Abstract
Background and Aim Treatment of endometriosis involves pain relief which is achieved through the administration of analgesics and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, with or without the addition of hormone therapy. At present, studies investigating endometriosis pain management using experimental rat models and the use of medications are scarce. Therefore, this study aimed to systematically evaluate research trends and critical points in the field of endometriosis pain management using experimental models. Materials and Methods A total of 30 publications related to this topic that were published from 2012 to 2022 were retrieved from various databases, including Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, Embase, and CINAHL, using appropriate English keywords. The quality of the publications was evaluated using impact metrics, productivity, term density mapping, and author network. Results The average publication rate was three articles per year, reaching its peak in 2021 at five articles per year. The United States and China were found to be the most productive countries, with 12 and 10 publications per year, respectively. The field of medicine (37.0%) was the most abundant, although the H-index was relatively low (13:13). Term density mapping involved the search of 542 keywords, of which 35 were selected, with only 8 exhibiting significant density. Conclusion In the past decade, there has been a shortage of publications that have addressed pain in endometriosis in experimental models and, within this context the majority of the production and publication in this field has been performed by the United States and China. After performing this bibliometric review, it can be inferred that more research is required in this field, to develop new approaches and treatments for endometriotic pain.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to investigate the efficacy of metformin and ganirelix on subcutaneous endometriotic tissues created in an experimental mouse model. Materials and Methods Five groups were formed with eight animals in each group. One of the groups was set as the control group. Endometriotic lesions were created by transplanting 40 mouse autologous endomyometrial tissues into the mouse subcutaneous tissue to a highly vascular surface. Gene expression analyzes of tissues were performed as HIF-1α, ATG5, ATG12, Beclin2, Beclin1, LC3BII, CateninB, GSK3b, TCF, WNT2, WNT7α, and WNT10α gene analyzes. Drug effects were examined by histological examination. HIF1a and WNT2 protein expressions were examined immunohistochemically. Gene expression coefficients of control, metformin day 1 (Met1g), metformin day 7 (Met7g), ganirelix day 1 (Gnx1g), and ganirelix day 7 (Gnx7g) groups are shown in tables. Data are presented as mean and standard error. Results Beclin2 gene expression coefficients of metformin 1st day, metformin 7th day, ganirelix 1st day, and general 7th day groups were found to have significantly decreased compared with the control group coefficient. Beclin1 gene expression coefficients of metformin 1st day, metformin 7th day, ganirelix 1st day, and genirelix 7th day groups were found to have significantly decreased compared with the control group coefficient. LC3BII gene expression coefficients of metformin 1st day and metformin 7th day groups were found to have significantly decreased compared with LC3BII gene expression coefficients of control, genirelix 1st day, and genirelix 7th day groups. These findings were supported by histological and immunohistochemical staining. Conclusion These genes are actively involved in the autophagy pathway, and we think that the use of metformin in endometriosis might create an autophagy-based suppression mechanism.

Abstract
Dysmenorrhea is a condition that manifests itself in women before, during, and after menstruation, and it is accompanied by very intense pelvic pain. Moreover, women experience moderate to intense menstrual cramps year after year, decreasing their quality of life. The purpose of the study was to establish semiological differences associated with primary dysmenorrhea. Women who start their menstrual cycles with this symptomatology assume that it is normal and that they do not need specialized medical assistance. Medical professionals have established general practice guidelines on clinical disorders. However, there are no specific recommendations for the menstrual cycle that can effectively support the prompt diagnosis and treatment of primary dysmenorrhea, particularly at 3870 msnm. The uniqueness of our research is that semiological distinctions can change depending on height.

Abstract
Endometriosis is a gynecological condition that significantly impacting women's daily lives. In recent years, the incidence of endometriosis has been rising yearly and is now an essential contributor to female infertility. Exosomes are extracellular vesicles (EVs) that carry long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) and shield lncRNA from the outside environment thanks to their vesicle-like structure. The role of exosome-derived lncRNAs in endometriosis is also receiving more study as high-throughput sequencing technology develops. Several lncRNAs with variable expression may be crucial to the emergence and growth of endometriosis. The early diagnosis of endometriosis will be considerably improved by further high specificity and sensitivity Exosome lncRNA screening. Exosomes assist lncRNAs in carrying out their roles, offering a new target for creating endometriosis-specific medications. In order to serve as a reference for clinical research on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment options of endometriosis, this paper covers the role of exosome lncRNAs in endometriosis and related molecular mechanisms.

Abstract
The different definitions of chronic pelvic/visceral pain used by international societies have changed over the years. These differences have a great impact on the way researchers study chronic pelvic/visceral pain. Recently, the role of systemic changes, including the role of the central nervous system, in the perpetuation and chronification of pelvic/visceral pain has gained weight. Consequently, researchers are using animal models that resemble those systemic changes rather than using models that are organ- or tissue-specific. In this review, we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using bladder-centric and systemic models, enumerating some of the central nervous system changes and pain-related behaviors occurring in each model. We also present some drawbacks when using animal models and pain-related behavior tests and raise questions about possible, yet to be demonstrated, investigator-related bias. We also suggest new approaches to study chronic pelvic/visceral pain by refining existing animal models or using new ones.

The Effect of Exercise Training and Royal Jelly on Hippocampal Cannabinoid-1-Receptors and Pain Threshold in Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis in Rats as Animal Model of Multiple Sclerosis. Abstract
Cannabinoid-1-receptors (CB1R) are therapeutic targets for both the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as multiple sclerosis (MS), and some related symptoms such as pain. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of aerobic training and two dosages of royal jelly (RJ) on hippocampal CB1R and pain threshold (PT) in an experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) model. To this end, 56 female Sprague-Dawley rats with EAE were randomly assigned to one of the following eight conditions: (1) EAE; (2) sham; (3) 50 mg/kg RJ (RJ50); (4) 100 mg/kg RJ (RJ100); (5) exercise training (ET); (6) ET + RJ50; (7) ET + RJ100; and (8) not EAE or healthy control (HC). Endurance training was performed for five weeks, four sessions per week at a speed of 11–15 m/min for 30 min, and RJ was injected peritoneally at doses of 50 and 100 mg/kg/day). One-way analysis of variance and Tukey’s post hoc tests were performed to identify group-related differences in pain threshold (PT) and CB1R gene expression. Endurance training had no significant effect on PT and hippocampal CB1R in rats with EAE. CB1R gene expression levels in the RJ100 group were higher than in the EAE group. Further, PT levels in the ETRJ50 and ETRJ100 groups were higher than in the EAE group. The combination of ET and RJ50 had a higher impact on PT and CB1R, when compared to the ET and RJ50 alone. Next, there was a dose-response between RJ-induced CB1R gene expression and RJ dosages: higher dosages of RJ increased the CB1R gene expression. The overall results suggest that the combination of ET and increasing RJ dosages improved pain threshold probably related to CB1R in an EAE model, while this was not observed for ET or RJ alone.
