The 16S rRNA gene sequence phylogenetic and phylogenomic analysis revealed that strain JQZ6Y-1T formed a stable clade with Paenibacillus wenxiniae DSM 100576T and Paenibacillus hunanensis CGMCC 1.8907T within the genus Paenibacillus. The 16S rRNA gene sequence similarities of strain JQZ6Y-1T with the related species P. wenxiniae DSM 100576T and P. hunanensis CGMCC 1.8907T were 98.3% and 98.2%, respectively. The average nucleotide identity values of strain JQZ6Y-1T with the related species P. wenxiniae DSM 100576T and P. hunanensis CGMCC 1.8907T were 77.5% and 80.4%, respectively. The digital DNA-DNA hybridization values of strain JQZ6Y-1T with the related species P. wenxiniae DSM 100576T and P. hunanensis CGMCC 1.8907T were 22.9% and 23.0%, respectively. These values clearly indicated that strain JQZ6Y-1T represented a novel species. The diagnostic diamino acid in the cell-wall peptidoglycan of strain JQZ6Y-1T was meso-diaminopimelic acid, and MK-7 was the predominant menaquinone. The polar lipids comprised diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, two unidentified aminophospholipids, two unidentified phospholipids, and one unidentified lipid. The major fatty acids were anteiso-C15:0 and C16:0. Cells of strain JQZ6Y-1T were Gram positive and rod shaped. Optimum growth occurred at pH 7.0, 30 ℃, and with 1-2% (w/v) NaCl. Based on phylogenomic and phylogenetic analyses coupled with phenotypic and chemotaxonomic characterizations, strain JQZ6Y-1T could be classified as a novel species of the genus Paenibacillus, for which the name Paenibacillus kandeliae sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is JQZ6Y-1T (=CGMCC 1.18974T = JCM 34547T).

Abstract
In this study, a Gram-stain-positive, non-motile, oxidase- and catalase-negative, rod-shaped, bacterial strain (SG_E_30_P1T) that formed light yellow colonies was isolated from a groundwater sample of Sztaravoda spring, Hungary. Based on 16S rRNA phylogenetic and phylogenomic analyses, the strain was found to form a distinct linage within the family Microbacteriaceae. Its closest relatives in terms of near full-length 16S rRNA gene sequences are Salinibacterium hongtaonis MH299814 (97.72 % sequence similarity) and Leifsonia psychrotolerans GQ406810 (97.57 %). The novel strain grows optimally at 20-28 °C, at neutral pH and in the presence of NaCl (1-2 w/v%). Strain SG_E_30_P1T contains MK-7 and B-type peptidoglycan with diaminobutyrate as the diagnostic amino acid. The major cellular fatty acids are anteiso-C15 : 0, iso-C16 : 0 and iso-C14 : 0, and the polar lipid profile is composed of diphosphatidylglycerol and phosphatidylglycerol, as well as an unidentified aminoglycolipid, aminophospholipid and some unidentified phospholipids. The assembled draft genome is a contig with a total length of 2 897 968 bp and a DNA G+C content of 65.5 mol%. Amino acid identity values with it closest relatives with sequenced genomes of <62.54 %, as well as other genome distance results, indicate that this bacterium represents a novel genus within the family Microbacteriaceae. We suggest that SG_E_30_P1T (=DSM 111415T=NCAIM B.02656T) represents the type strain of a novel genus and species for which the name Antiquaquibacter oligotrophicus gen. nov., sp. nov. is proposed.

Abstract
Strains BSK12Z-3T and BSK12Z-4, two Gram-stain-positive, aerobic, non-spore-forming strains, were isolated from Shankou Mangrove Nature Reserve, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. The diagnostic diamino acid in the cell-wall peptidoglycan of strain BSK12Z-3T was LL-diaminopimelic acid and MK-8(H4) was the predominant menaquinone. The polar lipids comprised diphosphatidylglycerol (DPG), phosphatidylglycerol (PG) and phospholipid (PL). The major fatty acids was iso-C16:0. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences suggested that the two strains fell within the genus Nocardioides, appearing most closely related to Nocardioides ginkgobilobae KCTC 39594T (97.5-97.6 % sequence similarity) and Nocardioides marinus DSM 18248T (97.4-97.6 %). Genome-based phylogenetic analysis confirmed that strains BSK12Z-3T and BSK12Z-4 formed a distinct phylogenetic cluster within the genus Nocardioides. The average nucleotide identity (ANI) and digital DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH) values of strains BSK12Z-3T, BSK12Z-4 with their most related species N. marinus DSM18248T were within the ranges of 77.2-77.3 % and 21.3-21.4 %, respectively, clearly indicated that strains BSK12Z-3T, BSK12Z-4 represented novel species. Strains BSK12Z-3T and BSK12Z-4 exhibited 99.9 % 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity. The ANI and dDDH values between the two strains were 97.8 % and 81.1 %, respectively, suggesting that they belong to the same species. However, DNA fingerprinting discriminated that they were not from one clonal origin. Based on phylogenomic and phylogenetic analyses coupled with phenotypic and chemotaxonomic characterizatons, strains BSK12Z-3T and BSK12Z-4 could be classified as a novel species of the genus Nocardioides, for which the name Nocardioides bruguierae sp. nov., is proposed. The type strain is BSK12Z-3T (=CGMCC 4.7709T = JCM 34554T).

Abstract
A Gram-stain-negative, aerobic, motile, rod-shaped bacterium, designated CMS5P-6T, was isolated from a surface-sterilized bark of Aegiceras corniculatum collected from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, PR China, and investigated by a polyphasic approach to determine its taxonomic position. Strain CMS5P-6T was found to grow optimally with 0-1 % (w/v) NaCl, at 30 °C and pH 6.0-7.0. Substrate mycelia and aerial mycelia were not formed, and no diffusible pigments were observed on the media tested. Phylogenetic analysis showed that strain CMS5P-6T showed high 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity of 96.7 % to Hephaestia caeni DSM 25527T and Sphingomonas colocasiea CC-MHH0539T. The average nucleotide identity, digital DNA-DNA hybridization and average amino acid identity values between strain CMS5P-6T and H. caeni DSM 25527T were 78.0, 21.7 and 70.8 %, respectively. The average nucleotide identity, digital DNA-DNA hybridization and average amino acid identity values between strain CMS5P-6T and S. colocasiea JCM 31229T were 74.0, 19.9 and 61.4 %, respectively. Phylogenomic analyses based on genome sequences showed that strain CMS5P-6T and H. caeni DSM 25527T formed a distinct cluster within the family Sphingomonadaceae and far away from S. colocasiea JCM 31229T. The DNA G+C content of strain CMS5P-6T was determined to be 65.6 mol%. The cell-wall peptidoglycan was found to contain meso-diaminopimelic acid as the diagnostic diamino acid and ubiquinone Q-10 was identified as the respiratory lipoquinone. The polar lipids were found to comprise diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, sphingoglycolipid and two unidentified aminolipids, and the major fatty acids were identified as C18 : 1 ω7c, C19 : 0 cycloω8c and C16 : 0. On the basis of phylogenetic, genomic, chemotaxonomic and phenotypic data, strain CMS5P-6T can be concluded to represent a novel species of the genus Hephaestia, for which the name Hephaestia mangrovi sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is CMS5P-6T (=JCM 33125T=CGMCC 1.13868T).

Abstract
A Gram-stain-positive, aerobic, rod-shaped, endospore-forming bacterium, designated strain M2MS4P-1T, was isolated from surface-sterilized bark of Sonneratiaapetala sampled in Guangxi, China. The bacterium was characterized by a polyphasic approach to determine its taxonomic position. 16S rRNA gene sequence comparisons revealed that strain M2MS4P-1T belonged to the genus Cohnella and was most closely to Cohnella luojiensis HY-22RT (98.4 % similarity). The average nucleotide identity value and estimated DDH value between strain M2MS4P-1T and the type strain of C. luojiensis HY-22RT were 79.2 and 20.1 %, respectively. Neither substrate nor aerial mycelia were formed, and no diffusible pigments were observed on the media tested. Strain M2MS4P-1T grew in the pH range 6.0-9.0 (optimum, pH 7.0-8.0), at temperatures between 10-37 °C (30 °C) and in 0-1 % (w/v) NaCl (0 %). The predominant isoprenoid quinone in strain M2MS4P-1T was menaquinone-7. The major fatty acids were anteiso-C15 : 0 and iso-C16 : 0. The polar lipids comprised diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, lysyl-phosphatidylglycerol, four unidentified aminophospholipids and two unidentified phospholipids. The DNA G+C content was 51.5 mol%. According to the phylogenetic, phenotypic and chemotaxonomic evidence, strain M2MS4P-1T was clearly distinguishable from other species with validly published names in the genus Cohnella and should therefore be classified as a novel species, for which we suggest the name Cohnellaendophytica sp. nov. The type strain is M2MS4P-1T (=KCTC 43011T=CGMCC 1.13745T).
