Abstract
The existing body of evidence has highlighted gut microbiota as a versatile regulator of body wellness affecting not only multiple physiological metabolisms but also the function of remote organs. Emerging studies revealed a reciprocal relationship between physical exercise and intestinal microbiota, suggesting that physical exercise could enhance gut health, including regulating intestinal barrier integrity, increasing microbial diversity, and promoting beneficial microbial metabolism. Furthermore, the beneficial outcomes of exercise on the intestine may also promote brain health through the gut-brain axis. Diet is an important factor in boosting exercise performance and also greatly impacts the structure of gut microbiota. Abundant research has reported that diet alongside exercise could exert beneficial effects on metabolism, immune regulation, and the neuropsychiatric system. In this paper, we used a narrative review, primarily searching PubMed, Web of Science, and Elsevier, to review the existing research on how moderate-intensity exercise promotes gut health, and we introduced the effects of exercise on the nervous system through the gut-brain axis. We also proposed dietary strategies targeting the regulation of gut microbiota to provide guidelines for boosting brain health. This review highlights that moderate exercise and a healthy diet promote gut and brain health.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Precision health is a person-centered approach to health and well-being that is operationalized through evaluating omics-level profiles and their associations with the exposome. A precision health approach addresses the challenge that "one size does not fit all" in the management of an individual's health. PURPOSE The purpose of this white paper is to introduce a Precision Health Model and its application in research and clinical care. METHODS An expert panel reviewed and synthesized the extant literature related to precision health, the current state of omics' science, and common exposome factors that influence the health/illness continuum. A case study provides the framework for the application of the Precision Health Model. DISCUSSION Precision health and key domains are defined and serve as the platform for the development of the Precision Health Model. CONCLUSION Application of the Precision Health Model will provide inclusive, equitable, person-centered research and clinical care.

Abstract
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease that primarily affects joints and multiple organs and systems, which is long-lasting and challenging to cure and significantly impacting patients' quality of life. Alterations in the composition of intestinal flora in both preclinical and confirmed RA patients indicate that intestinal bacteria play a vital role in RA immune function. However, the mechanism by which the intestinal flora is regulated to improve the condition of RA is not fully understood. This paper reviews the methods of regulating gut microbiota and its metabolites through prebiotics, probiotics, and pharmacological interventions, and discusses their effects on RA. Additionally, it explores the potential predictive role of cellular therapy mechanisms of intestinal flora in treating RA. These findings suggest that restoring the ecological balance of intestinal flora and regulating intestinal barrier function may enhance immune system function, thereby improving rheumatoid arthritis. This offers new insights into its treatment.

Abstract
Introduction Alterations in cognitive performance are associated with inadequate nutritional states and diet composition. Prebiotics, such as inulin, are substances that can modulate the gut microbiome and, consequently, brain function by producing metabolites such as short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs). This study aimed to evaluate the effect of supplementation with inulin on cognitive flexibility, body composition, and gut microbiota in a murine model exposed to a high-fat (HF) diet. Methods CD1 mice were divided into five groups: control fed a standard diet (C), high-fat diet (HF), inulin (I), high-fat diet with inulin (HFI), and manipulation control (M). Dietary supplementation was administered for 6 weeks. Cognitive flexibility was assessed using the Attentional Set-Shifting Test (AST). In addition, body composition was measured via electrical bioimpedance and adipose tissue compartments of each mouse were removed and weighed. Finally, gut microbiota metataxonomic was analyzed through metataxonomic bacterial 16S rRNA sequencing. Results We observed that HF group required more AST trials than the C, HFI, and I groups in the compound discrimination (CD) and extra-dimensional (ED) stages. Notably, the HFI group required fewer trials than the HF group in the ED stage (p = 0.0187). No significant differences in overall body composition were observed between the groups. However, the percentage of gonadal and peritoneal adipose tissue was significantly higher in the HF and I groups compared to the C group. Statistically significant differences in alpha diversity for gut microbiota were observed using the Shannon, Simpson, and Chao1 indices. The I group showed a decrease in bacterial diversity compared to the HF group. While no differences were observed between groups in the phyla Bacillota and Bacteroidotes, Clostridium bacteria represented a lower proportion of sequences in the I group compared to the C group. Additionally, Lactobacillus represented a lower proportion of sequences in the HF group compared to the C and I groups. Discussion These findings suggest that supplementation with inulin could be a useful approach to mitigate the negative effects of an HF diet on cognitive flexibility and modulate gut microbiota composition.

Abstract
Cellular senescence, a process in which a cell exits the cell cycle in response to stressors, is one of the hallmarks of aging. Senescence and the senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP)-a heterogeneous set of secreted factors that disrupt tissue homeostasis and promote the accumulation of senescent cells-reprogram metabolism and can lead to metabolic dysfunction. Dietary interventions have long been studied as methods to combat age-associated metabolic dysfunction, promote health, and increase lifespan. A growing body of literature suggests that senescence is responsive to diet, both to calories and specific dietary macronutrients, and that the metabolic benefits of dietary interventions may arise in part through reducing senescence. Here, we review what is currently known about dietary macronutrients' effect on senescence and the SASP, the nutrient-responsive molecular mechanisms that may mediate these effects, and the potential for these findings to inform the development of a nutrigeroscience approach to healthy aging.

Abstract
Metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) includes several metabolic dysfunctions caused by dysregulation in the brain-gut-liver axis and, consequently, increases cardiovascular risks and fatty liver dysfunction. In MAFLD, type 2 diabetes mellitus, obesity, and metabolic syndrome are frequently present; these conditions are related to liver lipogenesis and systemic inflammation. This study aimed to review the connection between the brain-gut-liver axis and MAFLD. The inflammatory process, cellular alterations in hepatocytes and stellate cells, hypercaloric diet, and sedentarism aggravate the prognosis of patients with MAFLD. Thus, to understand the modulation of the physiopathology of MAFLD, it is necessary to include the organokines involved in this process (adipokines, myokines, osteokines, and hepatokines) and their clinical relevance to project future perspectives of this condition and bring to light new possibilities in therapeutic approaches. Adipokines are responsible for the activation of distinct cellular signaling in different tissues, such as insulin and pro-inflammatory cytokines, which is important for balancing substances to avoid MAFLD and its progression. Myokines improve the quantity and quality of adipose tissues, contributing to avoiding the development of MAFLD. Finally, hepatokines are decisive in improving or not improving the progression of this disease through the regulation of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory organokines.
