Abstract
Macrocephaly, characterized by an abnormally large head circumference, often co-occurs with distinctive finger changes, presenting a diagnostic challenge for clinicians. This review aims to provide a current synthetic overview of the main acquired and genetic etiologies associated with macrocephaly and finger changes. The genetic cause encompasses several categories of diseases, including bone marrow expansion disorders, skeletal dysplasias, ciliopathies, inherited metabolic diseases, RASopathies, and overgrowth syndromes. Furthermore, autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases are also explored for their potential involvement in macrocephaly and finger changes. The intricate genetic mechanisms involved in the formation of cranial bones and extremities are multifaceted. An excess in growth may stem from disruptions in the intricate interplays among the genetic, epigenetic, and hormonal factors that regulate human growth. Understanding the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms is important for elucidating the developmental pathways and biological processes that contribute to the observed clinical phenotypes. The review provides a practical approach to delineate causes of macrocephaly and finger changes, facilitate differential diagnosis and guide for the appropriate etiological framework. Early recognition contributes to timely intervention and improved outcomes for affected individuals.

Abstract
Background Lhermitte-Duclos Disease (LDD), or dysplastic gangliocytoma, which is a benign hamartomatous condition involving the cerebellum, has a possible association with Cowden syndrome (CS), a rare autosomal dominant disorder due to germline mutations in the phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN) tumor-suppressor gene in chromosome 10. Combined CS and LDD cases are rarely reported in the literature. Case Description We present here a case of a young female patient presented at the emergency department with a severe headache associated with vertigo, vomiting, and cerebellar ataxia. A magnetic resonance imaging scan revealed mixed intensity posterior fossa lesion with almost preserved cerebellar cortical striations. Her facial skin had extensive trichilemmoma. Her symptoms improved after the excision of the posterior fossa lesion through suboccipital craniotomy and histopathology revealed LDD. Conclusion In a low-resource country where genetic testing for neurosurgical condition is still inadequate, we used the validated Cleveland Clinic Adult Clinical Scoring for PTEN Testing and the patient had an 82-98% chance for a PTEN gene mutation. Finally, she along with her family was adequately counseled and was advised for regular screening and monitoring since it is a premalignant condition where early detection is imperative if any cancer arises in the near future and is now under our follow-up.

Abstract
The dysplastic gangliocytoma of the cerebellum, also known as Lhermitte-Duclos disease, is an uncommon hamartomatous lesion in the posterior fossa with some distinctive neuroradiological characteristics. It can happen in combination with Cowden syndrome or sporadically. Cowden disease, or multiple hamartoma-neoplasia syndrome, is a rare autosomal dominant condition which is characterized by mucocutaneous lesions and systemic malignancies. We present a case of Lhermitte-Duclos disease and Cowden disease occurring in adult patients. The clinical and radiological features as well as the management approaches of this unusual disease complex are addressed.

Abstract
Hereditary polyposis syndrome can be divided into three categories: Ade-nomatous, serrated, and hamartomatous polyps. Hamartomatous polyps, malformations of normal tissue presenting in a disorganized manner, are characterized by an autosomal dominant inheritance pattern. These syndromes exhibit hamartomatous gastrointestinal polyps in conjunction to extra-intestinal manifestations, which require conscientious and diligent monitoring. Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, Cowden syndrome, and juvenile polyposis syndrome are the most common displays of hamartomatous polyposis syndrome (HPS). Diagnosis can be pursued with molecular testing and endoscopic sampling. Early identification of these autosomal dominant pathologies allows to optimize malignancy sur-veillance, which helps reduce morbidity and mortality in both the affected patient population as well as at-risk family members. Endoscopic surveillance is an important pillar of prognosis and monitoring, with many patients eventually requiring surgical intervention. In this review, we discuss the diagnosis, surveillance, and management of HPS.

Abstract
Lhermitte-Duclos disease (LDD) is a rare cerebellar lesion characterized by a hamartomatous lesion of the cerebellum. Mainly diagnosed by MRI, the clinical presentation is usually made of neurological symptoms. Modern neuroimaging techniques such as MRI have led to accurate diagnosis of this disease in both its pre- and post-operative periods. We present the case of a 68-year-old male with a past medical history of cardiac stenting and coronary artery disease who originally presented to the emergency department as a transfer for evaluation of possible obstructing hydrocephalus and left posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) infarct. Based on the clinical presentation and imaging, the favored diagnosis of his left cerebellar abnormality was LDD rather than an unusual acute/subacute infarct or a metastatic lesion. The rapid progression of symptoms with rapidly progressive cytotoxic edema on serial CTs helped exclude LDD, which is nearly always more of a chronic process. The classic neuroimaging findings and clinical presentation of LDD are also discussed.

Abstract
Lhermitte-Duclos Disease is a rare clinical entity involving a dysplastic lesion of the cerebellum. The dysplastic cerebellar ganglioblastoma is often seen in association with Cowden Syndrome, an autosomal dominant disorder consisting of a mutation in the phosphatase and homologous tensin (PTEN) gene. Characteristic findings on neuroimaging allow for a pre-operative diagnosis to be made, which guides further management of the condition. This report describes the diagnosis and management of Lhermitte-Duclos Disease in a 51-year-old lady, spanning a period of almost seven years. The characteristic radiological and histological findings are presented, along with the clinical features associated with Cowden Syndrome. This patient ultimately underwent surgical intervention for symptomatic relief, which is described here.

Abstract
RATIONALE Lhermitte-Duclos disease (LDD) is a rare tumor of the nervous system with a typical "tiger striped'" sign, but its features on functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) are still inconclusive. PATIENT CONCERNS To explore the characteristics of LDDs using fMRI. DIAGNOSES We report 3 cases of pathologically confirmed LDDs. INTERVENTIONS Three patients underwent brain tumor surgery. OUTCOMES All the patients had a good prognosis. LESSONS Magnetic resonance spectroscopy and susceptibility-weighted imaging combined with conventional MRI can be used to better diagnose LDDs. Perfusion-weighted imaging is not specific for distinguishing cerebellar tumors. The combined application of fMRI and conventional MRI can improve the accuracy of LDD diagnoses.

Abstract
PURPOSE Many childhood diseases often present with skin abnormalities with which radiologists are largely unfamiliar. Knowledge of associated dermatologic manifestations may aid the radiologist in confirming the diagnosis and recommending targeted imaging of affected organs. METHODS We review the imaging findings in childhood diseases associated with dermatologic manifestations. FINDINGS Diseases include dermatologic findings which herald underlying malignancy (Neuroblastoma, leukemia/lymphoma, Langerhans cell histiocytosis),are associated with risk of malignancy (Epidermolysis Bullosa, basal cell nevus syndrome, Cowden's syndrome, Tuberous Sclerosis),or indicate a systemic inflammatory/immune disorder (Kawasaki's disease, Henoch Schonlein Purpura, systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, sarcoidosis, dermatomyositis and immune thrombocytopenic purpura). CONCLUSION Familiarity with pertinent findings in childhood diseases presenting with dermatologic manifestations in childhood diseases aids the radiologist in confirming the diagnosis and guiding imaging workup.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Lhermitte-Duclos disease (LDD) is a rare cerebellar lesion characterized by a hamartomatous lesion in the posterior fossa. Mainly diagnosed by MRI, the clinical presentation is usually made of neurological symptoms. CASE PRESENTATION We present here a rare case of a woman who developed depressive symptoms that inaugurated the clinical presentation of LDD. CONCLUSION Psychiatric symptoms may occur in all brain lesions, delaying the diagnosis and causing therapeutic escalation. More attention should be given by practitioners to psychiatric aspects of LDD.

Abstract
Hamartomas are tumours composed of mesenchymal tissues such as cartilage, fat, connective tissue and smooth muscle and can be found in virtually any organ system. These masses commonly develop sporadically, but are also seen in certain syndromes such as tuberous sclerosis or Carney triad. While their imaging appearance varies depending on the organ they arise from, findings are usually unique and a diagnosis can be confidently made. Radiologists must be aware of the clinical and imaging presentations of these lesions with the particular goal of avoiding unnecessary studies or invasive procedures. Furthermore, knowledge of common syndromic entities is crucial, as the radiologist may be the first to suggest the diagnosis.
