Abstract
Now, platinum-based chemotherapy is used as the first-line treatment for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Interestingly, a combination of immune checkpoint inhibitors, such as mepolizumab, with other targeted therapies and chemotherapy help to make a significant improvement. Atezolizumab, a fully humanized, engineered monoclonal antibody of IgG1 isotype against the protein programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), blocks PD-1 activation and results in T-cell activity against tumor cells. As the second-line treatment of advanced or metastatic NSCLC, atezolizumab plus chemotherapy was approved in 2017 concerning the clinical benefit of the phase III OAK trials. Atezolizumab, compared with docetaxel, remarkably increased overall survival (OS) and showed promising efficacy and tolerability in the treatment of advanced NSCLC.Research on atezolizumab's application in neoadjuvant (pre-surgery) and adjuvant (post-surgery) contexts is ongoing. It is now undergoing trials to assess its efficacy in these settings, which may broaden its place in the NSCLC therapy spectrum and enhance long-term results. This paper briefly summarizes the clinical data of atezolizumab therapy alone or in combination with other therapeutics for NSCLC therapy.

Abstract
Advanced and metastatic cervical cancer remains a formidable challenge in oncology, with immune checkpoint inhibitors such as the PD-1 inhibitor nivolumab emerging as a potential therapeutic option. This systematic review rigorously assesses the effectiveness and outcomes of various nivolumab treatment regimens within this patient cohort, drawing from clinical trials and real-world evidence up to December 2023. Following a comprehensive search across PubMed, Scopus, and Embase, four studies were deemed eligible, involving a collective total of 80 patients. One preliminary trial data were excluded from the final analysis, as well as four other proceedings and abstracts on the efficacy and safety of nivolumab on advanced cervical cancer. The patients' average age across these studies was 48 years, with an average of 38% having an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status of 1. Notably, 64% of all patients were positive for high-risk HPV, and 71% exhibited PD-L1 positivity, indicating a substantial target population for nivolumab. The analysis revealed a pooled objective response rate (ORR) of 48%, with a disease control rate (DCR) averaging 71%. Moreover, progression-free survival (PFS) at 6 months was observed at an average rate of 50%, reflecting the significant potential of nivolumab in managing advanced stages of the disease. The review highlights the influence of PD-L1 status on response rates and underscores the enhanced outcomes associated with combination therapy approaches. By delineating the variability in treatment efficacy and pinpointing key factors affecting therapeutic response and survival, this systematic review calls for further investigations to refine nivolumab's clinical application, aiming to improve patient outcomes in advanced and metastatic cervical cancer.

Abstract
Purpose Programmed cell death ligand 1 (PDL1) has the predictive and prognostic value in a great deal of cancers. This study aims to explore the expression of PDL1 in stage III breast cancer (BC) and its correlation with clinical outcome. Methods The protein expression of PDL1 in tumor tissues was determined by immunohistochemistry (IHC). The correlations between PDL1 and clinicopathological variables were performed by χ²-tests or Fisher's exact tests. The Cox proportional hazards model was used for univariate and multivariate analysis of the potential prognostic factors. Survival curves were estimated based on Kaplan-Meier analyses, and Log Rank test was used to contrast factors influencing the survival outcome. Results On the basis of the semiquantitative scoring method for PDL1 expression, the patients were divided into low PDL1 expression group (109 cases) and high PDL1 expression group (107 cases). PDL1 expression was correlated with positive lymph nodes, positive axillary lymph nodes, postoperative radiotherapy, and CK5/6 expression (P < 0.05). The PDL1 expression in tumor tissues was discovered to be a potential prognostic risk factor with the disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) for stage III BC. Moreover, patients with high PDL1 expression showed longer lifetime (DFS and OS) compared to those with low PDL1 expression in total patient population (P < 0.05). Moreover, the nomogram showed that the prediction line is in good agreement with the reference line for postoperative 1-, 3-, and 5-year lifetime. The DCA curve showed that the 3- and 5-year lifetime by nomogram had so much better divination of the clinical application than only by PDL1. Conclusion PDL1 is a latent prognostic factor in stage III BC and is closely related to some clinicopathological features. PDL1 expression in tumor tissues is significantly associated with better lifetime rate in stage III BC.

Abstract
There is an urgent need to identify new predictive biomarkers for treatment response to both platinum doublet chemotherapy (PT) and immune checkpoint blockade (ICB). Here, we evaluated whether treatment outcome could be affected by KRAS mutational status in patients with metastatic (Stage IV) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). All consecutive patients molecularly assessed and diagnosed between 2016−2018 with Stage IV NSCLC in the region of West Sweden were included in this multi-center retrospective study. The primary study outcome was overall survival (OS). Out of 580 Stage IV NSCLC patients, 35.5% harbored an activating mutation in the KRAS gene (KRASMUT). Compared to KRAS wild-type (KRASWT), KRASMUT was a negative factor for OS (p = 0.014). On multivariate analysis, KRASMUT persisted as a negative factor for OS (HR 1.478, 95% CI 1.207−1.709, p < 0.001). When treated with first-line platinum doublet (n = 195), KRASMUT was a negative factor for survival (p = 0.018), with median OS of 9 months vs. KRASWT at 11 months. On multivariate analysis, KRASMUT persisted as a negative factor for OS (HR 1.564, 95% CI 1.124−2.177, p = 0.008). KRASMUT patients with high PD-L1 expression (PD-L1high) had better OS than PD-L1highKRASWT patients (p = 0.036). In response to first-line ICB, KRASMUT patients had a significantly (p = 0.006) better outcome than KRASWT patients, with a median OS of 23 vs. 6 months. On multivariable Cox analysis, KRASMUT status was an independent prognostic factor for better OS (HR 0.349, 95% CI 0.148−0.822, p = 0.016). kRAS mutations are associated with better response to treatment with immune checkpoint blockade and worse response to platinum doublet chemotherapy as well as shorter general OS in Stage IV NSCLC.

Abstract
Purpose PD-1 inhibitors have been routinely used to treat advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and have significantly improved clinical outcomes. In this study, we aimed to explore the influence of pretreatment fibrinogen-albumin ratio (FAR) on treatment response and survival in advanced NSCLC patients treated with first-line anti-PD-1 therapy plus platinum-based combination chemotherapy. Patients and Methods A total of 91 patients with advanced NSCLC were included in the study. All patients received at least two cycles of systemic first-line anti-PD-1 therapy plus platinum-based combination chemotherapy. Receiver operating characteristics analysis was performed to determine the optimal cutoff values of FAR. Univariate and multivariate analyses were used to identify independent prognostic factors, and the Kaplan–Meier method was used to estimate survival curves. Results Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that N stage (N2-3) and high FAR (≥0.175, optimal cutoff value) were independent predictors for objective response rate (P = 0.0002, P = 0.0005, respectively). Multivariate Cox regression analysis of progression-free survival and overall survival showed that high FAR (≥0.145) was independent prognostic factors (P = 0.0061, P = 0.0024, respectively). Progression-free survival and overall survival were significantly shorter in the high FAR (≥0.145) group than those in the low FAR (<0.145) group (P = 0.0024, P = 0.0024, respectively). Conclusion Pretreatment FAR was an independent predictor for treatment response and independent prognostic factors in advanced NSCLC patients treated with first-line anti-PD-1 therapy plus platinum-based combination chemotherapy.
