Abstract
To the best of the author's knowledge, studies of mature plasmacytoid dendritic cell proliferation associated with T lymphoblastic lymphoma were extremely rare in the literature. Here, we report a patient who underwent both mature plasmacytoid dendritic cell proliferation and T lymphoblastic lymphoma. With the findings of lymph node biopsy taken from the right cervical and inguinal regions, we identified eye-catching mature plasmacytoid dendritic cells that were considered to be responsible for this lesion at the beginning, until the immunostaining of Ki67 and TDT showed a small group of positive cells hiding in these plasmacytoid dendritic cells. A bone marrow biopsy was also performed on this patient. Microscopically, the hematopoietic tissue was almost completely replaced by lymphoblastoid cells with condensed chromatin, inconspicuous nucleoli and scanty cytoplasm, which were basically the same as those seen in the lymph nodes in morphology. However, there was no sign of plasmacytoid dendritic cells or Langerhans cells in the bone marrow biopsy. With the help of bone marrow biopsy, our final diagnosis of the lymph node was T lymphoblastic lymphoma coexisting with mature plasmacytoid dendritic cell proliferation. Although accumulations of plasmacytoid dendritic cells may occur in some infections or reactive lymphadenopathy, the presence of extensive nodules or infiltration of plasmacytoid dendritic cells strongly reminds the pathologist to carefully evaluate the bone marrow or peripheral blood status of the patient to exclude a hidden myeloid or other neoplasm.

Abstract
Generalised eruptive histiocytosis is a rare proliferative disease that typically presents with indolent cutaneous eruptions. We describe the case of a 73-year-old man presenting with diffuse, asymptomatic crops of pink to dusky red papules preceded by general malaise, myalgias, fluctuating fever, chills, and weight loss. Histological evaluation revealed a non-Langerhans cell histiocytic dermal infiltrate with spindle cell features and chronic inflammation, reactive for CD68 and negative for both S100 and CD1a. Malignancy screening was negative. This report aims to highlight a unique presentation of generalised eruptive histiocytosis, emphasise histological findings, and discuss considerations for malignancy screening.

Abstract
Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) is a clonal hematopoietic stem cell malignancy with features of both a myeloproliferative neoplasm and a myelodysplastic syndrome. We present a case of 72-year-old man with CMML who presented with generalized hemorrhagic papules and plaques which on histopathology showed a peculiar infiltrate of atypical mature histiocytes. The immunohistochemical markers for Langerhans cells, indeterminate dendritic cells, and plasmacytoid dendritic cells were negative. Next generation sequencing performed on the paraffin block of the leg biopsy specimen revealed identical ASXL1, SRSF2, and KRAS mutations as seen in the CMML clone of the peripheral blood. Along with recent literature, this case illustrates the spectrum of histiocytic and dendritic cell proliferations in CMML, many of which may be clonally related to the hematopoietic malignancy.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Histiocytoses are haematological disorders of bone marrow origin that share many biological and clinical features with haematological neoplasms. The association between histiocytoses of the cutaneous-group and myeloid malignancies is a poorly investigated topic of high biological and clinical impact. METHODS We performed a systematic review of the scientific literature, compliant with PRISMA guidelines, to unravel the clinical and pathological features of this intriguing association. FINDINGS We gathered and analysed 102 patients. Most were children with generalised cutaneous eruptions and displayed risk organ involvement (i.e. bone marrow, spleen, liver). Interestingly, all these features are uncommonly encountered in C-group histiocytosis not associated with haematological neoplasms. CONCLUSIONS Our review shows that generalised eruptions and risk organ involvement in cutaneous-group histiocytosis should raise a suspicion for a concomitant myeloid neoplasm both in children and in adults and warrant further investigations. A rapid recognition of this association is required to start a prompt and effective therapeutic management given the aggressive behaviour of the associated myeloid neoplasm in most instances.

Abstract
Reticulohistiocytoses (RH) are rare and clinically heterogeneous histiocytic disorders of dermatological interest. Three clinical entities with superimposable histopathological features are currently considered, namely solitary reticulohistiocytoma, diffuse/generalized reticulohistiocytosis and multicentric reticulohistiocytosis. Although in the last decade, RH studies have only minimally progressed, histiocytosis research has advanced considerably: the prognostic and therapeutic importance of the clinical subclassification of histiocytosis patients as well as of the detection of genetic alterations in the genes of the ERK pathway has been highlighted. According to these insights, we previously reported the presence of molecular alteration RH and described a subset of patients with disseminated multisystem involvement lacking arthritis. In the present review, we aim to update and revise the knowledge regarding RH. We first reviewed their histopathological, immunophenotypical and ultrastructural features, discussed their histopathological differential diagnosis with other conditions characterized by infiltrates made of oncocytic or epithelioid cells (with special regard to Destombes-Rosai-Dorfman disease) and finally summarized the molecular landscape of RH. We therefore tried to adjust the clinical subclassification of Langerhans cell histiocytosis to the clinical phenotypes of RH, outlining five clinically different groups of patients. Finally, we reconsidered the clinical workflow to the evaluation of RH patients, in light of the 5 different clinical groups and discussed the different therapeutic approaches and the possible role of target inhibitors.
