Abstract
BCOR-rearranged sarcoma was classified by the World Health Organization in 2020 as a new subgroup of undifferentiated small round-cell sarcoma. It is known to occur very rarely in the kidney. This report presents the first case of a primary renal BCOR::CCNB3 sarcoma in a 22-year-old woman. An 8-cm cystic mass was identified in the left kidney by abdominal pelvic computed tomography. Histopathologic examination revealed the mass to be composed of small round to oval or spindle cells with fibrous septa and a delicate vascular network. A BCOR::CCNB3 fusion was detected by next-generation sequencing-based molecular testing. BCOR::CCNB3 sarcoma presents diagnostic difficulties, highlighting the importance of recognizing its histological features. Immunohistochemical markers are helpful for diagnosis, but genetic molecular testing is necessary for accurate diagnosis. These tumors have a very poor and aggressive prognosis, and an optimal therapeutic regimen has not yet been defined. Therefore, further studies are needed.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Given the rarity of cutaneous/subcutaneous Ewing sarcoma, their clinical characteristics remain poorly understood. In this study, we aimed to analyse the clinical characteristics of patients with cutaneous/subcutaneous Ewing sarcoma and review the treatment strategy. METHODS We reviewed the clinical data of 154 patients with Ewing sarcoma who were treated at our hospital between 2005 and 2019. Amongst these patients, 21 patients with cutaneous/subcutaneous Ewing sarcoma were analysed. As a basic strategy, patients with localized disease received intensive chemotherapy (vincristine-doxorubicin-cyclophosphamide/ifosfamide-etoposide), followed by definitive surgery with or without radiotherapy. In total, 15 patients underwent pre-diagnostic resection with macroscopic residue (seven patients) or non-macroscopic residue (eight patients) before intensive chemotherapy. RESULTS The median tumour length of the measurable lesions was 3.2 cm, and the ratio of metastasis was significantly lower than the Ewing sarcoma of other anatomical sites (10% vs. 37%, P = 0.013). Despite the pre-diagnostic resection, local recurrence after additional resection and/or adjuvant radiotherapy did not occur in any of the patients with localized disease. Overall survival was significantly higher in patients with cutaneous/subcutaneous Ewing sarcoma than in patients with Ewing sarcoma of other anatomical sites (hazard ratio = 0.33, P = 0.013). The event-free survival rate of cutaneous/subcutaneous Ewing sarcoma was also superior to that of Ewing sarcoma of other anatomical sites (hazard ratio = 0.35, P = 0.01). CONCLUSIONS Patients with cutaneous/subcutaneous Ewing sarcoma may have better prognosis than those with Ewing sarcoma at other anatomical sites. Although pre-diagnostic resection without appropriate investigations is not recommended, local control may be recovered by using a combination of additional resection, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Abstract
Sarcomas are rare, heterogeneous mesenchymal neoplasms with various subtypes, each exhibiting unique genetic characteristics. Although studies have been conducted to improve the treatment for sarcomas, the specific development from normal somatic cells to sarcoma cells is still unclear and needs further research. The diagnosis of sarcomas depends heavily on the pathological examination, which is yet a difficult work and requires expert analysis. Advanced treatment like precise medicine optimizes the efficacy of treatment and the prognosis of sarcoma patients, yet, in sarcomas, more studies should be done to put such methods in clinical practice. The revolution of advanced technology has pushed the multi-omics approach to the front, and more could be learnt in sarcomas with such methods. Multi-omics combines the character of each omics techniques, analyzes the mechanism of tumor cells from different levels, which makes up for the shortage of single-omics, and gives us an integrated picture of bioactivities inside tumor cells. Multi-omics research of sarcomas has reached appreciable progress in recent years, leading to a better understanding of the mutation, proliferation, and metastasis of sarcomas. With the help of multi-omics approach, novel biomarkers were found, with promising effects in improving the process of diagnosis, prognosis anticipation, and treatment decision. By analyzing large amounts of biological features, subtype clustering could be done in a better precision, which may be useful in the clinical procedure. In this review, we summarized recent discoveries using multi-omics approach in sarcomas, discussed their merits and challenges, and concluded with future perspectives of the sarcoma research.
