Abstract
This Letter presents the first study of Higgs boson production in association with a vector boson (V=W or Z) in the fully hadronic qqbb final state using data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC in proton-proton collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb^{-1}. The vector bosons and Higgs bosons are each reconstructed as large-radius jets and tagged using jet substructure techniques. Dedicated tagging algorithms exploiting b-tagging properties are used to identify jets consistent with Higgs bosons decaying into bb[over ¯]. Dominant backgrounds from multijet production are determined directly from the data, and a likelihood fit to the jet mass distribution of Higgs boson candidates is used to extract the number of signal events. The VH production cross section is measured inclusively and differentially in several ranges of Higgs boson transverse momentum: 250-450, 450-650, and greater than 650 GeV. The inclusive signal yield relative to the standard model expectation is observed to be μ=1.4_{-0.9}^{+1.0} and the corresponding cross section is 3.1±1.3(stat)_{-1.4}^{+1.8}(syst) pb.

Abstract
ATLAS measured the centrality dependence of the dijet yield using 165 nb^{-1} of p+Pb data collected at sqrt[s_{NN}]=8.16 TeV in 2016. The event centrality, which reflects the p+Pb impact parameter, is characterized by the total transverse energy registered in the Pb-going side of the forward calorimeter. The central-to-peripheral ratio of the scaled dijet yields, R_{CP}, is evaluated, and the results are presented as a function of variables that reflect the kinematics of the initial hard parton scattering process. The R_{CP} shows a scaling with the Bjorken x of the parton originating from the proton, x_{p}, while no such trend is observed as a function of x_{Pb}. This analysis provides unique input to understanding the role of small proton spatial configurations in p+Pb collisions by covering parton momentum fractions from the valence region down to x_{p}∼10^{-3} and x_{Pb}∼4×10^{-4}.

Abstract
Searches for new resonances are performed using an unsupervised anomaly-detection technique. Events with at least one electron or muon are selected from 140 fb^{-1} of pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV recorded by ATLAS at the Large Hadron Collider. The approach involves training an autoencoder on data, and subsequently defining anomalous regions based on the reconstruction loss of the decoder. Studies focus on nine invariant mass spectra that contain pairs of objects consisting of one light jet or b jet and either one lepton (e,μ), photon, or second light jet or b jet in the anomalous regions. No significant deviations from the background hypotheses are observed. Limits on contributions from generic Gaussian signals with various widths of the resonance mass are obtained for nine invariant masses in the anomalous regions.

Abstract
Topological insulators (TIs) offer a novel platform for achieving exciting applications, such as low-power electronics, spintronics, and quantum computation. Hence, the spin-momentum locked and topologically nontrivial surface state of TIs is highly coveted by the research and development industry. Particle irradiation in TIs is a fast-growing field of research owing to the industrial scalability of the particle irradiation technique. Unfortunately, real three-dimensional TI materials, such as bismuth selenide, invariably host a significant population of charged native defects, which cause the ideally insulating bulk to behave like a metal, masking the relatively weak signatures of metallic topological surface states. Particle irradiation has emerged as an effective technique for Fermi energy tuning to achieve an insulating bulk in TI along with other popularly practiced methods, such as substitution doping and electrical gating. Irradiation methods have been used for many years to enhance the thermoelectric properties of bismuth chalcogenides, predominantly by increasing carrier density. In contrast, uncovering the surface states in bismuth-based TI requires the suppression of carrier density via particle irradiation. Hence, the literature on the effect of irradiation on bismuth chalcogenides extends widely to both ends of the spectrum (thermoelectric and topological properties). This review attempts to collate the available literature on particle irradiation-driven Fermi energy tuning and the modification of topological surface states in TI. Recent studies on particle irradiation in TI have focused on precise local modifications in the TI system to induce magnetic topological ordering and surface selective topological superconductivity. Promising proposals for TI-integrated circuits have also been put forth. The eclectic range of irradiation-based studies on TI has been reviewed in this manuscript.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WZγ production and a measurement of its cross section using 140.1±1.2 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The WZγ production cross section, with both the W and Z bosons decaying leptonically, pp→WZγ→ℓ^{'}^{±}νℓ^{+}ℓ^{-}γ (ℓ^{(^{'})}=e, μ), is measured in a fiducial phase-space region defined such that the leptons and the photon have high transverse momentum and the photon is isolated. The cross section is found to be 2.01±0.30(stat)±0.16(syst) fb. The corresponding standard model predicted cross section calculated at next-to-leading order in perturbative quantum chromodynamics and at leading order in the electroweak coupling constant is 1.50±0.06 fb. The observed significance of the WZγ signal is 6.3σ, compared with an expected significance of 5.0σ.

Abstract
A measurement of the mass of the Higgs boson combining the H→ZZ^{*}→4ℓ and H→γγ decay channels is presented. The result is based on 140 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector during LHC run 2 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV combined with the run 1 ATLAS mass measurement, performed at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, yielding a Higgs boson mass of 125.11±0.09(stat)±0.06(syst)=125.11±0.11 GeV. This corresponds to a 0.09% precision achieved on this fundamental parameter of the Standard Model of particle physics.

Abstract
A search for events with a dark photon produced in association with a dark Higgs boson via rare decays of the standard model Z boson is presented, using 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The dark boson decays into a pair of dark photons, and at least two of the three dark photons must each decay into a pair of electrons or muons, resulting in at least two same-flavor opposite-charge lepton pairs in the final state. The data are found to be consistent with the background prediction, and upper limits are set on the dark photon's coupling to the dark Higgs boson times the kinetic mixing between the standard model photon and the dark photon, α_{D}ϵ^{2}, in the dark photon mass range of [5, 40] GeV except for the ϒ mass window [8.8, 11.1] GeV. This search explores new parameter space not previously excluded by other experiments.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of single top quarks produced together with a photon, which directly probes the electroweak coupling of the top quark. The analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of 13 TeV proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Requiring a photon with transverse momentum larger than 20 GeV and within the detector acceptance, the fiducial cross section is measured to be 688±23(stat) _{-71}^{+75}(syst) fb, to be compared with the standard model prediction of 515_{-42}^{+36} fb at next-to-leading order in QCD.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The multiorgan impact of moderate to severe coronavirus infections in the post-acute phase is still poorly understood. We aimed to evaluate the excess burden of multiorgan abnormalities after hospitalisation with COVID-19, evaluate their determinants, and explore associations with patient-related outcome measures. METHODS In a prospective, UK-wide, multicentre MRI follow-up study (C-MORE), adults (aged ≥18 years) discharged from hospital following COVID-19 who were included in Tier 2 of the Post-hospitalisation COVID-19 study (PHOSP-COVID) and contemporary controls with no evidence of previous COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antibody negative) underwent multiorgan MRI (lungs, heart, brain, liver, and kidneys) with quantitative and qualitative assessment of images and clinical adjudication when relevant. Individuals with end-stage renal failure or contraindications to MRI were excluded. Participants also underwent detailed recording of symptoms, and physiological and biochemical tests. The primary outcome was the excess burden of multiorgan abnormalities (two or more organs) relative to controls, with further adjustments for potential confounders. The C-MORE study is ongoing and is registered with ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT04510025. FINDINGS Of 2710 participants in Tier 2 of PHOSP-COVID, 531 were recruited across 13 UK-wide C-MORE sites. After exclusions, 259 C-MORE patients (mean age 57 years [SD 12]; 158 [61%] male and 101 [39%] female) who were discharged from hospital with PCR-confirmed or clinically diagnosed COVID-19 between March 1, 2020, and Nov 1, 2021, and 52 non-COVID-19 controls from the community (mean age 49 years [SD 14]; 30 [58%] male and 22 [42%] female) were included in the analysis. Patients were assessed at a median of 5·0 months (IQR 4·2-6·3) after hospital discharge. Compared with non-COVID-19 controls, patients were older, living with more obesity, and had more comorbidities. Multiorgan abnormalities on MRI were more frequent in patients than in controls (157 [61%] of 259 vs 14 [27%] of 52; p<0·0001) and independently associated with COVID-19 status (odds ratio [OR] 2·9 [95% CI 1·5-5·8]; padjusted=0·0023) after adjusting for relevant confounders. Compared with controls, patients were more likely to have MRI evidence of lung abnormalities (p=0·0001; parenchymal abnormalities), brain abnormalities (p<0·0001; more white matter hyperintensities and regional brain volume reduction), and kidney abnormalities (p=0·014; lower medullary T1 and loss of corticomedullary differentiation), whereas cardiac and liver MRI abnormalities were similar between patients and controls. Patients with multiorgan abnormalities were older (difference in mean age 7 years [95% CI 4-10]; mean age of 59·8 years [SD 11·7] with multiorgan abnormalities vs mean age of 52·8 years [11·9] without multiorgan abnormalities; p<0·0001), more likely to have three or more comorbidities (OR 2·47 [1·32-4·82]; padjusted=0·0059), and more likely to have a more severe acute infection (acute CRP >5mg/L, OR 3·55 [1·23-11·88]; padjusted=0·025) than those without multiorgan abnormalities. Presence of lung MRI abnormalities was associated with a two-fold higher risk of chest tightness, and multiorgan MRI abnormalities were associated with severe and very severe persistent physical and mental health impairment (PHOSP-COVID symptom clusters) after hospitalisation. INTERPRETATION After hospitalisation for COVID-19, people are at risk of multiorgan abnormalities in the medium term. Our findings emphasise the need for proactive multidisciplinary care pathways, with the potential for imaging to guide surveillance frequency and therapeutic stratification. Abstract
This letter presents a measurement of the nuclear modification factor of large-radius jets in sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV Pb+Pb collisions by the ATLAS experiment. The measurement is performed using 1.72 nb^{-1} and 257 pb^{-1} of Pb+Pb and pp data, respectively. The large-radius jets are reconstructed with the anti-k_{t} algorithm using a radius parameter of R=1.0, by reclustering anti-k_{t} R=0.2 jets, and are measured over the transverse momentum (p_{T}) kinematic range of 158

Abstract
A key open question in the study of multiparticle production in high-energy pp collisions is the relationship between the "ridge"-i.e., the observed azimuthal correlations between particles in the underlying event that extend over all rapidities-and hard or semihard scattering processes. In particular, it is not known whether jets or their soft fragments are correlated with particles in the underlying event. To address this question, two-particle correlations are measured in pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV using data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, with an integrated luminosity of 15.8 pb^{-1}, in two different configurations. In the first case, charged particles associated with jets are excluded from the correlation analysis, while in the second case, correlations are measured between particles within jets and charged particles from the underlying event. Second-order flow coefficients, v_{2}, are presented as a function of event multiplicity and transverse momentum. These measurements show that excluding particles associated with jets does not affect the measured correlations. Moreover, particles associated with jets do not exhibit any significant azimuthal correlations with the underlying event, ruling out hard processes contributing to the ridge.

Abstract
A search is made for potential ccc[over ¯]c[over ¯] tetraquarks decaying into a pair of charmonium states in the four muon final state using proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^{-1} recorded by the ATLAS experiment at LHC. Two decay channels, J/ψ+J/ψ→4μ and J/ψ+ψ(2S)→4μ, are studied. Backgrounds are estimated based on a hybrid approach involving Monte Carlo simulations and data-driven methods. Statistically significant excesses with respect to backgrounds dominated by the single parton scattering are seen in the di-J/ψ channel consistent with a narrow resonance at 6.9 GeV and a broader structure at lower mass. A statistically significant excess is also seen in the J/ψ+ψ(2S) channel. The fitted masses and decay widths of the structures are reported.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of τ-lepton-pair production in ultraperipheral lead-lead collisions Pb+Pb→Pb(γγ→ττ)Pb and constraints on the τ-lepton anomalous magnetic moment a_{τ}. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 1.44 nb^{-1} of LHC Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment in 2018. Selected events contain one muon from a τ-lepton decay, an electron or charged-particle track(s) from the other τ-lepton decay, little additional central-detector activity, and no forward neutrons. The γγ→ττ process is observed in Pb+Pb collisions with a significance exceeding 5 standard deviations and a signal strength of μ_{ττ}=1.03_{-0.05}^{+0.06} assuming the standard model value for a_{τ}. To measure a_{τ}, a template fit to the muon transverse-momentum distribution from τ-lepton candidates is performed, using a dimuon (γγ→μμ) control sample to constrain systematic uncertainties. The observed 95% confidence-level interval for a_{τ} is -0.057

Abstract
PURPOSE The goal of this study is to examine changing patterns of ophthalmic visits in an emergency eye care unit of a tertiary referral center in Paris, France, during the Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic compared to a control period. MATERIALS AND METHODS This was a single-center, retrospective, observational, epidemiological study. We included all visits in the emergency eye care unit of the Quinze-Vingts National Ophthalmology Center, Paris, France, from March 17, 2020 to April 30, 2020, and a corresponding time period in 2016. We analyzed patients' demographic factors, chief complaints, referral patterns, examination findings, treatment provided, hospitalizations and surgical interventions. RESULTS During the 6weeks of lockdown, 3547 emergency visits were recorded. The control group contained 2108 patients from June 6-19, 2016. There was a decrease of approximately 50% in the number of average daily visitations. The frequency of serious diagnoses (including severe eye inflammation, serious infections, retinal vascular pathologies, surgical emergencies, and neuro-ophthalmology), increased overall during the period (P=0.03). The proportion of low severity pathologies decreased (P<0.001) between the two periods. In addition, an increased amount of ancillary testing was performed (P<0.001). Finally, the rate of hospitalizations was significantly lower during the lockdown period (P<0.001). CONCLUSION A significant reduction in total ophthalmic presentations in the emergency eye care unit was observed during the lockdown period. However, the proportion of emergencies requiring specialized treatments (surgical, infectious, inflammatory and neuro-ophthalmological pathologies) increased.

Abstract
Jet quenching is the process of color-charged partons losing energy via interactions with quark-gluon plasma droplets created in heavy-ion collisions. The collective expansion of such droplets is well described by viscous hydrodynamics. Similar evidence of collectivity is consistently observed in smaller collision systems, including pp and p+Pb collisions. In contrast, while jet quenching is observed in Pb+Pb collisions, no evidence has been found in these small systems to date, raising fundamental questions about the nature of the system created in these collisions. The ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider has measured the yield of charged hadrons correlated with reconstructed jets in 0.36 nb^{-1} of p+Pb and 3.6 pb^{-1} of pp collisions at 5.02 TeV. The yields of charged hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>0.5 GeV near and opposite in azimuth to jets with p_{T}^{jet}>30 or 60 GeV, and the ratios of these yields between p+Pb and pp collisions, I_{pPb}, are reported. The collision centrality of p+Pb events is categorized by the energy deposited by forward neutrons from the struck nucleus. The I_{pPb} values are consistent with unity within a few percent for hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>4 GeV at all centralities. These data provide new, strong constraints that preclude almost any parton energy loss in central p+Pb collisions.

Abstract
A search for a long-lived, heavy neutral lepton (N) in 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is reported. The N is produced via W→Nμ or W→Ne and decays into two charged leptons and a neutrino, forming a displaced vertex. The N mass is used to discriminate between signal and background. No signal is observed, and limits are set on the squared mixing parameters of the N with the left-handed neutrino states for the N mass range 3 GeV

Abstract
A test of CP invariance in Higgs boson production via vector-boson fusion has been performed in the H→γγ channel using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The optimal observable method is used to probe the CP structure of interactions between the Higgs boson and electroweak gauge bosons, as described by an effective field theory. No sign of CP violation is observed in the data. Constraints are set on the parameters describing the strength of the CP-odd component in the coupling between the Higgs boson and the electroweak gauge bosons in two effective field theory bases: d[over ˜] in the HISZ basis and c_{HW[over ˜]} in the Warsaw basis. The results presented are the most stringent constraints on CP violation in the coupling between Higgs and weak bosons. The 95% C.L. constraint on d[over ˜] is derived for the first time and the 95% C.L. constraint on c_{HW[over ˜]} has been improved by a factor of 5 compared to the previous measurement.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WWW production and a measurement of its cross section using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Events with two same-sign leptons (electrons or muons) and at least two jets, as well as events with three charged leptons, are selected. A multivariate technique is then used to discriminate between signal and background events. Events from WWW production are observed with a significance of 8.0 standard deviations, where the expectation is 5.4 standard deviations. The inclusive WWW production cross section is measured to be 820±100 (stat)±80 (syst) fb, approximately 2.6 standard deviations from the predicted cross section of 511±18 fb calculated at next-to-leading-order QCD and leading-order electroweak accuracy.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the physical and biological properties of different types of flowable resin composites and their bonding ability to dentin, comparing the performance of self-adhesive and bulk-fill materials with a conventional control. METHODS AND MATERIALS Four flowable resin composites were tested: two self-adhesive (Y-flow [SA_YF]; and Dyad Flow [SA_DF]); one bulk-fill (Filtek Bulk Fill Flow [BF]); and one conventional composite (Opallis Flow [OF]). The microshear bond strength (μSBS) to dentin (bovine samples) was investigated at 24 hours and 6 months of storage. The materials were also characterized by degree of conversion, cross-link density, water contact angle, color stability, and cell viability (ISO 10993-5/2009) analyses. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance and Tukey tests (α=0.05). RESULTS The μSBS values were higher for control specimens at 24 hours, whereas the resin-dentin bonds were similarly distributed among the groups after aging. Adhesive failure was the most frequent pattern observed at both time intervals. SA_YF was the only material that increased the bond strength over time. Degree of conversion increased in the following order: SA_YF (28.6±1.4%) < BF (49.7±0.8%) < OF (60.0±2.0%) = SA_DF (63.6±2.3%). Cross-link density was similar among all materials. The self-adhesive composites were more hydrophilic than the other types, with BF showing the lowest water contact angle and the greatest color alteration. All resin composites had a biocompatible behavior. CONCLUSION Chemical composition appeared to be an influential factor affecting the physicomechanical and biological behavior of the materials tested.

Abstract
BACKGROUND No effective pharmacological or non-pharmacological interventions exist for patients with long COVID. We aimed to describe recovery 1 year after hospital discharge for COVID-19, identify factors associated with patient-perceived recovery, and identify potential therapeutic targets by describing the underlying inflammatory profiles of the previously described recovery clusters at 5 months after hospital discharge. METHODS The Post-hospitalisation COVID-19 study (PHOSP-COVID) is a prospective, longitudinal cohort study recruiting adults (aged ≥18 years) discharged from hospital with COVID-19 across the UK. Recovery was assessed using patient-reported outcome measures, physical performance, and organ function at 5 months and 1 year after hospital discharge, and stratified by both patient-perceived recovery and recovery cluster. Hierarchical logistic regression modelling was performed for patient-perceived recovery at 1 year. Cluster analysis was done using the clustering large applications k-medoids approach using clinical outcomes at 5 months. Inflammatory protein profiling was analysed from plasma at the 5-month visit. This study is registered on the ISRCTN Registry, ISRCTN10980107, and recruitment is ongoing. FINDINGS 2320 participants discharged from hospital between March 7, 2020, and April 18, 2021, were assessed at 5 months after discharge and 807 (32·7%) participants completed both the 5-month and 1-year visits. 279 (35·6%) of these 807 patients were women and 505 (64·4%) were men, with a mean age of 58·7 (SD 12·5) years, and 224 (27·8%) had received invasive mechanical ventilation (WHO class 7-9). The proportion of patients reporting full recovery was unchanged between 5 months (501 [25·5%] of 1965) and 1 year (232 [28·9%] of 804). Factors associated with being less likely to report full recovery at 1 year were female sex (odds ratio 0·68 [95% CI 0·46-0·99]), obesity (0·50 [0·34-0·74]) and invasive mechanical ventilation (0·42 [0·23-0·76]). Cluster analysis (n=1636) corroborated the previously reported four clusters: very severe, severe, moderate with cognitive impairment, and mild, relating to the severity of physical health, mental health, and cognitive impairment at 5 months. We found increased inflammatory mediators of tissue damage and repair in both the very severe and the moderate with cognitive impairment clusters compared with the mild cluster, including IL-6 concentration, which was increased in both comparisons (n=626 participants). We found a substantial deficit in median EQ-5D-5L utility index from before COVID-19 (retrospective assessment; 0·88 [IQR 0·74-1·00]), at 5 months (0·74 [0·64-0·88]) to 1 year (0·75 [0·62-0·88]), with minimal improvements across all outcome measures at 1 year after discharge in the whole cohort and within each of the four clusters. INTERPRETATION The sequelae of a hospital admission with COVID-19 were substantial 1 year after discharge across a range of health domains, with the minority in our cohort feeling fully recovered. Patient-perceived health-related quality of life was reduced at 1 year compared with before hospital admission. Systematic inflammation and obesity are potential treatable traits that warrant further investigation in clinical trials. Abstract
DUNE is a dual-site experiment for long-baseline neutrino oscillation studies, neutrino astrophysics and nucleon decay searches. ProtoDUNE Dual Phase (DP) is a 6 × 6 × 6 m 3 liquid argon time-projection-chamber (LArTPC) that recorded cosmic-muon data at the CERN Neutrino Platform in 2019-2020 as a prototype of the DUNE Far Detector. Charged particles propagating through the LArTPC produce ionization and scintillation light. The scintillation light signal in these detectors can provide the trigger for non-beam events. In addition, it adds precise timing capabilities and improves the calorimetry measurements. In ProtoDUNE-DP, scintillation and electroluminescence light produced by cosmic muons in the LArTPC is collected by photomultiplier tubes placed up to 7 m away from the ionizing track. In this paper, the ProtoDUNE-DP photon detection system performance is evaluated with a particular focus on the different wavelength shifters, such as PEN and TPB, and the use of Xe-doped LAr, considering its future use in giant LArTPCs. The scintillation light production and propagation processes are analyzed and a comparison of simulation to data is performed, improving understanding of the liquid argon properties.

Purpose: This study evaluated the consistency between athletes’ self-reported cognitive symptoms and cognitive test performance. Methods: The sample included 784 Canadian Football League athletes who underwent standardized cognitive testing with cognitive testing (ImPACT) and the Brief Symptom Inventory (BSI-18) at baseline. Over 2 consecutive seasons, 46 players were diagnosed with concussions following assessment with team physicians within 48 hours; 10 were eliminated due to missing data. Five cognitive symptoms (feeling slowed down, feeling in a fog, not feeling right, difficulties concentration, difficulties with memory) were used to create a composite score (Cog). The Cog index, the depression, anxiety, total index scores from the BSI, and the 5 ImPACT cognitive domains were correlated at baseline and post-injury. History of learning disabilities, ADHD, psychiatric diagnosis, and history of concussion were co-variates. Results: There were no significant correlations between Cog, depression, anxiety or total BSI scores and the ImPACT cognitive domains at baseline. At post injury there were no significant correlations between Cog or ImPACT index scores. In contrast, significant negative correlations were found between BSI Anxiety and verbal memory (r = 0.67, p < 0.01), visual memory (r = 0.68, p < 0.01), and visual-motor processing speed (r = 0.48, p < 0.05). In addition, there were significant negative correlations between the BSI total score and visual memory (r = 0.51, p < 0.05) and reaction time (r = 0.55, p < 0.05). Conclusions: Self-reported cognitive difficulties do not correlate with poorer cognitive outcomes in our sample of professional football players. However, distress at post-injury was significantly correlated to performance, suggesting psychological variables may play a role in cognitive functioning.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine baseline and post-concussion injury characteristics of ocular eye movements using the Sync Think visual eye tracking apparatus in professional football players in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Methods: The visual tracking testing protocol uses an integrated stimulus presentation-eye tracking apparatus (EyeLink CL; SR Research, Ontario, Canada) with which eye movements were recorded at 500 Hz using infrared video-oculography. The standard deviation of radial errors (SDRE) and tangential errors (SDTE) were used to determine poor visual tracking. Participants were (n = 748) rostered players in the Canadian Football League. All participants completed assessments at baseline. Sixteen players completed post-concussion assessments and 98 players completed post-exertional assessments during the 2021 season to evaluate the impact of physical exertion on ocular movement metrics. Results: Participants with diagnosed concussions (n = 16+) demonstrated significantly poorer performance on measures of both gaze stability and smooth pursuit (p < 0.001). The poorer results were correlated with significantly higher subjective ratings of dizziness (p < 0.01) and fogginess (p < 0.001). In contrast, healthy participants who completed the same ocular motor assessments demonstrated no significant differences compared to baseline test performance. Conclusions: Findings suggest that subtle differences in oculomotor functioning arise from sport concussion in professional football players. Further research with larger sample sizes and correlation with other cognitive and physical outcomes is warranted.

Abstract
The standard model of particle physics1-4 describes the known fundamental particles and forces that make up our Universe, with the exception of gravity. One of the central features of the standard model is a field that permeates all of space and interacts with fundamental particles5-9. The quantum excitation of this field, known as the Higgs field, manifests itself as the Higgs boson, the only fundamental particle with no spin. In 2012, a particle with properties consistent with the Higgs boson of the standard model was observed by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN10,11. Since then, more than 30 times as many Higgs bosons have been recorded by the ATLAS experiment, enabling much more precise measurements and new tests of the theory. Here, on the basis of this larger dataset, we combine an unprecedented number of production and decay processes of the Higgs boson to scrutinize its interactions with elementary particles. Interactions with gluons, photons, and W and Z bosons-the carriers of the strong, electromagnetic and weak forces-are studied in detail. Interactions with three third-generation matter particles (bottom (b) and top (t) quarks, and tau leptons (τ)) are well measured and indications of interactions with a second-generation particle (muons, μ) are emerging. These tests reveal that the Higgs boson discovered ten years ago is remarkably consistent with the predictions of the theory and provide stringent constraints on many models of new phenomena beyond the standard model.

BackgroundThe detection of somatic mutations in genes of myeloid cells in asymptomatic patients - defining clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) - predisposes to cardiovascular events (CVE) in the general population.ObjectivesWe aimed to determine whether CHIP was associated with CVE in SLE patients.MethodsThe study is an ancillary study of the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter trial PLUS study conducted from June 2007 through August 2010 at 37 centers in France involving 573 SLE patients. The search for somatic mutations by high-throughput sequencing of 53 genes involved in clonal hematopoiesis was performed on genomic DNA collected at PLUS inclusion. The CHIP prevalence was assessed in SLE and in a retrospective cohort of 479 patients free of hematological malignancy. The primary outcome was the incident CVE in SLE.ResultsScreening for CHIP was performed in 438 SLE patients (38 [29-47] years, 91·8% female). Overall, 63 somatic mutations were identified in 47 patients defining a CHIP prevalence of 10·7% in SLE. Most SLE patients (78·7%) carried a single mutation. Most variants (62·5%) were located in the DNMT3A gene. CHIP was associated with age, age at SLE diagnosis and a lower frequency of antiphospholipid antibodies. CHIP occurred more than 20-years earlier (p<0·00001) in SLE than in controls. The detection of CHIP at inclusion was not associated with the occurrence of CVE during follow up (HR= 0·42 (0·06 – 3·21), p=0·406).ConclusionThe prevalence of CHIP is high in SLE with respect to age but was not associated with incident CVE.Disclosure of InterestsNone declared

BackgroundPrediction models based on traditional cardiovascular risk factors underestimate the risk of cardiovascular events (CVE) in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).ObjectivesWe aimed to determine whether sCD163, a biomarker for SLE-associated atherosclerosis, may predict CVE in SLE.MethodsAll SLE patients included between 2007 and 2010 in the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter PLUS trial were screened. Patients with no past history of CVE at inclusion and a follow-up period of >20 months were analyzed. sCD163 level was measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay on serum collected at PLUS inclusion. The primary outcome was the incident CVE. Factors associated with incident CVE and sCD163 level were analyzed.ResultsOverall, 442 SLE patients (of the 573 included in the PLUS study) were analyzed for the primary outcome with a median follow up of 110 (interquartile range: 99–120) months. Among them, 29 (6.6%) experienced at least one CVE that occurred at a median of 67 (interquartile range: 31–91) months after inclusion. In the multivariate analysis, dyslipidaemia, age and increased sCD163 were associated with CVE onset. Multivariate Cox models analysis showed that a concentration of sCD163> 263 ng/mL at inclusion increased by 2.7 [hazard ratio 2.7 (95% CI: 1.0, 7.0)] the risk of CVE in SLE. Abstract
Scientific tasks aimed at decoding and characterizing complex systems and processes at high pressures set new challenges for modern X-ray diffraction instrumentation in terms of X-ray flux, focal spot size and sample positioning. Presented here are new developments at the Extreme Conditions beamline (P02.2, PETRA III, DESY, Germany) that enable considerable improvements in data collection at very high pressures and small scattering volumes. In particular, the focusing of the X-ray beam to the sub-micrometer level is described, and control of the aberrations of the focusing compound refractive lenses is made possible with the implementation of a correcting phase plate. This device provides a significant enhancement of the signal-to-noise ratio by conditioning the beam shape profile at the focal spot. A new sample alignment system with a small sphere of confusion enables single-crystal data collection from grains of micrometer to sub-micrometer dimensions subjected to pressures as high as 200 GPa. The combination of the technical development of the optical path and the sample alignment system contributes to research and gives benefits on various levels, including rapid and accurate diffraction mapping of samples with sub-micrometer resolution at multimegabar pressures.

They are caused by monogenic (rarely digenic) mutations of proteins involved in this key pathway of innate immunity. IP1 transmission can be dominant, recessive or X-linked and penetrance differs from one IP1 to another. The clinical spectrum is broad and mainly includes central nervous system involvement with calcifications of the basal ganglia, skin disorders such as cutaneous vasculitis that can be mutilating. Joint disorders including non-destructive deforming arthropathy, pulmonary involvement such as intra-alveolar haemorrhage or interstitial lung disease, and haematological symptoms with cytopenia and/or immune deficiency are also seen. The clinical manifestations vary from one IP1 to another and their spectrum is constantly expanding along with the description of new IP1s and patients. The inflammatory syndrome is generally mild and autoimmune stigmata are frequently found. Almost all patients display overexpression of the type I IFN pathway detected, for instance, by the evaluation of IFN-stimulated genes expression, referred as "interferon signature". The related morbidity and mortality are high. However, the beneficial effect on certain symptoms of targeted therapies inhibiting type I IFN, such as JAK inhibitors, has led to a promising improvement in the management of these patients.

Introduction
The impact of acute infection by SARS-COV2 on the cardiovascular system has been previously reported in the literature, with a higher propensity in patients with more serious pattern of disease and pro-inflammatory status. Nevertheless, the long-term burden and sequels of COVID-19 on the cardiovascular system is still unknown.
Purpose
To evaluate the long-term impact of COVID-19 on left ventricular function in patients with severe clinical presentation requiring intensive care hospitalization.
Methods
This was a single-center observational, prospective study which included patients requiring admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to COVID-19 infection from January to November 2020. All discharged patients were contacted to perform a clinical, electrocardiographic and echocardiographic evaluation and those who accepted were included on the protocol. Baseline and clinical characteristics were collected from clinical reports. For the global longitudinal strain (GLS) analysis all patients with significant wall motion abnormalities and valvular cardiopathy were excluded. Statistical analysis was performed with Mann-Whitney and a safety cut-off was established with ROC curve analysis.
Results
A total of 43 patients were included (mean age 64 ± 12, 67.4% males). During SARS-COV2 infection 49% presented with severe ARDS and 51% with moderate, 35% required invasive mechanical ventilation, 14% noninvasive mechanical ventilation and 52% with high nasal flow cannula. On the follow-up analysis, fatigue was the most reported in symptom (52% patients) and the majority did not present other signs or symptoms suggestive of heart failure, with the mean NT-proBNP of 49 ± 389 pg/dL. The standard ECG and echocardiogram did not show significant changes with a mean LVEF of 58 ± 7.8 and mean TAPSE of 21 ± 4. The strain analysis showed low value of GLS (mean GLS of -17.14 ± 2.36) for a reference cut-off of -18%, suggesting subclinical left ventricular dysfunction in this subset of patients with preserved ejection fraction. Maximum CPR values during ICU did not correlate either with the extent of disease evolvement in CT (p= NS) or ARDS severity (p= NS). Nevertheless, maximum CPR correlated significantly with GLS reduction (R = 0.44, p = 0.019). A CPR value higher than iger30mg/dL had 100% specificity for GLS reduction and a cut-off of 14gm/dL reported a sensitivity of 65% and specificity pf 75% for reduction in GLS.
Conclusion
In our study, we reported subclinical impairment in left ventricular function detected with global longitudinal strain after serious infection with SARS-COV2. The detected myocardial dysfunction was related with higher inflammatory as expressed by CPR values. Long-term monitoring of these patients should be undertaken in order to timely detect late complications. Abstract Figure.

Introduction
Despite being known for more than a century, mitral valve prolapse (MVP) is an
entity not fully understood with controversial data regarding the prognosis.
Aim
To characterize a sample of patients with MVP and to access the frequency of
complications associated with MVP (arrhythmias, hospital admissions and death).
Methods
Single-center retrospective study of consecutive patients with MVP documented in
transthoracic echocardiogram between January 2014 and October 2019. MVP was defined as
systolic displacement of the mitral leaflet into the left atrium≥ 2 mm from the mitral annular
plane. Demographic, clinical, echo, EKG data were collected as well as major adverse events at follow-up. Categorical variables were reported in absolute number and/or % and continuous variables were reported as mean and SD or median and IQR. The results were obtained using Chi-square and ANOVA tests.
Results
247 patients were included (mean age 62.9 ± 18 years, 61% male). The mean
distance of the MVP was 6mm (IQR 5-9). The posterior mitral valve leaflet (PL) was the most
frequently involved (49%), followed by involvement of both leaflets (BL) (27%) and the anterior
leaflet (AL) (25%). Patients with MVP of PL were older compared to patients with BL and AL
involvement (68 ±15 vs 58 ± 17 vs 59 ± 22 years, respectively, p < 0.001) and had longer QT
interval (419 ± 35 vs 403 ± 25 vs 410 ± 34ms, respectively, p = 0.013). 70.4% (174) had
significant MR. Mitral annulus disjunction (MAD) was present in 9.3% (n = 23). The mean LVEF was 63% ± 6.3% and LV mass was 124,7 ± 41g/m2. Most of the patients were in sinus rhythm (SR) (78%). 13.3% had hospital admission for cardiovascular cause and 8.5% (n = 21) died.
During a mean follow-up of 30 ± 19 months, 25.1% of the patients had de novo atrial fibrillation (AF), 8 patients (3%) were submitted to supraventricular dysrhythmia ablation. 16.2% had premature ectopic ventricular complexes, 2.4% non-sustained VT, 0.4% sustained VT, 0.8% needed ICD, 8.5% had a pacemaker. 25% of the patients underwent mitral valve intervention (23.9% to surgical intervention and 3 to percutaneous). 12% of the patients had a hospital admission for CV cause and 8.5% of the patients died.
In multivariate analysis, hospitalization for CV cause (OR 7.27, p = 0.011, CI 95% 1.59- 33.3), higher NYHA class (III-IV) (p = 0.036 OR 5.7 CI95% 1.125-28.84) and the presence of LBBB (p = 0.021 OR = 6.78 CI95% 1.13-28.85) were independent predictors of mortality.
MAD was not associated with the outcomes. SR (OR 0.3, p = 0.014, CI95% 0.119-0.786) and prolapse (OR 0.37, p = 0.035, CI95%0.148-0.935) according to the ESC classification (comparing to flail and billowing) predicted survival.
Conclusion
MVP was traditionally described as a benign entity. However, in our population it was associated with significant mitral regurgitation, some requiring intervention. Besides that, 44% had arrhythmias, with AF occurring in about 25%, hospitalization in 13.3% and cardiovascular death in 8.5%.

Abstract
A search for lepton-flavor-violating Z→eτ and Z→μτ decays with pp collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented. This analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of Run 2 pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV and is combined with the results of a similar ATLAS search in the final state in which the τ lepton decays hadronically, using the same data set as well as Run 1 data. The addition of leptonically decaying τ leptons significantly improves the sensitivity reach for Z→ℓτ decays. The Z→ℓτ branching fractions are constrained in this analysis to B(Z→eτ)<7.0×10^{-6} and B(Z→μτ)<7.2×10^{-6} at 95% confidence level. The combination with the previously published analyses sets the strongest constraints to date: B(Z→eτ)<5.0×10^{-6} and B(Z→μτ)<6.5×10^{-6} at 95% confidence level.

Background
The dynamic changes and stability of blood biomarkers over time and after treatment are not well known. In this study, we describe changes in 12 centrally quantified known and novel cardiovascular biomarkers, prior to and 3 months after ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF).
Purpose
In patients enrolled in the AXAFA-AFNET5 trial, we 1) characterised changes in 12 biomarker levels pre and post-ablation, 2) ascertained if biomarker changes are consistent between males and females, and 3) identified biomarkers which predict recurrent AF post-ablation.
Methods and results
Of the 674 patients who were recruited and randomised, 633 received the study drug and underwent ablation. Peripheral blood samples were available for 488 patients at baseline and 434 at 3 months follow-up (median age [Q1, Q3] 64 [58, 70] years; 34% female). Between baseline (BL) and follow-up (FU), paired comparisons revealed that 3 biomarkers decreased, ANG2 (median [Q1, Q3] BL 2.185 [1.711, 3.115], FU 1.827 [1.457, 2.297] ng/mL, p<0.001), BMP10 (BL 2.056 [1.810, 2.380], FU 1.986 [1.757, 2.260] ng/mL, p<0.001), and NTproBNP (BL 2.219 [0.858, 5.731] per 100pg/mL, p<0.001), while 1 biomarker increased, FABP3 (BL 2.911 [2.425, 3.508], FU 2.911 [2.462, 3.521], p=0.005). The remaining 8 biomarkers remained unchanged.
Significant differences in ANG2, BMP10, NTproBNP and FABP3 were driven by patients who remained arrhythmia free at follow-up whereas biomarker levels remained unchanged in 121 patients who experienced recurrent AF (39%; Figure). Change scores were mainly consistent between males and females, however, CRP decreased significantly more in females. Recurrent AF episodes were not different between males and females (p=0.319).
Cox proportional hazards model assessed the relationship of individual biomarkers at baseline for predicting recurrent AF. Elevated ANG2 (hazard ratio, HR per ng/mL [95% confidence interval] 1.214 [1.113, 1.325]), BMP10 (HR per ng/mL 1.516 [1.039, 2.214]), and NTproBNP (HR per 100 pg/mL 1.050 [1.025, 1.076]) significantly predicted increased risk for recurrent AF, after adjustment for age, sex, body mass index, hypertension, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, stroke, heart failure, ablation type (PVI, PVI and other, other), ablation energy (radiofrequency, cryoablation, other), and treatment arm.
Conclusion
In this study, most cardiovascular biomarkers are unchanged after ablation for AF, however, ANG2, BMP10, and NTproBNP decreased at follow-up. These effects are driven by patients who remained arrhythmia free and could potentially reflect improvement in vascular (ANG2), endothelial (BMP10), and myocardial load (NTproBNP) parameters post-ablation. This outcome corresponds with the observation that elevated levels of these biomarkers at baseline predict recurrent AF at 3 months. Both males and females demonstrate similar changes in biomarker profiles and benefit equally from ablation for AF.

Introduction
Aortic atherosclerotic plaques (AAPs) are one of the major causes of spontaneous and iatrogenic stroke and peripheral emboli, carrying an high morbidity and mortality. Transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE) plays a key rule on detecting AAP. The therapeutic approach of this patients (pts) is not well stablished.
Purpose
To evaluate the impact of anticoagulation (ACO) therapy on major events in asymptomatic pts with AAP detected in TOE.
Methods
Single-center retrospective study of consecutive patients submitted to TOE between 2010 and 2019 with documentation of AAP. Plaques were described as complex (1) >4mm, (2) ulcerated and (3) mobile thrombi. The plaque location was also documented. We consulted pts data charts for clinical characterization and events recording during the follow up. Major events were defined as stroke, bleeding, hospital admissions (either cardiovascular (CV) and non-CV) and death. Statistical analysis was performed using Cox regression and Chi-square tests.
Results
We enrolled 177 pts with a mean age of 70±10.5 years, 63.8% males, 31.1% diabetic, 73.4% hypertensive, 54.2% with dyslipidaemia, 62.7% obese, 25.4% with peripheral arterial disease, 25.9% with previous stroke and 55.4% with supraventricular arrhythmia. Most of pts had plaques >4mm (80.8%), mobile thrombi in 11.9% and ulcerated plaques in 7.3%; most of the plaques were located in proximal descending aorta (50.3%) and aortic cross (38.4%). Regarding baseline therapy, 52% were under ACO and 50.3% under statin. The main indication of ACO was atrial fibrillation (45.8%).
During follow up (mean time: 1613±1255 days), 61.5% pts died (10.7% from CV causes, 13% with unknown cause), 17.5% had a stroke, 5.7% had other embolic event (lower limbs emboli, unilateral amaurosis and ischemic colitis). Bleeding occurred in 18.3% pts; 47% pts were hospitalized (28.3% from CV cause).
Adjusting for age and comorbidities, there were no significant differences between the group with and without ACO. ACO therapy prevented death from any cause, being also an independent predictor (p=0.08, OR 0.489, IC 95% 0.288–0.831) when adjusted for comorbidities and age. ACO was associated with bleeding events (p=0.003), but not with stroke or hospitalization from any cause (p=NS).
Conclusion
In this subset of pts, ACO therapy prevented death from any cause in pts with AAP. This may have therapeutic implications when approaching this pts, although larger studies to confirm these results are needed.

Abstract
A search for new phenomena is presented in final states with two leptons and one or no b-tagged jets. The event selection requires the two leptons to have opposite charge, the same flavor (electrons or muons), and a large invariant mass. The analysis is based on the full run-2 proton-proton collision dataset recorded at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb^{-1}. No significant deviation from the expected background is observed in the data. Inspired by the B-meson decay anomalies, a four-fermion contact interaction between two quarks (b, s) and two leptons (ee or μμ) is used as a benchmark signal model, which is characterized by the energy scale and coupling, Λ and g_{*}, respectively. Contact interactions with Λ/g_{*} lower than 2.0 (2.4) TeV are excluded for electrons (muons) at the 95% confidence level, still far below the value that is favored by the B-meson decay anomalies. Model-independent limits are set as a function of the minimum dilepton invariant mass, which allow the results to be reinterpreted in various signal scenarios.

A search for charged leptons with large impact parameters using 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data from the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented, addressing a long-standing gap in coverage of possible new physics signatures. Results are consistent with the background prediction. This search provides unique sensitivity to long-lived scalar supersymmetric lepton partners (sleptons). For lifetimes of 0.1 ns, selectron, smuon, and stau masses up to 720, 680, and 340 GeV, respectively, are excluded at 95% confidence level, drastically improving on the previous best limits from LEP.

Abstract
Susac syndrome is a rare disease affecting mainly young women, characterized by a microangiopathy limited to the cerebral, retinal, and cochlear vessels. Although the pathophysiology of Susac syndrome is not yet fully elucidated, recent advances favour a primitive vasculitis affecting the cerebral, retinal and cochlear small vessels. Susac syndrome must be recognized in the presence of the pathognomonic clinical triad associating: 1/subacute encephalopathy with unusual headache and pseudopsychiatric features associated with diffuse white matter, grey matter nuclei and specifically corpus callosum lesions on brain MRI; 2/eye involvement that may be pauci-symptomatic, with occlusions of the branches of the central artery of the retina at fundoscopy and arterial wall hyperfluorescence on fluorescein angiography; and 3/cochleo-vestibular damage with hearing loss predominating at low frequencies on the audiogram. Relapses are frequent during an active period lasting approximately 2 years. Eventually, the disease resolves but isolated retinal arterial wall hyperfluorescence without new occlusions may recur, which should not lead to treatment intensification. First-line treatment consists of a combination of anti-aggregants and high dose corticosteroids. In refractory patients or in case of relapse, immunomodulatory molecules such as intravenous immunoglobulins or immunosuppressive drugs such as mycophenolate mofetil, cyclophosphamide or rituximab should be started. Unfortunately, sequelae-mostly hearing loss- remain frequent in these young patients.

Introduction
There is some evidence suggesting that exaggerated hypertensive response to exercise (HRE) may be associated with higher risk of future cardiovascular events, however the relationship between systolic blood pressure (SPB) during exercise test and stroke is not fully understood.
Purpose
To evaluate the ability to predict the risk of stroke in patients with HRE in exercise test.
Methods
Single-center retrospective study of consecutive patients submitted to exercise test from 2012 to 2015 with HRE to stress test. HRE was defined as a peak systolic blood pressure (PSBP) > 210 mmHg in men and > 190 mmHg in women, or a rise of the SBP of 60 mmHg in men or 50 mmHg in women or as a diastolic blood pressure > 90 mmHg or a rise of 10 mmHg. Patient’s demographics, baseline clinical characteristics, vital signs during the stress test and the occurrence of stroke during follow-up were analysed
Results
We included 458 patients with HRE (76% men, 57.5 ± 10.83 years). The most frequent comorbidities were hypertension (83%), dyslipidaemia (61%), previously known coronary disease (32%), diabetes (28%) and smoking (38%). Atrial fibrillation was present in 5.9% of patients.
During a mean follow-up of 60 ± 2 months, the incidence of stroke was 2.1% (n = 8), all with ischemic origin. Considering the parameters analysed on exercise test, only PSBP demonstrated to be an independent predictor of stroke (HR 1.042, CI95% 1.002-1.084, p = 0.039,) with moderate ability to predict stroke (AUC 0.735, p = 0.0016) with a most discriminatory value of 203 mmHg (sensibility 56%, specify 67%). Regarding baseline characteristics, after age, sex and comorbidities adjustment, previously controlled hypertension was found to be an independent protective factor of stroke (OR 4.247, CI 95% 0.05-0.9, p = 0.036) and atrial fibrillation was an independent predictor of stroke occurrence (HR 8.1, CI95% 1.4-46.9, p = 0.018). Atrial fibrillation was also associated with hospitalization of cardiovascular cause and major cardiovascular events occurrence (mortality, coronary syndrome and stroke). Baseline SBP was associated with atrial fibrillation development (p = 0.008).
Conclusion
According to our results, PSBP during exercise test is an independent predictor of stroke occurrence and should be considered as a potencial additional tool to predict stroke occurrence, particularly in high risk patients. The identification of diagnosed hypertension as a protective factor of stroke may be explained by the cardioprotective effect of antihypertensive drugs.

In our center, we define HRE as systolic blood pressure (SBP) > 210mmHg in men and >190mmHg in women, diastolic blood pressure (DBP) > 90mmHg or an increase in baseline systolic BP at least 60 mmHg in men or 50 mmHg in women, during exercise. Demographic, clinical, echocardiographic, electrocardiographic data were collected, and results were obtained using Chi-square and Student-t tests; logistic regression.
Results
We evaluated 500 patients who underwent STE, 457 of which had hypertensive response vs 43 patients without HRE (mean age 57 ± 11 vs 61 ± 8 years, p = 0,01). Among the two groups there were no differences between gender (76.5% men vs 69.7%) and race nor between the cardiovascular risk factors, namely hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidaemia. We evaluated their responses in STE and their outcomes, with a mean follow-up of 60 ± 22 months.
In the univariate and multivariate analysis, presence of Sokolow-Lion criteria of left ventricular hypertrophy in the ECG was associated with HRE during the exam (OR 5.26; CI95% 2.4-11.6; p < 0.001). In patients who had previously known hypertension, therapy with calcium channel blockers seemed to protect against hypertensive response prior to ET (OR 0.48, CI95% 0.24-0.97, p = 0.004) compared to other antihypertensive drugs.
Regarding the clinical outcomes, patients with HRE were associated with an increased risk of developing heart failure (p = 0.027) (versus patients without HRE) during follow up but failed to predict adverse outcomes such as acute coronary syndrome, atrial
fibrillation or stroke.
Within the patients with HRE in ET, 78 patients did not have an established diagnosis of HTA (mean age 49 ± 12.16 years, 75.6% men). In these patients we observed initiation on antihypertensive therapy after ET on 27.6% patients, but on univariate and multivariate analysis, starting therapy with anti-hypertensives did not have a significant impact on incidence of stroke, AF, HF, hospitalization for cardiovascular events or death.
Conclusions
We did not observe any significant differences among the studied groups regarding prognosis, except for the highest incidence of heart failure in patients with HRE. Initiation of antihypertensive therapy in patients with HRE failed to modify outcomes,
however our sample was underpowered, so, further studies are required in order to clarify the value of treatment in patients with HRE.

Abstract
Intracorneal ring segments (ICRS), used in the management of keratoconus since the 2000s, have enjoyed significant technological development. Various types of ICRS exist, whose arc length, thickness, and diameter can be chosen according to the desired effect on the spherical equivalent, keratometry and asphericity. Individualized implantation strategies, based on each patient's topographic and tomographic pattern, are constantly evolving. The surgical procedure is standardized, and complications remain very rare. Combined procedures (corneal collagen cross-linking and refractive photokeratectomy±topo-guided, phakic and pseudophakic intraocular lenses) are increasingly used and require a good knowledge of the effect of ICRS alone on the keratoconic cornea. The objective of this review is to summarize clinical practices used in the visual rehabilitation of keratoconic patients using the ICRS+- combined procedures.

Abstract
The Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) will be a powerful tool for a variety of physics topics. The high-intensity proton beams provide a large neutrino flux, sampled by a near detector system consisting of a combination of capable precision detectors, and by the massive far detector system located deep underground. This configuration sets up DUNE as a machine for discovery, as it enables opportunities not only to perform precision neutrino measurements that may uncover deviations from the present three-flavor mixing paradigm, but also to discover new particles and unveil new interactions and symmetries beyond those predicted in the Standard Model (SM). Of the many potential beyond the Standard Model (BSM) topics DUNE will probe, this paper presents a selection of studies quantifying DUNE's sensitivities to sterile neutrino mixing, heavy neutral leptons, non-standard interactions, CPT symmetry violation, Lorentz invariance violation, neutrino trident production, dark matter from both beam induced and cosmogenic sources, baryon number violation, and other new physics topics that complement those at high-energy colliders and significantly extend the present reach.

Abstract
The first measurement of longitudinal decorrelations of harmonic flow amplitudes v_{n} for n=2-4 in Xe+Xe collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.44 TeV is obtained using 3 μb^{-1} of data with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The decorrelation signal for v_{3} and v_{4} is found to be nearly independent of collision centrality and transverse momentum (p_{T}) requirements on final-state particles, but for v_{2} a strong centrality and p_{T} dependence is seen. When compared with the results from Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV, the longitudinal decorrelation signal in midcentral Xe+Xe collisions is found to be larger for v_{2}, but smaller for v_{3}. Current hydrodynamic models reproduce the ratios of the v_{n} measured in Xe+Xe collisions to those in Pb+Pb collisions but fail to describe the magnitudes and trends of the ratios of longitudinal flow decorrelations between Xe+Xe and Pb+Pb. The results on the system-size dependence provide new insights and an important lever arm to separate effects of the longitudinal structure of the initial state from other early and late time effects in heavy-ion collisions.

Abstract
Several extensions of the Standard Model predict the production of dark matter particles at the LHC. An uncharted signature of dark matter particles produced in association with VV=W^{±}W^{∓} or ZZ pairs from a decay of a dark Higgs boson s is searched for using 139 fb^{-1} of pp collisions recorded by the ATLAS detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The s→V(qq[over ¯])V(qq[over ¯]) decays are reconstructed with a novel technique aimed at resolving the dense topology from boosted VV pairs using jets in the calorimeter and tracking information. Dark Higgs scenarios with m_{s}>160 GeV are excluded.

Abstract
The yield of charged particles opposite to a Z boson with large transverse momentum (p_{T}) is measured in 260 pb^{-1} of pp and 1.7 nb^{-1} of Pb+Pb collision data at 5.02 TeV per nucleon pair recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The Z boson tag is used to select hard-scattered partons with specific kinematics, and to observe how their showers are modified as they propagate through the quark-gluon plasma created in Pb+Pb collisions. Compared with pp collisions, charged-particle yields in Pb+Pb collisions show significant modifications as a function of charged-particle p_{T} in a way that depends on event centrality and Z boson p_{T}. The data are compared with a variety of theoretical calculations and provide new information about the medium-induced energy loss of partons in a p_{T} regime difficult to measure through other channels.
