Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aimed to summarize the clinical features of non-syndromic late developing supernumerary teeth (LDST) and comparisons with common supernumerary teeth (ST) and explore the association between LDST and the third dentition. MATERIALS AND METHODS This study retrospected cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and medical history of 41,903 consecutive patients from January to December 2021. Comparisons between ST and LDST were evaluated by Chi-square test or Fisher exact test. Correlation between chronological age and dental stage age was evaluated by Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. Binary logistic regression analysis was used to explore the features of LDST originating from the third dentition. RESULTS Sixty patients with 126 non-syndromic LDST and 1602 patients with 1988 non-syndromic ST were identified. The prevalence of ST and LDST was 3.82% and 0.14%, respectively, with a male-female ratio of 1.78:1 and 1.31:1. LDST patients mainly had LDST in multiple (58.33%) and bilaterally (41.67%), with an average of 2.1/patient. Most LDST were normal-shaped (84.13%), vertically oriented (71.43%), located in the mandible (80.16%), and distributed in the premolar region (82.54%). The study also indicated that the development of LDST was correlated with permanent teeth, with LDST developing 6.48 to 10.45 years later. In this study, 72.22% of LDST met the clinical criteria for the third dentition. CONCLUSIONS LDST manifested different clinical features from common ST. LDST might be closely related to the third dentition. CLINICAL RELEVANCE This work would help to comprehend LDST from a clinical perspective, and may be complementary to the criteria of the third dentition.

Abstract
Supernumerary teeth can have normal or abnormal morphologic structure and characteristics, and their impacted form is diagnosed usually during X-ray examinations. In this case report, the presented patient is a 16-year-old female with anterior and right posterior open bite and bilateral posterior crossbite, upper right supernumerary paramolar, and impacted second and third molars. The paramolar development was the reason for the asymmetric growth of the alveolar bone in the upper jaw. The development of the bone is connected with the development of the teeth, and one additional tooth leads to extensive development in the maxilla. There is a risk of gingival recession occurrence when leveling the lower incisors due to the thin gingival biotype. A combined surgical-orthodontic treatment was done according to the following plan: extraction of supernumerary paramolar, germectomy of the upper right third molar (18) and at the same time periodontal graft in the lower anterior segment. A digitally three-dimensional (3D) printed appliance for rapid maxillary expansion was used for the transverse insufficiency of the upper jaw. The upper dental arch expander was designed with distal extension in the area of the upper right second molar (17). The extension was used as an anchorage during the orthodontic traction of the second molar. The treatment continued with a fixed orthodontic appliance-braces in the upper and lower jaw. With the extraction of the impacted and supernumerary teeth in the right maxillary segment, the eruption of 17 was stimulated and a change in the height of the alveolar bone was achieved. This favored the vertical changes and normalization of the occlusion. The maxillary expansion was also a significant factor in normalizing the occlusion. Observations on paramolar behavior showed that more often they develop in the bone and do not erupt. Each clinical case is highly individual, and patients seek orthodontic treatment at different stages of dentition development and corresponding development of the supernumerary teeth.

Abstract
Background Hypergenetic molars are uncommon in children and adolescents. Furthermore, the presence of multiple eumorphic supernumerary molars (SNMs) in children is sporadic. The author, therefore, reports a nonsyndromic case of multiple supplemental SNMs in a child. Case description A ten year old boy primarily complaining of cheek biting was found to have six molars on the maxillary left quadrant. Following investigations and case discussion, four molars and fibroma were surgically removed under general anesthesia. Discussion This paper discusses the prevalence and management of SNMs in the pediatric population while documenting the first case of multiple eumorphic SNMs in the mixed dentition. Abstract
PURPOSE This study aimed to describe clinical and imaging analysis of supernumerary teeth in the mandibular region of 22 cases. STUDY DESIGN Retrospective study METHODS: : This study enrolled patients diagnosed with supernumerary teeth who underwent cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) at Stomatology Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from August 2016 to September 2022. Participants included individuals aged 7-29 years of both genders. The following variables were examined: number of supernumerary teeth, location, shape, direction, length, relationship with adjacent teeth and surrounding anatomical structures, and secondary effects RESULTS: : Out of 236 subjects, 22 (6.02%) were found to have supernumerary teeth in the mandibular region, with a total of 62 teeth identified. The male-to-female ratio was 5:6. Most supernumerary teeth were located in the lingual side of the mandibular region, particularly in the 34-35 tooth area (21.66%), followed by the 44-45 tooth region. The vast majority of supernumerary teeth (96.77%) were impacted, and more than half (51.67%) were located near the mental nerve canal. The average length of the supernumerary teeth was 10.5 mm. While no primary complications were observed, some secondary symptoms were noted, such as the ectopic eruption of adjacent teeth and crowding of permanent teeth. CONCLUSION The supernumerary teeth in the mandibular area have regional characteristics, which can provide for clinical diagnosis and treatment. CBCT can accurately analyze the location of supernumerary teeth and their secondary effects, and provides the treatment plan on that basis.

Abstract
We described an 11-year follow-up of a patient with a non-syndrome multiple supernumerary teeth who had one extra tooth in the maxilla and four additional premolars in the mandible. Together with an additional distal migration of the second lower right premolar to the ramus of the mandible that also occurred, it comprises a unique combination of conditions that were not previously presented in the literature. We showed the significance of routine X-rays in cases of hyperdontia since the additional teeth may develop later than expected and the patient may not experience any symptoms.

Abstract
Supernumerary teeth and taurodontism are both common dental anomalies when found as isolated entities. However, simultaneous presence in the same individual without a syndrome is rarely reported in the literature. This case report describes a 20-year-old non-syndromic male with multiple supernumerary teeth in association with multiple molar and premolar taurodonts and no family history of genetic predisposing factors. Taurodontism was measured and confirmed through cone-beam computed tomography for accuracy of the classification. Early diagnosis with the aid of radiographic imaging and persistent follow-up are crucial to treatment.

Abstract
Introduction The prevalence of nonsyndromic multiple supernumerary teeth is less than 1% of all hyperdontia cases which themselves have a rather small prevalence. Cases with 10 impacted nonsyndromic supernumerary teeth are extremely rare. This report presents such a case of nonsyndromic multiple impacted supernumerary teeth. Case A 17-year-old boy with a completely orthodontic chief complaint attended our center. He had no systemic complaints and no signs or symptoms. Oral examination showed no abnormalities. On routine pretreatment panoramic radiography, numerous impacted supernumerary teeth appeared. A CBCT showed 10 impacted vertically aligned supplementary supernumerary teeth with incomplete roots: In the maxilla, the bilateral canine-premolar areas were involved, each having 2 supernumerary teeth palatal to the permanent teeth. In the mandible, the right premolar area included 2 supernumerary teeth. The left premolar-molar area contained 3 supernumerary teeth lingual to the permanent teeth. And in the right mandibular molar area, there was a distomolar tooth distal to the third molar. No bony ankyloses, root resorptions, or fusions were observed. The surrounding bone had become thinner and the mandibular alveolar canal was involved. Interventions. All supernumerary teeth except a mandibular distomolar were extracted carefully before beginning the orthodontic treatment. No complications were seen after the extraction, after orthodontic treatment, and 2 years after treatment. Conclusions The possibility of completely hidden unerupted supernumerary teeth without any signs and symptoms might highlight the value of some radiographic screenings.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Cleft lip with or without cleft palate (CL/P) is congenital deformity associated with hyperdontia. OBJECTIVE To determine the prevalence and characteristics of supernumerary teeth in patients with CL/P. DESIGN Retrospective descriptive and correlation clinical study. PATIENTS One hundred thirteen children with cleft (age ranged 9.3-19.2; 67 males and 46 females) treated in Clinic of Congenital Facial Deformities Medical University of Lublin were included in the study. METHODS Records evaluation was conducted regarding age, gender, cleft type (Q36, Q37-International Classification of Diseases 10th revision), cleft side, and incidence of supernumeraries. In all supernumerary teeth, size, shape, and developmental degree were analyzed and correlation between the incidence of hyperdontia with different variables was checked. Correlations were detected using chi-square and the Yates correction. RESULTS The majority of the examined group were males-59.29% with Q37 (67.26%) and the cleft on the left side (62.83%). Hyperdontia was noted in 26.55%. Only upper lateral incisors were affected. They usually had atypical shape (56.67%), reduced size (83.33%), and delayed development (56.67%). CONCLUSIONS The prevalence of supernumerary permanent teeth in patients with cleft was higher than in the general population. Anomaly was more frequent in male patients and occurred mainly on the cleft side. The severity of the cleft did not influenced the frequency of supernumerary teeth, their shape, size, and developmental degree. Supernumerary teeth were characterized by reduced crown size, abnormal structure, incorrect inclination, and delayed development phase.
