Abstract
Isolated external iliac vein aneurysm is exceedingly rare, not well-described in the literature, and presents several potential surgical approaches. Herein, we describe the case of a 72-year-old woman who presented with incidentally found 4.3 cm × 3.4 cm × 5.6 cm right external iliac vein aneurysm after undergoing magnetic resonance imaging for orthopedic work-up. She was treated via parallel supra- and infra-inguinal incisions and novel combination of primary aneurysmorrhaphy with intraluminal balloon mandrel-assisted closure. The patient was discharged on postoperative day two, and 6-month follow-up ultrasound showed a normal caliber vessel with normal compressibility, suggesting this technique is safe and effective for appropriately selected patients.

Abstract
In this study we report on a patient with a left common iliac vein aneurysm; a condition rarely seen in vascular surgery. A 49-year-old man with no history of trauma or surgery underwent computed tomography (CT) for the evaluation of lumbago. A subsequent 64-slice CT angiogram revealed a left common iliac vein aneurysm. Surgery was performed due to the possibility of rupture. The aneurysm was successfully treated with clipping and sutures and a pre-discharge CT showed the aneurysm had shrunk. We combine our experience treating this patient with a review of the characteristics of other reported cases and methods used to treat iliac vein aneurysms. A definitive diagnosis is recommended in patients in whom an iliac vein aneurysm is suspected, with a CT angiogram being a dependable diagnostic method. There is still no unified standard for the treatment of aneurysms. Conservative treatment can be chosen for some small aneurysms in early stage, but close follow-up is needed. Surgical treatment is still recommended for some large aneurysms. Because we know that if an aneurysm ruptures, it can be life-threatening. If appropriate artificial blood vessels or coated stents are available, aneurysms resection combined with artificial blood vessel reconstruction or directly coated stents are good choices for aneurysms isolation. For some very large aneurysms, I personally think that lateral wall resection and suture of our aneurysms is also a method. Early follow-up results also proved that the method was effective. Surgery should be performed as early as possible. Our method of surgery may be used as a selective surgical method if the aneurysm is large or saccular in morphology.

Abstract
Introduction: Iliac vein aneurysm is a rare clinical entity. Iliac venous tract is the least commonlocation for venous aneurysms. There are a few cases of common, external and internal iliac veinaneurysms in the literature. However, undiagnosed and ruptured iliac venous aneurysms couldhave hazardous consequences. Herein, we reviewed all literature cases of iliac vein aneurysms.Their potential diagnostic and therapeutic challenges are discussed. Literature Review: Following a systematic search, 50 cases of iliac venous aneurysms wereidentified. We used MEDLINE [1900-March 2018] and EMBASE [until March 2018]. MeSHterms of iliac vein/veins/venous, hypogastric, inferior vena cava and aneurysm/aneurysms wereused. Fifty patients with venous aneurysms located in common, external or internal iliac veinswere found in our systematic search. Seventeen patients were female (35.4%) and 31 patients weremale (64.6%). The age range was 13 to 70 years of age. The aneurysm was located in right side in17 patients (34%). It was located in left side in 29 patients (58%) and it was bilateral in 4 patients(8%). The aneurysm was located in common, external and internal iliac veins in 15 (30%), 31(62%) and 4 (8%) patients respectively. The aneurysm was due to a previous arteriovenousfistula (AVF) in 19 patients (38%) and of them, 16 patients (32%) had a history of AVF resultingfrom a previous trauma. 29 patients (59.2%) underwent open surgical treatment. Five patients(10.2%) underwent endovascular treatment. One patient (2.0%) underwent hybrid treatment.Conservative treatment was used in 14 patients (28.6%). Conclusion: Iliac vein aneurysms are extremely rare. Its diagnosis necessitates precise clinicalsuspicion and the treatment is based on patients' clinical scenario and radiological features. Bothopen and endovascular techniques could be feasible. Iliac vein aneurysms are more commonin men. Left sided aneurysms are more common. The most common anatomic location isexternal iliac vein. The most common cause of iliac aneurysms is dilatation of vein secondary toa traumatic AVF.

Abstract
Aneurysms of the iliac veins are very rare but are potentially fatal due to their potential to cause thromboembolic complications or even rupture. We herein report an unusual case of bilateral external iliac venous aneurysms in a 50-year-old male long-distance runner who presented with bilateral groin pain. The aneurysms were successfully treated with tangential aneurysmectomy with lateral venorrhaphy. Possible causes and management of iliac venous aneurysms are also discussed in this article.

Abstract
Primary iliac venous aneurysm is an exceedingly rare abnormality that can be complicated by pulmonary embolism, thrombosis, and rupture. Here we report the case of an otherwise healthy 40-year-old man with a unilateral external iliac vein aneurysm without any evidence of an arteriovenous fistula, proximal stenosis, or obstruction, as reported on computed tomography. Pulmonary embolism was diagnosed using 99mTc-macroaggregated albumin scintigraphy. To prevent life-threatening complications, we treated the patient with anticoagulant therapy and performed aneurysmectomy with reconstruction using a saphenous vein graft patch. Although postoperative venography showed obstruction of the external iliac vein, the patient remained asymptomatic.

Abstract
Iliac vein aneurysms are rare, even among venous aneurysms. We report the first case of an external iliac vein aneurysm presenting with paradoxical embolism to bilateral lower extremities. Workup after embolectomy demonstrated a patent foramen ovale along with the aneurysm and an inferior vena cava obstruction, which was treated with balloon angioplasty and ultimately stenting. The patient then underwent interval lateral aneurysmectomy. At 4-year follow-up, she is free of recurrence.

Abstract

Abstract
Venous aneurysms are rare vascular abnormalities, and primary venous aneurysm originating from sacral venous plexus is exceedingly rare. In this article, we report a 28-year-old man with a large venous aneurysm (∼15 × 10 cm in size) originating from presacral venous plexus. The patient complained of 1 year of constant back pain associated with frequent defecation and urination, caused by the compression from the aneurysm. Exploratory laparotomy was performed for diagnosis, with successful aneurysmectomy to relieve the compression. The patient recovered uneventfully with complete relief of symptoms. Postoperative histopathologic examination manifested classic venous aneurysm. During follow-up 6 months after surgery, all symptoms were resolved without significant postoperative complications.

Abstract
Primary iliac venous aneurysm is an extremely rare clinical entity. We report a case of primary external iliac venous aneurysm containing an intraluminal thrombus that caused pulmonary thromboembolism in a 22-year-old woman. The aneurysm and pulmonary emboli were detected during examination for sudden onset of dyspnea. After receiving anticoagulation and thrombolytic therapy, the patient underwent aneurysm resection. We devised venoplasty using a dual-row saphenous vein patch to cover the large defect of the vessel wall. Primary iliac venous aneurysms associated with pulmonary thromboembolism are uncommon and surgical repair is made difficult by the fragility of the affected vessel. We reviewed the clinical features of this unusual entity.

Abstract
Iliac vein aneurysms are uncommon, and there is no consensus on optimal treatment. We present a case of venous exclusion using an endovascular approach. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of a large external iliac vein aneurysm treated endovascularly. We have demonstrated the feasibility of this approach with satisfactory 1-year follow-up.

Abstract
Aneurysms involving the venous system are a rare entity. We report the case of a 37-year-old woman who presented to us with activity-limiting left gluteal pain and who on consequent workup was found to have a left external iliac vein aneurysm in a setting of iliocavomegaly. She underwent successful treatment of her aneurysm with a novel approach that involved staple plication and resection of the aneurysm over a balloon mandrel. We discuss the presentation, diagnosis, and surgical technique adopted for the treatment of this uncommon condition.

Abstract
Iliac vein aneurysms are an exceedingly uncommon problem faced by vascular specialists. We report a case of a healthy 32 year old woman who had large asymptomatic bilateral external iliac vein aneurysms found incidentally on CT scan. They may present with thromboembolism, spontaneous rupture, or they may be asymptomatic. In evaluating these aneurysms, it is important to obtain volumetric imaging data that can be rendered in 3-dimensions and reconstructed in multiple planes. With our patient, it was the multiplanar reconstructions that best demonstrated the fusiform morphology of the aneurysms. Treatment for asymptomatic external iliac veins is controversial.
