Abstract
This report outlines the evolution and recent progress about the different protocols to synthesize the N-heterocycles fused hybrids, specifically [1,2,3]triazolo[1,5-a]quinoline. This review encompasses a broad range of approaches, describing several reactions for obtaining this since, such as dehydrogenative cyclization, oxidative N-N coupling, Dieckmann condensation, intramolecular Heck, (3+2)-cycloaddition, Ullman-type coupling and direct intramolecular arylation reactions. We divided this review in three section based in the starting materials to synthesize the target [1,2,3]triazolo[1,5-a]quinolines. Starting materials containing quinoline or triazole units previously formed, as well as starting materials which both quinoline and triazole units are formed in situ. Different methods of obtaining are described, such as metal-free or catalyzed conditions, azide-free, using conventional heating or alternative energy sources, such as electrochemical and photochemical methods. Mechanistic insights underlying the reported reactions were also described in this comprehensive review.

Abstract
Abstract
Carbon–carbon and carbon-heteroatom bond forming reactions are strategically employed for the generation of a variety of heterocyclic systems. This class of compounds represents the most general structural unit, present in many natural compounds. They are recognized for their valuable biologically properties and wide range of applications in medicinal, pharmaceutical, and other related fields of chemistry. This is an updated review on the use of dicarbonyl compounds under environmentally friendly conditions to access a series of heterocyclic structures, e.g., quinoxaline, quinazolinones, benzochalcogenazoles, indoles, among others. Synthetic protocols involving copper-catalyzed, multicomponent and cascade reactions, decarboxylative cyclization, recycling of CO2, and electrochemical approaches are presented and discussed.

Abstract
The present review describes the successful application of organoboron compounds in transition-metal-free C-S, C-Se, and C-Te bond formations. We presented studies regarding these C-Chalcogen bond formations using organoboron reagents, such as boronic acids, boronic esters, borate anions, and several sources of chalcogen atoms/moieties. Moreover, a broad range of transition-metal-free approaches to synthesize sulfides, selenides, and tellurides were described using conventional heating methods, which are sometimes green since they use green solvents, safe reagents, among others. Furthermore, protocols using alternative energy sources, including ultrasound, microwave irradiation, photocatalysis, and electrolytic processes, were also shown to be suitable. These protocols were applied to prepare a broad scope of functionalized chalcogenides with high molecular diversity. These studies and their proposed mechanisms were also reported herein in addition to the reuse of reaction promoters.

Abstract
An overview of the latest developments in the metal-free synthesis of non-benzo-fused N-functionalized and NH-1,2,3-triazoles is provided in this feature article. Synthetic studies that appeared from 2016 until August 2020 are organized according to a wide-ranging classification, comprising oxidative and eliminative azide-dipolarophile cycloadditions, diazo transfer reactions and N-tosylhydrazone-mediated syntheses. The newly developed methods constitute a significant contribution to the field of 1,2,3-triazole synthesis in terms of structural variation via either the exploration of novel reactions, or the exploitation of existing methodologies.

Abstract
The aim of this review is to provide an overview of green protocols for the organic synthesis of heterocycles via 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition. Particular attention has been devoted to the use of green solvents; reactions performed in ionic liquids, fluorinated solvents and water have been included. Also explored are several protocols that make use of catalyst-free reaction conditions, the use of microwave irradiation and activation by light exposure. Improvements over commonly used organic solvents will be underlined in order to highlight environmental protection aspects and enhancements in regio- and stereo-selectivity.
