Abstract
China witnessed an Omicron COVID-19 outbreak at the end of 2022. During this period, medical crowding and enormous pressure on the healthcare systems occurred, which might result in the occurrence of occupational burnout among healthcare workers (HCWs). This study aims to investigate the prevalence of occupational burnout and associated mental conditions, such as depressive symptoms, anxiety, PTSD symptoms, perceived social support, resilience, and mindfulness among HCWs of the Chinese mainland during the Omicron COVID-19 outbreak, and to explore the potential risk and protective factors influencing occupational burnout of HCWs. A multicenter cross-sectional study was conducted among HCWs working in the Chinese mainland from January 5 to February 9, 2023. A total of 6552 participants were recruited by convenience sampling. Data were collected on demographic characteristics, occupational burnout, depressive symptoms, anxiety, PTSD, perceived social support, resilience, and mindfulness by online questionnaires. Descriptive analyses were performed to describe the participants' demographic characteristics. Univariate-Multivariate analyses were used to determine the influencing factors of occupational burnout. The results showed that the prevalence of occupational burnout and associated mental disorders, such as depressive symptoms, anxiety, and PTSD in HCWs were 44.56%, and 70.75%, 47.87%, and 37.49%, respectively. Older age, female gender, higher income, more doses of COVID-19 vaccine, a higher level of mindfulness, resilience, and perceived social support were protective factors of occupational burnout. Working as nurses, in a department currently taking charge of the treatment of COVID-19 patients, perceived high risk of contracting COVID-19 due to work, perceived high work intensity, and a higher level of anxiety and depressive symptoms were risk factors of occupational burnout. Tailored interventions on perceived social support, resilience, and mindfulness should be implemented to alleviate occupational burnout and associated mental disorders among HCWs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Nutrition literacy (NL), stemming from health literacy, profoundly influences dietary habits and chronic diseases. Despite their pivotal societal role, scant research exists on NL levels among medical personnel. This study examined NL levels among tertiary hospital medical staff in Bengbu and identified influencing factors. METHODS Using cluster sampling, all Bengbu tertiary hospitals were selected, with 4-5 departments randomly chosen. A structured questionnaire assessed demographic characteristics, while the NL short-form scale (NL-SF12) evaluated NL. SPSS 26.0 and AMOS conducted statistical analysis, including confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's α for reliability. Chi-square tests and logistic regression analyzed group differences and influencing factors. RESULTS The NL-SF12 demonstrated robust reliability and validity. Of participants, 34.22% were male and 65.78% female; 41.03% were doctors and 42.16% nurses. Overall, 45.68% exhibited high NL. Females showed higher total NL (OR = 1.47, 95% CI: 1.08-1.98), cognition (OR = 1.66, 95% CI: 1.22-2.24), skills (OR = 1.48, 95% CI: 1.09-2.00), and interactive NL (OR = 2.21, 95% CI: 1.53-3.19) than males. Those with a master's or higher had higher total NL (OR = 2.20, 95% CI: 1.33-3.65) and cognition (OR = 3.23, 95% CI: 1.94-5.37) than those with an associate degree or less. Pharmacists, inspectors, and technicians had higher total NL (OR = 1.55, 95% CI: 1.06-2.26) and functional NL (OR = 1.49, 95% CI: 1.02-2.17). Gender, education level, and career were the influencing factors of nutrition literacy among medical personnel. CONCLUSIONS Female medical staff and those with a master's degree or higher showed higher nutrition literacy (NL), particularly in cognition and skills. Pharmacists, inspectors, and other technicians exhibited higher levels of total NL and functional NL. Gender, education level, and career were identified as significant influencing factors of nutrition literacy among medical personnel. Understanding and considering these factors are crucial for developing targeted strategies to enhance nutrition literacy among healthcare professionals. Future efforts to improve nutrition literacy through training and interventions should be tailored to the characteristics of different groups to effectively enhance the capabilities and proficiency of healthcare professionals in nutrition knowledge and practice.

Abstract
Objective The aim of this study is to understand the job burnout of village doctors during the COVID-19 epidemic and its influencing factors, and to provide a reference for effectively alleviating the job burnout of village doctors. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted among village doctors in S province in December 2021. The survey included a general information questionnaire and the CMBI Burnout Scale. Epidata was used for dual input, and descriptive analysis, t-test, chi-square test, and binary Logistic regression for statistical analysis were used. Results A total of 993 village doctors participated in the survey. Most of them were male village doctors (62.84%), with an average age of 46.57 (SD = 7.50). Village doctors believed that the impact of the epidemic on work was serious, with a score of 3.87 ± 0.91. The economic support was small, with a score of 2.31 ± 0.99. The development space was low, with a score of 2.62 ± 0.98. The overall incidence of burnout was 53.47%. In the burnout group, 54.05% were mild, 33.14% were moderate, and 12.81% were severe. The high degree of difficulty in using WeChat (OR = 1.436, 95%CI: 1.229-1.679), high work pressure (OR = 1.857, 95%CI: 1.409-2.449), high risk of practice (OR = 1.138, 95%CI: 1.004-1.289), less economic support (OR = 0.825, 95%CI: 0.684-0.995), less technical support (OR = 0.696, 95%CI: 0.565-0.858), and poor emotional support (OR = 0.632, 95%CI: 0.513-0.780) were more likely to have job burnout. Conclusion Burnout is a common phenomenon among village doctors during the COVID-19 pandemic, which needs to be prevented and alleviated by various measures.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly increased the risk of burnout among frontline nurses. However, the prevalence of burnout and its associated factors in the post-pandemic era remain unclear. This research aims to investigate burnout prevalence among frontline nurses in the post-pandemic period and pinpoint associated determinants in China. METHODS From April to July 2023, a cross-sectional study was carried out across multiple centers, focusing on frontline nurses who had been actively involved in the COVID-19 pandemic. The data collection was done via an online platform. The Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey was utilized to evaluate symptoms of burnout. A multivariable logistic regression analysis was used to pinpoint factors associated with burnout. RESULTS Of the 2210 frontline nurses who participated, 75.38% scored over the cut-off for burnout. Multivariable logistic regression revealed that factors like being female [odds ratio (OR) = 0.41, 95%CI = 0.29-0.58] and exercising 1-2 times weekly[OR = 0.53, 95%CI = 0.42-0.67] were protective factors against burnout. Conversely, having 10 or more night shifts per month[OR = 1.99, 95%CI = 1.39-2.84], holding a master's degree or higher[OR = 2.86, 95% CI = 1.59-5.15], poor health status[OR = 2.43, 95% CI = 1.93-3.08] and [OR = 2.82, 95%CI = 1.80-4.43], under virus infection[OR = 7.12, 95%CI = 2.10-24.17], and elevated work-related stress[OR = 1.53, 95% CI = 1.17-2.00] were all associated with an elevated risk of burnout. CONCLUSION Our findings indicate that post-pandemic burnout among frontline nurses is influenced by several factors, including gender, monthly night shift frequency, academic qualifications, weekly exercise frequency, health condition, and viral infection history. These insights can inform interventions aimed at safeguarding the mental well-being of frontline nurses in the post-pandemic period.

Abstract
BACKGROUND As a global pandemic, The Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has brought significant challenges to the primary health care (PHC) system. Health professionals are constantly affected by the pandemic's harmful impact on their mental health and are at significant risk of job burnout. Therefore, it is essential to gain a comprehensive understanding of how their burnout was affected. The study aimed to examine the relationship between COVID-19 event strength and job burnout among PHC providers and to explore the single mediating effect of job stress and work engagement and the chain mediating effect of these two variables on this relationship. METHODS Multilevel stratified convenience sampling method was used to recruit 1148 primary medical staff from 48 PHC institutions in Jilin Province, China. All participants completed questionnaires regarding sociodemographic characteristics, COVID-19 event strength, job stress, work engagement, and job burnout. The chain mediation model was analyzed using SPSS PROCESS 3.5 Macro Model 6. RESULTS COVID-19 event strength not only positively predicted job burnout, but also indirectly influenced job burnout through the mediation of job stress and work engagement, thereby influencing job burnout through the "job stress → work engagement" chain. CONCLUSIONS This study extends the application of event systems theory and enriches the literature about how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted PHC medical staff job burnout. The findings derived from our study have critical implications for current and future emergency response and public policy in the long-term COVID-19 disease management period.
