Abstract
Long COVID has emerged as a significant challenge since the COVID-19 pandemic, which was declared as an outbreak in March 2020, marked by diverse symptoms and prolonged duration of disease. Defined by the WHO as symptoms persisting or emerging for at least two months post-SARS-CoV-2 infection without an alternative cause, its prevalence varies globally, with estimates of 10-20% in Europe, 7.3% in the USA, and 3.0% in the UK. The condition's etiology remains unclear, involving factors, such as renin-angiotensin system overactivation, persistent viral reservoirs, immune dysregulation, and autoantibodies. Reactivated viruses, like EBV and HSV-6, alongside epigenetic alterations, exacerbate mitochondrial dysfunction and energy imbalance. Emerging evidence links SARS-CoV-2 to chromatin and gut microbiome changes, further influencing long-term health impacts. Diagnosis of long COVID requires detailed systemic evaluation through medical history and physical examination. Management is highly individualized, focusing mainly on the patient's symptoms and affected systems. A multidisciplinary approach is essential, integrating diverse perspectives to address systemic manifestations, underlying mechanisms, and therapeutic strategies. Enhanced understanding of long COVID's pathophysiology and clinical features is critical to improving patient outcomes and quality of life. With a growing number of cases expected globally, advancing research and disseminating knowledge on long COVID remain vital for developing effective diagnostic and management frameworks, ultimately supporting better care for affected individuals.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has raised concerns regarding its potential impact on premature ovarian insufficiency (POI). This overview examines the possible interactions between COVID-19 and POI, while also suggesting preventive measures. The viral infection's inflammatory response and immune dysregulation may adversely affect ovarian tissues, leading to inflammation and damage. Additionally, alterations in vascular function could impair ovarian blood flow and hormonal imbalances may disrupt normal ovarian function. Long-term health effects, such as "long COVID," may exacerbate these issues through chronic inflammation and immune dysfunction. Public health measures, such as vaccination and home isolation, may indirectly protect ovarian health by reducing systemic inflammation. Vaccines could mitigate the severity of COVID-19's impact on ovarian function, while isolation may reduce stress and inflammation. However, further research is needed to validate these mechanisms.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The safety of the COVID-19 inactivated vaccine on pregnancy outcomes in couples undergoing assisted reproductive technology remains uncertain due to limited and speculative evidence. Existing studies primarily focus on the vaccination status of females, with scant information available regarding the vaccination status of male partners. Moreover, there is minimal research tracking live birth outcomes. OBJECTIVE(S) The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of COVID-19 inactivated vaccine administration on the outcomes of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycles in infertile couples in China. METHODS This prospective cohort study involved couples undergoing IVF treatment at Sichuan Jinxin Xinan Women & Children's Hospital from August 2021 to September 2022. Based on whether they received vaccination before ovarian stimulation, the couples were divided into the vaccination group and the non-vaccination group. We compared the laboratory parameters and pregnancy outcomes between the two groups. RESULTS After performing propensity score matching (PSM), we observed similar live birth rates (41.23% vs. 44.08%, P = 0.555), clinical pregnancy rates (52.61% vs. 54.98%, P = 0.625), biochemical pregnancy (62.56% vs. 63.98%, P = 0.762), and ongoing pregnancy rates (49.76% vs. 51.18%, P = 0.770) between the vaccinated and unvaccinated women. Also, no significant disparities were found in terms of embryo development and laboratory parameters between the groups. Moreover, male vaccination had no impact on patients' pregnancy outcomes in assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatments (all P > 0.05). Additionally, there were no observable effects of vaccination on embryo development and pregnancy outcomes among couples undergoing ART (all P > 0.05). CONCLUSION(S) The findings suggest that COVID-19 vaccination did not have a significant effect on patients undergoing IVF/ICSI with fresh embryo transfer. Therefore, it is recommended that couples should receive COVID-19 vaccination as scheduled to help mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract
This retrospective cohort study examined ovarian dysfunction diagnosis incidence among female active component service members in the U.S. military from 2014 to 2023 using medical encounter data from the Defense Medical Surveillance System. Ovarian dysfunction diagnosis incidence gradually increased during this period, driven almost entirely by polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), of which the incidence increased from 32.0 cases per 10,000 person-years in 2014 to 60.3 cases per 10,000 person-years in 2023. Increases occurred among all demographic subcategories. This study also assessed independent association between ovarian dysfunction and socio-demographic and medical covariates, including COVID-19 infection and vaccination status. History of obesity had the strongest association with PCOS incidence, with an adjusted incident rate ratio (aIRR) of 2.5 and 95% confidence interval (CI) of 2.3-2.6. COVID-19 infection was modestly associated with PCOS incidence (aIRR 1.2; 95% CI, 1.1-1.3). COVID-19 vaccination status was not independently associated with increased PCOS incidence. A potential contributing factor of increased PCOS diagnosis incidence is that recent updates to the diagnostic criteria enabled more clinical and telehealth diagnoses. The increased incidence may also reflect the increasing rate of obesity and other related health burdens in the U.S. military. Incidence of diagnosis of ovarian dysfunction, driven almost entirely by PCOS, increased steadily among female active component service members from 2014 to 2023. This increase in incidence was observed in all demographic subgroups and had the strongest independent association with pre-existing obesity.

Abstract
PURPOSE To elucidate the impact of long COVID on menstruation and mental health, medical records of patients with long COVID were evaluated. METHODS Symptoms of long COVID, QOL, mental health, and related endocrine data were compared between two groups with and without menstrual disturbances. RESULTS Of 349 female patients who visited our clinic between February 2021 and March 2023, 223 patients with long COVID (aged 18-50 years) were included. Forty-four (19.7%) of the patients had menstrual symptoms associated with long COVID. The patients with menstrual symptoms were older than those without menstrual symptoms (42.5 vs. 38 years). The percentage of patients with menstrual symptoms was higher during the Omicron phase (24%) than during the Preceding (13%) and Delta (12%) phases. Cycle irregularity was the most frequent (in 63.6% of the patients), followed by severe pain (25%), heavy bleeding (20.5%), perimenopausal symptoms (18.2%), and premenstrual syndrome (15.9%). Fatigue and depression were the most frequent complications. Scores for fatigue and for QOL were significantly worse in long COVID patients with menstrual symptoms. Results of endocrine examinations showed significantly increased cortisol levels in patients with menstrual complaints. CONCLUSION Long COVID has an impact on menstrual conditions and on QOL related to menstrual conditions.

Abstract
OBJECTıVE: Cluster headache (CH) is a coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination-related adverse event. There are a few case reports of relapses or de novo cluster episodes following the vaccine. The disease's pathophysiology is still not clear. The most widely accepted mechanism is activation of the trigeminocervical complex (TCC). However, the correlation between vaccination and CH is unexplainable. Its goal is to compare the CH bouts of patients before and after the vaccine. METHODS Patients with a history of CH and who had never experienced COVID-19 illness during the pandemic were included in this retrospective cohort analysis. The semi-structured survey was administered face to face to 24 CH patients (16 male). The headache features before and after vaccination were detailed in this survey. RESULTS 18 patients got vaccinated twice, and 6 of them had no vaccination. After the first vaccination, 83.3% of them had CH bout; after the second vaccination, 72.2% of them had CH bout. We divided headache episodes into three groups: (1) before vaccination, (2) after the first vaccination, and (3) after the second vaccination. The third group had a higher pain intensity (9.30 ± 0.630, p = 0.047) and remitting longer (20.00 ± 5.40 days, p = 0.019) than the other groups. The management of the 53.3% bouts after vaccinations was less effective than the usual episodes. CONCLUSION Most ECH patients experienced new bouts more intense and longer duration after vaccinations than their previous bouts, the mechanism, and pathogenesis of the bouts are the subject of future research. The new studies can be a light for understanding the CH pathophysiology more deeply.

Abstract
To date, not many studies have presented evidence of SARS-CoV-2 infecting the female reproductive system. Furthermore, so far, no effect of the administration of anti-COVID 19 vaccines has been reported to affect the quality of oocytes retrieved from women who resorted to assisted reproduction technology (ART). The FF metabolic profiles of women who had been infected by SARS-CoV-2 before IVF treatments or after COVID-19 vaccination were examined by 1H NMR. Immunochemical characterization of proteins and cytokines involved in the redox and inflammatory pathways was performed. The increased expression of SOD2 and NQO1, the lack of alteration of IL-6 and CXCL10 levels, as well as the increased expression of CD39, suggested that, both sharing similar molecular mechanisms or proceeding along different routes, the redox balance is controlled in the FF of both vaccinated and recovered women compared to controls. The lower amount of metabolites known to have proinflammatory activity, i.e., TMAO and lipids, further supported the biochemical results, suggesting that the FF microenvironment is controlled so as to guarantee oocyte quality and does not compromise the outcome of ART. In terms of the number of blastocysts obtained after ICSI and the pregnancy rate, the results are also comforting.

Abstract
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused a severe epidemic due to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Recent studies have found that patients do not completely recover from acute infections, but instead, suffer from a variety of post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection, known as long COVID. The effects of long COVID can be far-reaching, with a duration of up to six months and a range of symptoms such as cognitive dysfunction, immune dysregulation, microbiota dysbiosis, myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, myocarditis, pulmonary fibrosis, cough, diabetes, pain, reproductive dysfunction, and thrombus formation. However, recent studies have shown that naringenin and naringin have palliative effects on various COVID-19 sequelae. Flavonoids such as naringin and naringenin, commonly found in fruits and vegetables, have various positive effects, including reducing inflammation, preventing viral infections, and providing antioxidants. This article discusses the molecular mechanisms and clinical effects of naringin and naringenin on treating the above diseases. It proposes them as potential drugs for the treatment of long COVID, and it can be inferred that naringin and naringenin exhibit potential as extended long COVID medications, in the future likely serving as nutraceuticals or clinical supplements for the comprehensive alleviation of the various manifestations of COVID-19 complications.

Abstract
Background The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in one way or another. The menstrual cycle is a reflection of the female reproductive system, and it is influenced by various factors including stress and infections. Although there is little information available about how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected women's reproductive health, it has had a significant impact on women. Objective The main objective of our study is to identify if there are any menstrual disturbances following COVID-19 infection in women. Study design Our study is a retrospective study wherein 700 women recovering from COVID-19 infection were asked about any new menstrual disturbances after the infection. We collected the data using questionnaires and analyzed the data using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS, version 26) (IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Armonk, NY). Results Our study showed no dysmenorrhea in 90% of the participants, 81% reported no change in menstrual flow rate, a vast majority (93%) denied experiencing amenorrhea, only 4% reported a new onset of intermenstrual bleeding, and 1% reported postmenopausal bleeding. Conclusion There was no significant change in the participants' menstrual cycle following COVID-19 infection.
