Abstract
BACKGROUND Apolipoprotein A-1 (Apo A-1) is a constituent of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and emerging evidences put forward a potential association between Apo A-1 plasma levels and premature coronary artery disease (pCAD). The aim of the present study is to gather relative literature and perform a systematic review and meta-analysis regarding the association between serum ApoA-1 levels and pCAD. METHODS Medline (via PubMed), Scopus, Embase and Web of Science databases were searched from the inception of databases until December 7, 2020. All articles reporting the plasma levels of ApoA-1 in patients with pCAD and the control group were included. A meta-analysis with pooled standardised mean difference (SMD) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) was reported. Subgroup analyses were done based on the observed heterogeneity in results. RESULTS Seventeen case-control studies were included. ApoA-1 plasma level was calculated to be lower in pCAD patients compared with the control group (SMD: -0.67; 95% CI: -0.48 to -0.86; P < .001). The subgroup analysis and meta-regression showed that the variation in gender distribution, the development level of the target population's country and quality score of included studies were the main sources of heterogeneity. It was observed that the relationship was only significant in the developed countries (P < .001). Also, the heterogeneity was reduced when the analysis was limited to males (I2 = 57.2%) and females only (I2 = 26.0%). CONCLUSION In conclusion, there seems to be a significant association between the serum levels of ApoA-1 and pCAD. However, all of the included studies had a case-control design and since there is no good quality and prospective cohort studies included, reliability of the current evidence is debatable. Therefore, further well-designed cohort studies are required to assess the impact of serum ApoA-1 reduction on pCAD onset.

Abstract
Purpose: Nutritional quality and oxidation stability are two main factors in the evaluation of edible oils. Oils in their pure form do not have an ideal fatty acid composition or suitable oxidative stability during processing or storage. Methods: This study was designed to evaluate the chemical, nutritional and rheological properties of oil mixtures in three ratios of olive: sesame: linseed, 65:30:5; 60:30:10 and 55:30:15. Acidity value, peroxide value, rancimat test, fatty acid profile, nutritional indexes and rheological properties of the oil blends were determined. The nutritional quality was determined by indexes, including the atherogenic and thrombogenic indexs; the ratios of hypocholesterolemic: hypercholesterolemic; poly unsaturated fatty acid: saturated fatty acid and the ω6:ω3. Results: The results indicated that blending of other vegetable oils with linseed oil could balance ω6:ω3. Results showed that formulated oils had a good balance of oxidation stability and nutritional properties as well. Rheological data showed that these oil blends followed Newtonian behavior at 4°C and 25°C. Conclusion: According to the results, addition of linseed oil to vegetable oils containing high levels of bioactive compounds was a simple and economic practice to obtain a functional oil with good nutritional and stability properties.

Abstract
Exercise training has been firmly established as an additional therapeutic strategy in addition to pharmacological and interventional treatment in patients with cardiovascular disease. Benefits for quality of life as well as prognosis have been confirmed for cardiovascular risk factors, ischemic heart disease, after myocardial infarction, in heart failure with preserved as well as reduced ejection fraction, in atrial fibrillation and in patients after catheter-assisted aortic valve implantation (TAVI), with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) or with left ventricular assist devices (VAD). Training programs have to be tailored according to the disease, stage of disease, comorbidities, age of the patient, medication as well as exercise capacity. For prescribing exercise mode and intensity, a maximum exercise test has to be performed. Ideally, this is accompanied by spirometry to assess maximum values such as maximum oxygen consumption. Training intensity will then be prescribed according to the optimal training range and maximum training intensity.

Abstract
Bacteriophages (phages) are omnipresent in our environment, and recent studies highlight their potential impact on the microbial world. Phages can also be present in mammalian organisms, including man (intestines, oral cavity, urine, sputum and serum). Data are available which suggest that those endogenous phages could play an important role in eliminating bacteria and regulating the body ecosystem. Furthermore, our most recent findings suggest that phages can exert immunosuppressive action in the gut, helping control local inflammatory and autoimmune reactions, and demonstrate anticancer activity. We hypothesize that phages could act in concert with the immune system in immunosurveillance against bacteria, viruses and cancer.
