Abstract
This research delves into the challenges of achieving secure consensus tracking within multi-agent systems characterized by directed hypergraph topologies, in the face of hybrid deception attacks. The hybrid discrete and continuous deception attacks are targeted at the controller communication channels and the hyperedges, respectively. To overcome these threats, an impulsive control mechanism based on hypergraph theory are introduced, and sufficient conditions are established, under which consensus can be maintained in a mean-square bounded sense, supported by rigorous mathematical proofs. Furthermore, the investigation quantifies the relationship between the mean-square bounded consensus of the multi-agent system and the intensity of the deception attacks, delineating a specific range for this error metric. The robustness and effectiveness of the proposed control method are verified through comprehensive simulation experiments, demonstrating its applicability in varied scenarios influenced by these sophisticated attacks. This study underscores the potential of hypergraph-based strategies in enhancing system resilience against complex hybrid attacks.

Abstract
In this paper, the design of an adaptive neural event-triggered control scheme for a class of switched nonlinear systems affected by external disturbances and deception attacks is presented. In order to address the effects caused by unknown disturbances, a switched nonlinear disturbance observer is used, and the error between the estimated signals and actual disturbances is small. Meanwhile, a prescribed performance function is introduced, which aims to ensure system output reaches the performance bounds within a predefined finite time. In addition, a dynamic event-triggered mechanism is designed to reduce the communication load. Based on the theoretical analysis, all signals within the closed-loop system are bounded, while simultaneously ensuring the complete elimination of Zeno behavior. Finally, the validity and efficacy of the scheme are proven by an example of numerical simulation.

Abstract
This paper addresses the asynchronous control problem for semi-Markov reaction-diffusion neural networks (SMRDNNs) under probabilistic event-triggered protocol (PETP) scheduling. A semi-Markov process with a deterministic switching rule is introduced to characterize the stochastic behavior of these networks, effectively mitigating the impacts of arbitrary switching. Leveraging statistical data on communication-induced delays, a novel PETP is proposed that adjusts transmission frequencies through a probabilistic delay division method. The dynamic adjustment of event trigger conditions based on real-time neural network is realized, and the responsiveness of the system is enhanced, which is of great significance for improving the performance and reliability of the communication system. Additionally, a dynamic asynchronous model is introduced that more accurately captures the variations between system modes and controller modes in the network environment. Ultimately, the efficacy and superiority of the developed strategies are validated through a simulation example.

Abstract
In this article, master-slave synchronization of reaction-diffusion neural networks (RDNNs) with nondifferentiable delay is investigated via the adaptive control method. First, centralized and decentralized adaptive controllers with state coupling are designed, respectively, and a new analytical method by discussing the size of adaptive gain is proposed to prove the convergence of the adaptively controlled error system with general delay. Then, spatial coupling with adaptive gains depending on the diffusion information of the state is first proposed to achieve the master-slave synchronization of delayed RDNNs, while this coupling structure was regarded as a negative effect in most of the existing works. Finally, numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive controllers. In comparison with the existing adaptive controllers, the proposed adaptive controllers in this article are still effective even if the network parameters are unknown and the delay is nonsmooth, and thus have a wider range of applications.

Abstract
This paper aims to study the fixed-time stabilization of a class of delayed discontinuous reaction-diffusion Cohen-Grossberg neural networks. Firstly, by providing some relaxed conditions containing indefinite functions and based on inequality techniques, a new fixed-time stability lemma is given, which can improve the traditional ones. Secondly, based on state-dependent switching laws, the periodic wave solution of the formulated networks is transformed into the periodic solution of ordinary differential system. By utilizing differential inclusions theory and coincidence theorem, the existence of periodic solutions is obtained. Thirdly, based on the new fixed-time stability lemma, the periodic solutions are stabilized at zero in a fixed-time, which is a new topic on reaction-diffusion networks. Moreover, the established criteria are all delay-dependent, which are less conservative than the previous delay-independent ones for ensuring the stabilization of delayed reaction-diffusion networks. Finally, two examples give numerical explanations of the proposed results and highlight the influence of delays.

Abstract
Master-slave synchronization of two delayed neural networks with adaptive controller has been studied in recent years; however, the existing delays in network models are bounded or unbounded with some derivative constraints. For more general delay without these restrictions, how to design proper adaptive controller and prove rigorously the convergence of error system is still a challenging problem. This article gives a positive answer for this problem. By means of the stability result of unbounded delayed system and some analytical techniques, we prove that the traditional centralized adaptive algorithms can achieve global asymptotical synchronization even if the network delays are unbounded without any derivative constraints. To describe the convergence speed of the synchronization error, adaptive designs depending on a flexible ω -type function are also provided to control the synchronization error, which can lead exponential synchronization, polynomial synchronization, and logarithmically synchronization. Numerical examples on delayed neural networks and chaotic Ikeda-like oscillator are presented to verify the adaptive designs, and we find that in the case of unbounded delay, the intervention of ω -type function can promote the realization of synchronization but may destroy the convergence of control gain, and this however will not happen in the case of bounded delay.

Abstract
In this article, the exponential synchronization control issue of reaction-diffusion neural networks (RDNNs) is mainly resolved by the sampling-based event-triggered scheme under Dirichlet boundary conditions. Based on the sampled state information, the event-triggered control protocol is updated only when the triggering condition is met, which effectively reduces the communication burden and saves energy. In addition, the proposed control algorithm is combined with sampled-data control, which can effectively avoid the Zeno phenomenon. By thinking of the proper Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and using some momentous inequalities, a sufficient condition is obtained for RDNNs to achieve exponential synchronization. Finally, some simulation results are shown to demonstrate the validity of the algorithm.

Abstract
This article investigates finite-time stabilization of competitive neural networks with discrete time-varying delays (DCNNs). By virtue of comparison strategies and inequality techniques, finite-time stabilization of the underlying DCNNs is analyzed by designing a discontinuous state feedback controller, which simplifies the controller design and proof processes of some existing results. Meanwhile, global exponential stabilization of the DCNNs is provided under a continuous state feedback controller. In addition, global exponential stability of the DCNNs is shown as an M-matrix, which contains some published outcomes as special cases. Abstract
This article investigates the stability and synchronization of nonautonomous reaction-diffusion neural networks with general time-varying delays. Compared with the existing works concerning reaction-diffusion neural networks, the main innovation of this article is that the network coefficients are time-varying, and the delays are general (which means that fewer constraints are posed on delays; for example, the commonly used conditions of differentiability and boundedness are no longer needed). By Green's formula and some analytical techniques, some easily checkable criteria on stability and synchronization for the underlying neural networks are established. These obtained results not only improve some existing ones but also contain some novel results that have not yet been reported. The effectiveness and superiorities of the established criteria are verified by three numerical examples.

Abstract
Global exponential stability (GES) for impulsive timescale-type nonautonomous neural networks (ITNNNs) with mixed delays is investigated in this article. Discrete time-varying and infinite distributed delays (DTVIDDs) are taken into consideration. First, an improved timescale-type Halanay inequality is proven by timescale theory. Second, several algebraic inequality criteria are demonstrated by constructing impulse-dependent functions and utilizing timescale analytical techniques. Different from the published works, the theoretical results can be applied to GES for ITNNNs and impulsive stabilization design of timescale-type nonautonomous neural networks (TNNNs) with mixed delays. The improved timescale-type Halanay inequality considers time-varying coefficients and DTVIDDs, which improves and extends some existing ones. GES criteria for ITNNNs cover the stability conditions of discrete-time nonautonomous neural networks (NNs) and continuous-time ones, and these theoretical results hold for NNs with discrete-continuous dynamics. The effectiveness of our new theoretical results is verified by two numerical examples in the end.

Abstract
This article investigates the global stability of bidirectional associative memory neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays (DBAMNNs). By employing the comparison strategy and inequality techniques, global asymptotic stability (GAS) and global exponential stability (GES) of the underlying DBAMNNs are of concern in terms of p -norm ( p ≥ 2 ). Meanwhile, GES of the addressed DBAMNNs is also analyzed in terms of 1-norm. When distributed time delay is neglected, the GES of the corresponding bidirectional associative memory neural networks is presented as an M -matrix, which includes certain existing outcomes as special cases. Two examples are finally provided to substantiate the validity of theories.

Abstract
This article focuses on the problem of prefixed-time synchronization for stochastic multicoupled delay dynamic networks with reaction-diffusion terms and discontinuous activation by means of local intermittent sampling control. Notably, unlike the existing common fixed-time synchronization, this article puts forward a new synchronization concept, prefixed-time synchronization, based on the fact that stochastic noise and discontinuous activation can be seen everywhere in practical engineering, which can effectively perfect and improve the existing works. Specifically, a local intermittent in the time domain and point sampling control strategy in the spatial domain is proposed instead of a simple single intermittent control approach, which greatly reduces the control cost. In addition, by some effective means, including the famous Young's inequality, Jensen's inequality, and Hölder's inequality, we obtain two different synchronization criteria of the networks without delay and with multicoupling delays and deeply reveal the quantitative relationship among control period, point sampling length, and network scale. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the developed method and the practicability by Chua's circuit model.

Abstract
These days, the increasing incremental cost consensus-based algorithms are designed to tackle the economic dispatch (ED) problem in smart grids (SGs). However, one principal obstruction lies in privacy disclosure for generators and consumers in electricity activities between supply and demand sides, which may bring great losses to them. Hence, it is extraordinarily essential to design effective privacy-preserving approaches for ED problems. In this article, we propose a two-phase distributed and effective heterogeneous privacy-preserving consensus-based (DisEHPPC) ED scheme, where a demand response (DR)-based framework is constructed, including a DR server, data manager, and a set of local controllers. The first phase is that Kullback-Leibler (KL) privacy is guaranteed for the privacy of consumers' demand by the differential privacy method. The second phase is that (ε,δ) -privacy is, respectively, achieved for the generation energy of generators and the sensitivity of electricity consumption to electricity price by designing the privacy-preserving incremental cost consensus-based (PPICC) algorithm. Meanwhile, the proposed PPICC algorithm tackles the formulated ED problem. Subsequently, we further carry out the detailed theoretical analysis on its convergence, optimality of final solution, and privacy degree. It is found that the optimal solution for the ED problem and the privacy preservation of both supply and demand sides can be guaranteed simultaneously. By evaluation of a numerical experiment, the correctness and effectiveness of the DisEHPPC scheme are confirmed.

Abstract
Taking into account the infinite distributed delays and reaction-diffusions, this article investigates the global exponential synchronization problem of a class of memristor-based competitive neural networks (MCNNs) with different time scales. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and inequality approach, an adaptive control approach is proposed to ensure the exponential synchronization of the addressed drive-response networks. The closed-loop system is a discontinuous and delayed partial differential system in a cascade form, involving the spatial diffusion, the infinite distributed delays, the parametric adaptive law, the state-dependent switching parameters, and the variable structure controllers. By combining the theories of nonsmooth analysis, partial differential equation (PDE) and adaptive control, we present a new analytical method for rigorously deriving the synchronization of the states of the complex system. The derived m-norm (m ≥ 2)-based synchronization criteria are easily verified and the theoretical results are easily extended to memristor-based neural networks (NNs) without different time scales and reaction-diffusions. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

Abstract
This article mainly considers the output synchronization (OS) problem of multiple weighted and adaptive output coupled reaction-diffusion neural networks (RDNNs) without and with coupling delays in finite time. Without coupling delays, an adaptive control law and an output feedback controller are, respectively, proposed to ensure that the multiple weighted and output coupled RDNNs are output synchronized and output synchronized in finite time. With coupling delays, an adaptive coupling weights control scheme and a novel feedback controller are put forward to make the multiple weighted RDNNs with output couplings achieve OS in finite time. Moreover, the finite-time OS is considered in the presence of external disturbances. By the Lyapunov approach, several finite-time OS and OS criteria are given. Finally, two simulation examples are presented to justify the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive control laws and controllers.

Abstract
This article studies the practical exponential stability of impulsive stochastic reaction-diffusion systems (ISRDSs) with delays. First, a direct approach and the Lyapunov method are developed to investigate the p th moment practical exponential stability and estimate the convergence rate. Note that these two methods can also be used to discuss the exponential stability of systems in certain conditions. Then, the practical stability results are successfully applied to the impulsive reaction-diffusion stochastic Hopfield neural networks (IRDSHNNs) with delays. By the illustration of four numerical examples and their simulations, our results in this article are proven to be effective in dealing with the problem of practical exponential stability of ISRDSs with delays, and may be regarded as stabilization results.

Abstract
This article focuses on multiagent distributed-constrained optimization problems in a dynamic environment, in which a group of agents aims to cooperatively optimize a sum of time-changing local cost functions subject to time-varying coupled constraints. Both the local cost functions and constraint functions are unrevealed to an individual agent until an action is submitted. We first investigate a gradient-feedback scenario, where each agent can access both values and gradients of cost functions and constraint functions owned by itself at the chosen action. Then, we design a distributed primal-dual online learning algorithm and show that the proposed algorithm can achieve the sublinear bounds for both the regret and constraint violations. Furthermore, we extend the gradient-feedback algorithm to a gradient-free setup, where an individual agent has only attained the values of local cost functions and constraint functions at two queried points near the selected action. We develop a bandit version of the previous method and give the explicitly sublinear bounds on the expected regret and expected constraint violations. The results indicate that the bandit algorithm can achieve almost the same performance as the gradient-feedback algorithm under wild conditions. Finally, numerical simulations on an electric vehicle charging problem demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

Abstract
In this paper, we revisit the drive-response synchronization of a class of recurrent neural networks with unbounded delays and time-varying coefficients, contrary to usual in the literature about time-varying neural networks, the signs of self-feedback coefficients are permitted to be indefinite or the time-varying coefficients can be unbounded. A generalized scalar delay differential inequality considering indefinite self-feedback coefficient and unbounded delay simultaneously is established, which covers the existing result with bounded delay, the applicabilities of the sufficient conditions are discussed. Some novel criteria for network synchronization are then derived by constructing different candidate functions. These results have been improved in some aspects compared with the existing ones. Differential inequality in vector form is also derived to obtain a more refined synchronization criterion which removes some strong assumptions. Three examples are presented to verify the effectiveness and show the superiorities of our theoretical results.

Abstract
In this paper, the bipartite synchronization issue for a class of coupled reaction-diffusion networks with antagonistic interactions and switching topologies is investigated. First of all, by virtue of Lyapunov functional method and pinning control technique, we obtain some sufficient conditions which can guarantee that networks with signed graph topologies realize bipartite synchronization under any initial conditions and arbitrary switching signals. Secondly, for the general switching signal and periodic switching signal, a pinning controller that can ensure bipartite synchronization of reaction-diffusions networks is designed based on the obtained conditions. Meanwhile, a directed relationship between coupling strength and control gains is presented. Thirdly, numerical simulation is provided to demonstrate the correctness and validity of the derived theoretical results for reaction-diffusion systems. We briefly conclude our findings and future work.

Abstract
This paper considers the self-synchronization and tracking synchronization issues for a class of nonidentically coupled neural networks model with unknown parameters and diffusion effects. Using the special structure of neural networks with global Lipschitz activation function, nonidentical terms are treated as external disturbances, which can then be compensated via robust adaptive control techniques. For the case where no common reference trajectory is given in advance, a distributed adaptive controller is proposed to drive the synchronization error to an adjustable bounded area. For the case where a reference trajectory is predesigned, two distributed adaptive controllers are proposed, respectively, to address the tracking synchronization problem with bounded and unbounded reference trajectories, different decomposition methods are given to extract the heterogeneous characteristics. To avoid the appearance of global information, such as the spectrum of the coupling matrix, corresponding adaptive designs on coupling strengths are also provided for both cases. Moreover, the upper bounds of the final synchronization errors can be gradually adjusted according to the parameters of the adaptive designs. Finally, numerical examples are given to test the effectiveness of the control algorithms.

Abstract
This article investigates the global exponential stabilization (GES) of inertial memristive neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays (DIMNNs). By introducing the inertial term into memristive neural networks (MNNs), DIMNNs are formulated as the second-order differential equations with discontinuous right-hand sides. Via a variable transformation, the initial DIMNNs are rewritten as the first-order differential equations. By exploiting the theories of differential inclusion, inequality techniques, and the comparison strategy, the p th moment GES ( p ≥ 1 ) of the addressed DIMNNs is presented in terms of algebraic inequalities within the sense of Filippov, which enriches and extends some published results. In addition, the global exponential stability of MNNs is also performed in the form of an M-matrix, which contains some existing ones as special cases. Finally, two simulations are carried out to validate the correctness of the theories, and an application is developed in pseudorandom number generation.

Abstract
This article concentrates on the synchronization problem of memristive complex-valued neural networks (CVNNs) with time delays via the pinning control method. Different from general control schemes, the pinning control is beneficial to reduce the control cost by pinning the fractional nodes instead of all ones. By separating the complex-valued system into two equivalent real-valued systems and employing the Lyapunov functional as well as some inequality techniques, the asymptotic synchronization criterion is given to guarantee the realization of synchronization of memristive CVNNs. Meanwhile, sufficient conditions for exponential synchronization of the considered systems is also proposed. Finally, the validity of our proposed results is verified by a numerical example.

Abstract
This paper focuses on Lagrange exponential stability and finite-time stabilization of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy memristive neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays (DFMNNs). By resorting to theories of differential inclusions and the comparison strategy, an algebraic condition is developed to confirm Lagrange exponential stability of the underlying DFMNNs in Filippov's sense, and the exponentially attractive set is estimated. When external input is not considered, global exponential stability of DFMNNs is derived directly, which includes some existing ones as special cases. Furthermore, finite-time stabilization of the addressed DFMNNs is analyzed by exploiting inequality techniques and the comparison approach via designing a nonlinear state feedback controller. The boundedness assumption of activation functions is removed herein. Finally, two simulations are presented to demonstrate the validness of the outcomes, and an application is performed in pseudorandom number generation.

Abstract
This paper studies the fixed-time anti-synchronization (FTAS) of discontinuous reaction-diffusion neural networks (DRDNNs) with both time-varying coefficients and time delay. First, differential inclusion theory is used to deal with the influence caused by discontinuous activations. In addition, a new fixed-time convergence theorem is used to handle the time-varying coefficients. Second, a novel state-feedback control algorithm and integral state-feedback control algorithm are proposed to realize FTAS of DRDNNs. During the generalized (adaptive) pinning control strategy, a guideline is proposed to select neurons to pin the designed controller. Furthermore, we present several criteria on FTAS by using the generalized Lyapunov function method. Different from the traditional Lyapunov function with negative definite derivative, the derivative of the Lyapunov function can be positive in this paper. Finally, we give two numerical simulations to substantiate the merits of the obtained results.

Abstract
This paper deals with the problem of distributed optimization of a multiagent system with network connectivity preservation. In order to realize cooperative interactions, a connected network is the prerequisite for high-quality information exchange among agents. However, sensing or communication capability is range-limited, so it is impractical to simply make an assumption that network connectivity is preserved by default. To address this concern, a class of generalized potentials including discontinuities caused by unexpected obstacles or noises are designed. For a class of quadratic cost functions, based on the potentials, a new distributed protocol is proposed to formally guarantee the network connectivity over time and to realize the state agreement in finite time while the sum of local functions known to individual agents is optimized. Since the right-hand side of the proposed protocol is discontinuous, some nonsmooth analysis tools are applied to analyze system performance. In some practical scenarios, where initial states are unavailable, a distributed protocol is further developed to realize the consensus in a prescribed finite time while solving the distributed optimization problem and maintaining network connectivity. Illustrative examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed protocols.

Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the global synchronization control problem for memristive neural networks (MNNs) with time-varying delay. A novel event-triggered controller is introduced with the linear diffusive term and discontinuous sign term. In order to greatly reduce the computation cost of the controller under certain event-triggering condition, two event-based control schemes are proposed with static event-triggering condition and dynamic event-triggering condition. Some sufficient conditions are derived by these control schemes to ensure the response MNN to be synchronized with the driving one. Furthermore, under certain event-triggering conditions, a positive lower bound is achieved for the interexecution time to guarantee that Zeno behavior cannot be executed. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to substantiate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.

Abstract
The synchronization problem of multiple/coupled reaction-diffusion neural networks with time-varying delays is investigated. Differing from the existing considerations, state delays among distinct neurons and coupling delays among different subnetworks are included in the proposed model, the assumptions posed on the arisen delays are very weak, time-varying, heterogeneous, even unbounded delays are permitted. To overcome the difficulties from this kind of delay as well as diffusion effects, a comparison-based approach is applied to this model and a series of algebraic criteria are successfully obtained to verify the global asymptotical synchronization. By specifying the existing delays, some M -matrix-based criteria are derived to justify the power-rate synchronization and exponential synchronization. In addition, new criterion on synchronization of general connected neural networks without diffusion effects is also given. Finally, two simulation examples are given to verify the effectiveness of the obtained theoretical results and provide a comparison with the existing criterion.

Abstract
This paper presents new theoretical results on the global synchronization of coupled fractional-order recurrent neural networks. Under the assumptions that the coupled fractional-order recurrent neural networks are sequentially connected in form of a single spanning tree or multiple spanning trees, two sets of sufficient conditions are derived for ascertaining the global synchronization by using the properties of Mittag-Leffler function and stochastic matrices. Compared with existing works, the results herein are applicable for fractional-order systems, which could be viewed as an extension of integer-order ones. Two numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and characteristics of the theoretical results.

Abstract
This brief investigates nonautonomous stochastic reaction-diffusion neural-network models with S-type distributed delays. First, the existence and uniqueness of mild solution are studied under the Lipschitz condition without the linear growth condition. Due to the existence of a nonautonomous reaction-diffusion term and the infinite dimensional Wiener process, the criteria for the well-posedness of the models are established based on the evolution system theory. Then, the S-type distributed delay, which is an infinite delay, is handled by the truncation method, and sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability are obtained by constructing a simple Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional candidate. Finally, neural-network examples and an illustrative example are given to show the applications of the obtained results.

Under the concept of drive-response, several sufficient conditions for guaranteeing the anti-synchronization are given by employing suitable Lyapunov functional and some inequality techniques. The proposed results of this paper are less conservative than existing literatures due to the characteristics of memristive complex-valued neural networks. Moreover, the proposed results are easy to be validated with the parameters of system itself. Abstract
This paper considers the tracking synchronization problem for a class of coupled reaction-diffusion neural networks (CRDNNs) with undirected topology. For the case where the tracking trajectory has identical individual dynamic as that of the network nodes, the edge-based and vertex-based adaptive strategies on coupling strengths as well as adaptive controllers, which demand merely the local neighbor information, are proposed to synchronize the CRDNNs to the tracking trajectory. To reduce the control costs, an adaptive pinning control technique is employed. For the case where the tracking trajectory has different individual dynamic from that of the network nodes, the vertex-based adaptive strategy is proposed to drive the synchronization error to a relatively small area, which is adjustable according to the parameters of the adaptive strategy. This kind of adaptive design can enhance the robustness of the network against the external disturbance posed on the tracking trajectory. The obtained theoretical results are verified by two representative examples.

Abstract
In this paper, the ψ -type stability and robustness of recurrent neural networks are investigated by using the differential inequality. By utilizing ψ -type functions combined with the inequality techniques, some sufficient conditions ensuring ψ -type stability and robustness are derived for linear neural networks with time-varying delays. Then, by choosing appropriate Lipschitz coefficient in subregion, some algebraic criteria of the multiple ψ -type stability and robust boundedness are established for the delayed neural networks with time-varying delays. For special cases, several criteria are also presented by selecting parameters with easy implementation. The derived results cover both ψ -type mono-stability and multiple ψ -type stability. In addition, these theoretical results contain exponential stability, polynomial stability, and μ -stability, and they also complement and extend some previous results. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.

Abstract
This paper is concerned with the distributed H∞ state estimation for a discrete-time target linear system over a filtering network with time-varying and switching topology and partial information exchange. Both filtering network topology switching and partial information exchange between filters are simultaneously considered in the filter design. The topology under consideration evolves not only over time but also by an event switch which is assumed to be subject to a nonhomogeneous Markov chain. The probability transition matrix of the nonhomogeneous Markov chain is time-varying. In the filter information exchange, partial state estimation information and channel noise are simultaneously considered. In order to design such a switching filtering network with partial information exchange, stochastic Markov stability theory is developed. The switching topology-dependent filters are derived to guarantee an optimal H∞ disturbance rejection attenuation level for the estimation disagreement of the filtering network. It is shown that the addressed H∞ state estimation problem is turned into a switching topology-dependent optimal problem. The distributed filtering problem with complete information exchanges from its neighbors is also investigated. An illustrative example is given to show the applicability of the obtained results.

Abstract
The asymptotic synchronization of coupled reaction-diffusion neural networks with proportional delay and Markovian switching topologies is considered in this brief where the diffusion space does not need to contain the origin. The main objectives of this brief are to save communication resources and to reduce the conservativeness of the obtained synchronization criteria, which are carried out from the following two aspects: 1) mode-dependent quantized control technique is designed to reduce control cost and save communication channels and 2) Wirtinger inequality is utilized to deal with the reaction-diffusion terms in a matrix form and reciprocally convex technique combined with new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is used to derive delay-dependent synchronization criteria. The obtained results are general and formulated by linear matrix inequalities. Moreover, combined with an optimal algorithm, control gains with the least magnitude are designed.
