Abstract
INTRODUCTION Myxomas are rare benign mesenchymal neoplasms and mostly occur in cardiac atrium and with lower prevalence, appear in sinonasal tract, gnathic bone, skin and joints. Benign primary tumors of the small intestine are quite unusual accounting about 3% of all the gastrointestinal tract neoplasms. PRESENTATION OF CASE In this report, we present a rare case of small intestinal myxoma in a 43-year-old man complicated by ileoileal intussusception causing bowel obstruction. The patient underwent segmental resection of small bowel and the histopathologic evaluation confirmed the diagnosis of small intestinal myxoma. DISCUSSION Among benign primary neoplasms of small bowel, Solitary intestinal myxomas are extremely rare mostly locate in submucosal layer of gastric, small bowel and rarely in cecum. To our knowledge only 9 cases of small bowel myxoma is reported in the literature so far. CONCLUSION This case report aware surgeons and pathologists about rare occurrence of intestinal myxomas as a differential diagnosis of intussusception.

Abstract
Myxomas of the small bowel are very rare. They usually present with mechanical small bowel obstruction caused by an intussusception. They mainly occur in females in their forties. Surgical resection is always indicated. They are usually solitary and do not metastasize.
Introduction Angiomyxoma-related intussusception in adults is extremely rare. Herein, we report an adult man who presented with mechanical small bowel obstruction caused by ileo-colic intussusception triggered by an angiomyxoma of the terminal ileum and review the literature on this topic. Presentation of case A-40-year-old man was referred to Al-Ain Hospital with a clinical picture of small bowel obstruction. He has no previous abdominal surgery. Clinical examination showed a distended soft abdomen, and hyperactive bowel sounds. Abdominal ultrasound and computed tomography scan showed a doughnut sign confirming the presence of ileo-colic intussusception as the cause for small bowel obstruction. At laparotomy, a mass was found in the right iliac fossa. Right hemi colectomy was performed with ileo-colic anastomosis. An ileal pedunculated mass triggered the intussusception. Histopathology of the mass was diagnostic of an angiomyxoma of small bowel. Echocardiogram showed no atrial synchronous myxoma. The patient was discharged home with good general condition. At three years follow up, the patient remained asymptomatic without evidence of recurrence. Conclusions Myxoma of small bowel should be included in the differential diagnosis of small bowel obstruction in the young age group particularly if the diagnosis of intussusception was made preoperatively.

Abstract
Myxomas are benign mesenchymal neoplasms of unknown etiology that most commonly occur in the cardiac atrium; however, other reported sites include the skin, joints, skeletal muscles, maxillofacial bones, and sinonasal tract. Myxomas involving the gastrointestinal (GI) tract are rare and are limited to a few published case reports. We are presenting, to our knowledge, the first case report of a mucosal myxoma in the colon presenting as a colonic polyp. A 49-year-old woman underwent a screening colonoscopy and was found to have a 0.2-cm sessile polyp in the cecum. Histologically, the polyp was composed of bland spindled cells in the lamina propria set in a hypocellular, myxoid stroma. The lesion was relatively well-demarcated from the surrounding mucosa. The overlying colonic epithelium showed no dysplasia. S-100 immunohistochemical stain showed only focal nonspecific positivity, while CD34, CD117, SMA, EMA, and desmin were all negative. Alcian blue special stain showed positive staining, supporting the diagnosis of myxoma. Myxomas in the GI tract are very rare, with this being the first reported case of a polypoid colonic mucosal myxoma. Previous reports of GI myxomas are limited to examples in the stomach, small bowel, and one recently reported case in the colon, all of which were submucosal lesions and not limited to the mucosa. In some of the prior reports, the patients had synchronous cardiac atrial myxomas. Mucosal colonic myxoma represents a newly identified mesenchymal polyp of the colon and pathologists should be aware of this diagnostic entity.

Abstract
Intestinal myxoma is among the rarest presentations of this benign tumour. Moreover, the association of an intestinal myxoma and a mesenteric lipoma is even more surprising. Intestinal tumours are often diagnosed inadvertently: a routine physical exam may identify these tumours or an abdominal computed tomography scan or abdominal ultrasound for another indication. Acute intestinal obstruction is rare. We hereby report the case of a 6-year-old boy who presented in the emergency room of our institution with acute intestinal obstruction and the management of this case.

Abstract
Synchronic occurrence of benign and malignant tumors is extremely rare. Fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma represents 1% to 2% of all hepatocarcinomas, while myxomas represent about half of all the cases of primary tumors of the heart. We present the case of a 53-year-old woman with a left atrial myxoma that was surgically removed. Several weeks later, the patient returned to the hospital with abdominal pain. CT scan showed a mass in the left lobe of the liver that was resected and diagnosed as fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma. As of this writing, the patient is healthy.

Abstract
We describe two patients with cardiac tumors in the left atrium, which by their association and histopathological lineage, are extremely rare. The clinical, echocardiographic and pathological findings were analysed. The first case was asymptomatic, but in the control studies of colon adenocarcinoma, an intracardiac mass was found by chest computed tomography (CT). A transesophageal 3D (TEE 3D) echocardiogram revealed a left atrial mass attached to the interatrial septum. The mass was surgically removed and histopathologic findings showed myxoma. The second had history of chronic intermittent diarrhea. A thoraco-abdominal CT showed a left atrial mass. The TEE 3D echocardiography reported an intracardiac mass attached to the roof of the left atrium. The mass was surgically removed and the histopathogical findings showed a myxoma, with dystrophic ossification and extramedullary hematopoiesis. TEE 3D echocardiography provides an acceptable morphological characterisation of intracardiac masses, with good correlation with surgery.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Myxomas of the small intestine are extremely rare types of primary bowel neoplasms. Their presence can trigger intestinal intussusception in the adults. We present the eighth case of intestinal myxoma reported in the English literature. PRESENTATION OF CASE Our patient is a 44-year-old Caucasian female who presented with clinical and imaging findings of intestinal intussusception. Laparotomy revealed ileo-ileal intussusception caused by an intramural mass of the middle-ileum which was resected. Histological and immunohistochemical studies pointed to the diagnosis of benign intestinal myxoma, while imaging studies of the heart excluded a synchronous cardiac myxoma. Twenty months after surgery she remains disease-free. DISCUSSION The myxoma is a benign, true neoplasm which resembles primitive mesenchyme. It occurs predominantly in the heart and is also found in several soft tissues and bones. Myxomas seem to grow at different rates of speed, they infiltrate adjacent structures and they do not metastasize, apart from cardiac variants. Intestinal myxomas share some clinical characteristics which are emphasized. CONCLUSION Myxomas of the small intestine should be included in the differential diagnosis of ileal tumors in middle-aged women manifesting as intestinal intussusception. Treatment should include wide resection of the affected intestinal segment with primary anastomosis. A close follow-up control of the patients along with cardiac imaging evaluation is recommended postoperatively, in order to detect and treat any possible recurrence of the tumor or a synchronous cardiac myxoma.

Abstract
Although transmission and engraftment of donor-derived malignancies is rare in recipients of solid organ transplants, it is associated with unfavorable allograft and patient survival. Therefore, a recent history of malignancy is considered a contraindication to organ donation. Although atrial myxomas are benign cardiac tumors of stromal origin, they can lead to systemic embolization with ectopic myxoma formation. We report successful liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation into 3 recipients from a donor with cerebral emboli from a left atrial myxoma. Eighteen months after transplantation, all 3 patients enjoy good allograft function and are free of donor-derived atrial myxoma. Although the duration of follow-up in this report is limited, we suggest that the presence of atrial myxoma should not be viewed as an absolute contraindication to organ recovery, particularly in view of the shortage of organ donors and the attendant morbidity and mortality for patients on waiting lists.
