Abstract
The diagnosis of cutaneous lymphomas is challenging and requires skin tissue for histology and immunophenotyping using immunohistochemistry and molecular studies. In recent years, the role of non-invasive imaging techniques has been described as part of the clinical assessment of cutaneous lymphoma lesions. Imaging modalities such as dermoscopy, reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM), and high frequency ultrasound (HFUS) have been shown to be very valuable in raising the clinical suspicion for lymphomas of the skin, and in distinguishing cutaneous lymphomas from inflammatory dermatoses such as lupus, psoriasis, or eczema. These non-invasive methods can be used to direct the clinician to the optimal biopsy site to maximize the histopathological results and minimize false negatives. These methods also have a potential place in monitoring treatment response. In this review we present a concise summary of the dermoscopic imaging, RCM, and HFUS features seen in cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCL) and B-cell lymphomas (CBCL).

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To evaluate the sonographic features of secondary involvement of skin and subcutaneous tissues by hematologic malignancies. METHODS A review of the ultrasound and pathology databases yielded 10 cases with 13 skin and subcutaneous tissue lesions secondary to hematologic neoplasms, which were confirmed by pathology. We used ultrasound to assess the number, location, size, depth of involvement, echogenicity, and vascularity of the lesions. RESULTS The study involved five male and five female patients, including four leukemia, two multiple myeloma, and four lymphoma patients. The average age was 45 years (17-66 years). Three patients presented with one lesion, four with two lesions, and three with more than two lesions. All the lesions were located in the trunk and extremities. The lesions ranged from 1.2 to 8.3 cm in size. A total of 10 lesions involved subcutaneous fat tissue. A total of 10 lesions displayed hypoechoic foci within a hyperechoic background, and three appeared hypoechoic, and most of them exhibited abundant vascularity (12 of 13 lesions). CONCLUSIONS Secondary involvement of skin and subcutaneous tissues by hematologic malignancies often present with multiple palpable masses showing the following ultrasound features: (1) subcutaneous fat infiltration, (2) hypoechoic foci with a hyperechoic background, and (3) abundant vascularity.

Abstract
Background and Objective: Cutaneous infiltration by Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) is a rare complication. The clinical presentation, impact of it on disease prognosis, and the proper treatment choice are not clear. Here in our review, we try to answer these questions. Acquisition of evidences: A systematic search of PubMed, and Google Scholar for English language articles published from Jan 2000 to June 2019. Synthesis of evidences: A total of 56 cases were identified, with a median age of 66 years. Of these cases 43 were males and 12 were females, and one missing data, with a ratio of 3,6:1. Head and neck were most commonly involved. The commonest clinical presentation was papulonodular lesions, and the majority were diagnosed at an early stage. CLL skin involvement at the site of old herpetic lesions was common. Because of the rarity of the disease, treatment modalities varied widely, and there are no consensus on treatment. The majority were treated with chemotherapy. In general, 35 (77.8% - of the non-missing data) patients responded to treatment (25 patients had a complete remission and 10 a partial remission). All patients ≤60 years had an early-stage disease, on the other hand, all patients with advanced-stage were >60 years. Conclusion: Patients with early-stage and localized leukemia cutis can benefit from observation alone strategy, while intervention in young patients with advanced disease is warranted. Skin infiltration by CLL does not affect prognosis, as most patients attained complete or partial remission with a very low progression rate.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Intralesional vincristine is an effective treatment for Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) nodules on the skin, but there is little evidence of its action through imaging techniques. Ultrasonography can be an adjunctive tool in the diagnosis and management of KS skin lesions, but data in the literature are few. MATERIALS AND METHODS Five patients with classic KS nodules were treated with intralesional vincristine. Ultrasonographic and color Doppler assessment were performed during vincristine injection and monitoring was repeated 1 and 3 months after the procedure. Partial response was defined as a reduction of more than 50% lesion volume and reduction of the vascular signal; complete response as a resolution of lesion associated with the absence of vascular signal. RESULTS Six KS nodules were included in the study. On ultrasonography examination, KS nodules appeared as oval or round, hypoechoic, homogeneous structures, with intralesional vascularization, more prominent in the deepest pole of the nodule. At month 1, 4 nodules achieved a complete response, while two nodules showed a partial response and were retreated with intralesional vincristine. At month 3, all lesions achieved a complete response. CONCLUSION Ultrasonography may be a valuable tool in assessing clinical response to intralesional vincristine therapy of cutaneous KS nodules.
