Abstract
Purpose To investigate the prognostic value of computed tomography (CT) derived imaging biomarkers in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) recurrence after liver transplantation (LT) and develop a predictive nomogram model. Patients and Methods This retrospective study included 178 patients with histopathologically confirmed HCC who underwent liver transplantation between 2007 and 2021 at the two academic liver centers. We evaluated dedicated imaging features from baseline multiphase contrast-enhanced CT supplemented by several clinical findings and laboratory parameters. Time-to-recurrence was estimated by Kaplan-Meier analysis. Univariable Cox proportional hazard regression and multivariable Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (LASSO) regression were used to assess independent prognostic factors for recurrence. A nomogram model was then built based on the independent factors selected through LASSO regression, to predict the probabilities of HCC recurrence at one, three, and five years. Results The rate of HCC recurrence after LT was 17.4% (31 of 178). The LASSO analysis revealed six independent predictors associated with an elevated risk of tumor recurrence. These predictors included the presence of peritumoral enhancement, the presence of over three tumor lesions, the largest tumor diameter greater than 3 cm, serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) levels exceeding 400 ng/mL, and the presence of a tumor capsule. Conversely, a history of bridging therapies was found to be correlated with a reduced risk of HCC recurrence. In addition, Kaplan-Meier curves showed patients with irregular margin, satellite nodules, or small lesions displayed shorter time-to-recurrence. Our nomogram demonstrated good performance, yielding a C-index of 0.835 and AUC values of 0.86, 0.88, and 0.85 for the predictions of 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year TTR, respectively. Conclusion Imaging parameters derived from baseline contrast-enhanced CT showing malignant behavior and aggressive growth patterns, along with serum AFP and history of bridging therapies, show potential as biomarkers for predicting HCC recurrence after transplantation.

Abstract
The cross-sectional imaging findings play a crucial role in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Recent studies have shown that imaging findings of HCC are not only relevant for the diagnosis of HCC, but also for identifying genetic and pathologic characteristics and determining prognosis. Imaging findings such as rim arterial phase hyperenhancement, arterial phase peritumoral hyperenhancement, hepatobiliary phase peritumoral hypointensity, non-smooth tumor margin, low apparent diffusion coefficient, and the LR-M category of the Liver Imaging-Reporting and Data System have been reported to be associated with poor prognosis. In contrast, imaging findings such as enhancing capsule appearance, hepatobiliary phase hyperintensity, and fat in mass have been reported to be associated with a favorable prognosis. Most of these imaging findings were examined in retrospective, single-center studies that were not adequately validated. However, the imaging findings can be applied for deciding the treatment strategy for HCC, if their significance can be confirmed by a large multicenter study. In this literature, we would like to review imaging findings related to the prognosis of HCC as well as their associated clinicopathological characteristics.

Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fourth most lethal malignancy with an increasing incidence worldwide. Management of HCC has followed several clinical staging systems that rely on tumour morphologic characteristics and clinical variables. However, these algorithms are unlikely to profile the full landscape of tumour aggressiveness and allow accurate prognosis stratification. Noninvasive imaging biomarkers on computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exhibit a promising prospect to refine the prognostication of HCC. The Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System (LI-RADS) is a comprehensive system for standardizing the terminology, techniques, interpretation, reporting and data collection of liver imaging. At present, it has been widely accepted as an effective diagnostic system for HCC in at-risk patients. Emerging data have provided new insights into the potential of CT/MRI LI-RADS in HCC prognostication, which may help refine the prognostic paradigm of HCC that promises to direct individualized management and improve patient outcomes. Therefore, this review aims to summarize several prognostic imaging features at CT/MRI for patients with HCC; the available evidence regarding the use of LI-RDAS for evaluation of tumour biology and clinical outcomes, pitfalls of current literature, and future directions for LI-RADS in the management of HCC.

Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the sixth most common malignancy worldwide and the fourth cause of tumor-related death. Imaging biomarkers are based on computed tomography, magnetic resonance, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and are widely applied in HCC diagnosis and treatment monitoring. Unfortunately, in the field of molecular biomarkers, alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is still the only recognized tool for HCC surveillance in both diagnostic and follow-up purposes. Other molecular biomarkers have little roles in clinical practice regarding HCC, mainly for the detection of early-stage HCC, monitoring the response to treatments and analyzing tumor prognosis. In the last decades no important improvements have been achieved in this field and imaging biomarkers maintain the primacy in HCC diagnosis and follow-up. Despite the still inconsistent role of molecular biomarkers in surveillance and early HCC detection, they could play an outstanding role in prognosis estimation and treatment monitoring with a potential reduction in health costs faced by standard radiology. An important challenge resides in identifying sufficiently sensitive and specific biomarkers for advanced HCC for prognostic evaluation and detection of tumor progression, overcoming imaging biomarker sensitivity. The aim of this review is to analyze the current molecular and imaging biomarkers in advanced HCC.

Abstract
Objective To explore the prognostic value of radiological features and serum indicators in patients treated with postoperative adjuvant transarterial chemoembolization (PA-TACE) and develop a prognostic model to predict the overall survival (OS) of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with PA-TACE. Method We enrolled 112 patients (75 in the training cohort and 37 in the validation cohort) with HCC treated with PA-TACE after surgical resection at the Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University between January 2012 and June 2015. The independent OS predictors were determined using univariate and multivariate regression analyses. Decision curve analyses and time-dependent receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was used to verify the prognostic performance of the different models; the best model was selected to establish a multi-dimensional nomogram for predicting the OS of HCC patients treated with PA-TACE. Result Multivariate regression analyses indicated that rim-like arterial phase enhancement (IRE), peritumor capsule (PTC), and alanine aminotransferase to hemoglobin ratio (AHR) were independent predictors of OS after PA-TACE. The combination of AHR had the best clinical net benefit and we constructed a prognostic nomogram based on IRE, PTC, and AHR. The calibration curve showed good fit between the predicted nomogram’s curve and the observed curve. Conclusion Our preliminary study confirmed the prognostic value of AHR, PTC, and IRE and established a nomogram that can predict the OS after PA-TACE treatment in patients with HCC.

Abstract
Purpose To identify prognostic clinical and radiologic features in patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with atezolizumab plus bevacizumab. Patients and Methods Clinical and imaging records of patients with unresectable HCC were retrospectively reviewed, and baseline features were recorded. Patients’ records and imaging studies were used to determine the patients’ overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS). Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to determine prognostic features. Subanalyses of treatment-naïve patients (who never received local or systemic therapy) and previously treated patients were also performed. Results Fifty-five patients were included in the final analysis, 23 (41.8%) of whom were treatment naïve. The median PFS and OS for the entire cohort were 3.0 months and 7.9 months. The 3-, 6- and 12-month OS rates were 85.5%, 79.8% and 45.7%, respectively. The 3-, 6- and 12-month PFS rates were 50.1%, 41.2% and 20.1%, respectively. On multivariate analysis, independent prognostic features for poor PFS of the entire cohort were pleural effusions (p = 0.047, HR: 6.3; CI: 1.03–38.90) and hepatic vein tumor thrombus (p = 0.005; HR: 23.37; CI: 2.63–207.67); independent prognostic features for poor OS were ascites (p = 0.008; HR: 37.37; CI: 2.53–467.64), pleural effusion (p = 0.003; HR: 110.17; CI: 5.00–2426.54), and low (<40HU) pre-contrast attenuation on CT images (p = 0.007; HR: 0.09; CI: 0.02–0.53). On subanalysis of treatment-naïve patients, the median OS and PFS were 7.4 months and 2.8 months, respectively. The 3-, 6- and 12-month PFS rates were 43.5%, 38.6% and 24.8%, respectively. Pleural effusion was the only independent poor prognostic feature (p = 0.036; HR: 206.34; CI: 1.41–30,167.58). Conclusion Independent prognostic features for survival outcomes include the presence of ascites, pleural effusions, hepatic vein tumor thrombus, and HCC with low attenuation (<40 HU) on unenhanced CT images. Although several biochemical variables were significant on univariate analysis, none were independent predictors of OS or PFS.

Abstract
Aims To investigate the prognostic value of baseline imaging features for overall survival (OS) and liver decompensation (LD) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Design Patients with advanced HCC from the SORAMIC trial were evaluated in this post hoc analysis. Several radiological imaging features were collected from baseline computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) imaging, besides clinical values. The prognostic value of these features for OS and LD (grade 2 bilirubin increase) was quantified with univariate Cox proportional hazard models and multivariate Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (LASSO) regression. Results Three hundred and seventy-six patients were included in this study. The treatment arm was not correlated with OS. LASSO showed satellite lesions, atypical HCC, peritumoral arterial enhancement, larger tumour size, higher albumin–bilirubin (ALBI) score, liver–spleen ratio <1.5, ascites, pleural effusion and higher bilirubin values were predictors of worse OS, and higher relative liver enhancement, smooth margin and capsule were associated with better OS. LASSO analysis for LD showed satellite lesions, peritumoral hypointensity in hepatobiliary phase, high ALBI score, higher bilirubin values and ascites were predictors of LD, while randomisation to sorafenib arm was associated with lower LD. Conclusions Imaging features showing aggressive tumour biology and poor liver function, in addition to clinical parameters, can serve as imaging biomarkers for OS and LD in patients receiving sorafenib and selective internal radiation therapy for HCC.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study was designed to investigate the association between Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System (LI-RADS) category and recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after primary liver transplantation (LT) within the Milan criteria. METHODS This multicenter, retrospective study included 140 recipients who underwent living donor LT (LDLT) for treatment-naïve HCC and pretransplant contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) between 2009 and 2013. LI-RADS categories were assigned using LI-RADS version 2018. Recurrence-free survival (RFS) and associated factors were evaluated using Cox proportional hazards regression analysis, Kaplan-Meier analysis, and log-rank test. Histological grading and microvascular invasion (MVI) were analyzed on the pathologic examinations of explanted livers. RESULTS The overall 1-, 3-, 5-, and 7-year RFS rates were 95.6%, 92.6%, 90.2%, and 89.3%, respectively. In the multivariable analysis, independent predictors of recurrence included HCCs categorized as LR-M (hazard ratio [HR], 18.68; 95% confidence interval [CI], 5.79-60.23; P < 0.001) and the largest tumor size of ≥ 3 cm on MRI (HR, 4.18; 95% CI, 1.42-12.37; P = 0.010). The 5-year RFS rate was significantly lower in patients with HCCs categorized as LR-M than in those with HCCs categorized as LR-5 or 4 (LR-5/4) (36.9% vs. 95.8%, respectively; P < 0.001). HCCs categorized as LR-M exhibited significantly more MVI than HCCs categorized as LR-5/4 (57.1% vs. 17.5%, respectively; P = 0.002). CONCLUSIONS Patients with HCCs categorized as LR-M using LI-RADS version 2018 may have a worse prognosis after primary LT within the Milan criteria than those with HCCs categorized as LR-5/4.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) receiving different treatments might have specific prognostic factors that can be captured in the hepatobiliary phase (HBP) of gadoxetic acid-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (GA-MRI). We aimed to identify the clinical findings and HBP features with prognostic value in patients with HCC. METHODS In this retrospective, single-institution study, we included patients with Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer very early/early stage HCC who underwent GA-MRI before treatment. After performing propensity score matching, 183 patients received the following treatments: resection, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) (n = 61 for each). Cox regression models were used to identify clinical factors and HBP features associated with disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS). RESULTS In the resection group, large tumor size was associated with poor DFS (hazard ratio [HR] 4.159 per centimeter; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.669-10.365) and poor OS (HR 8.498 per centimeter; 95% CI, 1.072-67.338). In the RFA group, satellite nodules on HBP images were associated with poor DFS (HR 5.037; 95% CI, 1.061-23.903) and poor OS (HR 9.398; 95% CI, 1.480-59.668). Peritumoral hypointensity on HBP images was also associated with poor OS (HR 13.062; 95% CI, 1.627-104.840). In addition, serum albumin levels and the prothrombin time-international normalized ratio were associated with DFS and/or OS. Finally, in the TACE group, no variables were associated with DFS/OS. CONCLUSIONS Different HBP features and clinical factors were associated with DFS/OS among patients with HCC receiving different treatments. KEY POINTS • In patients who underwent resection for HCC, a large tumor size on HBP images was associated with poor disease-free survival and overall survival. • In the RFA group, satellite nodules and peritumoral hypointensity on HBP images, along with decreased serum albumin levels and PT-INR, were associated with poor disease-free survival and/or overall survival. • In the TACE group, no clinical or HBP imaging features were associated with disease-free survival or overall survival.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Due to heterogeneity of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), outcome assessment of HCC with transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is challenging. METHODS We built histologic-related scores to determine microvascular invasion (MVI) and Edmondson-Steiner grade by training CT radiomics features using machine learning classifiers in a cohort of 494 HCCs with hepatic resection. Meanwhile, we developed a deep learning (DL)-score for disease-specific survival by training CT imaging using DL networks in a cohort of 243 HCCs with TACE. Then, three newly built imaging hallmarks with clinicoradiologic factors were analyzed with a Cox-Proportional Hazard (Cox-PH) model. FINDINGS In HCCs with hepatic resection, two imaging hallmarks resulted in areas under the curve (AUCs) of 0.79 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.71-0.85) and 0.72 (95% CI: 0.64-0.79) for predicting MVI and Edmondson-Steiner grade, respectively, using test data. In HCCs with TACE, higher DL-score (hazard ratio [HR]: 3.01; 95% CI: 2.02-4.50), American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) stage III+IV (HR: 1.71; 95% CI: 1.12-2.61), Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) with stable disease + progressive disease (HR: 2.72; 95% CI: 1.84-4.01), and TACE-course > 3 (HR: 0.65; 95% CI: 0.45-0.76) were independent prognostic factors. Using these factors via a Cox-PH model resulted in a concordance index of 0.73 (95% CI: 0.71-0.76) for predicting overall survival and AUCs of 0.85 (95% CI: 0.81-0.89), 0.90 (95% CI: 0.86-0.94), and 0.89 (95% CI: 0.84-0.92), respectively, for predicting 3-year, 5-year, and 10-year survival. INTERPRETATION Our study offers a DL-based, noninvasive imaging hallmark to predict outcome of HCCs with TACE. Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIMS The purpose of our study was to examine the histopathologic characteristics of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with irregular rim-like arterial phase enhancement (IRE), which has been reported to be associated with more aggressive tumor behavior. METHODS We investigated 84 pathologically confirmed HCCs in 84 patients who underwent curative hepatic resection after gadoxetate-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging between January 2008 and February 2013. Two abdominal radiologists independently reviewed these images and classified HCCs into two categories: HCC showing IRE (IRE-HCC) and HCC showing hypoenhancement or diffuse arterial enhancement (non-IRE-HCC). Twenty-two HCCs were classified as IRE-HCCs, and 51 were classified as non-IRE-HCCs concordantly by both reviewers. The remaining 11 HCCs, on whose radiologic classifications the reviewers disagreed, were classified as HCCs with intermediate enhancement patterns. The HCC clinicopathologic characteristics and patient outcomes were then compared. RESULTS IRE-HCCs showed more frequent microvascular invasion (91 vs. 35%), lower microvascular density (246.5 vs. 426.5/mm2), higher proportions of sinusoid-like microvascular pattern (55 vs. 0%) and macrotrabecular pattern (45 vs. 0%), and larger areas of tumor necrosis (15 vs. 0%) and fibrous stroma (8.3 vs. 2.1%) than non-IRE-HCCs. IRE-HCCs also expressed higher levels of immunomarkers of hypoxia (carbonic anhydrase IX, 64 vs. 8%) and stemness (EpCAM, 50 vs. 20%). p values were < 0.001 for all comparisons except for EpCAM (p = 0.026). HCCs with intermediate enhancement patterns showed mixed/intermediate pathologic features from both IRE- and non-IRE-HCCs. IRE-HCC patients showed poorer 5-year disease-free survival after curative resection than non-IRE-HCC patients (p = 0.005). CONCLUSIONS IRE-HCCs demonstrate aggressive histopathologic features, including more hypoxic and fibrotic tumor microenvironments and increased stemness, compared to non-IRE-HCCs. IRE might therefore serve as a noninvasive imaging biomarker for aggressive HCC.

Abstract
We discuss various imaging features that have been reported to be associated with the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) but not included in the current staging systems: findings related with microvascular invasion, tumor encapsulation, intratumoral fat, presence of satellite nodules, peritumoral hypointensity on hepatobiliary phase images of gadoxetic-acid enhanced MRI, restricted diffusion, and irregular rim-like hyperenhancement. Current evidence suggests that larger (> 2 cm) tumor size, presence of satellite nodules, presence of irregular rim-like hyperenhancement of a tumor, peritumoral parenchymal enhancement in the arterial phase, and peritumoral hypointensity observed on hepatobiliary phase images are independent imaging features to portend a worse prognosis in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Survival advantage following trans-arterial chemoembolization (TACE) is variable in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). We combined pre-TACE radiologic features to derive a novel prognostic signature in HCC. METHODS A multi-institutional dataset of 98 patients was generated from two retrospective cohorts from United Kingdom (65%) and Italy (36%). The prognostic impact of a number baseline imaging parameters was assessed and factors significant on univariate analysis were combined to create a novel radiologic signature on multivariable analyses predictive of overall survival (OS) following TACE. RESULTS Median OS was 15.4 months. Tumour size > 7 cm (p < 0.001), intra-tumour necrosis (ITN) (p = 0.02) and arterial ectatic neovascularisation (AEN) (p = 0.03) emerged as individual prognostic factors together with radiologic response (p < 0.001) and elevated alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) (p = 0.01). Combination of tumour size > 7 cm, ITN and AEN identified patients with poor prognosis (p < 0.001). CONCLUSIONS We identified a coherent signature based on commonly available imaging biomarkers likely to be reflective of differential patterns of relative hypoxia and neovascularisation. Large tumours displaying AEN and ITN are characterised by a shorter survival after TACE.

Abstract
Current methods for HCC diagnosis have not an optimal diagnostic accuracy. The detection of more than one biomarker seems to improve their individual performance and provide an accurate HCC diagnosis approach. Individual gene expression seems to influence whether or not the treatment is successful, since several molecules have interfere with cancer associated pathways and have been related to poor prognosis which condition the lack of effective treatment options. Areas covered: Novel biomarkers have been proposed as a useful tool in each patient prognosis. This article aims to review the recent evidence based on HCC biomarkers which seems to have a regulative role according to tumor cell development leading to a specific biological response. Epigenetic regulation, miRNAs, and genome sequencing analysis propose molecular expression signatures as novel biomarkers which allowed achieve the major goal for the use of biomarkers in clinical practice. Moreover, a deeper analysis for determine the diagnostic accuracy of biomarkers has been made. Expert commentary: To improve of methodological designs and sample sizes are needed in order to support the role of biomarkers in HCC. Furthermore, is necessary to consider HCC etiologies and all clinic disease context to carried out clinical phase studies to thrust biomarkers application.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the utility of MRI findings after drug-eluting beads (DEB) - transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) for hepatocellular carcinoma in predicting time to progression (TTP). This study included 48 patients with 60 lesions who underwent liver MRI within 3 months after DEB-TACE. MRI was assessed for arterial enhancement pattern, late washout, arterioportal shunt, signal intensity on T2-weighted image, intratumoral septa, enhancing tissue on subtraction images, and treatment response. Cox-regression analysis was performed to identify independent factors to predict TTP. TTP was calculated using the Kaplan-Meier method with the log-rank test. Per lesion, 30 achieved complete remission, 22 had a partial response, and the remaining 8 lesions displayed stable disease on MRI. Arterial enhancement pattern, washout and enhancing tissue on subtraction images from MRI were associated with viable tumor on the last follow-up computerized tomography. Arterial enhancement, washout and enhancing tissue on subtraction images were significant predictors of TTP, but only enhancing tissue on subtraction images remained a significant predictor of TTP (P=0.018) in the multivariate analysis. TTP was longer in the group without enhancing tissue on subtraction images compared to the group with enhancing tissue (601 days vs. 287 days, P<0.001). Enhancing tissue on subtraction images from MRI after DEB-TACE is predictive for longer TTP.

Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the leading causes of neoplastic morbidity and mortality worldwide, and despite recent treatment advances, the prognosis remains dismal, with a 5-year mortality rate of 85%. The surveillance and timely diagnosis is therefore of crucial importance in order to improve survival rates and alleviate the health burden imposed by the HCC. Previously, HCC diagnosis warranted liver biopsy, an invasive process with limited diagnostic accuracy. In the past 15 years, HCC diagnosis based solely on imaging criteria was accepted by all the major national and international guidelines, and is now widely employed across the globe. Current European guidelines for the HCC diagnosis support the use of both dynamic contrasted computer tomography as well as magnetic resonance imaging for the non-invasive diagnosis of HCC for nodules >1 cm in a cirrhotic liver. The non-invasive diagnosis of HCC depends on radiological hallmarks, such as homogeneous contrast uptake during the arterial phase and wash-out during the venous and late phases, but while such tumoral behaviour is frequent in nodules >2 cm, high-end equipment and superior expertise is often needed for the correct diagnosis of early HCC. Nevertheless, the accuracy of imaging techniques for the diagnosis of HCC is permanently improving, and supports the progressively reduced need for liver biopsy during liver nodule workout in a cirrhotic liver.

Abstract
Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is a form of intra-arterial catheter-based chemotherapy that selectively delivers high doses of cytotoxic drug to the tumor bed combining with the effect of ischemic necrosis induced by arterial embolization. Chemoembolization and radioembolization are at the core of the treatment of liver hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients who cannot receive potentially curative therapies such as transplantation, resection or percutaneous ablation. TACE for liver cancer has been proven to be useful in local tumor control, to prevent tumor progression, prolong patients' life and control patient symptoms. Recent evidence showed in patients with single-nodule HCC of 3 cm or smaller without vascular invasion, the 5-year overall survival (OS) with TACE was similar to that with hepatic resection and radiofrequency ablation. Although being used for decades, Lipiodol(®) (Lipiodol(®) Ultra Fluid(®), Guerbet, France) remains important as a tumor-seeking and radio-opaque drug delivery vector in interventional oncology. There have been efforts to improve the delivery of chemotherapeutic agents to tumors. Drug-eluting bead (DEB) is a relatively novel drug delivery embolization system which allows for fixed dosing and the ability to release the anticancer agents in a sustained manner. Three DEBs are available, i.e., Tandem(®) (CeloNova Biosciences Inc., USA), DC-Beads(®) (BTG, UK) and HepaSphere(®) (BioSphere Medical, Inc., USA). Transarterial radioembolization (TARE) technique has been developed, and proven to be efficient and safe in advanced liver cancers and those with vascular complications. Two types of radioembolization microspheres are available i.e., SIR-Spheres(®) (Sirtex Medical Limited, Australia) and TheraSphere(®) (BTG, UK). This review describes the basic procedure of TACE, properties and efficacy of some chemoembolization systems and radioembolization agents which are commercially available and/or currently under clinical evaluation. The key clinical trials of transcatheter arterial therapy for liver cancer are summarized.
