Abstract
Anogenital warts (AGW) including multiple types of human papillomavirus (HPV) are prevalent. In this context, oncogenic HPV infection leads to anogenital cancers and the lesion is more persistent. Several research on AGW therapy with measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine injections have been successful without adverse effects. However, the effects of MMR immunotherapy for AGW on multiple HPV infections have not been reported. This research is a case report of AGW in a 17-year-old male treated with MMR. The inclusion criteria specified young age, indicative of a strong immunological status. Meanwhile, the exclusion criteria comprised immunocompromised conditions, such as HIV confirmed to be negative. Dermatological examination showed that the pubic region and penile shaft presented 51 verrucous papules for 6 months, with histopathological results supporting the diagnosis of AGW. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) examination reported the inclusion of HPV types 6, 11, and 16. The subcutaneous MMR vaccine was injected into the deltoid area every 2 weeks for three sessions. Meanwhile, the treatment response was assessed by counting the number and measuring the size of the lesion. After three sessions of MMR immunotherapy, there was no improvement in the size or quantity of lesions. Based on previous reports, a higher clearance rate for MMR immunotherapy was found in warts with a duration of < 6 months, while oncogenic HPV genotypes, particularly HPV type 16, take longer to clear than others. The efficacy of subcutaneous MMR injection for AGW treatment was unfavorable due to oncogenic HPV types. AGW treated with MMR immunotherapy should investigate oncogenic HPV genotype. However, further research needs to be carried out to justify this conclusion due to the limitations.

Abstract
Recent studies that examined the treatment efficacy of Candida antigen injection for both non-genital and genital warts yield inconsistent results. To address this, a systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted, comparing the treatment response between Candida antigen injection therapy and other intralesional immunotherapies across all types of warts. PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Embase were searched for relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs) from inception to 16 September 2023, and 24 eligible RCTs were identified. A protocol was developed using the PRISM A-P checklist. In terms of complete clearance, intralesional Candida injection therapy demonstrated a significant improvement compared with saline (risk ratio [RR] 5.39; 95% confidence interval [CI] 3.49-8.33; I2=0%). However, no statistically significant differences were observed when compared with other therapies such as mumps-measles-rubella vaccines, purified protein derivative, vitamin D3, bivalent human papillomavirus vaccine, and zinc sulphate. Adverse effects associated with intralesional Candida therapy were generally reported as mild and manageable. In conclusion, intralesional Candida injection therapy for cutaneous warts may exhibit a superior complete and distant response rate. Nevertheless, owing to a limited sample size and other limitations, future research should aim for larger studies to provide more conclusive evidence.

Abstract
Intralesional therapies are used for recalcitrant warts, but no Food and Drug Administration-approved treatment exists nor is there consensus regarding the most efficacious therapy. Therefore, this systematic review aims to summarize efficacy and adverse events reported in 62 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of intralesional therapies for cutaneous warts. The most studied intralesional therapies included measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine (n = 24 studies), purified protein derivative (PPD) (n = 19 studies), vitamin D3 (n = 15 studies), and Candida antigen (n = 14 studies). Most studies included adult and pediatric patients or adults alone, with only 4 studies on pediatric patients alone. MMR vaccine was the most studied treatment (n = 853 patients). MMR had a complete response rate of 27-90%. The next most common treatment, PPD, had a complete response rate of 45-87%. Other treatments included Candida antigen and vitamin D3, with complete response rates of 25-84% and 40-96%, respectively. The most frequent side effects were injection-site reactions and flu-like symptoms. This systematic review represents a useful summary of intralesional therapy RCTs for clinician reference. This study also highlights the lack of large multi-institutional RCTs, despite many patients being treated for this widespread problem.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Warts are the most prevalent clinical manifestation of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infections, which vary in morphological pattern depending on the site of the body affected. OBJECTIVES To evaluate the safety and efficacy of intralesional quadrivalent HPV vaccine versus candida antigen in treatment of multiple recalcitrant non-genital warts. METHODS A randomized-control clinical trial included 60 cases with multiple recalcitrant warts who were randomly distributed into three groups; Group I included 20 patients who received intralesional candida antigen at a dose of 0.3 mL of 1/1000 solution, Group II included 20 patients who received intralesional quadrivalent HPV vaccine at a dose of 0.3ml and Group III included 20 patients who received intralesional injection 0.3 ml of normal saline 0.9% as a control group). Each agent was injected at the base of the largest wart every three weeks until it was completely cleared, or for a total of four sessions. RESULTS the highest response rate was detected in the quadrivalent HPV vaccine group (75% complete response) followed by the candida vaccine group (40% complete response and 15% partial response). Also, regarding the distant response rate, the highest response rate was detected in the quadrivalent HPV vaccine group (72.7% complete response and 27.3% partial response) followed by the candida vaccine group (33.3% complete response and 50% partial response). CONCLUSIONS Intralesional immunotherapy appears to be effective and safe in treating multiple recalcitrant non-genital warts, with intralesional quadrivalent HPV vaccine outperforming intralesional candida antigen.

Abstract
Introduction Various treatments available today for anogenital and cutaneous warts have limitations, including time-consuming, challenging to perform, and the risk of scarring. A new treatment using tuberculin purified protein derivative (PPD) has been developed, which is expected to generate cellular immunity against HPV. Objective To assess the evidence for the efficacy and safety of PPD treatment for cutaneous and anogenital warts. Materials and methods A literature search was performed with the keyword-based search on digital libraries, including the National Library of Medicine, Cochrane Controlled Register of Trial, and Google Scholar, using the following terms: anogenital warts, condyloma acuminata, cutaneous warts, human papillomavirus, immunotherapy, and tuberculin purified protein derivative. Original studies on treating cutaneous or anogenital warts with PPD were included. The results were 47 clinical trials and 4 case reports. Most of the research was done in countries with common Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. The treatment showed good efficacy. Comparative studies showed that the treatment has similar efficacy with other immunotherapies. No significant side effects were reported, with evidence of the safety use on the pregnant population. Conclusion Based on good efficacy and safety, PPD can be considered an alternative therapy, especially in countries where tuberculosis is frequent.

Abstract
Anogenital warts (AGWs) are globally recognized as the most common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), particularly types 6 and 11. Meanwhile, immunotherapy is one of the treatments of choice for patients with extensive AGWs. Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine induce the production of various T helper 1 cytokines to elicit immune responses, resulting in the clearance of both treated and untreated warts. This study reported a case of extensive genital and extragenital warts in a 53-year-old male which had occurred for five years, with no pseudo-Koebner phenomenon. The history of MMR vaccination was uncertain but the patient received oral antibiotics for one week, one month before seeking consultation. Physical examination showed extensive verrucous and hyperkeratotic papules, plaques, and nodules in the lower abdomen, pubic, inguinal, genital, and gluteal regions. Acetowhite test results were positive, while polymerase chain reaction (PCR) results were positive for HPV types 6 and 11. The patient received an intralesional injection of 0.5 mL MMR vaccine into the largest warts with a 3-week interval. However, during the one-month follow-up after the third injection, no improvement was observed in either the size or number of warts. Based on the results, several factors must be considered to determine the best candidate for immunotherapy, particularly with MMR vaccine, to achieve an optimal outcome. These factors include the active state of diseases, duration of diseases, as well as a history of sensitization, and broad-spectrum antibiotics.

Abstract
DESIGN Interventional, prospective, four arm randomized control. SETTING Outpatient department, Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology, AIIMS Jodhpur (Rajasthan), India. PARTICIPANTS Two hundred patients. METHODS The intervention administered in the groups were normal saline (A), vitamin D3 (B), MIP (C), and MMR (D). The injections were given into the largest wart at 2-weekly intervals until complete clearance or for a maximum of seven sittings. Post-treatment clearance of the injected wart and the distant wart was compared on the basis of change in wart number, percentage clearance, and mean time to complete clearance. Side effects were recorded. RESULTS A total of 197 patients were recruited. The mean percentage improvement in the injected and non-injected warts was 68.4% and 66.8%, respectively. Intention to treat analysis (ITT) showed that complete clearance of lesions in injected wart occurred in placebo, vit D3 , MMR, and MIP arms in 64%, 66%, 58%, and 55% patients, respectively (p > 0.05), while in the non-injected warts in 62%, 64%, 52%, and 53%, respectively (p > 0.05). The mean time to achieve complete clearance of wart was fastest in MIP at 7.1 weeks followed by MMR at 7.2 weeks, VIT D3 at 7.4 weeks and in placebo group 7.8 weeks (p > 0.05). Side effects noted were fever, pain, erythema, and swelling which was highest in VIT D3 group (p < 0.05). CONCLUSION The efficacy of immunotherapies was comparable to placebo with minimal side effects.

Abstract
Vitiligo is a prevalent depigmentation disorder affecting around 1% of the general population. So far, various Genome Wide Association Studies (GWAS) and Candidate Gene Association Studies (CGAS) have identified several single nucleotide variants (SNVs) as a risk factor for vitiligo. Nonetheless, little has been discerned regarding their direct functional significance to the disease pathogenesis. In this study, we did extensive data mining and downstream analysis using several experimentally validated datasets like GTEx Portal and web tools like rSNPBase, RegulomeDB, HaploReg and STRING to prioritize 13 SNVs from a set of 291SNVs that have been previously reported to be associated with vitiligo. We also prioritized their underlying/target genes and tried annotating their functional contribution to vitiligo pathogenesis. Our analysis revealed genes like FGFR10P, SUOX, CDK5RAP1 and RERE that have never been implicated in vitiligo previously to have strong potentials to contribute to the disease pathogenesis. The study is the first of its kind to prioritize and functionally annotate vitiligo-associated GWAS and CGAS SNVs and their underlying/target genes, based on functional data available in the public domain database.
