Abstract
Background The Healthy Men, Health Communities program aims to improve preventive behaviors among African American men to reduce HPV-related cancer disparities. Purpose We describe the development of an educational intervention using cultural-targeting strategies (i.e., linguistics, peripherals, evidence, socio-culture, and constituent-involving). Methods After building capacity of community-based organization (CBO) leaders as research team members, we conducted 3 focus groups, 30 surveys, and a community review and program evaluation with African American men. Results Focus group themes were: 1) The Known and Unknown of Cancer, HPV, and the vaccine; (2) Personal experiences with cancer were commonplace; (3) Barriers to Engaging HPV Cancer Preventive Behaviors; (4) Multi-Modal Strategies are needed to improve preventive behaviors; and (5) Actual versus Preferred Sources of Information. Survey data indicated men desired information on penile (52%) and oral cancers (48%). The preferred education format was a summit with speakers on various topics (96%). Post-summit evaluation indicated majority of males intended to get screened (73%), eat healthier (77%), and exercise more (64%). About 40% reported getting themselves, children, or grandchildren the HPV vaccine. Discussion Our program demonstrated acceptability, feasibility, and preliminary efficacy. This work warrants further study as a potential program to improve HPV preventive behaviors among African American men.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Condyloma acuminata (CA) of the urethra presents a management challenge due to high recurrence rates, difficulty in accessing urethral lesions, risk of stricture formation, and potential for sexual dysfunction. While standard treatment modalities are acceptable for some external genital condyloma, they are not always feasible or appropriate for urethral lesions. OBJECTIVES We sought to review the literature on epidemiology, presentation, diagnosis and treatment of urothelial CA with a focus on surgical treatment options. METHODS We performed a comprehensive literature search of PubMed to identify all studies pertaining to urethral CA through November 2020. RESULTS Urethral CA is a relatively rare, but challenging disease to manage with a considerable amount of treatment side effects and downstream morbidity associated. In our comprehensive review we have found a wide selection of treatment modalities ranging from minimally invasive strategies to surgical reconstructive techniques. Proper follow-up to monitor for disease recurrence at the 3-4 month mark is appropriate and will determine subsequent treatment strategies as needed. Future studies and treatment directions include novel drug delivery models to optimize minimally invasive topical drug efficacy. CONCLUSION Treatment of urethral CA should be approached in a step-wise fashion. Medical therapy would be an appropriate option for asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic patients with small lesions who desire to avoid any interventions. If patient is symptomatic, has extensive disease burden or has failed medical therapy intervention should be considered with options including PDT, laser ablation or surgical excision with or without urethral reconstruction. Abstract
Men who have sex with men (MSM) are at increased risk of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection because of their high-risk sexual behaviours. In this study, a meta-analytic approach was used to systematically analyse the literature to elucidate the prevalence and genotype distribution of anal, penile, oral and urethral HPV infection among MSM in the world. To carry out this systematic review, five electronic databases including Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus, Embase, and Google Scholar were searched for relevant studies published from January 2012 to November 2019, and pertinent data were collected from the eligible articles. The pooled HPV prevalence was calculated for each anatomical region using a random-effect model weighted by the inverse variance method. The meta-analysis was performed using the "Metaprop" function in the R package Meta. The overall pooled prevalence of anal, penile, oral and urethral HPV infection among MSM were 78.4% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 75.6%-81.0%), 36.2% (95% CI: 29.1%-44.0%), 17.3% (95% CI: 13.6%-21.7%) and 15.4% (95% CI: 7.8%-27.9%), respectively. Stratified analyses showed that the prevalences of HPV were significantly higher in HIV-positive than HIV-negative MSM. The most frequent HPV high-risk type detected in the anus, penis and oral cavity was HPV-16 (19.9%, 4.9% and 3.1%, respectively). HPV infection is rising in MSM because of high-risk sexual behaviours, suggesting an increased future risk of developing HPV-related diseases and malignancies in this population.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Young men who have sex with men (YMSM) are at high risk to contract human papillomavirus (HPV). While an effective vaccination exists, its use among YMSM is markedly lower compared to non-MSM and women. This study compares scaling up HPV vaccination in conjunction with other prevention strategies. METHODS An agent-based model of urban YMSM (≤26 years of age) reflective of the demography of Philadelphia, PA, simulated for up to ten years of follow-up to examine anal and oral transmission of the HPV genotypes covered in the nonavalent (9v) vaccine: 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, 58. Starting HPV prevalences ranged from a high of 18% (type 6) to a low of 6% (type 31); overall 65% of individuals carried any HPV genotype. Simulated levels of vaccination were ranged from 0% to 13% (present-day level), 25%, 50%, 80% (Healthy People 2020 target), and 100% in conjunction with condom use and HIV seroadaptive practices. The primary outcome was the relative reduction in HPV infection. RESULTS Compared to present-day vaccination levels (13%), scaling-up vaccination led to expected declines in 10-year post-simulation HPV prevalence. Anal HPV (any 9v types) declined by 9%, 27%, 46%, and 58% at vaccination levels of 25%, 50%, 80%, and 100%, respectively. Similarly, oral HPV (any 9v types) declined by 11%, 33%, 57%, and 71% across the same levels of vaccine uptake. Comparing the prevention strategies, condoms blocked the greatest number of anal transmissions when vaccination was at or below present-day levels. For oral transmission, vaccination was superior to condom use at all levels of coverage. CONCLUSIONS Public health HPV preventions strategies should continue to emphasize the complementary roles of condoms and vaccination, especially for preventing oral infection. Improving vaccination coverage will ultimately have the greatest impact on reducing HPV infection among YMSM.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Research suggests that girls from ethnic minority groups are less likely to receive the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination than white British girls; however, the specific ethnic minority groups that have lower uptake have not been identified. This study aimed to examine the relationship between school-level uptake and ethnicity as well as uptake and other ethnicity-related factors, to understand which specific groups are less likely to receive the vaccination. METHODS Aggregated uptake rates from 195 schools were obtained for each of the three recommended vaccine doses from 2008 to 2010. Census data at the lower super output area (LSOA) level for the postcode of each school were also obtained, describing the ethnic breakdown of the resident population (ethnicity, language spoken, religion, proficiency in English and duration of residency in the UK). These were used as proxy measures of the ethnic make-up of the schools. The most prevalent non-majority group for each ethnicity and ethnicity-related factor was assigned to each school. Analyses explored differences in uptake by ethnicity and ethnicity-related factors. RESULTS No significant differences in vaccination uptake were found by ethnicity or ethnicity-related factors, although descriptive differences were apparent. Schools in areas where black ethnicities were the most prevalent non-white British ethnicities had consistently low rates of uptake for all doses. Schools in areas where some Asian ethnicities were the most prevalent non-white British ethnicities had consistently high rates of uptake for all doses. There was evidence of variability in mean uptake rates for ethnicities within 'black' and 'Asian' ethnic groups. CONCLUSIONS Future research would benefit from focusing on specific ethnicities rather than broad ethnic categories. Replication of this study with a larger sample and using complete individual-level data, collected on a national level, would provide a clearer indication of where ethnic differences in HPV vaccination uptake exist.

Abstract
Condyloma acuminata are the most frequent cause of infections in the anal genital area. They are caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). Risk factors are early onset of sexual activity, multiple sexual partners, a history of sexually transmitted disease, and immunosuppression. The urethra is afflicted in only 20% of cases; of these, 80% of the warts are at the meatus and 20% in the proximal urethra. This article reports on two cases with condyloma acuminata affection of the total urethra. The current diagnostic, different treatment modalities, and prophylaxis are reviewed.

Abstract
BACKGROUND National coverage for the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine falls short of the targeted goals for Healthy People 2020 with disparities in completion rates noted in minority adolescent female populations. The purpose of this study was to provide a review of the literature on HPV vaccination uptake and completion rates among female minority adolescents as well as a discussion of the financial and policy dimensions of HPV vaccination with implications that impact uptake and completion rates. METHODS By reviewing the literature, the authors show that the two human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix, have presented unprecedented opportunities to prevent morbidity and mortality from cervical cancer. CONCLUSION The authors recommend that nurses and advanced practice nurses take an active role at the point of care to educate families about HPV vaccination. Nursing interventions for practice changes are provided to improve vaccination initiation and completion rates in disadvantaged populations.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This cross-sectional study assess knowledge, attitudes, and behavior towards the human papillomavirus (HPV) and the vaccination among a random sample of 1000 lesbian, gay men, and bisexual women and men. METHODS A face-to-face interview sought information about: socio-demographic characteristics, knowledge about HPV infection, perception of risk towards HPV infection and/or cervical, anal, and oropharyngeal cancers, perception of the benefits of a vaccination to prevent cervical, anal, and oropharyngeal cancers, sexual behaviors, health-promoting behaviors, and willingness to receive the HPV vaccine. RESULTS Only 60.6% had heard about the HPV infection and this knowledge was significantly higher in female, in those being a member of a homosexual association, in those having had the first sexual experience at a younger age, in those having received information about the HPV infection from physicians, and in those having no need of information about HPV infection. A higher perceived risk of contracting HPV infection has been observed in those younger, lesbian and gay men, who have heard of HPV infection and knew the risk factors and its related diseases, who have received information about HPV infection from physicians, and who need information about HPV infection. Only 1.7% have undergone HPV immunization and 73.3% professed intent to obtain it in the future. The significant predictors of the willingness to receive this vaccine were belief that the vaccination is useful, perception to be at higher risk of contracting HPV infection, and perception to be at higher risk of developing cervical, anal, and oropharyngeal cancers. CONCLUSIONS Information and interventions are strongly needed in order to overcome the lack of knowledge about HPV infection and its vaccination. Inclusion of boys in the national vaccination program and initiate a catch-up program for men who have sex with men up to 26 years may reduce their burden of HPV-related disease.
