Optimal Synchronization of Unidirectionally Coupled FO Chaotic Electromechanical Devices With the Hierarchical Neural Network

Dynamic Analysis and Neural-Adaptive Prescribed-Time Control of the FO Memristive Magnetic-Field Electromechanical Transducer

This article is concerned with dynamic analysis and neural-adaptive prescribed-time control of the magnetic-field electromechanical transducer incorporating a memristor. First, a fractional-order (FO) mathematical model is developed, which comprehensively characterizes fractional properties of various dielectrics and establishes the relationship between magnetic flux and electric charge. The dynamical analysis explores internal evolution and complexity performance concerning a single factor or double factors among the FO, system parameter, and memristor configuration by the Bifurcation diagram, sample entropy, and complexity from multiple perspectives. Subsequently, a neural-adaptive prescribed-time control scheme is proposed to transform detrimental chaotic oscillations into orderly motions, achieve the pregiven tracking precision and accommodating both actuator fault and system uncertainty. The controller design consists of three key steps: 1) a deferred constraint function is imposed on the tracking error starting from anywhere to get assignable tracking precision within a specified time, ensuring collision avoidance; 2) a type-2 fuzzy wavelet neural network (FWNN) is utilized effectively to handle parameter perturbations and system uncertainties; and 3) a second-order FO tracking differentiator (TD) is utilized to address the "explosion of complexity" of traditional backstepping under actuator fault model. It is shown that the proposed scheme is able to ensure the boundness of all signals of the closed-loop system. Finally, extensive simulation experiments are conducted to validate the effectiveness and robustness of the rendered scheme.

Evolutionary Dynamics Optimal Research-Oriented Tumor Immunity Architecture

The article is devoted to evolutionary dynamics optimal control-oriented tumor immune differential game system. First, the mathematical model covering immune cells and tumor cells considering the effects of chemotherapy drugs and immune agents. Second, the bounded optimal control problem covering is transformed into solving Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equation considering the actual constraints and infinite-horizon performance index based on minimizing the amount of medication administered. Finally, approximate optimal control strategy is acquired through iterative-dual heuristic dynamic programming (I-DHP) algorithm avoiding dimensional disaster effectively and providing optimal treatment scheme for clinical applications.

Optimal Spin Polarization Control for the Spin-Exchange Relaxation-Free System Using Adaptive Dynamic Programming

This work is the first to solve the 3-D spin polarization control (3DSPC) problem of atomic ensembles, which controls the spin polarization to achieve arbitrary states with the cooperation of multiphysics fields. First, a novel adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) structure is proposed based on the developed multicritic multiaction neural network (MCMANN) structure with nonquadratic performance functions, as a way to solve the multiplayer nonzero-sum game (MP-NZSG) problem in 3DSPC under the constraints of asymmetric saturation inputs. Then, we utilize the MCMANNs to implement the multicritic multiaction ADP (MCMA-ADP) algorithm, whose convergence is proven by the compression mapping principle. Finally, the MCMA-ADP is deployed in the spin-exchange relaxation-free (SERF) system to provide a set of control laws in 3DSPC that fully exploits the multiphysics fields to achieve arbitrary spin polarization states. Numerical simulations support the theoretical results.

Command filter-based event-triggered control for stochastic MEMS gyroscopes with finite-time prescribed performance

This paper proposes an adaptive neural control strategy for stochastic microelectromechanical system (MEMS) gyroscopes, aiming to achieve a prescribed performance in a finite time. The radial basis function neural network is introduced to address the system's unknown nonlinear dynamics and stochastic disturbances. Then, the technology of finite-time prescribed performance function, along with the method of command-filtered backstepping design, is utilized to ensure both transient and steady-state performance and simultaneously solve the problem of "explosion of complexity." Moreover, a switching threshold event-triggered control law is proposed to cut down on communication resources and eliminate corresponding parametric inequality restrictions. The proposed adaptive state feedback control strategy is able to guarantee that the output tracking error converges to a prescribed, arbitrarily small residual set. Additionally, the closed-loop system's signals can be semi-globally ultimately uniformly bounded in probability. Finally, numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed strategy.
