Abstract
Hemosiderotic dermatofibroma (HDF) often mimics melanoma clinically. A definite diagnosis relies on histopathological evaluation and immunohistochemistry. As it can progress to aneurysmal dermatofibroma (ADF), complete excision is recommended.

Abstract
Plaque-like myofibroblastic tumor (PLMT) is a rare dermal spindle cell tumor which occurs in infancy or childhood within the first 4 years of life. The tumor is often pruritic and mostly presents on the lower back. We describe 2 cases with characteristic clinical and histological features of this entity, thus adding to the 10 cases which have so far been reported. Histologically, the lesion resembles a dermatofibroma. However, diffuse and uniform immunohistochemical staining with smooth muscle actin favors a myofibroblastic lineage. PLMT should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a dermal spindle cell tumor in the pediatric age-group.

Abstract
Aneurysmal benign fibrous histiocytomas are variants of dermatofibromas. These benign blood-filled lesions can mimic malignancies due to their rapid and recurrent growth. Our patient is a 42-year-old Caucasian female with a past medical history of morbid obesity, diabetes, and hypertension, who presented with a mass on her left shoulder for 5 years' duration. The mass oozed occasionally and would appear to regress but then recur replaced with progressively larger masses. Upon inspection, the patient had a large pedunculated exophytic mass with vascularity. The mass was surgically removed under general anesthesia via wide local excision. Grossly, the excised skin was purple-tinged with an underlying fungating solid mass measuring 8.5 cm. Serial sections revealed a hemorrhagic, spongy, and granular cut surface. Histologically, the epidermis was hyperplastic, with underlying hyaline collagen bundles. The remainder of the mass was chronically inflamed and composed of spindled histiocytes, hemosiderin-laden macrophages, and blood-filled spaces lacking an endothelial lining. There was focal pleomorphism but no significant atypia. Immunohistochemical stains were strongly positive for vimentin and negative for CD31, CD34, and desmin. The overall architecture and immunophenotype are consistent with the diagnosis of aneurysmal benign fibrous histiocytoma.

Abstract
Dermatofibroma, also known as benign fibrous histiocytoma, is a soft-tissue tumour that usually occurs in the mid-adult life and shows a slight female predominance. Giant dermatofibroma, a very rare clinical variant, is characterised by its unusually large size, benign biological behaviour despite its large size and same histopathological characteristics as conventional dermatofibroma. We report a 63-year-old woman who presented with a large tumour on the scapular region which showed histopathological features of benign dermatofibroma.

Abstract
A 34-year-old male came with complaints of multiple firms to hard nontender, nonitchy nodules, measuring 2 cm × 2 cm to 1 cm × 1.5 cm, present predominantly over the lower limbs. This condition started 5 years back as a single nodule over the thigh but gradually increased in number and size with time to involve both lower limbs. A differential diagnosis of cutaneous lymphoma and dermatofibroma was considered. He underwent a biopsy and immunohistochemistry for the same which were consistent with hemosiderotic histiocytoma and positive for vimentin. The patient was advised surgical excision for the same. The occurrence of multiple dermatofibromas although rare has been reported in a few case reports; however, the occurrence of multiple dermatofibromas of the hemosiderotic variant has not been documented yet.

Abstract
Dermatofibroma (DF) is a relatively common benign fibrohistiocytic soft tissue tumor. It has a slightly greater incidence amongst females and typically presents itself during the midadult life as a slowly growing, firm dermal nodule, usually smaller than 2 cm in diameter, on the lower extremities. Giant DF is a rare clinical variant of DF characterized by unusually large size (>5 cm), which mimics malignant soft tissue tumor clinically. Twenty-six cases of giant DF have been reported so far. One of these giant DFs was a giant hemosiderotic DF. We report herein a case of a 47-year-old woman who presented with the largest DF reported in the literature to date. It was hemosiderotic.

Abstract
We report the case of an 11-year-old male patient with a histopathological and immunohistochemical diagnosis of dermatofibroma with an atypical clinical presentation on the right forearm. Although dermatofibroma is considered a benign skin tumor, some of its differential diagnoses, such as dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans and malignant fibrous histiocytoma, are truly aggressive. Lesions with atypical clinical aspects and topology associated with specific histopathological variants are some of the criteria for complete tumor excision.
