Abstract
Highly antiretroviral therapy (HAART) used in Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) treatment may prolong the life span of people living with HIV/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) but may also induce the onset of autoimmune disorders. However, HIV-associated systemic sclerosis (SSc) is an extremely rare occurrence, and only four case reports and two studies documenting this association have been reported to date. We report a rare case of HIV-associated SSc who was referred to us for pain management in her mandibular teeth. A 44-year-old female patient diagnosed with HIV-associated SSc reported a complaint of pain in the lower posterior teeth region. Physical examination revealed typical features of SSc. The pain in her mandibular teeth was due to food lodgement, and she was advised to use toothpaste with a powered toothbrush and mouth stretching exercises, followed by oral prophylaxis. The patient responded well to therapy. HIV-associated SSc is an extremely rare occurrence, with an obscure pathogenic mechanism of HIV-associated autoimmunity. Oral physicians play a crucial role in disease management and should be incorporated into the multidisciplinary team.

Abstract
The cyclic GMP-AMP synthase-stimulator of interferon genes (cGAS-STING) signaling pathway, as vital component of innate immune system, acts a vital role in distinguishing invasive pathogens and cytosolic DNA. Cytosolic DNA sensor cGAS first binds to cytosolic DNA and catalyze synthesis of cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate (cGAMP), which is known as the secondmessenger. Next, cGAMP activates the adaptor protein STING, triggering a molecular chain reaction to stimulate cytokines including interferons (IFNs). Recently, many researches have revealed that the regulatory role of cGAS-STING signaling pathway in autoimmune diseases (AIDs) such as Rheumatoid arthritis (RA), Aicardi Goutières syndrome (AGS) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Moreover, accumulated evidence showed inhibition of the cGAS-STING signaling pathway can remarkably suppress joint swelling and inflammatory cell infiltration in RA mice. Therefore, in this review, we describe the molecular properties, biologic function and mechanisms of the cGAS-STING signaling pathway in AIDs. In addition, potential clinical applications especially selective small molecule inhibitors targeting the cGAS-STING signaling pathway are also discussed.

Abstract
Autoantibodies against interferon-gamma (AutoAbs-IFN-γ) can cause the immunodeficiency condition following various opportunistic infections. Gut microbiota can affect the human immune system in many ways. Many studies have shown that gut dysbiosis was associated with some immune diseases, such as autoimmune diseases and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, while its relationship at anti-IFN-γ AAbs remains unknown. We aimed to identify the anti-IFN-γ AAbs specific microbiome and the possible association with immunodeficiency. We profiled fecal microbiome for two cohorts of forty subjects, including seven patients with anti-IFN-γ AAbs and 33 individuals with competent immune. The study shows that patients with anti-IFN-γ AAbs have characterized the gut microbiome and have lower alpha diversity indexes than healthy controls (HC). There are significant differences in the microbiome structure at both the family and genera level between the two cohorts. The anti-IFN-γ AAbs cohort featured some microbiome such as Clostridium, including the possible opportunistic pathogen and fewer genera including Bacteroides, Ruminococcus, and Faecalibacterium, some of them with possible immune-related genera. The PICRUSt2 pathway demonstrated the decreased abundance of some immune-related pathways and one potential pathway related to the immune alternations in the anti- IFN-γ AAbs cohort. This was the first study to examine the gut microbiome characteristics in patients with anti-IFN-γ AAbs. It could be involved in the pathogenesis of anti-IFN-γ AAbs and contribute to the derived immune condition in this disease. This could lead to new strategies for treating and preventing patients suffering from this disease.

Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) accounts for approximately 75-90% of primary liver cancers and is the sixth most common cancer and the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. In the HIV-positive population, the risk of HCC is approximately four times higher than in the general population, with higher cancer-specific mortality than in HIV-negative patients. In most cases, HCC diagnosis is made in patients younger than the HIV-negative population and in the intermediate-advanced stage, thus limiting the therapeutic possibilities. Treatment choice in HIV-positive patients with HCC is subject to cancer staging, liver function and health status, as for HIV-negative and non-HIV-negative HCC patients. There are relatively few studies on the efficacy and safety in HIV-positive patients to date in loco-regional treatments for HCC. So far, literature shows that curative treatments such as radiofrequency ablation (RFA) have no significant differences in overall survival between HIV-positive and HIV-negative patients, as opposed to palliative treatments such as TACE, where there is a significant difference in overall survival. Although it can be assumed that the most recently discovered loco-regional therapies are applicable to HIV-positive patients with HCC in the same way as HIV-negative patients, further studies are needed to confirm this hypothesis. The purpose of our review is to evaluate these treatments, their efficacy, effectiveness, safety and their applicability to HIV-positive patients.
