Abstract
Partial duplication of the left ovarian vein is an extremely rare anatomical variation with significant clinical implications. We report the case of a 52-year-old female with no significant medical history, presenting with a 2-month history of vague upper abdominal pain. A diagnostic abdominal CT scan revealed an incidental finding of partial duplication of the left ovarian vein. The vein was enlarged, measuring 8 mm in diameter, and displayed a unique bifurcation at the lower end of the L4 vertebra, reuniting at the upper endplate of the L3 vertebra. Additionally, a short 4 mm segment connected the duplicated mid-segments. This case underscores the importance of thorough imaging and evaluation in identifying rare vascular anomalies, which can have significant implications for diagnosis and management.

Abstract
The gonadal veins, responsible for draining from the paired gonads (testes in males and ovaries in females), exhibit variations in anatomy. Traditionally, the right gonadal vein directs its drainage into the inferior vena cava, while the left gonadal vein typically connects to the left renal vein. However, in the case of a 45-year-old woman diagnosed with a non-functional right kidney who underwent a right nephrectomy, an intraoperative observation revealed an unusual configuration: the right gonadal vein (ovarian) was found to drain directly into the right renal vein instead of its usual route into the inferior vena cava. This case report aims to elucidate this anomalous finding and provide a literature review on the prevalence of such anomalies in the existing research. This case report aims to raise awareness about the atypical drainage patterns of gonadal veins and underscore the importance of meticulous dissection of hilar renal vessels.

Abstract
Variations of the ovarian veins can impact imaging diagnosis, surgical procedures of the region, and can be related to clinical findings such as compression of the ureter. Therefore, a good working knowledge of such variants is important to the clinician who interprets imaging of the posterior abdominopelvic region of women and surgeons who operate in this region. Herein, we present a comprehensive review of duplicated ovarian veins and provide a case illustration.

Abstract
A 34-year-old multipara presented 72 hours postpartum with acute right-sided abdominal pain. The investigation revealed mild leucocytosis with positive D-dimer and elevated C reactive protein. Abdominal ultrasound and abdominopelvic CT demonstrated an enlarged right ovarian vein with endoluminal thrombus, representing postpartum ovarian vein thrombosis. The patient became asymptomatic 48 hours after starting broad-spectrum antibiotic treatment and anticoagulant therapy. She completed the treatment in ambulatory regimen and control abdominopelvic CT imaging was performed and revealed a duplicated right ovarian vein and a small residual subacute thrombus in the lumen of the distal right ovarian vein. The patient remained asymptomatic in the clinical follow-up.

Abstract
Variations of testicular vessels are more common than supposed. The testicular artery varies because of abnormal regression of the lateral mesonephric arteries in the fetus, whereas variations in the testicular vein are due to abnormalities in the involution of the intersubcardinal anastomosis. Such variations are usually found incidentally during surgical procedures around the renal pedicle and they often lead to complications. Several authors have attempted to classify them. However, these attempts have not been comprehensive. Therefore, the aim of this study is to provide a simple yet comprehensive classification of variations of the testicular vessels. The PubMed database was searched using keywords pertaining to the testicular vessels. The results were subjected to the Anatomical Quality Assessment (AQUA) tool analysis and were screened for appropriateness for inclusion in this study. The screening procedure yielded 31 original articles, 83 case reports, and 1 review article. Both testicular arterial and venous variations were more common on the left side (20.73% and 24.61%) than the right (12.69% and 18.4%, respectively). We classified the testicular arteries on the basis of their number (N), site of origin (O), and course (C). Similarly, the testicular veins were classified on the basis of their number (N) and site of drainage (D). The proposed classification facilitates identification, understanding, and reporting of variations of the testicular vessels by radiologists.
