Abstract
Enantioconvergent intramolecular coupling of α-(2-bromobenzoylamino)benzylboronic esters was achieved using a copper catalyst having helically chiral macromolecular bipyridyl ligand, PQXbpy. Racemic α-(2-bromobenzoylamino)benzylboronic esters were converted into (R)-configured 3-arylisoindolinones with high enantiopurity using right-handed helical PQXbpy as a chiral ligand in a toluene/CHCl3 mixed solvent. When enantiopure (R)- and (S)-configured boronates were separately reacted under the same reaction conditions, both afforded (R)-configured products through formal stereoinvertive and stereoretentive processes, respectively. From these results, a mechanism involving deracemization of organocopper intermediates in the presence of PQXbpy is assumed. PQXbpy switched its helical sense to left-handed when a toluene/1,1,2-trichloroethane mixed solvent was used, resulting in the formation of the corresponding (S)-products from the racemic starting material.

Abstract
Treatment of an organoaluminum reagent bearing aryl and ethyl groups furnishes 1,2-diarylethene derivatives in good to excellent yields by the catalysis of a rhodium complex, in which the ethyl group of the aluminum reagent serves as an ethylene source in the product formation.

Abstract
Enantioselective conjugate addition of Grignard reagents to enones, catalyzed by Cu-Taniaphos or Josiphos complex, affords chiral enolates. Ensuing one-pot Mannich reaction with TiCl(4)-generated imine leads to aminocarbonyl compounds with benzyloxycarbonyl-protected nitrogen. Both diastereomers of these compounds are isolated in moderate yields but high enantiomeric purities (up to er 97.5:2.5).

Abstract
Applications of electron-deficient DIFLUORPHOS and SYNPHOS analogues in the rhodium-catalyzed asymmetric conjugate addition of boronic acids to α,β-unsaturated ketones afford the 1,4-addition adducts in yields up to 92% and with 99% ee. Particularly, a Rh-catalyzed asymmetric 1,4-addition of arylboronic acids to nonsubstituted maleimide substrates using the (R)-3,5-diCF(3)-SYNPHOS ligand is also reported. This protocol provides access to various enantioenriched 3-substituted succinimide units of biological interest, in high yields and good to excellent ee up to 93%, which could be upgraded up to 99% ee, after a single crystallization.

Abstract
The rhodium-catalyzed conjugate addition of organoboron reagents to alkene acceptors has emerged as an important methodology in organic synthesis. The process results in the formation of new carbon-carbon bonds, and in principle, can create new stereocenters at both the alpha and beta carbon atoms of the acceptor. Other organometallics are known to participate in the key transmetalation to rhodium and are becoming more established in stereoselective synthesis (notably arylzinc reagents). This Focus Review will describe recent developments in the use of alternative organometallic donors to organoboron reagents in rhodium-catalyzed conjugate addition reactions and their growing applications in synthesis.

Abstract
This paper reports a method for highly enantioselective Diels-Alder reaction with an acetylene equivalent to produce chiral-bridged dienes. These dienes, by coordination to Rh(I), can serve as catalysts for the enantioselective addition of vinyl or aryl groups to alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones.
