Abstract
Accurate diagnosis and staging are crucial for selecting treatment for patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The desmoplastic responses associated with PDAC are often characterized by hypometabolism. Here, we investigated 18F-fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI)-04 PET/CT in evaluation of PDAC and compared the findings with those obtained using 18F-FDG. Methods: Sixty-two PDAC patients underwent 18F-FAPI-04 PET/CT and 18F-FDG PET/CT. Identification of primary lesions, lymph node (LN) metastasis, and distant metastasis (DM) by these methods was evaluated, and TNM staging was performed. Correlation between SUVmax of the primary lesion and treatment response was explored in patients who received systemic therapy. Results: 18F-FAPI-04 PET/CT identified all patients with PDAC; 18F-FDG PET/CT missed 1 patient. Tracer uptake was higher in 18F-FAPI-04 PET/CT than in 18F-FDG PET/CT in primary tumors (10.63 vs. 2.87, P < 0.0001), LN metastasis (2.90 vs. 1.43, P < 0.0001), and DM (liver, 6.11 vs. 3.10, P = 0.002; peritoneal, 4.70 vs. 2.08, P = 0.015). The methods showed no significant difference in the T staging category, but the N and M values were significantly higher for 18F-FAPI-04 PET/CT than for 18F-FDG PET/CT (P = 0.002 and 0.008, respectively). Thus, 14 patients were upgraded, and only 1 patient was downgraded, by 18F-FAPI-04 PET/CT compared with 18F-FDG PET/CT. A high SUVmax of the primary tumor did not correlate with treatment response for either 18F-FAPI-04 or 18F-FDG. Conclusion: 18F-FAPI-04 PET/CT performed better than 18F-FDG PET/CT in identification of primary tumors, LN metastasis, and DM and in TNM staging of PDAC.

Abstract
ABSTRACT A 46-year-old man underwent PET/CT for metastatic survey 6 years after radical resection of pancreatic cancer. In addition to the increased uptake observed in the operative area, increased FDG uptake was also observed in the left external abdominal oblique muscle and the left frontal scalp. Both intramuscular and subcutaneous lesions were surgically excised and diagnosed as metastases from pancreatic cancer.

Abstract
ABSTRACT We present the 68 Ga-DOTATATE and 68 Ga-FAPI (fibroblast activation protein inhibitor) PET/CT findings of a 61-year-old man diagnosed with atypical World Health Organization grade II multiple meningiomas. The patient has been stable for 2 years following multiple surgeries and external radiotherapy because of recurring disease until he recently described frequent headaches, and a follow-up examination confirmed new meningioma lesions on MRI. However, the patient was inoperable and was referred for 68 Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT to determine eligibility for salvage peptide receptor radionuclide therapy. He also underwent fibroblast activation protein-targeted imaging using 68 Ga-FAPI04 PET/CT, which revealed heterogeneous, low to mild fibroblast activation protein expression across multiple meningioma lesions.

Abstract
Radiolabeled fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) has been introduced as a promising PET tracer for imaging of pancreatic cancer. To date, FAPI PET/computed tomography (CT) has generally but not universally yielded higher radiotracer uptake and tumor-to-background contrast than 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose PET/CT in primary tumors, involved lymph nodes, and visceral metastases. It may also be useful for the evaluation of the tumor response to chemotherapy. However, increased FAPI uptake may be observed in benign conditions, including pancreatitis, pancreatic tuberculosis, IgG4-related disease, and serous cystadenoma, and therefore, clinical, radiological, and pathological correlations are required.

Abstract
Nanomedicines overcome the pharmacokinetic limitations of traditional drug formulations and have promising prospect in cancer treatment. However, nanomedicine delivery in vivo is still facing challenges from the complex physiological environment. For the purpose of effective tumor therapy, they should be designed to guarantee the five features principle, including long blood circulation, efficient tumor accumulation, deep matrix penetration, enhanced cell internalization and accurate drug release. To ensure the excellent performance of the designed nanomedicine, it would be better to monitor the drug delivery process as well as the therapeutic effects by real-time imaging. In this review, we summarize strategies in developing nanomedicines for efficiently meeting the five features of drug delivery, and the role of several imaging modalities (fluorescent imaging (FL), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), photoacoustic imaging (PAI), positron emission tomography (PET), and electron microscopy) in tracing drug delivery and therapeutic effect in vivo based on five features principle.

Abstract
ABSTRACT A 23-year-old woman presented with a dry cough and dyspnea. Contrast-enhanced CT revealed an intratracheal space-occupying lesion with continuous homogeneous enhancement and airway stenosis. The patient then underwent 68 Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/CT, which showed increased uptake of FAPI-04 by the lesion. Postoperative pathology confirmed the lesion as tracheal mucoepidermoid carcinoma. This case reports a rare site of mucoepidermoid carcinoma and highlights the potential utility of 68 Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/CT for the diagnosis of tracheal mucoepidermoid carcinoma.
