Abstract
BACKGROUND A large number of studies have shown that osteoporosis is closely related to bone immunology. The purpose of this study is to conduct bibliometrics and visual analysis of the fields related to osteoimmunology and osteoporosis from 2013 to 2022 and to summarize the research hotspots and trends in this field. METHODS We searched the Web of Science core collection database for articles on osteoimmunology and osteoporosis published between 2013 and 2022. Vosviewer 1.6.18 and CiteSpace.6.2. R4 were used to analyze the retrieved data. RESULTS A total of 3218 articles on osteoimmunology and osteoporosis were included in this study. A total of 76 countries, 347 institutions, and 502 authors were included in the articles examined in this study. The main research countries were China, the United States, and South Korea. Shanghai Jiaotong University, Harvard University, and the University of California system were the main research institutions. The author who published the most papers was Xu, Jiake. CONCLUSIONS This study is the first to summarize the global research trends in the field of osteoimmunology and osteoporosis from 2013 to 2022. That helps researchers quickly understand the research hotspots and directions in this field.

Abstract
Background Peripartum respiratory complications are a major reason for pregnant women's admission to the ICU, even endangers the maternal life. This bibliometric analysis was designed to elucidate the spectrum of diseases and risk factors for various respiratory complications during the peripartum period, as well as the future research directions in this field. Methods Relevant publications were downloaded from the Web of Science Core Collection on November 1, 2023. CiteSpace was utilized for conducting the scientometric study. Results A total of 2,331 articles and reviews on respiratory complications during pregnancy published between 2004 and 2023 were retrieved, comprising 87,244 co-cited references, originating from 568 institutions across 104 countries/regions. The United States emerged as the leading country in this domain, with Harvard University standing out as the most actively engaged institution. Bibliometric analysis reveals that the current research hotspots include "COVID-19 pandemic," "venous thromboembolism," "respiratory distress syndrome" and "cardiovascular diseases." Meanwhile, "venous thromboembolism," cytokine storm" and supportive management such as "extracorporeal membrane oxygenation" might represent potential future research directions. Conclusion Over the past two decades, research on respiratory system complications in pregnancy has continually evolved. This study contributes to enabling researchers in the related field to understand future research hotspots and trends, providing information on potential collaborators, institutions, countries, and citation references.

Abstract
Purpose Trabecular bone score (TBS), as a texture indicator of bone microarchitecture, predicts the risk of fracture. This study aims to explore the knowledge map of TBS. Methods We searched Scopus for "trabecular bone score" or "trabecular score" from the beginning to 2021. Our inclusion criteria were original articles and reviews that were related to TBS and our exclusion criteria were non-English articles, non-related to TBS, and document type other than original articles and reviews. and related documents were included for bibliometric analysis. Excel, VOS viewer, and Science of Science (Sci2) software were used for data synthesis. Results From 749 retrieved articles, 652 articles were included for analysis. These documents were cited 12,153 times and had an H-index of 56. The most productivity belonged to the USA (n = 130 documents), Switzerland (n = 101), and Italy (n = 67). "Osteoporosis International" (n = 80) had the highest participation in publishing. The research topics of interest were mainly related to the applicability of TBS for fracture risk assessment in chronic endocrine disorders such as osteoporosis and diabetes mellitus. Bursting analysis of the title and abstract revealed the initial focus of the discriminative power of TBS for osteoporotic fracture and the more recent focus on comparing bone mineral density (BMD) and TBS in a variety of chronic diseases. Conclusion The number of annual publications on TBS has increased, especially after 2016. These publications highlight the importance of in-depth knowledge of TBS in predicting fracture risk and also its strengths and limitations of treatment monitoring in different health conditions. Abstract
Osteoporotic fractures are the most severe complications of osteoporosis, characterized by poor bone quality, difficult realignment and fixation, slow fracture healing, and a high risk of recurrence. Clinically managing these fractures is relatively challenging, and in the context of rapid aging, they pose significant social hazards. The rapid advancement of disciplines such as biophysics and biochemistry brings new opportunities for future medical diagnosis and treatment. However, there has been limited attention to precision diagnosis and treatment strategies for osteoporotic fractures both domestically and internationally. In response to this, the Chinese Medical Association Orthopaedic Branch Youth Osteoporosis Group, Chinese Geriatrics Society Geriatric Orthopaedics Committee, Chinese Medical Doctor Association Orthopaedic Physicians Branch Youth Committee Osteoporosis Group, and Shanghai Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Osteoporosis Professional Committee have collaborated to develop this consensus. It aims to elucidate emerging technologies that may play a pivotal role in both diagnosis and treatment, advocating for clinicians to embrace interdisciplinary approaches and incorporate these new technologies into their practice. Ultimately, the goal is to improve the prognosis and quality of life for elderly patients with osteoporotic fractures.

Abstract
Identifying the gaps in scientific production in a topic allows directing research in order to make better public investment decisions. Bibliometric data on osteoporosis in Latin America are very limited and unclear and, given the impact of this disease in this region, it is relevant to analyze the latest trends in the subject. The study approach was quantitative, observational-descriptive, cross-sectional. Data were collected from journals indexed in Scopus between 1990 and 2019, using a search strategy that included Medical Subject Headings terms for "Osteoporosis" and other related terms, as well as VOSviewer software to create cooperative and co-occurrence word maps. 3261 documents were analyzed, with an annual scientific production rate of 5% (163 documents), where 73.9% were original articles. The countries with the highest scientific production in osteoporosis were Brazil (55.2%) and Argentina (18%). Extra-regional cooperation was mainly with the United States (16.35%) and Spain (5.18%). Six of the 10 most productive countries had their own government agencies as the main funders. The National Council for Scientific and Technological Development was the institution that funded the most (n = 194). The term "osteoporosis" together with the terms "bone mineral density," "fractures," and "menopause" were the most frequently addressed subjects. Latin American scientific production in osteoporosis has shown a significant increase. However, in the last 3 years it has shown a slight reduction. Greater intraregional collaboration involving universities, institutions and health societies is needed.

Abstract
Background Research on diabetes remission has garnered prominence in recent years. However, to date, no pertinent bibliometric study has been published. This study sought to elucidate the current landscape and pinpoint potential new research directions through a bibliometric analysis of diabetes remission. Methods We perused relevant articles on diabetes remission from January 1, 2000, to April 16, 2023, in the Web of Science. We utilized CiteSpace software and VOSviewer software to construct knowledge maps and undertake analysis of countries, institutional affiliations, author contributions, journals, and keywords. This analysis facilitated the identification of current research foci and forecasting future trends. Results A total of 970 English articles were procured, and the annual publication volume manifested a steady growth trend. Most of the articles originated from America (n=342, 35.26%), succeeded by China and England. Pertaining to institutions, the University of Newcastle in England proliferated the most articles (n=36, 3.71%). Taylor R authored the most articles (n=35, 3.61%), and his articles were also the most co-cited (n=1756 times). Obesity Surgery dominated in terms of published articles (n=81, 8.35%). "Bariatric surgery" was the most prevalently used keyword. The keyword-clustering map revealed that the research predominantly centered on diabetes remission, type 1 diabetes, bariatric surgery, and lifestyle interventions. The keyword emergence and keyword time-zone maps depicted hotspots and shifts in the domain of diabetes remission. Initially, the hotspots were primarily fundamental experiments probing the feasibilities and mechanisms of diabetes remission, such as transplantation. Over the course, the research trajectory transitioned from basic to clinical concerning diabetes remission through bariatric surgery, lifestyle interventions, and alternative strategies. Conclusion Over the preceding 20 years, the domain of diabetes remission has flourished globally. Bariatric surgery and lifestyle interventions bestow unique advantages for diabetes remission. Via the maps, the developmental milieu, research foci, and avant-garde trends in this domain are cogently portrayed, offering guidance for scholars.
