Abstract
Background Chronic low back pain (CLBP) is a common issue among the working-age population. Sleeping position may affect CLBP, with the prone position commonly suggested to be avoided. This study aims to examine the relationship between preferred and avoided sleeping positions and to explore the frequency of increased pain in various sleeping positions among patients with nonspecific CLBP and pain and disability levels. Methods This cross-sectional study included all adult patients referred for specialist consultation for CLBP at the outpatient clinic of the Central Hospital of Central Finland's spine department. Pain intensity was measured using a visual analog scale (VAS), and disability was assessed with the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). Patients completed a questionnaire detailing the main sleeping positions and positions avoided due to low back pain (LBP). Results The study enrolled 375 consecutive patients, with a mean age of 51 ± 17 years; 64% (n=240) were female. The mean VAS score was 63 ± 24, and the mean Oswestry Index was 38 ± 18%. The majority of patients (87%, n=327) reported sleeping in a side-lying position, followed by supine (47%, n=176) and prone (22%, n=82) positions. A negative correlation was found between age and the preference for sleeping in the prone position. No significant gender differences in sleep positions were observed (p=0.69). Sleep was disturbed in 77% of patients (n=289) due to LBP, and 87% (n=327) reported difficulties due to LBP when getting up. Overall, 92% of participants (n=345) experienced difficulties sleeping or getting up in the morning due to LBP. Many patients avoided certain positions due to pain: 42% (n=157) avoided the prone position, 35% (n=131) the back, 15% (n=56) the left side, and 13% (n=49) the right side. Although the prone position was most commonly linked with pain, especially among women, our findings suggest that any sleeping position could potentially exacerbate pain in individuals with CLBP. Conclusions This study highlights the variability in how sleeping positions affect pain in patients with nonspecific CLBP. While the prone position is most frequently associated with increased pain, individual preferences and responses vary significantly, and often sidelying and supine positions provoke pain. The diversity in sleeping positions that exacerbate pain highlights the need for tailored advice in the management of patients with CLBP.

Abstract
(1) Background: This exploratory study aims to explore the relationship between nonspecific chronic spinal pain (nCSP) and insomnia symptoms, by examining the interconnections, strengths, and directional dependence of the symptoms. In addition, we aim to identify the key symptoms of the nCSP-insomnia relationship and shed light on the bidirectional nature of this relationship. (2) Methods: This study is a secondary analysis of the baseline data (cross-sectional) from a randomized controlled trial, which examined the added value of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) combined with cognition-targeted exercise therapy, conducted in collaboration with the Universiteit Gent and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). One hundred and twenty-three nCSP patients with comorbid insomnia were recruited through the participating hospitals, advertisements, announcements in local newspapers, pharmacies, publications from support groups, and primary care. To explore the interconnections and directionality between symptoms and the strengths of the relationships, we estimated a regularized Gaussian graphical model and a directed acyclic graph. (3) Results: We found only one direct, but weak, link between sleep and pain, namely, between average pain and difficulties maintaining sleep. (4) Conclusions: Despite the lack of strong direct links between sleep and pain, pain and sleep seem to be indirectly linked via anxiety and depression symptoms, acting as presumable mediators in the network of nCSP and comorbid insomnia. Furthermore, feeling slowed down and fatigue emerged as terminal nodes, implying their role as consequences of the network.

Abstract
We conducted an explorative prospective cohort study with 6 months follow-up to 1) identify different pain and disability trajectories following an episode of acute neck pain, and 2) assess whether neuroimmune/endocrine, psychological, behavioral, nociceptive processing, clinical outcome, demographic and management-related factors differ between these trajectories. Fifty people with acute neck pain (ie, within 2 weeks of onset) were included. At baseline, and at 2, 4, 6, 12, and 26 weeks follow-up, various neuroimmune/endocrine (eg, inflammatory cytokines and endocrine factors), psychological (eg, stress symptoms), behavioral (eg, sleep disturbances), nociceptive processing (eg, condition pain modulation), clinical outcome (eg, trauma), demographic factors (eg, age), and management-related factors (eg, treatment received) were assessed. Latent class models were performed to identify outcome trajectories for neck pain and disability. Linear mixed models or the Pearson chi-square test were used to evaluate differences in these factors between the trajectories at baseline and at each follow-up assessment and over the entire 6 months period. For pain, 3 trajectories were identified. The majority of patients were assigned to the "Moderate pain - Favourable recovery" trajectory (n = 25; 50%) with smaller proportions assigned to the "Severe pain - Favourable recovery" (n = 16; 32%) and the "Severe pain - Unfavourable recovery" (n = 9; 18%) trajectories. For disability, 2 trajectories were identified: "Mild disability - Favourable recovery" (n = 43; 82%) and "Severe disability - Unfavourable recovery" (n = 7; 18%). Ongoing systemic inflammation (increased high-sensitive C-reactive protein), sleep disturbances, and elevated psychological factors (such as depression, stress and anxiety symptoms) were mainly present in the unfavorable outcome trajectories compared to the favorable outcome trajectories. PERSPECTIVE: Using exploratory analyses, different recovery trajectories for acute neck pain were identified based on disability and pain intensity. These trajectories were influenced by systemic inflammation, sleep disturbances, and psychological factors.

Abstract
This network meta-analysis aimed to estimate the comparative effectiveness of non-pharmacological interventions on sleep in individuals with chronic musculoskeletal pain. Seven databases were systematically searched up to February 2023. A random-effects network meta-analysis in a frequentist framework was performed to synthesize continuous data as standardized mean differences (SMD) along with a 95% confidence interval (95% CI). A total of 15,641 records were identified, and 107 randomized controlled trials involving 8,121 participants were included. Of 14 identified interventions, eight were significantly more effective than passive control in improving sleep quality at immediate post-intervention (SMDs = 0.67-0.74), with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) being the most effective treatment (SMD = 0.74, 95% CI: 0.45-1.03). Only CBT demonstrated sustained effects at short-term (SMD = 1.56; 95% CI: 0.62-2.49) and mid-term (SMD = 1.23; 95% CI: 0.44-2.03) follow-ups. Furthermore, CBT significantly improved subjective (SMD = 0.64; 95% CI: 0.25-1.03) and objective (SMD = 0.30; 95% CI: 0.01-0.59) sleep efficiency compared with passive control at immediate post-intervention. Our findings support CBT as the first-line treatment for improving sleep in individuals with chronic musculoskeletal pain, given its superior effectiveness across multiple sleep outcomes and its sustainable effects until mid-term follow-up. However, the certainty of evidence for these interventions in improving sleep quality was very low to low.

Abstract
There is growing recognition of the demands and health challenges experienced by esports athletes. The purpose of this perspective paper is to draw specific attention to the mental health of competitive gamers and spur on both future research and applied initiatives focussing on this important but under-addressed topic. We will briefly discuss the prevalence of mental health concerns, domain-specific stressors, and the need for comprehensive mental health support systems tailored to the esports context. It is our hope that, with this perspective paper, we can help set a new research agenda addressing mental health in esports.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Chronic spinal pain (CSP) is a major public health problem worldwide, frequently related to sleep problems. Central sensitization (CS) may worsen the clinical picture of CSP patients with insomnia. The aim of this study was to compare self-reported and objectively measured clinical outcomes between insomniac CSP patients with comorbid insomnia with and without symptoms of CS. METHODS A case-control study on baseline self-reported sleep, functioning, and psychological distress through online questionnaires. Objective sleep and physical activity parameters and pressure pain thresholds (PPTs) were assessed through polysomnography, actigraphy, and digital algometry, respectively. Independent sample t-test and Mann-Whitney U tests were used to examine possible differences in the outcome measures between the groups. RESULTS Data from 123 participants were included and revealed no statistically significant group for objective sleep and physical activity parameters. The CS group, however, presented with worse self-reported sleep (quality sleep, insomnia severity, and dysfunctional beliefs about sleep), increased mental and physical fatigue, and higher psychological distress (anxiety and depressive symptoms), and reported lower PPTs. CONCLUSIONS symptoms of CS may influence perceived sleep and affect functional health and well-being perception but do not seem to affect objective sleep and physical activity.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Chronic diseases often accumulate with musculoskeletal (MSK) pain. However, less evidence is available on idiosyncratic patterns of chronic diseases and their relationships with the severity of MSK pain in general MSK pain populations. MATERIAL AND METHODS Questionnaire-based data on physician-diagnosed chronic diseases, MSK pain and its dimensions (frequency, intensity, bothersomeness, and the number of pain sites), and confounders were collected from the Northern Finland Birth Cohort 1966 at the age of 46. Latent Class Analysis (LCA) was used to identify chronic disease clusters among individuals who reported any MSK pain within the previous year (n = 6105). The associations between chronic disease clusters, pain dimensions, and severe MSK pain, which was defined as prolonged (over 30 d within the preceding year), bothersome (Numerical Rating Scale >5), and multisite (two or more pain sites) pain, were analyzed using logistic regression and general linear regression models, adjusted for sex and educational level (n for the full sample = 4768). RESULTS LCA resulted in three clusters: Metabolic (10.8% of the full sample), Psychiatric (2.9%), and Relatively Healthy (86.3%). Compared to the Relatively Healthy cluster, the Metabolic and Psychiatric clusters had higher odds for daily pain and higher mean pain intensity, bothersomeness, and the number of pain sites. Similarly, the odds for severe MSK pain were up to 75% (95% confidence interval: 44%-113%) and 155% (81%-259%) higher in the Metabolic and Psychiatric clusters, respectively, after adjustments for sex and educational level. CONCLUSIONS Distinct patterns of chronic disease accumulation can be identified in the general MSK pain population. It seems that mental and metabolic health are at interplay with severe MSK pain. These findings suggest a potential need to screen for psychiatric and metabolic entities of health when treating working-aged people with MSK pain.Key messagesThis large study on middle-aged people with musculoskeletal pain aimed to examine the idiosyncratic patterns of chronic diseases and their relationships with the severity of musculoskeletal pain. Latent class cluster analysis identified three chronic disease clusters: Psychiatric, Metabolic, and Relatively Healthy. People with accumulated mental (Psychiatric cluster) or metabolic diseases (Metabolic cluster) experienced more severe pain than people who were relatively healthy (Relatively Healthy cluster). These findings suggest a potential need to screen for psychiatric and metabolic entities of health when treating working-aged people with MSK pain.

Abstract
Chronic low back pain (CLBP) is common in primary care, causing disability and economic burden globally. We aimed to compare socio-demographic, health, lifestyle, and psychological factors in people with and without CLBP and correlate them with clinical outcomes in people with CLBP. A total of 253 volunteers with and 116 without CLBP provided sociodemographic information, daily habits, medical history, subjective sleep complaints (Penn State Sleep Questionnaire), low back pain intensity, and disability (Quebec Back Pain Disability Scale), as well as the Zung Self-Rating Scale for self-assessment of depression and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale. CLBP diagnosis was linked with female gender and older age, as well as a higher level of sleep complaints such as sleepiness, OSA and insomnia symptoms, and a higher prevalence of moderate to severe depressive symptoms. The combination of moderate to severe depressive symptoms with obstructive sleep apnea or insomnia symptoms was the most important predictive factor for functional disability in CBLP patients (OR 13.686, 95% CI 4.581-40.885; p < 0.001). In conclusion, depressive symptoms and subjective sleep complaints appear to relate to greater CLBP intensity and/or CLBP-related disability in people with CLBP. A holistic approach is crucial for treating chronic CLBP patients, including psychological and sleep issue assessment and management, to improve their quality of life.

Abstract
In many countries, the consumption of illicit opioids is rising, becoming a major public health issue called the "opioid crisis". Many reasons contribute to this phenomenon. One of them is opioid misuse, defined as the use of legally prescribed opioids for a purpose different than pain treatment. This matter has not been well studied in Poland, where the opioid crisis has not been identified so far. This study was conducted among patients admitted for elective surgery with opioid-based postoperative pain treatment. The frequency of opioid misuse was found to be 10.8% in a sample comprising 92 patients. The group of individuals with potential opioid use disorder had a more frequent history of inadequately controlled postoperative pain compared to the group of non-misusers (p = 0.023). Furthermore, this group asked to receive additional pain treatment almost six times more often than the control group (p < 0.000). Also, patients declaring opioid misuse reported substantial differences concerning their knowledge and opinions about pain treatment and opioid analgesics: supporting the administration of opioids for pain when needed, finding opioids less harmful, and supporting messages that opioids are safe, effective, well-tolerated, easy to cutoff more often than control. There is an urgent need for the education of patients to avoid the spreading of the opioid crisis.

Abstract
Background Sleep problems (insomnia) and chronic pain are associated. Chronic pain and insomnia/insufficient sleep quality share similar symptoms and features. Although they have a bidirectional relationship, more research is needed to understand how they interact via mediators and how moderators influence this relationship. Aims In this large clinical registry-based cohort study (N = 6,497), we investigate important mediators between insomnia and pain intensity in a cross-sectional sample of chronic pain patients using advanced path analysis. In addition, we investigate whether some background variables were moderators of the identified important paths or not and the correlation patterns between insomnia and pain intensity in relation to the mediators. Methods This study includes a cohort of adult patients with chronic non-cancer pain from the Swedish Quality Registry for Pain Rehabilitation (SQRP) with data on patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) (2008-2016). The PROMs cover the background, pain aspects, psychological distress, pain-related cognitions, activity/participation, and health-related quality of life variables of the patients. Partial least squares structural equation modeling was used to explore the direct and indirect (via mediators) relationships between insomnia and pain intensity at baseline. Results In this cohort study, insomnia was prevalent at 62.3%, and both direct and indirect mediating paths were present for the insomnia-pain intensity relationship. All of the mediating effects combined were weaker than the direct effect between insomnia and pain intensity. The mediating effects via catastrophizing and acceptance showed the strongest and equal mediating paths, and mediating effects via fear avoidance were the second strongest. Insomnia showed stronger direct significant correlations with psychological distress, catastrophizing, and acceptance compared with those of pain intensity. Sex, age, education level, spatial extent of pain, or body mass index did not moderate the mediating paths. Discussion and conclusion This study confirms the existence of significant direct and mediating paths between reported insomnia and pain intensity. Future studies should focus on illuminating how sleep interventions influence pain intensity and other important key factors that contribute to the distress of chronic pain patients.

Abstract
Although the prevalence of cancer pain is 47% after treatment, cancer pain is often underestimated, and many patients are undertreated. The complexity of cancer pain contributes to the lack of its management. Recently, as the mechanism of cancer pain, it has become clear that central sensitization (CS) influences chronic pain conditions and the transition from acute to chronic pain. In this state-of-the-art review, we summarized the association of CS or central sensitivity syndrome with pain and the treatment for pain targeting CS in cancer survivors. The management of patients with CS should not only focus on tissue damage in either the affected body regions or within the central nervous system; rather, it should aim to target the underlying factors that sustain the CS process. Pain neuroscience education (PNE) is gaining popularity for managing chronic musculoskeletal pain and could be effective for pain and CS in breast cancer survivors. However, there is a study that did not demonstrate significant improvements after PNE, so further research is needed. Precision medicine involves the classification of patients into subgroups based on a multifaceted evaluation of disease and the implementation of treatment tailored to the characteristics of each patient, which may play a central role in the treatment of CS.

Abstract
BACKGROUND No previous study has investigated the associations of depression, anxiety, and insomnia at baseline with disability at a five-year follow-up point among outpatients with chronic low back pain (CLBP). The study aimed to simultaneously compare the associations of depression, anxiety, and sleep quality at baseline with disability at a 5-year follow-up point among patients with CLBP. METHODS Two-hundred and twenty-five subjects with CLBP were enrolled at baseline, and 111 subjects participated at the five-year follow-up point. At follow-up, the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) and total months of disability (TMOD) over the past five years were used as the indices of disability. The depression (HADS-D) and anxiety (HADS-A) subscales of the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale and the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) were used to assess depression, anxiety, and insomnia at baseline and follow-up. Multiple linear regression was employed to test the associations. RESULTS The scores of the HADS-D, HADS-A, and ISI were correlated with the ODI at the same time points (both at baseline and follow-up). A greater severity on the HADS-D, an older age, and associated leg symptoms at baseline were independently associated with a greater ODI at follow-up. A greater severity on the HADS-A and fewer educational years at baseline were independently associated with a longer TMOD. The associations of the HADS-D and HADS-A at baseline with disability at follow-up were greater than that of the ISI at baseline, based on the regression models. CONCLUSION Greater severities of depression and anxiety at baseline were significantly associated with greater disability at the five-year follow-up point. The associations of depression and anxiety at baseline with disability at the long-term follow-up point might be greater than that of insomnia at baseline.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Lumbar disc degeneration (LDD) is associated with low back pain (LBP). Although both insomnia and mental distress appear to influence the pain experience, their role in the association between LDD and LBP is uncertain. Our objective was to investigate the role of co-occurring insomnia and mental distress in the association between LDD and LBP-related disability. METHODS A total of 1080 individuals who had experienced LBP during the previous year underwent 1.5-T lumbar magnetic resonance imaging, responded to questionnaires, and participated in a clinical examination at the age of 47. Full data was available for 843 individuals. The presence of LBP and LBP-related disability (numerical rating scale, range 0-10) were assessed using a questionnaire. LDD was assessed by a Pfirrmann-based sum score (range 0-15, higher values indicating higher LDD). The role of insomnia (according to the five-item Athens Insomnia Scale) and mental distress (according to the Hopkins Symptom Check List-25) in the association between the LDD sum score and LBP-related disability was analyzed using linear regression with adjustments for sex, smoking, body mass index, education, leisure-time physical activity, occupational physical exposure, Modic changes, and disc herniations. RESULTS A positive association between LDD and LBP-related disability was observed among those with absence of both mental distress and insomnia (adjusted B = 0.132, 95% CI = 0.028-0.236, p = 0.013), and among those with either isolated mental distress (B = 0.345 CI = 0.039-0.650, p = 0.028) or isolated insomnia (B = 0.207, CI = 0.040-0.373, p = 0.015). However, among individuals with co-occurring insomnia and mental distress, the association was not significant (B = -0.093, CI = -0.346-0.161, p = 0.470). CONCLUSIONS LDD does not associate with LBP-related disability when insomnia and mental distress co-occur. This finding may be useful when planning treatment and rehabilitation that aim to reduce disability among individuals with LDD and LBP. Future prospective research is warranted.

Abstract
Chronic low back pain (cLBP) is associated with insomnia and advanced age. Emerging evidence suggests that the severity of both sleep disorders (like insomnia) and chronic pain are associated with a faster pace of biological aging. We aimed to determine whether the pace of biological age mediates the relationship between insomnia and the impact of cLBP in a sample of community-dwelling adults ages 19 to 85 years. Participants (49 with no pain, 32 with low-impact pain, and 37 with high-impact pain) completed sociodemographic, pain, insomnia, and short physical performance battery assessments. We calculated the pace of biological aging using DunedinPACE from blood leukocyte DNA. On average, individuals with high-impact cLBP had significantly faster biological aging than those with low-impact and no chronic pain (p < .001). Bivariate associations of DunedinPACE scores with insomnia severity and functional performance were significant at p < .01 (rs = 0.324 and -0.502, respectively). After adjusting for race and sex, the association of insomnia severity and the impact of cLBP was partially mediated by the pace of biological aging (β = 0.070, p < .001). Also, the association of insomnia severity with functional performance was partially mediated by the pace of biological aging (β = -0.105, p < .001). Thus, insomnia remains strongly predictive of cLBP outcomes, and the pace of biological aging helps explain this association. Future prospective studies with repeated assessments are needed to uncover the directionality of these complex relationships and ultimately develop interventions to manage cLBP.

The impact of comorbid spinal pain in depression on work participation and clinical remission following brief or short psychotherapy. Abstract
Objectives This explorative study analyses the influence of baseline comorbid long-lasting spinal pain (CSP) on improvement of long term work participation and clinical remission of mental health illness following either brief coping-focussed or short-term psychotherapy for depression. Whether type of treatment modifies outcome with or without CSP is also analysed. Design A secondary post hoc subgroup analysis of a pragmatic randomised controlled trial. Interventions Brief or standard short psychotherapy. Methods Based on baseline assessment, the sample was subdivided into a subgroup with and a subgroup without CSP. Work participation and clinical remission of depression and anxiety were assessed as treatment outcome at two-year follow-up. Simple and multivariate logistic regression analyses, across the intervention arms, were applied to evaluate the impact of CSP on treatment outcome. Selected baseline variables were considered as potential confounders and included as variates if relevant. The modifying effect of CSP on treatment outcome was evaluated by including intervention modality as an interaction term. Main results Among the 236 participants with depressive symptoms, 83 participants (35%) were identified with CSP. In simple logistic regression analysis, CSP reduced improvements on both work participation and clinical remission rate. In the multivariate analysis however, the impact of CSP on work participation and on clinical remission were not significant after adjusting for confounding variables. Reduction of work participation was mainly explained by the higher age of the CSP participants and the reduced clinical remission by the additional co-occurrence of anxiety symptoms at baseline. The occurrence of CSP at baseline did not modify long term outcome of brief compared to short psychotherapy. Conclusions CSP at baseline reduced work participation and worsened remission of mental health symptoms two-year following psychotherapy. Older age and more severe baseline anxiety are associated to reduced effectiveness. Type of psychotherapy received did not contribute to differences.

Abstract
Purpose: Observational research has indicated the presence of a causal relationship between sleep disturbances and low back pain (LBP). However, the link may have been biased by confounding factors. The purpose of this study was to examine the potential causal association of insomnia and daytime sleepiness with LBP by using mendelian randomization (MR). Methods: Genome-wide association study (GWAS) summary statistics of insomnia were obtained from a large-scale GWAS meta-analysis (n = 1,331,010; individuals from UK Biobank and 23andMe) or UK Biobank alone (n = 453,379). The summary statistics of daytime sleepiness were from UK Biobank (n = 452,071) and LBP were provided by the FinnGen Release 6 (210,645 individuals with 16,356 LBP cases and 194,289 controls) or UK Biobank (5,423 cases versus 355,771 controls). Linkage disequilibrium score (LDSC) regression and bidirectional MR analysis was employed to estimate genetic correlation and causal relationship. In the MR analysis, the inverse variance weighted method (IVW) was utilized as the main analysis procedure, while MR-Egger, Weighted median and Robust adjusted profile score (RAPS) were utilized for supplementary analyses. Results: LDSC analysis showed that LBP were significantly genetically correlated with insomnia (rg = 0.57, p = 2.26e-25) and daytime sleepiness (rg = 0.18, p = 0.001). The MR analysis revealed that genetically predicted insomnia was significantly associated with an increased risk of LBP (OR = 1.250, 95% CI: 1.186-1.318; p = 1.69e-16). However, the reverse causality was not confirmed. No evidence was identified supporting causality of daytime sleepiness and LBP. Conclusion: This study demonstrates a putative causal link of insomnia on LBP and a null causal effect of LBP on insomnia. Furthermore, a causal link between daytime sleepiness and LBP were not reported. This finding may stimulate new strategies for patient management in clinical practice, benefiting public health.

Abstract
Background Chronic low back pain (cLBP) and chronic neck pain (cNP) are highly prevalent conditions and common reasons for disability among military personnel. Yoga and other mind-body interventions have been shown to safely decrease pain and disability in persons with cLBP and/or cNP but have not been adequately studied in active duty military personnel. The objective of this study was to examine the feasibility and acceptability of delivering 2 types of yoga (hatha and restorative) to a sample of active-duty military personnel with cLBP/cNP. Methods Military personnel with cLBP and/or cNP (n = 49; 59% men) were randomized to either hatha or restorative yoga interventions. Interventions consisted of in-person yoga 1-2x weekly for 12 weeks. Feasibility and acceptability were measured by rates of recruitment, intervention attendance, attrition, adverse events, and satisfaction ratings. Health outcomes including pain and disability were measured at baseline, 12 weeks, and 6 months. Means and effect sizes are presented. Results Recruitment was completed ahead of projections. Over 90% of participants agreed or strongly agreed that they enjoyed participation, liked the instructor, and would like to continue yoga. Retention rates were 86% and 80% at 12 week and 6 month assessments, respectively. Intervention attendance was adequate but lower than expected. There were small to moderate reductions in back-pain related disability, pain severity and pain interference, and improvements in quality of life, grip strength, and balance. In general, effects were larger for those who attended at least 50% of intervention classes. Participants with cNP tended to have smaller outcome improvements, but conclusions remain tentative given small sample sizes. Conclusions Results demonstrate feasibility for conducting a randomized controlled comparative effectiveness trial of yoga for cLBP and cNP among active duty military personnel. Acceptability was also established. Ongoing work will enhance the intervention for cNP and establish feasibility at another military facility in preparation for a fully-powered comparative effectiveness trial.ClinicalTrials #NCT03504085; registered April 20, 2018.
