Salticidae (Arachnida, Araneae) of Thailand: new species and records of Epeus Peckham & Peckham, 1886 and Ptocasius Simon, 1885

Three new species of jumping spiders (Araneae, Salticidae) from Hunan, China

Three new species of the genera Thiania C. L. Koch, 1846 and Yaginumaella Prószyński, 1979 are described and named as T.bamian sp. nov. (♂♀), T.flacata sp. nov. (♀) and Y.curvata sp. nov. (♂♀), from Hunan Province, China. Detailed descriptions, photos of somatic features and copulatory organs, as well as a distribution map are provided. Nucleotide data for the barcoding gene, cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) of T.bamian sp. nov. (♂♀) and Y.curvata sp. nov. (♀) are provided.

Eleven species of jumping spiders from Sichuan, Xizang, and Yunnan, China (Araneae, Salticidae)

Ten new species of jumping spiders are described from China, including Attulusjimanisp. nov. (♂♀) from Yunnan, Colaxescibagousp. nov. (♂♀), Epeuspengisp. nov. (♂♀), Evarchazayusp. nov. (♂♀), Iciuszangsp. nov. (♂♀), Pancoriusnyingchisp. nov. (♂♀), Stertiniusliqingaesp. nov. (♂♀), and Synagelidesmedogsp. nov. (♀) from Xizang, S.tianquansp. nov. (♂♀), and Yaginumaellaerlangsp. nov. (♂♀) from Sichuan. The hitherto unknown female of Phintellalongapophysis Lei & Peng, 2013 is described for the first time. Diagnostic photos and the distributional maps for all species are provided. Four new combinations are proposed: Epeusdilucidus (Próchniewicz, 1990), comb. nov., and E.guangxi (Peng & Li, 2002), comb. nov. transferred from Plexippoides Prószyński, 1984, Phintellasufflava (Jastrzębski, 2009), comb. nov. transferred from Carrhotus Thorell, 1891, and Yaginumaellaarmata (Jastrzębski, 2011), comb. nov. transferred from Pancorius Simon, 1902.

On ten jumping spider species described by Song and Chai (1992) based on type specimens (Araneae, Salticidae)

Ten jumping spider species published by Song and Chai in 1992 are restudied. The following new synonyms are proposed: Chinattus emeiensis (Peng & Xie, 1995) syn. nov. [=C. undulatus (Song & Chai, 1992)], Evarcha paralbaria Song & Chai, 1992 syn. nov. (= E. coreana Seo, 1988), Ptocasius nanyuensis (Xie & Peng, 1995) syn. nov. [=P. badongensis (Song & Chai, 1992)]. Evarcha orientalis (Song & Chai, 1992) is transferred to Nigorella Wesoowska & Tomasiewicz, 2008. The synonymy status of Chinattus szechwanensis (Prszyski, 1992) with C. undulatus (Song & Chai, 1992) and Nigorella hunanensis (Peng, Xie & Kim, 1993) with N. hirticeps (Song & Chai, 1992) are restored.

Thirteen species of jumping spiders from northern Vietnam (Araneae, Salticidae)

A new genus and thirteen species of jumping spiders from northern Vietnam are reported. Zabkagen. nov. is erected to accommodate two species transferred from Euophrys Blackwall,1841, including the generotype, Z. cooki (Żabka, 1985), comb. nov., and Z. xuyei (Lin & Li, 2020), comb. nov. Twelve new species are described: Chinattus crewsaesp. nov. (♂♀), C. logunovisp. nov. (♂♀), Eupoa maidinhyenisp. nov. (♂♀), E. maddisonisp. nov. (♂♀), E. ninhbinhsp. nov. (♂), E. zabkaisp. nov. (♂♀), Indopadilla cucsp. nov. (♂♀), Synagelides anisp. nov. (♂♀), S. miisp. nov. (♂♀), S. pengisp. nov. (♀), S. sanchasp. nov. (♂♀), and Yaginumaella hagiangsp. nov. (♂). The unknown male of Zabka cooki is described for the first time. Diagnostic photos of the habitus and copulatory organs are provided.
