinal purposes. Much of the evidence on perceptions of cannabis is derived from younger populations and current users of cannabis. The purpose of this study was to describe community-dwelling older Canadians' perceptions of cannabis effectiveness, safety and accessibility for medicinal purposes and to identify factors influencing cannabis perceptions. METHODS An online survey of older adults' perceptions, knowledge and experiences with cannabis was completed between February and September 2022. The survey was open to English-speaking and French-speaking Canadians aged 50 years and older regardless of their cannabis use history. RESULTS A total of 1615 Canadians completed the survey. Respondents identified primarily as men (49.7%) or women (48.5%) of Caucasian decent. The majority of participants viewed cannabis as a reasonable alternative (65.8%) and an effective (70.5%) treatment modality for symptom management in older adults. Few respondents (16.4%) felt that older adults compared to younger adults were at a higher risk of side effects and 34.5% felt that cannabis is safe to use with most medicines. Cannabis perceptions were influenced by gender, cannabis use history (prior use vs current use) and reasons for cannabis use (recreational purposes vs medicinal purposes vs both purposes). CONCLUSIONS Older Canadians have a positive view of the role of cannabis in symptom management. The perceptions of cannabis safety and effectiveness were influenced by gender, cannabis use history and reasons for cannabis use. Healthcare professionals should leverage these perceptions when discussing cannabis with their older patient populations.

Abstract
Driving under the influence of cannabis (DUIC) is a major cause of preventable death and a growing public health concern. News media coverage of DUIC may influence public perceptions of causal factors for DUIC, risks of DUIC, and potential policy solutions. This study examines Israeli news media coverage of DUIC, and contrasts media coverage according to whether news items refer to cannabis use for medical vs. non-medical purposes. We conducted a quantitative content analysis of news articles related to driving accidents and cannabis use (N = 299) from eleven of the highest circulation newspapers in Israel between 2008 and 2020. We apply attribution theory to analyze media coverage of accidents that were linked to medical cannabis, use compared with non-medical use. News items describing DUIC in the context of non-medical (vs. medical) cannabis use were more likely to: (a) emphasize individual causes (vs. social and political); (b) describe drivers in negative terms (vs. neutral or positive); (c) refer to an increased accident risk due to cannabis use (vs. inconclusive or low risk); and (d) call for increased enforcement rather than education. Results show that Israeli news media coverage of cannabis-impaired driving varied significantly depending on whether it referred to cannabis use for medical purposes, or non-medical purposes. News media coverage may influence public perceptions of the risks of DUIC, the factors that are associated with this issue, and potential policy solutions that may reduce the prevalence of DUIC in Israel.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Published data on the safety of natural medical cannabis (MC) when used in the real-world clinical practice setting are lacking. This study aimed to describe adverse events (AEs) reported across three years following MC initiation. METHODS The Quebec Cannabis Registry (QCR) was a prospective registry of adults enrolled through participating physicians when they initiated MC between May 2015 and October 2018. Follow-up ended at MC discontinuation, loss to follow-up, three years, or end of data collection (May 2019). Data were collected at baseline and at follow-up visits every three months for the first two years, then once in the third year. Physicians filled adverse event (AE) reports, which were coded using MedDRA® preferred terms (PTs), and descriptive analyses were conducted. RESULTS A total of 2991 patients were enrolled (mean age 50.9 years, 50.2% females). During follow-up, 108 patients (3.6%) experienced moderate or severe AEs, yielding 111 AE reports (three patients had two reports) and 214 AEs (average 1.9 AEs per report). Mild AEs were recorded as a reason for MC discontinuation for nine patients, but no AE reports were available. The most common PTs for ingested MC (62 reports) were dizziness (12.9%), nausea (11.3%), somnolence (9.7%), and vomiting (8.1%), and for inhaled MC (23 reports), headache (13.0%) was the most common. The most frequent PTs associated with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)-dominant MC (25 reports) were dizziness and somnolence (12.0% each); for cannabidiol (CBD)-dominant MC (20 reports), vomiting (20.0%) was most common; and dizziness (17.2%), nausea (13.8%), somnolence (10.3%), and headache (8.6%) were the most frequent for balanced MC (58 reports). CONCLUSION No new safety concerns were identified relative to the published literature, although notable differences in AE profile between modes of administration and cannabinoid content ratios should be considered by health professionals. Further work identifying and managing risk factors for AEs is warranted to maintain a favorable benefit-risk balance for MC.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Clinical studies on medical cannabis (MC) treatment have shown sex-related differences, including higher susceptibility to adverse events among women and greater analgesia among men. Here, we used the Syqe metered-dose inhaler (MDI) and a single chemovar to analyze sex differences. METHODS A total of 1249 Israeli chronic pain patients were assessed for pain intensity, sleep and adverse events (AEs) over 240 days. RESULTS Following the first two weeks, no significant sex differences were found in the effectiveness or safety of MC treatment (p > 0.05). Inhaled Δ9-THC doses did not vary significantly between sexes (p > 0.05) except in the first month of treatment. Pain reduction and sleep improvement were similar for both sexes (p > 0.05). The overall rate of AEs was equal and relatively low at 10% (n = 65, 10% of women and n = 60, 10% of men; χ2 (1) = 0.05, p = 0.820). A secondary analysis of pharmacokinetic data showed no significant differences between sexes in Δ9-THC and its metabolite pharmacokinetics, cardiovascular measures, or AE severity (p > 0.05). CONCLUSIONS Uniform MC treatment via the Syqe MDI showed no sex differences in short-term effectiveness, safety and pharmacokinetics, nor in long-term effects, under "real-life" conditions. These findings provide insights into MC treatment which may inform clinical practice and policy-making in the field.

Abstract
The proportion of older adults using medical cannabis is rising. Therefore, we aimed to assess the effects of herbal medical cannabis on the functional status of older adults. We conducted a prospective observational study of patients aged 65 years or older that initiated cannabis treatment for different indications, mostly chronic non-cancer pain, during 2018-2020 in a specialized geriatric clinic. The outcomes assessed were activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), pain intensity, geriatric depression scale, chronic medication use, and adverse events at six months. A cohort of 119 patients began cannabis treatment: the mean age was 79.3 ± 8.5 and 74 (62.2%) were female. Of the cohort, 43 (36.1%) experienced adverse effects due to cannabis use and 2 (1.7%) required medical attention. The mean ADL scores before and after treatment were 4.4 ± 1.8 and 4.5 ± 1.8, respectively (p = 0.27), and the mean IADL scores before and after treatment were 4.1 ± 2.6 and 4.7 ± 3, respectively (p = 0.02). We concluded that medical cannabis in older adults has a number of serious adverse events, but was not associated with a decrease in functional status, as illustrated by ADL and IADL scores after six months of continuous treatment.

Abstract
Preclinical studies have shown sex-based differences in the reinforcing effects of cannabinoid 1 receptor agonists such as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). This study sought to test whether these sex differences translate to humans by assessing the subjective and reinforcing effects of smoked cannabis in male and female volunteers. We pooled data (n = 68; 55M, 13F) from two within-subject randomized controlled trials of healthy, ≥weekly cannabis users comparing the subjective and reinforcing effects of smoked active (~25 mg THC) versus placebo cannabis (0-mg THC). Subjective ratings of drug effects and mood were measured using visual analogue scales, and reinforcing effects were measured with a cannabis self-administration task. Sex-dependent outcomes were explored using generalized linear mixed models. Under active cannabis conditions, female participants reported greater reductions from baseline in cannabis craving and significantly higher cannabis-specific ratings of strength, liking, willingness to take again and good effect, compared with males (interaction p < 0.05). Placebo and active cannabis were self-administered by 22% and 36% of male participants, respectively, and by 15% and 54% of female participants, respectively. Receipt of active cannabis significantly increased likelihood of self-administration (p = 0.011), but a sex difference was not detected (p = 0.176). Although females were more sensitive to certain positive subjective effects of active cannabis, they were not more likely than males to self-administer it. These findings highlight the need to test sex differences as a primary objective in experimental studies and may shed light on accelerated trajectories from initiation to cannabis use disorder observed among women.

Abstract
The potential therapeutic benefits of cannabidiol (CBD) require further study. Here, we report a triple-blind (participant, investigator, and outcome assessor) placebo-controlled crossover study in which 62 hypertensive volunteers were randomly assigned to receive the recently developed DehydraTECH2.0 CBD formulation or a placebo. This is the first study to have been conducted using the DehydraTECH2.0 CBD formulation over a 12-week study duration. The new formulation's long-term effects on CBD concentrations in plasma and urine, as well as its metabolites 7-hydroxy-CBD and 7-carboxy-CBD, were analyzed. The results of the plasma concentration ratio for CBD/7-OH-CBD in the third timepoint (after 5 weeks of use) were significantly higher than in the second timepoint (after 2.5 weeks of use; p = 0.043). In the same timepoints in the urine, a significantly higher concentration of 7-COOH-CBD was observed p < 0.001. Differences in CBD concentration were found between men and women. Plasma levels of CBD were still detectable 50 days after the last consumption of the CBD preparations. Significantly higher plasma CBD concentrations occurred in females compared to males, which was potentially related to greater adipose tissue. More research is needed to optimize CBD doses to consider the differential therapeutic benefits in men and women.

Abstract
BACKGROUND There is a paucity of high-quality data on patient outcomes and safety after initiating treatment with cannabis-based medicinal products (CBMPs). The aim of this study was to assess the clinical outcomes and safety of CBMPs by analyzing patient-reported outcome measures and adverse events across a broad spectrum of chronic conditions. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS This study analyzed patients enrolled in the UK Medical Cannabis Registry. Participants completed the EQ-5D-5L to assess health-related quality of life, Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) questionnaire to measure anxiety severity, and the Single-item Sleep Quality Scale (SQS) to rate sleep quality at baseline and follow-up after 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. RESULTS A total of 2833 participants met inclusion criteria. The EQ-5D-5L index value, GAD-7, and SQS all improved at each follow-up (p < 0.001). There was no difference in EQ-5D-5L index values between former or current illicit cannabis consumers and naïve patients (p > 0.050). Adverse events were reported by 474 (16.73%) participants. CONCLUSIONS This study suggests that CBMPs are associated with an improvement in health-related quality of life in UK patients with chronic diseases. Treatment was tolerated well by most participants, but adverse events were more common in female and cannabis-naïve patients.

Abstract
Epilepsy is a serious neurological disorder associated with recurrent and unpredictable seizures and extensive neuropsychiatric comorbidities. There is no cure for epilepsy, and over one third of epileptic patients have been diagnosed with drug-refractory epilepsy, indicating the critical need for novel antiseizure medications (ASMs). Cannabidiol (CBD) has been shown to decrease seizures in pediatric epilepsies, such as Dravet and Lennox-Gastaut syndromes; however, it has not been rigorously tested for adult seizures or in models of refractory focal epilepsy. Although the exact mechanism is unknown, it is likely to act in a way that is unique to certain GABA-A receptor-modulating drugs, such as neurosteroids and benzodiazepines. In this study, we sought to determine the adjunct antiseizure activity of a clinical CBD product in an adult 6-Hz model of focal refractory epilepsy. CBD was evaluated alone in both a dose-response and time-course manner and in an adjunct combination with two ASMs ganaxolone (neurosteroid) and midazolam (benzodiazepine) against 6-Hz-induced refractory focal onset, generalized seizures. In pharmacological studies, CBD produced dose-dependent protection against seizures (ED50, 53 mg/kg, i.p.) without any side effects. CBD significantly reduced both electrographic activity and behavioral ictal responses with no apparent sex differences. CBD was evaluated in an isobologram design in conjunction with ganaxolone or midazolam at three standard ratios (1:1, 1:3, 3:1). Isobolographic analysis shows the combination regimens of CBD + ganaxolone and CBD + midazolam exerted combination index of 0.313 and 0.164, indicating strong synergism for seizure protection, with little to no toxicity. Together, these results demonstrate the therapeutic potential of CBD monotherapy and as an adjunct therapy for adult focal refractory epilepsy in combination with GABAergic ASMs.

Abstract
Presently there is no drug therapy for curing epilepsy. Despite many advancements in epilepsy research, nearly 30% of people with epilepsy remain refractory to current antiseizure medications (ASM). Cannabidiol (CBD) has recently been approved as an ASM for pediatric refractory seizures, but it has not been widely tested for adult epileptogenesis and focal onset seizures. In this study, we investigated the efficacy of the FDA-approved CBD in controlling epileptogenesis and complex focal onset seizures using the mouse kindling model of human temporal lobe epilepsy. We also tested combination regimens of CBD with other ASMs. The two primary outcome measures were disease modification and suppression of generalized seizures. In the epileptogenesis study, CBD had a striking effect in attenuating kindling development, with a dose-dependent decrease in behavioral and electrographic seizure activity. In the retention study, mice previously treated with CBD had significantly reduced overall seizure burden, suggesting disease modification. In a fully-kindled seizure study, CBD produced rapid and atypical U-shaped dose-dependent protection against generalized seizures (ED50, 52 mg/kg, i.p.). In a time-course study, CBD showed a maximal protective effect within 1 h of injection, and it declined within 4 h with a biphasic response. In the combination study, CBD produced synergistic/ additive protection when given with midazolam and ganaxolone but not with tiagabine, indicating its strong potential as an adjunct ASM. Finally, the protective effects of CBD were not associated with motor and functional impairments. These preclinical findings demonstrate the potential of adjunct CBD for controlling adult complex focal onset seizure conditions.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Medical cannabis is becoming an acceptable treatment modality in medicine, especially for pain relief. Concurrently, cannabis use is becoming more prevalent worldwide, a public demand-driven trend despite the lack of established scientific basis. This observational open-label study sought to investigate the effectiveness of cannabis therapy for alleviating low back pain symptoms. METHODS Two types of cannabis treatment modalities were sequentially administered to chronic low back pain patients. After an initial 1-month washout period (WO1), the first modality was cannabidiol (CBD)-rich sublingual extract treatment administered for 10 months. Following another washout period, the second modality, Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)-rich smoked inflorescence (whole dried cannabis flowers) was administered for 12 months. RESULTS Enrolled in the study were 24 patients whose advanced imaging studies (i.e. computerized tomography or magnetic resonance imaging of the lumbar spine) revealed disc herniation or spinal stenosis. Three patients dropped out of extract therapy treatment but resumed study participation to receive THC-rich smoking therapy. After a minimum of 2 years, cannabis therapy had reduced lower back pain symptoms, as assessed by Oswestry Disability Index, the SF-12 patient-reported outcome questionnaire, and the visual analogue scale. Pain reduction was not significant during the extract treatment part of the study; however, pain reduction was significant during the inhaled therapy part of the study. CONCLUSIONS Our findings indicate that inhaled THC-rich therapy is more effective than CBD-rich sublingual extract therapy for treating low back pain and that cannabis therapy is safe and effective for chronic low back pain.

Abstract
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is an ancient homeostasis mechanism operating from embryonic stages to adulthood. It controls the growth and development of many cells and cell lineages. Dysregulation of the components of the ECS may result in uncontrolled proliferation, adhesion, invasion, inhibition of apoptosis and increased vascularization, leading to the development of various malignancies. Cancer is the disease of uncontrolled cell division. In this review, we will discuss whether the changes to the ECS are a cause or a consequence of malignization and whether different tissues react differently to changes in the ECS. We will discuss the potential use of cannabinoids for treatment of cancer, focusing on primary outcome/care-tumor shrinkage and eradication, as well as secondary outcome/palliative care-improvement of life quality, including pain, appetite, sleep, and many more factors. Finally, we will complete this review with the chapter on sex- and gender-specific differences in ECS and response to cannabinoids, and equality of the access to treatments with cannabinoids.

Abstract
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid compound with diverse molecular targets and potential therapeutic effects, including effects relevant to the treatment of psychiatric disorders. In this scoping review, we sought to determine the extent to which sex and gender have been considered as potential moderators of the neuropsychiatric effects and pharmacokinetics of CBD. In this case, 300 articles were screened, retrieved from searches in PubMed/Medline, Scopus, Google Scholar, PsycInfo and CINAHL, though only 12 met our eligibility criteria: eight studies in preclinical models and four studies in humans. Among the preclinical studies, three suggested that sex may influence long-term effects of gestational or adolescent exposure to CBD; two found no impact of sex on CBD modulation of addiction-relevant effects of Δ⁹-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC); two found antidepressant-like effects of CBD in males only; and one found greater plasma and liver CBD concentrations in females compared to males. Among the human studies, two found no sex difference in CBD pharmacokinetics in patient samples, one found greater plasma CBD concentrations in healthy females compared to males, and one found no evidence of sex differences in the effects of CBD on responses to trauma recall in patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). No studies were identified that considered the role of gender in CBD treatment effects. We discuss potential implications and current limitations of the existing literature.

The use of medical cannabis (MC) to treat cancer-related symptoms is rising. However, there is a lack of long-term trials to assess the benefits and safety of MC treatment in this population. In this work, we followed up prospectively and longitudinally on the effectiveness and safety of MC treatment. Oncology patients reported on multiple symptoms before and after MC treatment initiation at one-, three-, and 6-month follow-ups. Oncologists reported on the patients' disease characteristics. Intention-to-treat models were used to assess changes in outcomes from baseline. MC treatment was initiated by 324 patients and 212, 158 and 126 reported at follow-ups. Most outcome measures improved significantly during MC treatment for most patients (p < 0.005). Specifically, at 6 months, total cancer symptoms burden declined from baseline by a median of 18%, from 122 (82-157) at baseline to 89 (45-138) at endpoint (-18.98; 95%CI= -26.95 to -11.00; p < 0.001). Reported adverse effects were common but mostly non-serious and remained stable during MC treatment. The results of this study suggest that MC treatment is generally safe for oncology patients and can potentially reduce the burden of associated symptoms with no serious MC-related adverse effects.

Abstract
To date, the therapeutic use of cannabinoids in chronic pain management remains controversial owing to the limited clinical evidence found in randomized clinical trials (RCTs), the heterogeneous nature of the clinical indication, and the broad range of cannabis-based medicinal products (CBMPs) used in both experimental and observational clinical studies. Here we evaluate patient-reported clinical outcomes (PROMS) in a cohort of adult patients, diagnosed with chronic pain of diverse etiology, who received adjuvant treatment with oral, cannabis-based, magistral formulations between May and September 2021 at the Latin American Institute of Neurology and Nervous System (ILANS-Zerenia) in Bogotá, Colombia. During this period, 2,112 patients completed a PROMS questionnaire aimed at capturing the degree of clinical improvement of their primary symptom and any potential side effects. Most participants were female (76.1%) with an average age of 58.7 years old, and 92.5% (1,955 patients) reported some improvement in their primary symptom (p < 0.001). Two monovarietal, full-spectrum, cannabis formulations containing either cannabidiol (CBD 30 mg/mL; THC <2 mg/mL) or a balanced composition (THC 12 mg/mL; CBD 14 mg/mL) accounted for more than 99% of all prescriptions (59.5 and 39.8%, respectively). The degree of improvement was similar between both formulations, although males reported less effectiveness in the first 4 weeks of treatment. Sex-specific differences were also found in prescription patterns, with male patients increasing the intake of the balanced chemotype overtime. For many patients (71.7%) there were no adverse side effects associated to the treatment and those most reported were mild, such as somnolence (13.0%), dizziness (8.1%) and dry mouth (4.2%), which also appeared to fade over time. Our results constitute the first real-world evidence on the clinical use of medicinal cannabis in Colombia and suggest that cannabis-based oral magistral formulations represent a safe and efficacious adjuvant therapeutic option in the management of chronic pain.
