Abstract
N-Aminophthalimides and phthalazine 1,4-diones were synthesized from isobenzofuran-1,3-dione, isoindoline-1,3-dione, furo [3,4-b] pyrazine-5,7-dione, or 1H-pyrrolo [3,4-c] pyridine-1,3-dione with monohydrate hydrazine to carry out the 5-exo or 6-endo nitrogen cyclization under the different reaction conditions. Based on the control experimental results, 6-endo thermodynamic hydrohydrazination and kinetical 5-exo cyclization reactions were individually selective formation. Subsequently, Vilsmeier amidination derivatization was successfully developed to probe the structural divergence between N-aminophthalimide 2 and phthalazine 1,4-dione 3. On the other hand, the best tautomerization of N-aminophthalimide to diazinone was also determined under acetic acid mediated solution.

Abstract
In recent years, hybrid systems are gaining considerable attention owing to their various biological applications in drug development. Generally, hybrid molecules are constructed from different molecular entities to generate a new functional molecule with improved biological activities. There already exist a large number of naturally occurring hybrid molecules based on both non-steroid and steroid frameworks synthesized by nature through mixed biosynthetic pathways such as, a) integration of the different biosynthetic pathways or b) Carbon- Carbon bond formation between different components derived through different biosynthetic pathways. Multicomponent reactions are a great way to generate efficient libraries of hybrid compounds with high diversity. Throughout the scientific history, the most common factors developing technologies are less energy consumption and avoiding the use of hazardous reagents. In this case, microwave energy plays a vital role in chemical transformations since it involves two very essential criteria of synthesis, minimizing energy consumption required for heating and time required for the reaction. This review summarizes the use of microwave energy in the synthesis of steroidal and non-steroidal hybrid molecules and the use of multicomponent reactions.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Imidazole is a heterocyclic moiety having immense biological importance. Since ancient times, the imidazole nucleus is considered to be a promising moiety in the field of chemistry. Preliminary in vitro and in vivo studies have provided valuable scientific evidence for its use. Subsequently, imidazole constitutes a new class of compounds for new drug development as the presence of this nucleus in diverse therapeutic categories viz; antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, immunomodulator, antiviral etc. has made it an interesting moiety for the design and development of new pharmacological agents. Thus, this review aims to summarize the reported molecular entities which were synthesized by using conventional as well as microwave processes, chemistry and biological potential of imidazole containing heterocyclic molecules while identifying potential areas of further research on imidazole. RESULTS The review comprises literature pertaining to the evidence-based pharmacological or therapeutic potential of imidazole using published articles and worldwide databases. Various pharmacological experiments using different models exclusively proved the potential of imidazole. SUMMARY Focusing on the discovery and development of new imidazole nucleus based molecules at a faster rate, there is a need to search previous information available in the market in the field of medicinal chemistry. Therefore, the present review aims to elaborate the therapeutic worth of imidazole and its analogs.

Abstract
Epoxide-amine oligo-adducts were synthesized via a one-pot microwave assisted heterogeneous catalytic transfer hydrogenation. Accordingly, 4-nitroanisole was reduced under microwave conditions to give 4-aminoanisole which reacted immediately with the diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A in an addition polymerization reaction to yield oligo(amino alcohol)s. The hydroxy groups of the new formed oligomers were used as the initiator for the ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone to produce a graft copolymer.

Abstract
The cyclization of N,N'-dialkyl or diaryl ethane-1,2-diamines or propane-1,3-diamines with inorganic ammonium salts and orthoesters proceeds briskly under microwave irradiation to afford the corresponding imidazolinium or tetrahydropyrimidinium salts. The transformation is highly versatile and tolerates a wide range of substituents and counterions. It could be scaled from 1 to 50 mmol without any difficulty. Because the workup is equally rapid and straightforward, this experimental procedure provides fast and convenient access to an important class of heterocyclic compounds that have found numerous applications as N-heterocyclic carbene precursors, organocatalysts, and ionic liquids.
