Abstract
BACKGROUND Early identification and therapy can significantly improve the outcome for gastric cancer. However, there is still no perfect biomarker available for the detection of early gastric cancer. This study aimed to investigate the alterations in the plasma metabolites of early gastric cancer using metabolomics and lipidomics based on high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS), which detected potential biomarkers that could be used for clinical diagnosis. METHODS To investigate the changes in metabolomics and lipidomics, a total of 30 plasma samples were collected, consisting of 15 patients with early gastric cancer and 15 healthy controls. Extensive HPLC-MS-based untargeted metabolomic and lipidomic investigations were conducted. Differential metabolites and metabolic pathways were uncovered through the utilization of statistical analysis and bioinformatics analysis. Candidate biomarker screening was performed using support vector machine-based multivariate receiver operating characteristic analysis. RESULTS A disturbance was observed in a combined total of 19 metabolites and 67 lipids of the early gastric cancer patients. The analysis of KEGG pathways showed that the early gastric cancer patients experienced disruptions in the arginine biosynthesis pathway, the pathway for alanine, aspartate, and glutamate metabolism, as well as the pathway for glyoxylate and dicarboxylate metabolism. Plasma metabolomics and lipidomics have identified multiple biomarker panels that can effectively differentiate early gastric cancer patients from healthy controls, exhibiting an area under the curve exceeding 0.9. CONCLUSION These metabolites and lipids could potentially serve as biomarkers for the screening of early gastric cancer, thereby optimizing the strategy for the detection of early gastric cancer. The disrupted pathways implicated in early gastric cancer provide new clues for additional understanding of gastric cancer's pathogenesis. Nonetheless, large-scale clinical data are required to prove our findings.

Abstract
PURPOSE Tumor-associated serum markers have demonstrated predictive and prognostic value in patients being treated for malignancies. However, the clinical importance of tumor markers in gastric cancers (GC) is poorly standardized. OBJECTIVES The objective is to assess the clinical utility of cytokeratin-19 fragment (CYFRA 21-1) and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) as serum tumor markers in advanced GC. METHODS In this prospective study, CYFRA 21-1 and CEA levels were measured at baseline and after three cycles of chemotherapy in patients with advanced GC. The association of tumor marker levels with prognosis and decline of tumor markers with radiological overall response rates (ORR) and survival were analyzed. RESULTS In the 105 patients, the proportion of patients with elevated baseline CYFRA 21-1 and CEA levels was 55% (N = 58) and 37% (N = 39) based on predefined cutoffs. Response assessment was done for 61 patients who received a minimum of three cycles of chemotherapy. A 15% and 13% reduction of serum levels from baseline for CYFRA 21-1 and CEA were selected for defining "CYFRA 21-1 response" and "CEA-response," respectively. Both responses were significant predictors of radiological ORR. The median overall survival (OS) was 9.6 months in the entire cohort and 13 months for patients who received at least three cycles of chemotherapy. In multivariate analysis, baseline CEA levels and ECOG status were significant predictors of OS. In a subset analysis of patients receiving palliative chemotherapy, any of the tumor marker responses predicted improved 1-year OS. CONCLUSION In advanced GC, CYFRA 21-1 and CEA decline from baseline appeared to be reliable surrogate markers of chemotherapy efficacy and improved survival.

Abstract
Cervical lymph node (LN) metastasis is common in differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC). This study evaluated the utility of the washout CYFRA 21-1 level, combined with the thyroglobulin (Tg) concentration, in terms of diagnosis of LN metastasis. We prospectively enrolled 53 patients who underwent thyroid surgery to treat DTC with lateral cervical LN metastases. Preoperative ultrasound guided needle localization was used to surgical sampling of specific LNs during the operation. The intraoperative washout Tg and CYFRA 21-1 levels were measured in such LNs. The Tg and CYFRA 21-1 levels differed significantly between metastatic and benign LNs. The cutoff values were 2.63 ng/mL for washout CYFRA 21-1 and 22.62 ng/mL for Tg. Combined use of the washout Tg and CYFRA 21-1 levels afforded the highest diagnostic accuracy (92.5%), better than that of individual markers. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV) were 94.6%, 90.0%, 91.4%, 93.8%, respectively. The conjunction of the washout CYFRA21-1 and Tg levels enhances the diagnostic accuracy of LN metastasis in DTC patients. The washout CYFRA 21-1 level may be useful when malignancy is suspected, especially in cases where the cytology and washout Tg findings do not provide definitive results.

Abstract
Oral cancer is one of the most common malignancies worldwide, accounting for 2% of all cases annually and 1.8% of all cancer deaths. To date, tissue biopsy and histopathological analyses are the gold standard methods for the diagnosis of oral cancers. However, oral cancer is generally diagnosed at advanced stages with a consequent poor 5-year survival (~50%) due to limited screening programs and inefficient physical examination strategies. To address these limitations, liquid biopsy is recently emerging as a novel minimally invasive tool for the early identification of tumors as well as for the evaluation of tumor heterogeneity and prognosis of patients. Several studies have demonstrated that liquid biopsy in oral cancer could be useful for the detection of circulating biomarkers including circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), microRNAs (miRNAs), proteins, and exosomes, thus improving diagnostic strategies and paving the way to personalized medicine. However, the application of liquid biopsy in oral cancer is still limited and further studies are needed to better clarify its clinical impact. The present manuscript aims to provide an updated overview of the potential use of liquid biopsy as an additional tool for the management of oral lesions by describing the available methodologies and the most promising biomarkers.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The monitoring of anti-p53 auto-antibodies in the peripheral blood has been used in cancer management; however, their clinical significance alone is limited. This pilot study aimed to describe the prevalence of elevated anti-p53 in newly diagnosed or recurrent upper gastrointestinal cancer or colorectal cancer in Chinese subjects. It also evaluated whether the addition of anti-p53 to a set of established tumor markers would allow for the detection of additional cancer cases than when using these markers alone. METHODS A total of 573 subjects, including 187 healthy individuals, 169 patients with upper gastrointestinal cancer and 217 patients with colorectal cancer were included in this observational, prospective study. All subjects were required to provide up to 10 mL of blood. The following biomarkers were measured: anti-p53, carcinoembryonic antigen, cancer antigen (CA)19-9, and CA72-4. RESULTS At the cutoff of 0.02 µg/mL, the sensitivity of anti-p53 in early-stage upper gastrointestinal cancer and colorectal cancer was 8.16% and 26.4%, and in late-stage disease was 7.81 and 28.0%, respectively. The specificity of anti-p53 in the healthy cohort at this cutoff was 98.4%. By adding anti-p53 to other tumor markers, the sensitivities were increased by 8.88%-9.47% in upper gastrointestinal cancer, and by 18.06%-25.00% in colorectal cancer; specificities decreased by 1%-2%. CONCLUSION The addition of anti-p53 to established tumor markers may improve their diagnostic value for patients with colorectal cancer.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Detecting upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancers in primary care is challenging, as cancer symptoms are common, often non-specific, and most patients presenting with these symptoms will not have cancer. Substantial investment has been made to develop biomarkers for cancer detection, but few have reached routine clinical practice. We aimed to identify novel biomarkers for upper GI cancers which have been sufficiently validated to be ready for evaluation in low-prevalence populations. METHODS We systematically searched MEDLINE, Embase, Emcare, and Web of Science for studies published in English from January 2000 to October 2019 (PROSPERO registration CRD42020165005). Reference lists of included studies were assessed. Studies had to report on second measures of diagnostic performance (beyond discovery phase) for biomarkers (single or in panels) used to detect pancreatic, oesophageal, gastric, and biliary tract cancers. We included all designs and excluded studies with less than 50 cases/controls. Data were extracted on types of biomarkers, populations and outcomes. Heterogeneity prevented pooling of outcomes. RESULTS We identified 149 eligible studies, involving 22,264 cancer cases and 49,474 controls. A total of 431 biomarkers were identified (183 microRNAs and other RNAs, 79 autoantibodies and other immunological markers, 119 other proteins, 36 metabolic markers, 6 circulating tumour DNA and 8 other). Over half (n = 231) were reported in pancreatic cancer studies. Only 35 biomarkers had been investigated in at least two studies, with reported outcomes for that individual marker for the same tumour type. Apolipoproteins (apoAII-AT and apoAII-ATQ), and pepsinogens (PGI and PGII) were the most promising biomarkers for pancreatic and gastric cancer, respectively. CONCLUSION Most novel biomarkers for the early detection of upper GI cancers are still at an early stage of matureness. Further evidence is needed on biomarker performance in low-prevalence populations, in addition to implementation and health economic studies, before extensive adoption into clinical practice can be recommended.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Gastric cancer is one of the common gastrointestinal tumors, with high recurrence and metastasis rates. Tumor marker tumor marker carbohydrate antigen 72-4 (CA72-4) has been used in the screening and diagnosis of gastric cancer, but whether it can be used as an indicator to monitor the prognosis of gastric cancer remains a great controversy. The purpose of this study was to systematically evaluate the correlation between tumor marker CA72-4 and prognosis of gastric cancer patients. METHODS A systematic search was performed by retrieving on English databases (PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, the Cochrane Library) and Chinese databases (China Knowledge Network, Wanfang, Weipu (VIP Information Chinese Journal Service Platform), CBM) of clinical study on the correlation between tumor marker CA72-4 and prognosis of gastric cancer patients. The retrieval time limit was from the establishment of the database to October 2020. Two researchers independently extracted and evaluated the quality of the data in the included study. A meta-analysis was performed using Stata12.0 and RevMan5.3 software. CONCLUSIONS This study will compare the correlation between tumor marker CA72-4 and prognosis of gastric cancer patients, so as to provide evidence-based basis for clinicians to select prognostic indicators of gastric cancer. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION Private information from individuals will not be published. This systematic review also does not involve endangering participant rights. Ethical approval was not required. Abstract
Cytokeratin fraction 21–1 (CYFRA 21–1) has been widely studied as an important biomarker in non-small cell lung cancer for both diagnosis and prognosis. Many studies have also assessed the clinical applications of CYFRA 21–1 in head and neck cancer, but the diagnostic and prognostic values of CYFRA 21–1 are not yet fully established. This pooled analysis aims at evaluating the diagnostic accuracy and prognostic applications of CYFRA 21–1 in patients with head and neck cancer. A systematic retrieval of literatures was conducted without time or language restrictions by searching PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane library and China National Knowledge Infrastructure. Twenty studies were eligible for systematic review, of which 14 conformed for diagnostic analysis and 7 for prognostic analysis. The pooled sensitivity and specificity of CYFRA 21–1 analysis were 0.53 (95% CI: 0.39–0.67) and 0.97 (95% CI: 0.93–0.99), respectively. A high level of CYFRA 21–1 was significantly correlated with shorter overall survival (HR 1.33, 95% CI: 1.13–1.56) and disease-free survival (HR 1.48; 95%CI: 1.10–1.97). Current evidence indicates that the level of CYFRA 21–1 in the serum could be used as an indicator for monitoring tumor status and evaluating its curative effects.

Abstract
CA724 is a clinically used serum biomarker used for cancer diagnosis, which includes digestive tract cancers (esophageal, gastric, and colorectal carcinomas), ovarian cancer, and nonsmall cell lung cancer. In general, the serum CA724 level is lower than 6U/mL in healthy controls and significantly higher in cancer patients. It has been further established that serum CA724 level is related to the pathological stage and prognosis of cancers. However, CA724 is not only expressed in tumor tissues but also in normal tissues such as the secretory endometrium and transitional colonic mucosa, which indicates that CA724 is not a unique product of cancer cells. Currently, the serum CA724 levels in patients suffering cancer or nonneoplasm diseases have not been systematically measured and compared. In our study, a total of 38,526 clinical lab test results of serum CA724 levels from healthy controls and patients suffering 34 different types of diseases including cancers and nonneoplasm illnesses during the past 3 years (2015-2018) were collected and analyzed. We found that the mean values of serum CA724 levels were significantly higher in patients suffering gout (23.7U/mL) and gouty arthritis (31.45U/mL) than that of cancer patients (Mann-Whitney test, p<0.0001). The summarized mean and median values of serum CA724 data for healthy controls vs patients suffering 34 different types of diseases indicated that the abnormal serum CA724 levels might be a systemic malfunction indicator rather than a cancer cell-secreted product; the log10p values showed that CA724 is not only a cancer biomarker but also a potential biomarker for patients suffering gout.

Abstract
Introduction To evaluate the impact of serum and peritoneal levels of tumour markers on peritoneal carcinomatosis and survival in gastric adenocarcinoma. Materials and methods Patients with gastric adenocarcinoma were evaluated with regard to serum and peritoneal carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and CA19-9. Numeric values and groupings based on serum and peritoneal cutoff values were used. Development of peritoneal carcinomatosis, including positive washing cytology, was regarded as main outcome. Gastric cancer outcomes as disease free and overall survival were analysed. Results There were 67 patients with a mean age of 60 ± 11 years. Positive peritoneal washing cytology was significantly associated with serum CA19-9 and high serum CA 19-9 group (P = 0.033 and P = 0.011, respectively). High peritoneal CEA was shown to be significantly associated with peritoneal carcinomatosis (P = 0.032). After a median follow up of 17 months, 48 patients (71.7%) were alive. Patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis showed significant poorer prognosis as shown by overall survival rate of 28.6%. Only serum CEA was significantly associated with lower disease free and overall survival (P = 0.002 and P = 0.001, respectively). Discussion and conclusion Serum CEA is shown to be significantly associated with poor prognosis for gastric cancer patients. Serum level of CA19-9 and high peritoneal CEA levels are significant predictors for positive peritoneal washing cytology and the development of peritoneal carcinomatosis, respectively. Therefore, the possible impact of serum and peritoneal tumor markers especially on the staging and prognosis of gastric cancer remains to be clarified by future studies.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Gastric cancer is common malignancy and exhibits a poor prognosis. At the time of diagnosis, the majority of patients present with metastatic disease which precludes curative treatment. Non-invasive biomarkers which discriminate early from advanced stages or predict the response to treatment are urgently required. This study explored the cytokeratin-18 fragment M30 and full-length cytokeratin-18 M65 in predicting treatment response and survival in a randomized, placebo-controlled trial of advanced gastric cancer. METHODS Patients enrolled in the SUN-CASE study received sunitinib or placebo as an adjunct to standard therapy with leucovorin (Ca-folinate), 5-fluorouracil, and irinotecan in second or third line. Treatment response rates, progression-free survival and overall survival were assessed during a follow-up period of 12 months. Cytokeratin-18 fragments were analyzed in 52 patients at baseline and day 14 of therapy. RESULTS Levels of M30 correlated with the presence of metastasis and lymph node involvement and decreased significantly during chemotherapy. Importantly, baseline levels of M30 were significantly higher in patients who failed therapy. In addition, patients who did not respond to treatment were also identifiable at day 14 based on elevated M30 levels. By stepwise regression analysis, M30 at day 14 was identified as independent predictor of treatment response. Likewise, serum levels of full-length cytokeratin-18 M65 at baseline also correlated with treatment failure and progression-free survival. The addition of sunitinib did not exert any effects on serum levels of M30 or M65. CONCLUSION The cytokeratin-18 fragment M30 at day 14 identifies patients that fail to second- or third-line therapy for advanced gastric cancer. Validation of this non-invasive biomarker in gastric cancer is warranted.

Abstract
This study investigated the effects of different anesthesia and analgesia methods on immune function and serum tumor marker levels of critically ill patients undergoing tumor resection surgery. Seventy-six critically ill patients with indications for tumor resection surgery were selected in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from September 2015 to August 2016. The patients were randomly divided into a control and an observation group (38 patients each). The patients in the control group were treated with general anesthesia and postoperative intravenous analgesia, while the patients in the observation group were treated with general anesthesia and epidural anesthesia and postoperative epidural analgesia. Venous blood samples were collected at 30 min before anesthesia (T1), 2 h after the beginning of the surgery (T2), immediately after surgery (T3), 24 h after surgery (T4) and 72 h after surgery (T5). The viable cell percentage of T lymphocyte subsets (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+) and natural killer (NK) cells were measured by flow cytometry. The levels of carcinoembryonic antigen, sugar chain antigen 199, sugar chain antigen 125, neuron specific enolase and cytokeratin 19 were detected by electrochemiluminescence at 24 h before and after operation. Our results showed the levels of CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the control group at T3-T5 were significantly lower than those at T1 (p<0.05). The CD3+ level in observation group at T3 was also significantly lower than the level at T1 (p<0.05), but it increased at T4 and T5 and showed no significant difference compared with the initial level (p>0.05). The levels of CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group at T2-T5 (p<0.05). And, the levels of CD3+ and CD4+ were significantly higher than those in the control group at T4 (p<0.05). The level of CD4+/CD8+ was significantly higher than that in the control group at T5 (p<0.05). No significant differences were found in the levels of CD8+ and NK cells between the 2 groups at any of the time-points (p>0.05). No significant differences were found either in any of the tested tumor markers in either group after 24 h. Even without differences on the tumor marker levels, these results suggest that general anesthesia combined with epidural anesthesia and analgesia produces milder deleterious effects on the immune function of perioperative critically ill patients than general anesthesia combined with intravenous analgesia.

Abstract
Our aim was to investigate the value of combined detection of serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen (CA) 19-9, CA 242 and CA 50 in diagnosis and assessment of prognosis in consecutive gastric cancer patients. Clinical data including preoperative serum CEA, CA 19-9, CA 242, and CA 50 values and information on clinical pathological factors were collected and analyzed retrospectively. Univariate and multivariate survival analyses were used to explore the relationship between tumor markers and survival. Positive rates of tumor markers CEA, CA 19-9, CA 242 and CA 50 in the diagnosis of gastric cancer were 17.7, 17.1, 20.4 and 13.8%, respectively, and the positive rate for all four markers combined was 36.6%. Patients with elevated preoperative serum concentrations of CEA, CA 19-9, CA 242 and CA 50, had late clinical tumor stage and significantly poorer overall survival. Five-year survival rates in patients with elevated CEA, CA 19-9, CA 242 and CA 50 were 28.1, 25.8, 27.0 and 24.1%, respectively, compared with 55.0, 55.4, 56.4 and 54.5% in patients with these markers at normal levels (p<0.01). In multivariate Cox proportional hazards analyses, an elevated CA 242 level was determined to be an independent prognostic marker in gastric cancer patients. Combined detection of four tumor markers increased the positive rate for gastric cancer diagnosis. CA 242 showed higher diagnostic value and CA 50 showed lower diagnostic value. In resectable gastric carcinoma, preoperative CA 242 level was associated with disease stage, and was found to be a significant independent prognostic marker in gastric cancer patients.

Abstract
Introduction: Pleural effusion diagnosis plays an important role in determining treatment strategies. The aim
of this study was to determine the diagnostic capacity of tumor markers CA 15-3 and NSE solely or in combination
in differentiating the nature of pleural fluid. Methods and Materials: In this cross-sectional study we evaluated 93
patients with pleural effusions (44 malignant and 49 benign). NSE and CA 15-3 serum and pleural levels were measured
simultaneously using immunoenzyme assay kits. Diagnosis was established on the basis of cytological study. Results:
Sensitivity and specificity of CA 15-3 serum and pleural level measurement were 70.4%, 49.0%, and 79.5% and 49.0%,
respectively. Serum NSE levels had 75.0% sensitivity and 69.4% specificity while the respective pleural figures were
75.0% and 73.5%. The combination of NSE and CA 15-3 serum and pleural levels had the highest sensitivity (93.2%),
although combined serum levels had the lowest sensitivity (47.7%). With an accuracy of 74.2%, pleural levels of NSE
had the highest diagnostic potential. Conclusion: Measuring NSE and CA 15-3 tumor markers is a suitable approach
to distinguish the nature of pleural effusions, with NSE pleural levels demonstrating the highest diagnostic accuracy.

Abstract
Background At present, the research on serum tumor markers in the early diagnosis of malignant tumors has aroused widespread concern. The aim of this study was to investigate the diagnostic values of serum tumor markers cytokeratin 19 fragment (Cyfra21-1), squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCCAg), ferritin, carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9), and α-fetoprotein (AFP) for patients with oral/oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma (OSCC/OPSCC). Methods One hundred and sixty-nine cases of patients with OSCC/OPSCC as the experimental group, 86 cases of oral benign tumor patients as the control group, and 30 cases of healthy people as the normal control group were studied. The levels of serum Cyfra21-1, SCCAg, ferritin, CEA, CA19-9, and AFP were measured using electrochemiluminescence immunoassay. Results The levels of serum Cyfra21-1, SCCAg, ferritin, and CEA in patients with OSCC/OPSCC were significantly higher than those of benign tumor and healthy control group (P<0.05). The levels of CA19-9 and AFP showed no significant difference between patients with OSCC/OPSCC, benign tumor, and healthy group (P>0.05). The level of serum Cyfra21-1 in patients with early OSCC/OPSCC (stage I + II) was significantly higher than that of benign tumor and healthy control group (P<0.05). However, the levels of serum SCCAg, ferritin, CEA, CA19-9, and AFP showed no significant difference between patients with early OSCC/OPSCC, benign tumor, and healthy control group (P>0.05). The levels of serum Cyfra21-1, SCCAg, ferritin, and CEA in the middle-late stage of patients with OSCC/OPSCC (stage III + IV) were significantly higher than those of patients with the early OSCC/OPSCC, benign tumor, and healthy control group (P<0.05). The diagnostic cutoff levels of Cyfra21-1, SCCAg, ferritin, and CEA were 2.17, 0.72, 109.95, and 1.99 ng/mL, respectively. The sensitivities were 60.36%, 73.37%, 81.66%, and 66.27%, respectively. The specificities were 81.03%, 68.10%, 40.52%, and 61.21%, respectively. Conclusion Cyfra21-1, SCCAg, ferritin, and CEA had diagnostic values for patients with OSCC/OPSCC. Meanwhile, Cyfra21-1 had better early diagnostic value for patients with OSCC/OPSCC.

Abstract
To evaluate the value of combined detection of serum CEA, CA19-9, CA24-2, AFP, CA72-4, SCC, TPA and TPS for the clinical diagnosis of upper gastrointestinal tract (GIT) cancer and to analyze the efficacy of these tumor markers (TMs) in evaluating curative effects and prognosis. A total of 573 patients with upper GIT cancer between January 2004 and December 2007 were enrolled in this study. Serum levels of CEA, CA19-9, CA24-2, AFP, CA72-4, SCC, TPA and TPS were examined preoperatively and every 3 months postoperatively by ELISA. The sensitivity of CEA, CA19-9, CA24-2, AFP, CA72-4, SCC, TPA and TPS were 26.8%, 36.2%, 42.9%, 2.84%, 25.4%, 34.6%, 34.2% and 30.9%, respectively. The combined detection of CEA+CA199+CA242+CA724 had higher sensitivity and specificity in gastric cancer (GC) and cardiac cancer, while CEA+CA199+CA242+SCC was the best combination of diagnosis for esophageal cancer (EC). Elevation of preoperative CEA, CA19-9 and CA24-2, SCC and CA72-4 was significantly associated with pathological types (p<0.05) and TNM staging (p<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that CA24-2 was significantly correlated with CA19-9 (r=0.810, p<0.001). The levels of CEA, CA19-9, CA24-2, CA72-4 and SCC decreased obviously 3 months after operations. When metastasis and recurrence occurred, the levels of TMs significantly increased. On multivariate analysis, high preoperative CA72-4, CA24-2 and SCC served as prognostic factors for cardiac carcinoma, GC and EC, respectively. combined detection of CEA+CA199+CA242+SCC proved to be the most economic and practical strategy in diagnosis of EC; CEA+CA199+CA242+CA724 proved to be a better evaluation indicator for cardiac cancer and GC. CEA and CA19-9, CA24-2, CA72-4 and SCC, examined postoperatively during follow-up, were useful to find early tumor recurrence and metastasis, and evaluate prognosis. AFP, TPA and TPS have no significant value in diagnosis of patients with upper GIT cancer.
