Abstract
OBJECTIVE Flexible nursing refers to the implementation of individualized nursing according to the patient's condition and characteristics, which can greatly alleviate patients' anxiety, depression and other adverse emotions and improve patients' nursing satisfaction. This experiment studies the effect of the implementation of flexible nursing model for patients with lung cancer chemotherapy. METHODS We enrolled a total of 107 patients with lung cancer who were admitted to Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine Department (East District) of Anqing Municipal Hospital from November 2020 to May 2022 in the study. Patients were selected as per inclusion and exclusion criteria. We randomly divided the patients into the test group and control group using a random number table. Patients in the test group were given flexible nursing, while those in the control group received routine care. All patients completed the self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) score and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) score and calculated standard score before admission for chemotherapy, and completed the self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) score and self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) score and the Nursing Satisfaction Questionnaire of the Eastern Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of our hospital again at the time of discharge. The anxiety, depression and nursing satisfaction of the two groups before and after nursing were statistically analyzed. We statistically analyzed patients' anxiety and depression levels, as well as their appraisal of the nursing service. RESULTS Compared to the scores obtained at the time of admission, the anxiety and depression scores significantly decreased for patients in both groups at the time of discharge (P < 0.05). Decrease in the anxiety and depression scores for the test group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Patients in the test group reported significantly greater satisfaction with the nursing care when compared to the control group (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION Flexible nursing can significantly decrease the anxiety and depression level in patients with lung cancer who receive chemotherapy and ensure more satisfactory nursing.

Rapid Rehabilitation Program Can Promote the Recovery of Gastrointestinal Function, Speed Up the Postoperative Rehabilitation Process, and Reduce the Incidence of Complications in Patients Undergoing Radical Gastrectomy. JOURNAL OF ONCOLOGY 2022; 2022:1386382. [PMID: 35368887 PMCID: PMC8975650 DOI: 10.1155/2022/1386382] [Citation(s) in RCA: 0] [Impact Index Per Article: 0] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Track Full Text] [Download PDF] [Figures] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Received: 12/22/2021] [Revised: 01/14/2022] [Accepted: 01/21/2022] [Indexed: 12/24/2022]
Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of rapid rehabilitation programs on gastrointestinal function, rehabilitation process, and complications of patients undergoing radical gastrectomy. Methods Of ninety-eight radical gastrectomy cases assessed for eligibility from January 2018 to July 2020, 43 patients who received routine perioperative nursing were assigned to the control group (CG), and 55 patients given a rapid rehabilitation program were assigned to the research group (RG). The recovery of gastrointestinal function, pain, nutritional status, complications, rehabilitation process, quality of life, and nursing satisfaction were compared. Results After nursing, in contrast to the CG, the RG showed significantly better recovery of gastrointestinal function (the first time to eat (t = 7.701, P < 0.01), the first time to anal exhaust (t = 9.342, P < 0.01), the first time to defecation (t = 2.061, P=0.040), and the recovery time to bowel sounds (t = 16.030, P < 0.01)), notably improved pain and nutritional status, and showed fewer complications (X2 = 9.385, P=0.002). Rapid rehabilitation protocol also showed shorter recovery time and higher quality of life and nursing satisfaction of patients versus the routine perioperative nursing (all P < 0.05). Conclusion The rapid rehabilitation program can accelerate the recovery of gastrointestinal function and postoperative rehabilitation and reduce the incidence of complications in patients undergoing radical gastrectomy.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study was designed to investigate the application value of humanistic care interventions in patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans (LEASO). METHODS We enrolled 98 LEASO patients undergoing interventional therapy in our hospital into this study, among whom 47 cases received conventional care interventions (the regular group) while the other 51 received humanistic care interventions based on conventional care interventions (the research group). The two groups were compared in negative emotions, complications, and quality of life of patients. RESULTS Scores of negative emotions were lower in the research group than in the regular group after care (P < 0.05). The pain intensity decreased in both groups after care, with a sharper decrease in the research group (P < 0.05). The incidence of complications was lower in the research group than in the regular group after care (P < 0.05). The pain-free walking distance (PFWD) increased remarkably in both groups after care, with a longer PFWD in the research group than in the regular group (P < 0.05). Scores of the 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36) increased after care in both groups (P < 0.05), with higher SF-36 scores in the research group than in the regular group (P < 0.05). SF-36 reflects the quality of life of patients from four aspects including vitality, emotional state, social function, and role-emotional. The care compliance and satisfaction level with care of patients were higher in the research group than in the regular group (P < 0.05). The care compliance rate and patient satisfaction level with care were higher in the research group than in the regular group (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION Humanistic care interventions can reduce postoperative pain intensity and improve the quality of life in patients with LEASO.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Functional constipation (FC) is a common functional gastrointestinal disease with various clinical manifestations. It is a physical and mental disease, which seriously affects patient physical and mental health and quality of life. Biofeedback therapy is the treatment of choice for FC, especially outlet obstructive constipation caused by pelvic floor dysfunction. High-quality nursing is a new nursing model in modern clinical work and a new concept of modern nursing service. AIM To explore the effect of biofeedback combined with high-quality nursing in the treatment of FC. METHODS A total of 100 patients with FC admitted to our hospital from March 2015 to July 2019 were selected for clinical observation. These patients were randomly divided into two groups of 50: Experimental group (biofeedback combined with high-quality nursing treatment group) and control group (biofeedback group). RESULTS The constipation symptom score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The anal canal resting pressure and initial defecation threshold of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the maximum squeeze systolic pressure of the anal canal of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Zung's Self-Rating Depression Scale scores of the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment. The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale scores of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The patient satisfaction score of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION The application of biofeedback combined with high-quality nursing in the treatment of FC has significant advantages over pure biofeedback treatment, and it is worthy of promotion in clinical work.
