In this issue of Cancer Discovery, Yap and colleagues demonstrate in a phase I trial enrolling 22 patients diagnosed with advanced solid tumors that BAY 1895344, a new potent and specific ATR inhibitor, is safe and able to induce durable responses in ATM-deficient tumors.
