Abstract
Background: Telemedicine has emerged as a promising solution to address the challenges of providing continuous care to breast cancer patients, particularly in remote areas. This study aims to assess the acceptability of using telemedicine for breast cancer follow-up. Methods: A cross-sectional study utilizing a self-administered survey was conducted from January to March 2024 among 450 breast cancer patients at the Universiti Malaya Medical Center, Malaysia. Partial least-squares structural equation modeling was used to identify factors such as demographics, patients' characteristics, experience with telemedicine, attitudes, and concern of telemedicine use influencing willingness to use telemedicine for breast cancer follow-up. Results: Of the total 450 complete responses received, nearly half (49.3%) reported being somewhat likely to seek telemedicine for breast cancer follow-up, while only 11.1% reported being very likely. Comfort with telemedicine emerged as the strongest predictor of willingness to use it (β = 0.757, p < 0.001). A higher level of concern significantly negatively impacted willingness (β = -0.138, p < 0.001). However, attitudes toward telemedicine (β = 0.059, p = 0.144) were not significantly associated with its use. Among demographic factors, only age (β = 0.074, p = 0.018) was significantly positively associated with the willingness to use telemedicine, while education levels were found to have a significant inverse association (β = -0.076, p = 0.034). Conclusions: Improving comfort with telemedicine and addressing various concerns about its use for breast cancer follow-up through educational programs and support services are essential. Tailoring communication and support for different age groups and education levels can also enhance acceptance and utilization.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study investigates patients' use of eHealth services, their awareness of the availability of these services, and their intention to use them in primary care. It also examines patient characteristics and factors that influence the use of these services. METHODS A cross-sectional design using questionnaires was conducted. Based on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), the participants rated the two most common services. Descriptive analyses and linear correlation analyses were performed. A simple linear regression was conducted to identify factors influencing the participants' intention to use eHealth services. RESULTS In total, 1203 participants with an average age of 43.7 years were surveyed. The participants' usage rates varied, with the lowest at 2.4%, for measuring vital signs, and the highest at 47.4%, for booking appointments. The intentions to use the services ranged from 22.5%, for video consultations, to 46.6%, for prescription refill requests. Approximately 20% of the respondents were unaware of each service's availability. Positive associations were found between all the constructs and the intention to use online services, with a younger age being the most significant factor. CONCLUSIONS The use of and intention to use eHealth services varied greatly. The participants were often unaware of the availability of these services. Promoting the availability and benefits of eHealth services could enhance patient engagement in primary care settings.

Abstract
Introduction E-health, defined as the utilization of information and communication technologies for health services, has become integral in enhancing healthcare delivery and accessibility. This study focuses on user satisfaction and perceptions of e-health applications in rural health centers, with special focus on Tamil Nadu, India. E-health technologies have proven to be effective in addressing challenges to healthcare accessibility and improving patient outcomes, at reduced costs. Despite these benefits, there is a need to understand user experiences in rural settings to optimize the implementation of e-health solutions. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted among 383 patients registered in a non-communicable disease (NCD) clinic and specialty clinic in the rural health center of a tertiary care hospital in Tiruvallur district. Participants were selected using a consecutive sampling method from the NCD and specialty clinic registers. A semi-structured questionnaire was used to collect data on their perception and satisfaction with e-health applications. Data was entered in (Microsoft) MS Excel (Microsoft Corporation, Redmond, Washington, United States) and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 25 (Released 2017; IBM Corp., Armonk, New York, United States). Results The overall mean age was 49.45 ± 7 years. Among the study participants, females constituted 57.3% compared to males who constituted 42.7%. 58.3% of the participants had comorbid conditions. More than half of the study participants were educated up to the high school level. According to BG Prasad's classification, 86.9 % of the participants belonged to middle class and below. Among the study participants, more than half of them use their smartphones as devices for internet access to use e-health applications. The study participants who had no co-morbid conditions were 3.3 times the odds of having poor perception and satisfaction when compared to the other categories (OR = 3.3, CI = 2.1 - 5.1) in using e-health applications, and this difference was found to be statistically significant (p = 0.01). Conclusion This study's findings reveal that gender, socio-economic status, occupation, and the presence of comorbid illnesses play significant roles in shaping users' perceptions and satisfaction levels. This study's findings underscore the importance of tailored e-health interventions to address these barriers and enhance healthcare delivery in rural areas.

Abstract
Introduction: Teleradiology allows distant facilities to electronically transmit images for interpretation, thereby bridging the radiology service gap between urban and rural areas. The technology improves healthcare quality, treatment options, and diagnostic accuracy. However, in low resource settings like Ethiopia, teleradiology services are limited, posing challenges for implementation. Therefore, this study is aimed at exploring the factors that facilitated or hindered the implementation of web-based teleradiology in the public hospitals of the South Gondar Zone, Northwest Ethiopia. Methods: In this study, a purposive sampling method was employed to select seventeen participants, including hospital managers, physicians, emergency surgeons, and radiologists, for an in-depth interview (IDI). The interviews were conducted from March to May 2023. A reflexive thematic analysis was conducted using an abductive coding technique at the semantic/explicit level. Data were collected through semistructured interviews conducted face-to-face and virtually, with audio recordings transcribed, translated, and analyzed using Open Code version 4.02 software. Trustworthiness was ensured through prolonged engagement, reflective journaling, and review by coauthors. Results: The study examined eight main themes, with barriers to sustainable teleradiology implementation falling into five categories: technological, organizational, environmental, individual, and workflow and communication. Conversely, identified facilitators included improved radiology service efficiency, system accessibility, collaboration opportunities, and user trust in the radiology ecosystem. Within each theme, factors with potential impacts on teleradiology system sustainability were identified, such as the lack of system handover mechanisms, absence of a central image consultation center, and inadequate staffing of full-time radiologists and technical personnel. Conclusions: The study highlights the positive user perception of a web-based teleradiology system's user-friendliness and efficiency. Overcoming challenges and leveraging facilitators are crucial for optimizing teleradiology and improving service delivery and patient outcomes. A centralized consultation center with dedicated radiologists and technical personnel is recommended for maximizing efficiency.

Abstract
Background This study aimed to determine the rate of telemedicine (TM) use and the levels of awareness, knowledge, attitude, and skills of TM among primary healthcare (PHC) providers. Methods In a cross-sectional study, 104 PHC providers were subjected to a validated AKAS scale via Survey Monkey. The tool consists of 4 parameters that users can respond to using a 4-point Likert scale to assess their awareness (12 statements), knowledge (11 statements), attitude (11 statements), and skills (13 statements) on TM. Total and percentage mean scores (PMS) were calculated for each parameter. Participants were categorized in each parameter into three categories: low (≤ 49% score), average (50-70% score), and high (≥ 71% score) levels. The association of AKAS levels with personal characteristics and TM use was investigated. The significance was set at p<0.05. Results One-half of participants (51%) reported current use of TM, and two-thirds (63.5%) reported a high level of AKAS, with a PMS of 72.9±14.7, 95% CI: 70.1-75.7. There were significant associations between the following: years of experience and levels of knowledge (Χ2LT = 6.77, p= 0.009) and skills (Χ2LT = 4.85, p = 0.028), respectively; and total household income and levels of skills (Χ2LT = 6.91, p= 0.009). The rate of TM use was significantly associated with awareness levels (Χ2LT = 6.14, p = 0.013). Lack of training ranked as the first barrier (45.5%), followed by connection problems and tools' unavailability (35.1% each). The participants recommended providing TM training (41.1%) and stabilization of connection and networking signals (30.1%). Conclusion Despite their high level of TM awareness, the rate of TM use by PHC providers is less than satisfactory. Establishing standardized TM training and supporting the network signals are recommended. A large-scale study on the impact of TM integration with PHC services is necessary.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Aim: To analyze and summarize the implementation of telemedical solutions in geriatrics and gerontology within the Polish healthcare sector, aiming to develop innovative strategies for improving elderly care through telemedical technologies. PATIENTS AND METHODS Materials and Methods: An interdisciplinary pilot project in geriatrics was implemented, focusing on health, organizational, and technological areas. The project involved continuous monitoring of health parameters, remote consultations, and the use of telemedical devices and platforms. Key data collection tools included digital clinimetric outcomes from the FRA-MNA-SARC model, with data transmitted to a telemedical platform. RESULTS Results: The pilot project demonstrated significant positive outcomes for senior participants. Continuous monitoring of health parameters allowed for early detection and timely intervention, leading to noticeable improvements in chronic disease management. This proactive approach reduced emergency hospital visits and enhanced overall health stability. The medication adherence support system, with automated reminders, ensured patients took their medications as prescribed, resulting in improved compliance and health outcomes. Telemedical solutions efficiently reduced the need for frequent in-person visits, allowing healthcare providers to monitor progress and adjust therapies in real-time. The project also effectively engaged patients and caregivers, increasing confidence in health management and providing valuable support and real-time information. CONCLUSION Conclusions: Implementing telemedical solutions in geriatrics within the Polish healthcare sector shows significant potential to improve elderly care. Telemedicine can effectively support chronic disease management, enhance seniors' quality of life through continuous health monitoring, and provide a practical framework for personalized and efficient healthcare delivery.
