Abstract
OBJECTIVE The relationship between a healthy lifestyle and depression in radiology residents remains poorly understood. This study aims to investigate the relationship between a healthy lifestyle and depressive symptoms in radiology residents in a nationwide survey. DESIGN Cross-sectional study. SETTING The survey was conducted among radiology residents undergoing training in China between December 2020 and April 2021. This encompassed a total of 215 municipalities and 406 training centres. PARTICIPANTS 3677 radiology residents in 31 provinces of China. PRIMARY AND SECONDARY OUTCOME MEASURES The primary outcome was Healthy Lifestyle Score (HLS). A multiple logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate the association between lifestyle factors and depressive symptoms. Additionally, the weighted quantile sum (WQS) index was utilised to identify the lifestyle factor that had the greatest impact on depressive symptoms. RESULTS The study sample consisted of 3677 participants, among whom the prevalence of depression was 34.7%. Participants were categorised based on their Health Lifestyle Score (HLS) into three groups: low HLS (LHLS), moderate HLS (MHLS) and high HLS (HHLS), with proportions of 8.0%, 79.8% and 12.2%, respectively. Those with LHLS were found to have a significantly higher risk of depression (OR: 5.21, 95% CI: 3.72 to 7.30) and a more severe level of depression (p for trend<0.001) compared with those with HHLS. Furthermore, the Well-being Quality of Life Index (WQS) showed a significant association with depression (OR: 0.34, 95% CI: 0.28 to 0.40), with sleep being identified as the most significant factor contributing to a healthy lifestyle. CONCLUSION The study establishes a significant association between an LHLS (long and irregular work hours) and an elevated risk of depressive symptoms among the participants, emphasising the crucial role of sleep in this relationship. These findings underline the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle, specifically emphasising the need for adequate sleep, among radiology residents.

Abstract
PURPOSE This research aimed to explore hesitation towards the COVID-19 booster vaccine among dialysis patients and study the association between COVID-19 pandemic-induced health behavior and vaccination hesitancy. METHODS A self-administered online questionnaire evaluating dialysis patients' hesitation to take COVID-19 booster vaccination was conducted between March 24 and 22 April 2022 in Taizhou, China. The logistic regression method was applied to identify factors associated with vaccination hesitancy, and all data were analyzed using R software. RESULTS Of the 365 study participants, 272 (74.5%) individuals hesitated to take the booster dose. Health behavior was found to be a significant factor for hesitation to take COVID-19 vaccines, with OR (95% CI) of 1.09 (1.02-1.17). Influenza vaccination history was also significantly associated with the hesitation (OR (95% CI) = 0.39 (0.21-0.74)). In addition, participants with higher education levels exhibited lower vaccine hesitancy compared to those with junior secondary or below, with ORs (95% CIs) of 0.49 (0.27-0.91) for senior secondary and 0.35 (0.14-0.89) for junior college or above, respectively. CONCLUSION The proportion of hesitancy for taking the booster vaccination of the COVID-19 vaccine was high among dialysis patients. Health behaviors, influenza vaccination history, and education levels were risk factors in their vaccination hesitancy. These findings may aid efforts to help vaccinate people with underlying diseases against future pandemics.

Abstract
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES To investigate whether chronic diseases are associated with higher COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and explore factors that influence COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy in patients with chronic diseases. BACKGROUND Vaccine hesitancy has been acknowledged as one of the greatest hazards to public health. However, little information is available about COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among patients with chronic diseases who may be more susceptible to COVID-19 infection, severe disease or death. METHODS From 6 to 9 August 2021, we performed an internet-based cross-sectional survey with 22,954 participants (14.78% participants with chronic diseases). Propensity score matching with 1:1 nearest neighbourhood was used to reduce confounding factors between patients with chronic diseases and the general population. Using a multivariable logistic regression model, the factors impacting COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy were identified among patients with chronic diseases. RESULTS Both before and after propensity score matching, patients with chronic diseases had higher COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy than the general population. In addition, self-reported poor health, multiple chronic diseases, lower sociodemographic backgrounds and lower trust in nurses and doctors were associated with COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among patients with chronic diseases. CONCLUSIONS Patients with chronic diseases were more hesitant about the COVID-19 vaccine. Nurses should focus on patients with chronic diseases with poor health conditions, low socioeconomic backgrounds and low trust in the healthcare system. RELEVANCE TO CLINICAL PRACTICE Clinical nurses are recommended to not only pay more attention to the health status and sociodemographic characteristics of patients with chronic diseases but also build trust between nurses and patients by improving service levels and professional capabilities in clinical practice. PATIENT OR PUBLIC CONTRIBUTION Patients or the public were not involved in setting the research question, the outcome measures, or the design or implementation of the study. However, all participants were invited to complete the digital informed consent and questionnaires.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cancer patients and those with chronic diseases face severe outcomes from SARS-CoV-2 infection. However, their willingness to receive a second booster dose remains low. This study identified factors affecting the willingness of cancer patients with chronic diseases (CPCD) and cancer patients without chronic diseases (non-CPCD) to receive the second COVID-19 booster vaccine dose. METHODS A multicenter cross-sectional study was conducted across 4 tertiary care hospitals in China. Based on the Health Belief Model, a questionnaire assessed respondents' perceptions of the second booster dose. Multivariable logistic regression analyzed factors influencing the willingness to receive a second vaccine dose. RESULTS Out of 171 CPCD and 722 non-CPCD, CPCD showed a higher willingness to receive the second booster dose than non-CPCD (46.8% vs 32.3%, P < .001). Factors influencing CPCD's willingness included the belief that vaccination was detrimental to cancer treatment and the perceived higher infection risk compared to healthy individuals. Fear of vaccination's negative impact on cancer treatment was the main factor affecting non-CPCD's willingness (each P < .05). CONCLUSIONS Different factors influenced the willingness of the 2 groups. Health education interventions should be implemented alongside vaccination, involving patients' relatives and medical staff, for both CPCD and non-CPCD populations. Additionally, health management service interventions should emphasize the benefits of vaccination for CPCD to improve their second dose coverage.
