Abstract
Long-term tumour recurrence rates and complications of endoscope-assisted partial superficial parotidectomy (PSP) are rarely reported compared to traditional open approaches. This retrospective study included 306 patients with superficial parotid benign neoplasms who were divided into an endoscopy group (endoscope-assisted PSP, n = 102) and a control group (conventional PSP, n = 204). There were no significant differences in clinical and pathological characteristics between the two groups, except age (P = 0.001). Three patients had confirmed recurrence during a mean follow-up duration of 125.1 months. Ten (9.8%) patients in the endoscopy group and 22 (10.8%) in the control group developed transient facial nerve palsy (P = 0.792), and recovered 6 months after the operation. Nine (8.8%) and 19 (9.3%) patients, respectively, suffered from Frey syndrome (P = 0.889). A sensory deficit of the auricle occurred in 24 (23.5%) and 57 (27.9%) patients respectively (P = 0.410). Patients in the endoscopy group were more satisfied with the postoperative scar than those in the control group (P < 0.001). This study demonstrated that the endoscope-assisted PSP can be curative, with better cosmetic outcomes than the conventional approach, and does not increase the incidence of postoperative complications or the local recurrence rate.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Breast cancer is the most common cancer type and the most common cancer related cause of death worldwide in women. This study was aimed to assess the awareness of mammography among breast cancer patients attending follow-up at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. METHODS Hospital based cross sectional study was conducted from July 01 to August 30, 2017 at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital. Interviewer administered questionnaire was used to obtain data from 270 breast cancer patients who came to radiology department for follow up imaging. Collected data were checked for completeness, coded and entered into Epi Info 3.1 software and exported to SPSS Version 21 for analysis. RESULTS Two hundred and twenty four (83%) of the study participants had no awareness of mammography while 46 (17%) of them had awareness of mammography. Out of the total 270 women, only 38(14.1%) had mammography test. In multivariate logistic regression analysis; level of education was found to have significant association with awareness of mammography. Women with breast cancer who completed secondary education were 4.5 times (AOR= 4.5; 95% CI: 1.39, 14.77) more likely to have awareness of mammography compared to women with breast cancer who were illiterate. CONCLUSION This study revealed low awareness, knowledge and practice of mammography among women with breast cancer. Knowledge of participants about risk factor for breast cancer was also low.

Abstract
Frey's syndrome, is characterized by warmth, flushing and sweating of the face, most of time in the preauricular region, initiated by any gustatory stimulus. It is frequently related to parotid surgery. A case of Frey's syndrome in a 81-year-old female whose long-delayed clinical onset post-parotidectomy is presented.

Abstract
Frey syndrome and facial contour deformity commonly occur after parotid surgery. Although the treatment of established Frey syndrome has focused on medical solutions, surgical solutions to established Frey syndrome have been less reported. Moreover, these methods may not resolve the facial depression. In the presented case here, we used 2-stage surgical approach with dermofat graft and lipofilling for the treatment of established Frey syndrome and facial depression deformity. We considered that this technique provides the easiest, most practical, satisfying, and effective solution for Frey syndrome that develops in the late follow-up period after superficial parotidectomy.
