Abstract
Bowenoid Papulosis (BP) is an anogenital pre-malignancy. BP with immunosuppression may recur, worsen, or possibly evolve into squamous cell carcinoma or Bowen's disease (BD), and it may also become resistant to conventional treatment. Here, we describe a complex case of BP together with BD and Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma that was effectively treated with a holmium laser in conjunction with 5-Aminolevulinic Acid Photodynamic Therapy (ALA-PDT). The lesion totally vanished and the affected area remained intact with no recurrence at five years.

Abstract
Introduction: Genital condylomatosis is a highly contagious disease caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). The aim of this prospective multicentre study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Holmium:YAG (yttrium-aluminium-garnet) laser in the treatment of genital and intra-urethral warts; the secondary aim was to assess the patients' postoperative satisfaction and cosmetic results. Methods: From December 2016 to March 2019, patients with genital warts were prospectively enrolled in three hospitals. The inclusion criteria were male gender, age over 18 years-old and treatment-naïve. External and urethral genitalia warts were treated by the Holmium YAG laser. The follow-up analysis consisted of physical examination, flexible urethro-cystoscopy in case of meatal lesions, and administration of Dermatology Quality of Life Index (DLQI) and Patient Global Impression of Improvement (PGI-I) questionnaires at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months after surgery and subsequently yearly. Results: Sixty patients were enrolled. The single treatment was effective in 57/60 patients (95%). At a mean follow-up of 26 months, recurrences occurred in 8 patients (13.3%). No peri- or post-operative complication occurred. An improvement in pre-operative condition was highlighted with PGI-I and DLQI questionnaires. Conclusion: Our prospective multicentre study showed that holmium laser surgery seems to be a safe and effective treatment for external genital and urethral warts. Good dermatological outcomes aid to further improve patient satisfaction.

Abstract
A 72-year old woman who has a history of refractory vulvar lichen sclerosus(VLS) was treated with ALA-PDT for 3 times every other week,then holmium laser and ALA-PDT were combined to treat the same areas at a time.Satisfactory result was noted without any unbearable adverse effects.The combination of holmium laser therapy and ALA-PDT may further improve the efficacy with good tolerance of VLS patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Anal canal condylomata acuminata is a disease caused by the human papilloma virus. Conventional cauterizing laser treatment cannot achieve a satisfactory result owing to a high recurrence rate, and the application of 5-aminolaevulinic acid-photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) also has limitations in the anal canal. Holmium yttrium aluminum garnet (Ho: YAG) laser with fiber is found to be effective at removing canal lesions, and may create suitable conditions for ALA-PDT. We aim to investigate the feasibility of Ho: YAG laser combined with ALA-PDT and to explore a more optimal therapy in refractory anal canal condylomata. METHODS Data of 37 patients with anal canal condylomata (number of warts≥ 10 lesions) from May 2017 to March 2019 were reviewed. In total 17 cases were treated with Ho: YAG laser plus ALA-PDT, and 20 patients treated with CO2 laser plus ALA-PDT were selected as control. Wart clearance and recurrence rates were evaluated as well as laser complications. RESULTS Most warts (88.23 %) were removed after a session of Ho: YAG laser pretreatment. The average number of laser sessions required to clear all warts was 1.94 in the Ho: YAG laser plus ALA-PDT group. Meanwhile, no wound infections or defecation disfunctions were found. Ho: YAG laser with ALA-PDT could significantly reduce wart recurrence rates (17.6 %) in comparison with CO2 laser with ALA-PDT (55 %). CONCLUSIONS Ho: YAG laser combined with ALA-PDT raised the cure rate of refractory anal canal condylomata and has important guidance implications for clinical application.

Abstract
Superficial skin erosion wounds are very common in the clinic, and conventional treatments are not always effective; thus, effective and novel therapy is needed. Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) has been recognised as a promising approach to wound healing. The purpose of this study is to show the potential clinical application of CAP for the healing of different kinds of superficial skin wounds. Seven patients with different kinds of superficial skin wounds (two patients with pyoderma gangrenosum, two patients with trauma would, one patient with giant genital wart, one patient with diabetic foot, and one patient with chronic eczema) were recruited to this study. All patients accepted and received CAP treatment every other day till the wound healed. The expected results were complete wound healing after CAP treatment. All patients achieved complete wound healing after several rounds (range from two to eight) of CAP treatment, and there was no side effect observed. CAP may provide a new and effective choice to solve the problem of the healing of superficial wounds that are not only caused by trauma but also because of eczema. CAP has certain value in the treatment of superficial skin diseases in the future.

Abstract
Introduction: Genital warts in young adults aged 18-28 years are very common. Several approaches are routinely used in the treatment of warts, viz., medical treatment (podophyllin and trichloroacetic acid), conventional surgery (excision or electrocautery), cryotherapy, and laser treatment. Because of high recurrence rates after treatment, complications and long duration of treatment, newer modalities have been developed. One of these newer methods is laser, which has been used in several urologic diseases. However, there are only a few studies about use of Holmium laser for treatment of genital warts. This retrospective study compared the success rate of Holmium laser with other available treatments for genital warts. Methods: Between October 2011 and May 2016, 142 patients with genital warts attended the urology clinics at Shohada-e-Tajrish hospital in Tehran, Iran. Out of these, a total of 101 patients were included in this study consisting of 42, 39, 11 and 9 patients treated with cryotherapy, laser, conventional surgery and podophyllin respectively. Results: The most successfully cleared lesions were seen in the holmium laser treatment group (P=0.001). The lowest recurrence rate was observed in the holmium laser treatment group (P=0.001). 17 patients had one of these following problems: dysuria, initial hematuria or a change in the force and caliber of their urinary stream that after physical examination showed them to have a meatal wart. These patients then underwent cystoscopy up to urinary sphincter. All of them in addition to the meatus wart had a penile shaft lesion(s). Thirteen patients had meatal lesions, 9 of whom received holmium laser therapy and 4 patients were treated with electrocautery. Based on routine follow up after treatment, none of the patients treated with holmium laser had urinary stricture, but one case treated with electrocautery returned with a penile urethral stricture. Conclusion: This study showed that treatment with Holmium laser has the highest clearance rate (92.2%) and lowest recurrence rate (14.3%) compared to other available treatments in this study. It may be concluded that holmium laser is a safe and effective treatment for genital warts with a low rate of recurrence.
