Abstract
This Letter presents the first study of Higgs boson production in association with a vector boson (V=W or Z) in the fully hadronic qqbb final state using data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC in proton-proton collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb^{-1}. The vector bosons and Higgs bosons are each reconstructed as large-radius jets and tagged using jet substructure techniques. Dedicated tagging algorithms exploiting b-tagging properties are used to identify jets consistent with Higgs bosons decaying into bb[over ¯]. Dominant backgrounds from multijet production are determined directly from the data, and a likelihood fit to the jet mass distribution of Higgs boson candidates is used to extract the number of signal events. The VH production cross section is measured inclusively and differentially in several ranges of Higgs boson transverse momentum: 250-450, 450-650, and greater than 650 GeV. The inclusive signal yield relative to the standard model expectation is observed to be μ=1.4_{-0.9}^{+1.0} and the corresponding cross section is 3.1±1.3(stat)_{-1.4}^{+1.8}(syst) pb.

Abstract
LiCu_{3}O_{3} is an antiferromagnetic mixed valence cuprate where trilayers of edge-sharing Cu(II)O (3d^{9}) are sandwiched in between planes of Cu(I) (3d^{10}) ions, with Li stochastically substituting Cu(II). Angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) and density functional theory reveal two insulating electronic subsystems that are segregated in spite of sharing common oxygen atoms: a Cu d_{z^{2}}/O p_{z} derived valence band (VB) dispersing on the Cu(I) plane, and a Cu 3d_{x^{2}-y^{2}}/O 2p_{x,y} derived Zhang-Rice singlet (ZRS) band dispersing on the Cu(II)O planes. First-principle analysis shows the Li substitution to stabilize the insulating ground state, but only if antiferromagnetic correlations are present. Li further induces substitutional disorder and a 2D electron glass behavior in charge transport, reflected in a large 530 meV Coulomb gap and a linear suppression of VB spectral weight at E_{F} that is observed by ARPES. Surprisingly, the disorder leaves the Cu(II)-derived ZRS largely unaffected. This indicates a local segregation of Li and Cu atoms onto the two separate corner-sharing Cu(II)O_{2} sub-lattices of the edge-sharing Cu(II)O planes, and highlights the ubiquitous resilience of the entangled two hole ZRS entity against impurity scattering.

Abstract
ATLAS measured the centrality dependence of the dijet yield using 165 nb^{-1} of p+Pb data collected at sqrt[s_{NN}]=8.16 TeV in 2016. The event centrality, which reflects the p+Pb impact parameter, is characterized by the total transverse energy registered in the Pb-going side of the forward calorimeter. The central-to-peripheral ratio of the scaled dijet yields, R_{CP}, is evaluated, and the results are presented as a function of variables that reflect the kinematics of the initial hard parton scattering process. The R_{CP} shows a scaling with the Bjorken x of the parton originating from the proton, x_{p}, while no such trend is observed as a function of x_{Pb}. This analysis provides unique input to understanding the role of small proton spatial configurations in p+Pb collisions by covering parton momentum fractions from the valence region down to x_{p}∼10^{-3} and x_{Pb}∼4×10^{-4}.

Abstract
Searches for new resonances are performed using an unsupervised anomaly-detection technique. Events with at least one electron or muon are selected from 140 fb^{-1} of pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV recorded by ATLAS at the Large Hadron Collider. The approach involves training an autoencoder on data, and subsequently defining anomalous regions based on the reconstruction loss of the decoder. Studies focus on nine invariant mass spectra that contain pairs of objects consisting of one light jet or b jet and either one lepton (e,μ), photon, or second light jet or b jet in the anomalous regions. No significant deviations from the background hypotheses are observed. Limits on contributions from generic Gaussian signals with various widths of the resonance mass are obtained for nine invariant masses in the anomalous regions.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WZγ production and a measurement of its cross section using 140.1±1.2 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The WZγ production cross section, with both the W and Z bosons decaying leptonically, pp→WZγ→ℓ^{'}^{±}νℓ^{+}ℓ^{-}γ (ℓ^{(^{'})}=e, μ), is measured in a fiducial phase-space region defined such that the leptons and the photon have high transverse momentum and the photon is isolated. The cross section is found to be 2.01±0.30(stat)±0.16(syst) fb. The corresponding standard model predicted cross section calculated at next-to-leading order in perturbative quantum chromodynamics and at leading order in the electroweak coupling constant is 1.50±0.06 fb. The observed significance of the WZγ signal is 6.3σ, compared with an expected significance of 5.0σ.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Current guidelines emphasize the diagnostic value of non-cardiac or possibly cardiac chest pain. The goal of this analysis was to determine whether German chest pain units (CPUs) adequately address conditions with "atypical" chest pain in existing diagnostic structures. METHOD A total of 11,734 patients from the German CPU registry were included. The analyses included mode of admission, critical time intervals, diagnostic steps, and differential diagnoses. RESULTS Patients with unspecified chest pain were younger, more often female, were less likely to have classic cardiovascular risk factors and tended to present more often as self-referrals. Patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) mostly had prehospital medical contact. Overall, there was no difference between these two groups regarding the time from the onset of first symptoms to arrival at the CPU. In the CPU, the usual basic diagnostic measures were performed irrespective of ACS as the primary working diagnosis. In the non-ACS group, further ischemia-specific diagnostics were rarely performed. Extra-cardiac differential diagnoses were not specified. CONCLUSION The establishment of broader awareness programs and opening CPUs for low-threshold evaluation of self-referring patients should be discussed. Regarding the rigid focus on the clarification of cardiac causes of chest pain, a stronger interdisciplinary approach should be promoted.

Abstract
A measurement of the mass of the Higgs boson combining the H→ZZ^{*}→4ℓ and H→γγ decay channels is presented. The result is based on 140 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector during LHC run 2 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV combined with the run 1 ATLAS mass measurement, performed at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, yielding a Higgs boson mass of 125.11±0.09(stat)±0.06(syst)=125.11±0.11 GeV. This corresponds to a 0.09% precision achieved on this fundamental parameter of the Standard Model of particle physics.

Abstract
A search for events with a dark photon produced in association with a dark Higgs boson via rare decays of the standard model Z boson is presented, using 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The dark boson decays into a pair of dark photons, and at least two of the three dark photons must each decay into a pair of electrons or muons, resulting in at least two same-flavor opposite-charge lepton pairs in the final state. The data are found to be consistent with the background prediction, and upper limits are set on the dark photon's coupling to the dark Higgs boson times the kinetic mixing between the standard model photon and the dark photon, α_{D}ϵ^{2}, in the dark photon mass range of [5, 40] GeV except for the ϒ mass window [8.8, 11.1] GeV. This search explores new parameter space not previously excluded by other experiments.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Pro-inflammatory polarization of adipose tissue macrophages (ATMs) plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of obesity-associated chronic inflammation. However, little is known about the role of lipids in the regulation of ATMs polarity and inflammation in response to metabolic stress. Deletion of α/β-hydrolase domain-containing 6 (ABHD6), a monoacylglycerol (MAG) hydrolase, has been shown to protect against diet-induced obesity and insulin resistance. METHODS Here we investigated the immunometabolic role of macrophage ABHD6 in response to nutrient excess using whole-body ABHD6-KO mice and human and murine macrophage cell-lines treated with KT203, a selective and potent pharmacological ABHD6 inhibitor. RESULTS KO mice on high-fat diet showed lower susceptibility to systemic diet-induced inflammation. Moreover, in the setting of overnutrition, stromal vascular cells from gonadal fat of KO vs. control mice contained lower number of M1 macrophages and exhibited enhanced levels of metabolically activated macrophages (MMe) and M2 markers, oxygen consumption, and interleukin-6 (IL-6) release. Likewise, under in vitro nutri-stress condition, inhibition of ABHD6 in MMe-polarized macrophages attenuated the expression and release of pro-inflammatory cytokines and M1 markers and induced the upregulation of lipid metabolism genes. ABHD6-inhibited MMe macrophages showed elevated levels of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) and 2-MAG species. Notably, among different MAG species, only 2-MAG treatment led to increased levels of PPAR target genes in MMe macrophages. CONCLUSIONS Collectively, our findings identify ABHD6 as a key component of pro-inflammatory macrophage activation in response to excess nutrition and implicate an endogenous macrophage lipolysis/ABHD6/2-MAG/PPARs cascade, as a lipid signaling and immunometabolic pathway, which favors the anti-inflammatory polarization of ATMs in obesity.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of single top quarks produced together with a photon, which directly probes the electroweak coupling of the top quark. The analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of 13 TeV proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Requiring a photon with transverse momentum larger than 20 GeV and within the detector acceptance, the fiducial cross section is measured to be 688±23(stat) _{-71}^{+75}(syst) fb, to be compared with the standard model prediction of 515_{-42}^{+36} fb at next-to-leading order in QCD.

Abstract
We present the first comprehensive tests of the universality of the light leptons in the angular distributions of semileptonic B^{0}-meson decays to charged spin-1 charmed mesons. We measure five angular-asymmetry observables as functions of the decay recoil that are sensitive to lepton-universality-violating contributions. We use events where one neutral B is fully reconstructed in ϒ(4S)→BB[over ¯] decays in data corresponding to 189 fb^{-1} integrated luminosity from electron-positron collisions collected with the Belle II detector. We find no significant deviation from the standard model expectations.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) substantially improve outcome for patients with cancer. However, the majority of patients develops immune-related adverse events (irAEs), which can be persistent and significantly reduce quality of life. Neurological irAEs occur in 1-5% of patients and can induce severe, permanent sequelae or even be fatal. In order to improve the diagnosis and treatment of neurological irAEs and to better understand their pathogenesis, we assessed whether previous neurotropic infections are associated with neurological irAEs. METHODS Neurotropic infections that might predispose to ICI-induced neurological irAEs were analyzed in 61 melanoma patients from 3 countries, the Netherlands, Australia and Germany, including 24 patients with neurotoxicity and 37 control patients. In total, 14 viral, 6 bacterial, and 1 protozoal infections previously reported to trigger neurological pathologies were assessed using routine serology testing. The Dutch and Australian cohorts (NL) included pre-treatment plasma samples of patients treated with neoadjuvant ICI therapy (OpACIN-neo and PRADO trials; NCT02977052). In the Dutch/Australian cohort a total of 11 patients with neurological irAEs were compared to 27 control patients (patients without neurological irAEs). The German cohort (LMU) consisted of serum samples of 13 patients with neurological irAE and 10 control patients without any documented irAE under ICI therapy. RESULTS The association of neurological irAEs with 21 possible preceding infections was assessed by measuring specific antibodies against investigated agents. The seroprevalence of all the tested viral (cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr-Virus, varicella-zoster virus, measles, rubella, influenza A and B, human herpes virus 6 and 7, herpes simplex virus 1 and 2, parvovirus B19, hepatitis A and E and human T-lymphotropic virus type 1 and 2), bacterial (Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato, Campylobacter jejuni, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Coxiella burnetti, Helicobacter pylori, Yersinia enterocolitica and Y. pseudotuberculosis) and protozoal (Toxoplasma gondii) infections was similar for patients who developed neurological irAEs as compared to control patients. Thus, the analysis provided no evidence for an association of described agents tested for seroprevalence with ICI induced neurotoxicity. CONCLUSION Previous viral, bacterial and protozoal neurotropic infections appear not to be associated with the development of neurological irAEs in melanoma patients who underwent therapy with ICI across 3 countries. Further efforts are needed to unravel the factors underlying neurological irAEs in order to identify risk factors for these toxicities, especially with the increasing use of ICI in earlier stage disease.

This letter presents a measurement of the nuclear modification factor of large-radius jets in sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV Pb+Pb collisions by the ATLAS experiment. The measurement is performed using 1.72 nb^{-1} and 257 pb^{-1} of Pb+Pb and pp data, respectively. The large-radius jets are reconstructed with the anti-k_{t} algorithm using a radius parameter of R=1.0, by reclustering anti-k_{t} R=0.2 jets, and are measured over the transverse momentum (p_{T}) kinematic range of 158

Abstract
We measure the lifetime of the D_{s}^{+} meson using a data sample of 207 fb^{-1} collected by the Belle II experiment running at the SuperKEKB asymmetric-energy e^{+}e^{-} collider. The lifetime is determined by fitting the decay-time distribution of a sample of 116×10^{3} D_{s}^{+}→ϕπ^{+} decays. Our result is τ_{D_{s}^{+}}=(499.5±1.7±0.9) fs, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. This result is significantly more precise than previous measurements.

Abstract
A key open question in the study of multiparticle production in high-energy pp collisions is the relationship between the "ridge"-i.e., the observed azimuthal correlations between particles in the underlying event that extend over all rapidities-and hard or semihard scattering processes. In particular, it is not known whether jets or their soft fragments are correlated with particles in the underlying event. To address this question, two-particle correlations are measured in pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV using data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, with an integrated luminosity of 15.8 pb^{-1}, in two different configurations. In the first case, charged particles associated with jets are excluded from the correlation analysis, while in the second case, correlations are measured between particles within jets and charged particles from the underlying event. Second-order flow coefficients, v_{2}, are presented as a function of event multiplicity and transverse momentum. These measurements show that excluding particles associated with jets does not affect the measured correlations. Moreover, particles associated with jets do not exhibit any significant azimuthal correlations with the underlying event, ruling out hard processes contributing to the ridge.

Abstract
A search is made for potential ccc[over ¯]c[over ¯] tetraquarks decaying into a pair of charmonium states in the four muon final state using proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^{-1} recorded by the ATLAS experiment at LHC. Two decay channels, J/ψ+J/ψ→4μ and J/ψ+ψ(2S)→4μ, are studied. Backgrounds are estimated based on a hybrid approach involving Monte Carlo simulations and data-driven methods. Statistically significant excesses with respect to backgrounds dominated by the single parton scattering are seen in the di-J/ψ channel consistent with a narrow resonance at 6.9 GeV and a broader structure at lower mass. A statistically significant excess is also seen in the J/ψ+ψ(2S) channel. The fitted masses and decay widths of the structures are reported.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of τ-lepton-pair production in ultraperipheral lead-lead collisions Pb+Pb→Pb(γγ→ττ)Pb and constraints on the τ-lepton anomalous magnetic moment a_{τ}. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 1.44 nb^{-1} of LHC Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment in 2018. Selected events contain one muon from a τ-lepton decay, an electron or charged-particle track(s) from the other τ-lepton decay, little additional central-detector activity, and no forward neutrons. The γγ→ττ process is observed in Pb+Pb collisions with a significance exceeding 5 standard deviations and a signal strength of μ_{ττ}=1.03_{-0.05}^{+0.06} assuming the standard model value for a_{τ}. To measure a_{τ}, a template fit to the muon transverse-momentum distribution from τ-lepton candidates is performed, using a dimuon (γγ→μμ) control sample to constrain systematic uncertainties. The observed 95% confidence-level interval for a_{τ} is -0.057

Abstract
We report a measurement of the CP-violating parameters C and S in B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}π^{0} decays at Belle II using a sample of 387×10^{6} BB[over ¯] events recorded in e^{+}e^{-} collisions at a center-of-mass energy corresponding to the ϒ(4S) resonance. These parameters are determined by fitting the proper decay-time distribution of a sample of 415 signal events. We obtain C=-0.04_{-0.15}^{+0.14}±0.05 and S=0.75_{-0.23}^{+0.20}±0.04, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.

Abstract
The word "licorice" refers to the plant, its root, and its aromatic extract. From a commercial point of view, Glycyrrhiza glabra is the most important species with a wide range of uses (herbal medicine, tobacco industry, cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical). Glycyrrhizin is one of the main constituents of licorice. Glycyrrhizin is hydrolyzed in the intestinal lumen by bacterial β-glucuronidases to 3β-monoglucuronyl-18β-glycyrrhetinic acid (3MGA) and 18β-glycyrrhetinic acid (GA), which are metabolized in the liver. Plasma clearance is slow due to enterohepatic cycling. 3MGA and GA can bind to mineralocorticoid receptors with very low affinity, and 3MGA induces apparent mineralocorticoid excess syndrome through dose-dependent inhibition of 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 2 in renal tissue. The cases of apparent mineralocorticoid excess syndrome reported in the literature are numerous and sometimes severe, even fatal, most often in cases of chronic high dose consumption. Glycyrrhizin poisonings are characterized by hypertension, fluid retention, and hypokalemia with metabolic alkalosis and increased kaliuresis. Toxicity depends on the dose, the type of product consumed, the mode of consumption (acute or chronic) and a very large inter-individual variability. The diagnosis of glycyrrhizin-induced apparent mineralocorticoid excess syndrome is based on the history, clinical examination, and biochemical analysis. Management is primarily based on symptomatic care and stopping licorice consumption.

Abstract
Jet quenching is the process of color-charged partons losing energy via interactions with quark-gluon plasma droplets created in heavy-ion collisions. The collective expansion of such droplets is well described by viscous hydrodynamics. Similar evidence of collectivity is consistently observed in smaller collision systems, including pp and p+Pb collisions. In contrast, while jet quenching is observed in Pb+Pb collisions, no evidence has been found in these small systems to date, raising fundamental questions about the nature of the system created in these collisions. The ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider has measured the yield of charged hadrons correlated with reconstructed jets in 0.36 nb^{-1} of p+Pb and 3.6 pb^{-1} of pp collisions at 5.02 TeV. The yields of charged hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>0.5 GeV near and opposite in azimuth to jets with p_{T}^{jet}>30 or 60 GeV, and the ratios of these yields between p+Pb and pp collisions, I_{pPb}, are reported. The collision centrality of p+Pb events is categorized by the energy deposited by forward neutrons from the struck nucleus. The I_{pPb} values are consistent with unity within a few percent for hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>4 GeV at all centralities. These data provide new, strong constraints that preclude almost any parton energy loss in central p+Pb collisions.

Abstract
A search for a long-lived, heavy neutral lepton (N) in 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is reported. The N is produced via W→Nμ or W→Ne and decays into two charged leptons and a neutrino, forming a displaced vertex. The N mass is used to discriminate between signal and background. No signal is observed, and limits are set on the squared mixing parameters of the N with the left-handed neutrino states for the N mass range 3 GeV

Abstract
A test of CP invariance in Higgs boson production via vector-boson fusion has been performed in the H→γγ channel using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The optimal observable method is used to probe the CP structure of interactions between the Higgs boson and electroweak gauge bosons, as described by an effective field theory. No sign of CP violation is observed in the data. Constraints are set on the parameters describing the strength of the CP-odd component in the coupling between the Higgs boson and the electroweak gauge bosons in two effective field theory bases: d[over ˜] in the HISZ basis and c_{HW[over ˜]} in the Warsaw basis. The results presented are the most stringent constraints on CP violation in the coupling between Higgs and weak bosons. The 95% C.L. constraint on d[over ˜] is derived for the first time and the 95% C.L. constraint on c_{HW[over ˜]} has been improved by a factor of 5 compared to the previous measurement.

Abstract
Antiferromagnetic materials have been proposed as new types of narrowband THz spintronic devices owing to their ultrafast spin dynamics. Manipulating coherently their spin dynamics, however, remains a key challenge that is envisioned to be accomplished by spin-orbit torques or direct optical excitations. Here, we demonstrate the combined generation of broadband THz (incoherent) magnons and narrowband (coherent) magnons at 1 THz in low damping thin films of NiO/Pt. We evidence, experimentally and through modeling, two excitation processes of spin dynamics in NiO: an off-resonant instantaneous optical spin torque in (111) oriented films and a strain-wave-induced THz torque induced by ultrafast Pt excitation in (001) oriented films. Both phenomena lead to the emission of a THz signal through the inverse spin Hall effect in the adjacent heavy metal layer. We unravel the characteristic timescales of the two excitation processes found to be < 50 fs and > 300 fs, respectively, and thus open new routes towards the development of fast opto-spintronic devices based on antiferromagnetic materials.

Abstract
In antiferromagnets, the efficient transport of spin-waves has until now only been observed in the insulating antiferromagnet hematite, where circularly (or a superposition of pairs of linearly) polarized spin-waves diffuse over long distances. Here, we report long-distance spin-transport in the antiferromagnetic orthoferrite YFeO3, where a different transport mechanism is enabled by the combined presence of the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and externally applied fields. The magnon decay length is shown to exceed hundreds of nanometers, in line with resonance measurements that highlight the low magnetic damping. We observe a strong anisotropy in the magnon decay lengths that we can attribute to the role of the magnon group velocity in the transport of spin-waves in antiferromagnets. This unique mode of transport identified in YFeO3 opens up the possibility of a large and technologically relevant class of materials, i.e., canted antiferromagnets, for long-distance spin transport.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WWW production and a measurement of its cross section using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Events with two same-sign leptons (electrons or muons) and at least two jets, as well as events with three charged leptons, are selected. A multivariate technique is then used to discriminate between signal and background events. Events from WWW production are observed with a significance of 8.0 standard deviations, where the expectation is 5.4 standard deviations. The inclusive WWW production cross section is measured to be 820±100 (stat)±80 (syst) fb, approximately 2.6 standard deviations from the predicted cross section of 511±18 fb calculated at next-to-leading-order QCD and leading-order electroweak accuracy.

Abstract
The standard model of particle physics1-4 describes the known fundamental particles and forces that make up our Universe, with the exception of gravity. One of the central features of the standard model is a field that permeates all of space and interacts with fundamental particles5-9. The quantum excitation of this field, known as the Higgs field, manifests itself as the Higgs boson, the only fundamental particle with no spin. In 2012, a particle with properties consistent with the Higgs boson of the standard model was observed by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN10,11. Since then, more than 30 times as many Higgs bosons have been recorded by the ATLAS experiment, enabling much more precise measurements and new tests of the theory. Here, on the basis of this larger dataset, we combine an unprecedented number of production and decay processes of the Higgs boson to scrutinize its interactions with elementary particles. Interactions with gluons, photons, and W and Z bosons-the carriers of the strong, electromagnetic and weak forces-are studied in detail. Interactions with three third-generation matter particles (bottom (b) and top (t) quarks, and tau leptons (τ)) are well measured and indications of interactions with a second-generation particle (muons, μ) are emerging. These tests reveal that the Higgs boson discovered ten years ago is remarkably consistent with the predictions of the theory and provide stringent constraints on many models of new phenomena beyond the standard model.

Abstract
BackgroundSubcutaneous (SC) tocilizumab (TCZ), a recombinant humanized anti-interleukin-6 receptor (IL-6R) monoclonal antibody, is approved globally for the treatment of giant cell arteritis (GCA), with once weekly injections, based on the GiACTA trial.ObjectivesThis Phase Ib study (NCT03923738) investigated the pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), safety and exploratory efficacy of 2 doses of TCZ given intravenously (IV) in patients with GCA. The purpose was to explore an IV dose resulting in a minimum exposure level within the range of effective trough concentrations achieved with TCZ SC dosing in GCA and not exceeding the exposure of the well-tolerated 8 mg/kg IV every 4 weeks (Q4W) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA).MethodsThis study enrolled patients with GCA in Switzerland who had received ≥5 consecutive doses of TCZ IV 8 mg/kg (off label) Q4W and were in remission. Patients received 5 or 6 doses of TCZ IV 7 mg/kg Q4W in period 1 and, if still in remission, then received 5 or 6 doses of 6 mg/kg Q4W in period 2. Glucocorticoid use was at the investigator’s discretion. PK endpoints were maximum concentration (Cmax), minimum (trough) concentration (Ctrough), area under the curve (AUCτ) over a dosing interval (τ) and average concentration (Cmean) calculated as AUCτ/τ of TCZ after the last dose of each period. Other endpoints included PD markers (IL-6, soluble IL-6R [sIL-6R], C-reactive protein [CRP] and erythrocyte sedimentation rate [ESR]), safety (adverse events [AEs], serious AEs [SAEs]) and exploratory efficacy (rates of flare and remission).ResultsIn 24 patients enrolled, median (range) age was 65.5 (57-90) years and the majority were female (62.5%). All patients had a history of elevated ESR and/or CRP and evidence of GCA by temporal artery biopsy and/or evidence of large vessel vasculitis at GCA diagnosis. The mean PK profile following TCZ IV 7 mg/kg Q4W in Period 1 was of a similar shape to mean PK profile following TCZ IV 6 mg/kg Q4W in Period 2, with a slightly lower exposure at the 6-mg/kg dose level (Figure 1). Compared with the 7-mg/kg dose, TCZ exposures (Cmax and AUCτ) were on average 11.2% and 20.0% lower at the 6-mg/kg dose (Table 1). Mean IL-6 serum concentrations were elevated at baseline due to previous TCZ treatment and remained elevated throughout the study, with slightly higher concentrations in Period 1 (7 mg/kg) than Period 2 (6 mg/kg). Mean sIL-6R concentrations were elevated at baseline and comparable between the 2 doses at steady state. As expected for patients in remission, CRP levels and most ESRs were within the normal ranges at baseline and throughout the study. Overall, 22 patients (91.7%) had ≥1 AE; infections were the most frequently reported AEs. Two patients (8.3%) experienced a Grade ≥3 AE. The majority of AEs (70.8%) were not TCZ-related. Four patients (16.7%) reported an SAE; 1 (pneumococcal pneumonia) was considered TCZ-related by the investigator and 3 led to treatment interruption. There were no deaths. Abstract
Aims Atrial flutter (AFlut) is a common re-entrant atrial tachycardia driven by self-sustainable mechanisms that cause excitations to propagate along pathways different from sinus rhythm. Intra-cardiac electrophysiological mapping and catheter ablation are often performed without detailed prior knowledge of the mechanism perpetuating AFlut, likely prolonging the procedure time of these invasive interventions. We sought to discriminate the AFlut location [cavotricuspid isthmus-dependent (CTI), peri-mitral, and other left atrium (LA) AFlut classes] with a machine learning-based algorithm using only the non-invasive signals from the 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG). Methods and results Hybrid 12-lead ECG dataset of 1769 signals was used (1424 in silico ECGs, and 345 clinical ECGs from 115 patients—three different ECG segments over time were extracted from each patient corresponding to single AFlut cycles). Seventy-seven features were extracted. A decision tree classifier with a hold-out classification approach was trained, validated, and tested on the dataset randomly split after selecting the most informative features. The clinical test set comprised 38 patients (114 clinical ECGs). The classifier yielded 76.3% accuracy on the clinical test set with a sensitivity of 89.7%, 75.0%, and 64.1% and a positive predictive value of 71.4%, 75.0%, and 86.2% for CTI, peri-mitral, and other LA class, respectively. Considering majority vote of the three segments taken from each patient, the CTI class was correctly classified at 92%. Conclusion Our results show that a machine learning classifier relying only on non-invasive signals can potentially identify the location of AFlut mechanisms. This method could aid in planning and tailoring patient-specific AFlut treatments.

Abstract
A search for lepton-flavor-violating Z→eτ and Z→μτ decays with pp collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented. This analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of Run 2 pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV and is combined with the results of a similar ATLAS search in the final state in which the τ lepton decays hadronically, using the same data set as well as Run 1 data. The addition of leptonically decaying τ leptons significantly improves the sensitivity reach for Z→ℓτ decays. The Z→ℓτ branching fractions are constrained in this analysis to B(Z→eτ)<7.0×10^{-6} and B(Z→μτ)<7.2×10^{-6} at 95% confidence level. The combination with the previously published analyses sets the strongest constraints to date: B(Z→eτ)<5.0×10^{-6} and B(Z→μτ)<6.5×10^{-6} at 95% confidence level.

Abstract
A search for new phenomena is presented in final states with two leptons and one or no b-tagged jets. The event selection requires the two leptons to have opposite charge, the same flavor (electrons or muons), and a large invariant mass. The analysis is based on the full run-2 proton-proton collision dataset recorded at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb^{-1}. No significant deviation from the expected background is observed in the data. Inspired by the B-meson decay anomalies, a four-fermion contact interaction between two quarks (b, s) and two leptons (ee or μμ) is used as a benchmark signal model, which is characterized by the energy scale and coupling, Λ and g_{*}, respectively. Contact interactions with Λ/g_{*} lower than 2.0 (2.4) TeV are excluded for electrons (muons) at the 95% confidence level, still far below the value that is favored by the B-meson decay anomalies. Model-independent limits are set as a function of the minimum dilepton invariant mass, which allow the results to be reinterpreted in various signal scenarios.

Abstract
AIMS The treatment of atrial fibrillation beyond pulmonary vein isolation has remained an unsolved challenge. Targeting regions identified by different substrate mapping approaches for ablation resulted in ambiguous outcomes. With the effective refractory period being a fundamental prerequisite for the maintenance of fibrillatory conduction, this study aims at estimating the effective refractory period with clinically available measurements. METHODS AND RESULTS A set of 240 simulations in a spherical model of the left atrium with varying model initialization, combination of cellular refractory properties, and size of a region of lowered effective refractory period was implemented to analyse the capabilities and limitations of cycle length mapping. The minimum observed cycle length and the 25% quantile were compared to the underlying effective refractory period. The density of phase singularities was used as a measure for the complexity of the excitation pattern. Finally, we employed the method in a clinical test of concept including five patients. Areas of lowered effective refractory period could be distinguished from their surroundings in simulated scenarios with successfully induced multi-wavelet re-entry. Larger areas and higher gradients in effective refractory period as well as complex activation patterns favour the method. The 25% quantile of cycle lengths in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation was found to range from 85 to 190 ms. CONCLUSION Cycle length mapping is capable of highlighting regions of pathologic refractory properties. In combination with complementary substrate mapping approaches, the method fosters confidence to enhance the treatment of atrial fibrillation beyond pulmonary vein isolation particularly in patients with complex activation patterns.

Abstract
A search for charged leptons with large impact parameters using 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data from the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented, addressing a long-standing gap in coverage of possible new physics signatures. Results are consistent with the background prediction. This search provides unique sensitivity to long-lived scalar supersymmetric lepton partners (sleptons). For lifetimes of 0.1 ns, selectron, smuon, and stau masses up to 720, 680, and 340 GeV, respectively, are excluded at 95% confidence level, drastically improving on the previous best limits from LEP.

Tight junction (TJ) proteins have been suggested as molecular correlates for peritoneal semi-permeability and dialytic transport function in patients on peritoneal dialysis. Junction abundance in healthy individuals, in those with CKD5 and in patients on PD has not been described yet, the relation with peritoneal solute transport is unknown.
Method
Junction and transporter expression was analysed in multi-omics data sets from microdissected omental arterioles in children with normal renal function, CKD5 and on PD with low and high glucose degradation product (GDP) content (n=6/group). Parietal peritoneal tight junction proteins CLDN-1,-2,-3,-4,-5,-15, the adapter protein of claudins to actin cytoskeleton protein, zonula occludens-1 (ZO-1), the tricellular junction protein tricellulin (TriC), and transcellular transporters for sodium (ENaC), glucose (SGLT-1) and phosphate (PIT-1) were quantified in 40 non-CKD individuals, 20 children with CKD5 and 20 and 15 children on low- and high-GDP PD by quantitative, digital immunohistochemistry. Findings were correlated to 2-hour peritoneal equilibration test data obtained within 6 months of biopsy sampling (n=23). Primary human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) were used to study the effects of single PD compounds on transepithelial electrical resistance (TER) and molecular size-dependent paracellular transport capacity. Co-stained monolayers were visualized by confocal microscopy. Single junction molecule localization and clustering were analysed by super resolution microscopy.
Results
Transcriptome and proteome pathway enrichment analysis of arteriolar junction and membrane protein demonstrated regulation in CKD5 versus health, and differential regulation by low- and high-GDP PD versus CKD5. In the parietal peritoneum all junctions and cellular transporters were expressed in endothelial and mesothelial cells. Pore forming CLDN-2, -4 and -15 were localized also in submesothelial immune cells. Parietal peritoneal junction abundance was age-dependent and also modified by CKD5 and PD. Mesothelial and endothelial abundance of the selective cation/water channel CLDN-2 increased in patients on low- and high-GDP PD fluids. Adaptor protein ZO-1 was upregulated in low GDP-PD versus CKD5, while sealing proteins CLDN -3 and -5 were downregulated. D/P creatinine, D/P phosphate, D/D0 glucose were similar in CKD5 and PD groups. D/P creatinine correlated with mesothelial CLDN-15, with arteriolar CLDN-2 and TriC and with endothelial ENaC. D/P phosphate correlated with endothelial CLDN-15, D/D0 glucose with mesothelial CLDN-4 and arteriolar CLDN-2. Capillary ZO-1 correlated with 24-h ultrafiltration standardized to body surface area and dialytic glucose exposure. In vitro, TER was decreased by low pH, glucose and 0.5µM methylglyoxal after 5h. Alanyl-glutamine (AlaGln) dose-dependently increased TER, and reduced 10kDa and 70kDa solute at 24mM, increased the abundance of ZO-1 and CLDN5 at cell-cell contacts, and on nanoscale clustering of the pore-forming CLDN2 and CLDN5.
Conclusion
Abundance of parietal peritoneal sealing and pore forming junctions and transcellular solute transporters varies with cell type and age and is differentially regulated by PD and associated with dialytic transport function. Our preliminary analyses illustrate the role of junctions and cellular transporters for solute transport across the peritoneal mesothelial and endothelial cell barrier. In-depth understanding of specific molecular functions should provide targets for modulation to improve efficacy of PD.

Due to the unphysiological composition of PD fluids, chronic peritoneal dialysis (PD) induces progressive peritoneal fibrosis, hypervascularization, and vasculopathy. The evolution of the PD membrane and vasculopathy following kidney transplantation (KTx) is largely unknown.
Method
Arteriolar and peritoneal tissues were obtained from 107 children with chronic kidney disease (CKD5), 72 children on PD (treated with neutral pH PD fluids, with low glucose degradation product content, GDP) and 21 children, who underwent KTx 4-5 weeks after a median 21 months of PD. Specimen underwent standardized digital quantitative histomorphometry. Molecular mechanisms were studied in omental arterioles microdissected from surrounding fat by multi-omics followed by Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA); key findings were validated in parietal tissues of independent, matched cohorts by quantitative immunohistochemistry (n=15/group).
Results
Arteriolar transcriptome and proteome GSEA revealed suppression of leucocyte migration and T-cell activation / secretory pathways regulation, of sprouting angiogenesis biological processes and of epithelial proliferation and cell cycle after KTx as compared to PD. Lipid / fatty acid metabolism, autophagy and ATP synthesis pathways were activated.
Transcriptome analysis including KTx, PD and CKD5 specifically attributed regulation of arteriolar lipid and fatty acid metabolism to transplantation and comprised 140 transcripts; their regulation was confirmed on the proteome level. Hub gene fatty acid synthase was identified by protein interaction analysis (string-db.org). 15 arteriolar genes activated by PD were inactivated after KTx and included glucose metabolisms and cytoskeleton related transcripts. 24 transcripts and 10 corresponding proteins induced by PD were still active after KTx and associated with biological processes related to TGF-ß signaling, fibrosis and mineral absorption.
In line with arteriolar multi-omics findings, peritoneal hypervascularization induced by chronic PD was reversed after Tx to CKD5 level. CD45 positive tissue infiltrating leucocytes count was reduced by 40% and was independently associated with microvessel density in multivariable analysis including PD vintage, daily GDP exposure and recent KTx. Peritoneal lymphatic vessel density, submesothelial thickness, activated fibroblast, fibrin deposit, macrophage and EMT cell counts remained unchanged after KTx compared to PD. Arteriolar lumen to vessel ratios (a marker of vasculopathy) were similar in both groups.
Vessel-homeostasis-related proteins in independent, matched cohorts demonstrated increased caspase-3 abundance in peritoneal arterioles after KTx. Arteriolar VEGF-A, thrombospondin, angiopoietin1/2, and hypoxia-inducible factor-1 (HIF-1a) were unchanged, while submesothelial HIF-1a and angiopoietin1/2 were decreased after Tx, favoring vessel maturation. The abundance of the key driver of fibrosis, TGF-ß-effector pSMAD2/3, was unchanged in the peritoneum and arterioles after Tx.
Conclusion
Our multi-omics analyses of fat covered omental arterioles, not directly exposed to PD fluids, demonstrate inhibition of PD induced immune response and angiogenesis pathways, of glucose metabolism and cytoskeleton regulation to levels similar as seen in children with CKD5. Arteriolar lipid and fatty acid metabolism is selectively altered after KTx. Reversal of low GDP PD induced hypervascularization and inflammation of the parietal peritoneum after KTx, mirror molecular changes in omental arterioles, while profibrotic activity persists after KTx in omental arterioles and in the parietal peritoneum.

Children on dialysis have a high burden of bone related comorbidities and fractures. We report a post-hoc analysis of the HDF-Hearts-Height study to determine the prevalence and risk factors for mineral bone disease in children on hemodiafiltration (HDF) and conventional hemodialysis (HD).
Method
144 children were included in baseline cross-sectional analysis, of which 103 (61 HD, 42 HDF) completed 12-month follow-up. Biomarkers of bone formation and resorption, inflammatory markers, fibroblast growth factor-23 (FGF23) and klotho were measured.
Results
Inflammatory markers interleukin-6 [IL-6], tumor necrosis factor-alfa [TNF-α], and high-sensitivity CRP [hsCRP] were lower in the HDF compared to HD cohorts at baseline and 12 months (p<0.001). Concentrations of bone formation (bone-specific alkaline phosphatase, BAP) and resorption (tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase 5b [TRAP5b]) markers were comparable between cohorts at baseline, but after 12-months the BAP/TRAP5b ratio increased in HDF (p=0.004) and was unchanged in HD (p=0.44). On adjusted analysis the BAP/TRAP5b ratio was 2.66-fold lower (95%CI -3.91, -1.41; p<0.0001) in HD compared to HDF. FGF23 was comparable between groups at baseline (p=0.52) but increased in HD (p<0.0001) and remained static in HDF (p=0.34) at 12-months. Klotho levels were similar between groups and unchanged during follow-up. The FGF23/klotho ratio was 3.86-fold higher (95% CI 2.15, 6.93; p<0.0001) in HD compared to HDF.
Conclusion
We conclude that children on HDF have increased bone turnover, an attenuated inflammatory profile and lower FGF23/klotho ratios compared to those on HD. Long-term studies are required to determine the effect, if any, of an improved bone biomarker profile on fracture risk and growth.

Patients with chronic kidney disease patients (CKD) have an exceedingly high cardiovascular risk. While vasculopathy is further accelerated during peritoneal dialysis (PD), the pathophysiological role of reactive metabolites such as glucose degradation products (GDP) is uncertain.
Method
Omental and parietal peritoneal tissues from 100 non-CKD individuals, 107 children with CKD5, 60 children treated with neutral pH, low GDP, and 30 children treated with acidic pH, high GDP PD fluids underwent standardized digital histomorphometry. Omental arterioles localized within the fat tissue, protected from direct PD fluid exposure were microdissected for multi-omics analysis. Key regulated pathways were validated by quantitative immunostaining, with localization microscopy in peritoneal tissues of matched cohorts and in vitro in human umbilical vein endothelial cells.
Results
Arterioles from children with CKD5 exhibited reduced lumen to vessel ratio (L/V) and reduced endothelial telomere length compared to non-CKD individuals; gene ontology analysis identified enrichment of arteriolar genes associated with nuclear telomere cap complex and focal adhesion. Pathway analysis of arteriolar cross-omics identified top canonical pathways including telomere extension by telomerase, actin cytoskeleton, integrin and tight junction signalling.
Peritoneal vasculopathy progressed with PD vintage and was more pronounced with high versus low GDP exposure (p<0.001). Compared to CKD5, low GDP-PD upregulated 145/110 and downregulated 38/34 arteriolar genes/proteins, high GDP-PD upregulated 684/137 and supressed 1560/55 genes/proteins (p<0.01). High GDP milieu induced upregulation of arteriolar genes involved in cell death/apoptosis and suppressed genes related to cell viability/survival, cytoskeleton organization and immune response biofunctions. Vasculopathy associated canonical pathways concordantly regulated on arteriolar gene and protein level with high GDP exposure included cell death/proliferation, apoptosis, cytoskeleton organization, metabolism and detoxification, cell junction signalling, and immune response.
Quantitative validation in PD cohorts with similar PD vintage, dialytic glucose exposure and age (n=15 / group) verified increased proapoptotic activity and cytoskeleton disintegration with high-GDP exposure; single-molecule-localization microscopy demonstrated arteriolar endothelial zonula occludens-1 (ZO-1) disruption. Absolute and relative to endoluminal surface length, arteriolar endothelial cell counts were inversely correlated with GDP exposure, with apoptosis marker caspase-3, TGF-ß induced pSMAD2/3, interleukin-6, ZO-1 protein abundance and the degree of vasculopathy. In vitro, exposure to GDP 3,4-dideoxyglucosone-3-ene dose-dependently reduced nuclear endothelial lamin-A/C and membrane ZO-1 assembly. Transendothelial electrical resistance was decreased. ZO-1 and sealing tight junction claudin-5 protein abundance were decreased in cells after incubation with high GDP compared to low GDP PD fluid and culture media. On nanoscale level GDP reduced junction cluster formation in the membrane area.
Conclusion
Multi-omics analysis of omental arterioles from children without pre-existing vasculopathy and life-style related confounders identified key mechanisms of vascular aging in CKD5 and the major contribution of GDP to accelerated vasculopathy during PD, i.e. disruption of endothelial cell junctions and cytoskeleton and induction of apoptosis.

Renal replacement therapy by peritoneal dialysis (PD) is limited in use and duration by progressive impairment of peritoneal membrane integrity and homeostasis. Preservation of peritoneal membrane integrity during chronic PD remains an urgent but long-unmet medical need. PD therapy failure results from peritoneal fibrosis and angiogenesis caused by hypertonic PD fluid (PDF)-induced mesothelial cytotoxicity. The incompletely defined pathophysiological mechanisms involved confound informed selection of therapeutic targets. Addition of cytoprotective agents to PDF have been shown to counteract pathophysiological mechanisms induced by current PDF. Lithium is a well described inhibitor of glycogen synthase kinase 3β and has recently been shown to also have nephroprotective effects in low doses. Here, we aim to characterize icodextrin-based, PDF-induced cellular injury with a combined omics approach and to investigate the effects of LiCl on the PD-induced observed molecular perturbations.
Method
To investigate mechanisms of acute cellular damage by PDF we chose an in vitro model of primary omental-derived peritoneal mesothelial cells with direct exposure to icodextrin-based PDF, followed by short-term or extended recovery for detection of short-term and long-term changes in transcriptome, proteome, and cell injury. 0, 2.5 or 10 mM LiCl were added to the PDF. In-vitro findings were validated in peritoneal biopsies (n=41) from pediatric PD and CDK5 patients or healthy controls and peritoneal effluents from adult and pediatric PD patients (n=27) or ascites samples (n=4) as control. For in-vivo experiments, healthy and uremic mice (C57/Bl6, female) were chronically exposed to PD-fluid without or with the addition of 5 mM LiCl via an implanted catheter. In-vivo overexpression of CRYAB was induced by i.p. injection of an adenoviral vector. All animal experiments and use of patient samples were approved by the local ethics committees and performed according to animal protection laws or the Declaration of Helsinki, respectively.
Results
LiCl significantly improved mesothelial cell survival in a dose-dependent manner. Combined transcriptomic and proteomic characterization of icodextrin-based PDF-induced mesothelial cell injury identified αB-crystallin as the mesothelial cell protein most significantly and consistently counter-regulated by LiCl. In-vitro and in-vivo overexpression of αB-crystallin triggered a fibrotic phenotype and PDF-like upregulation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), CD31-positive cells, and TGFβ-independent activation of TGFβ-regulated targets. In contrast, αB-crystallin knock-down decreased VEGF expression and early mesothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (MMT). LiCl reduced VEGF release and counteracted fibrosis- and angiogenesis-associated processes. αB-crystallin in patient-derived mesothelial cells was specifically upregulated in response to PDF and increased in peritoneal mesothelial cells from pediatric PD patient biopsies, correlating with markers of angiogenesis and fibrosis.
Conclusion
The cytoprotective effects of LiCl-supplemented PDF may be explained by counter-regulation of PD-induced angiogenesis via the novel target αB-crystallin. Reduction of mesothelial cell damage, peritoneal fibrosis and VEGF suggests therapeutic potential of this intervention. Repurposing LiCl as a cytoprotective PDF additive may offer a translatable therapeutic strategy to combat peritoneal membrane deterioration during PD therapy. Further study of LiCl-supplemented PDF is merited as a realistic approach to improving treatment longevity and patient outcomes during PD treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Rate-varying S1S2 stimulation protocols can be used for restitution studies to characterize atrial substrate, ionic remodeling, and atrial fibrillation risk. Clinical restitution studies with numerous patients create large amounts of these data. Thus, an automated pipeline to evaluate clinically acquired S1S2 stimulation protocol data necessitates consistent, robust, reproducible, and precise evaluation of local activation times, electrogram amplitude, and conduction velocity. Here, we present the CVAR-Seg pipeline, developed focusing on three challenges: (i) No previous knowledge of the stimulation parameters is available, thus, arbitrary protocols are supported. (ii) The pipeline remains robust under different noise conditions. (iii) The pipeline supports segmentation of atrial activities in close temporal proximity to the stimulation artifact, which is challenging due to larger amplitude and slope of the stimulus compared to the atrial activity. METHODS AND RESULTS The S1 basic cycle length was estimated by time interval detection. Stimulation time windows were segmented by detecting synchronous peaks in different channels surpassing an amplitude threshold and identifying time intervals between detected stimuli. Elimination of the stimulation artifact by a matched filter allowed detection of local activation times in temporal proximity. A non-linear signal energy operator was used to segment periods of atrial activity. Geodesic and Euclidean inter electrode distances allowed approximation of conduction velocity. The automatic segmentation performance of the CVAR-Seg pipeline was evaluated on 37 synthetic datasets with decreasing signal-to-noise ratios. Noise was modeled by reconstructing the frequency spectrum of clinical noise. The pipeline retained a median local activation time error below a single sample (1 ms) for signal-to-noise ratios as low as 0 dB representing a high clinical noise level. As a proof of concept, the pipeline was tested on a CARTO case of a paroxysmal atrial fibrillation patient and yielded plausible restitution curves for conduction speed and amplitude. CONCLUSION The proposed openly available CVAR-Seg pipeline promises fast, fully automated, robust, and accurate evaluations of atrial signals even with low signal-to-noise ratios. This is achieved by solving the proximity problem of stimulation and atrial activity to enable standardized evaluation without introducing human bias for large data sets.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES We assessed the prevalence of severe cardiovascular (CV) disease requiring hospitalization among patients with schizophrenia in France. METHOD We included patients hospitalized with schizophrenia or psychotic disorder during 2015, in five French psychiatric hospitals. Patients with CV disease were defined as those with a correspondent ICD-10 code during a hospital stay in any general hospital, five years before or three years after the psychiatric hospitalization. CV disease included myocardial infarction (MI), stroke, heart failure (HF), coronary artery disease (CAD) or peripheral artery disease. Risk factors such as hypertension, obesity and diabetes were recorded. RESULTS In total, 4424 patients with schizophrenia were included. Overall, 203 (4,6%) patients were diagnosed with CV disease, 93 (2.1%) with CAD, 86 (1.9%) with HF and 49 (1.1%) with stroke. The prevalence of hypertension, obesity and diabetes was 11.3%, 9.7% and 7.8%. The median (interquartile range) age of patients with MI and diabetes was 57 (49-70) and 56 (48-66) years. CONCLUSION Patients with schizophrenia develop severe CV disease requiring hospitalization at an early age. These severe events are associated with a high prevalence of risk factors. Early screening and treatment of CV disease and risk factors is important to improve life expectancy and quality of life of these patients.

Abstract
Isotopic distributions of fragments from fission of the neutron-deficient ^{178}Hg nuclide are reported. This experimental observable is obtained for the first time in the region around lead using an innovative approach based on inverse kinematics and the coincidence between the large acceptance magnetic spectrometer VAMOS++ and a new detection arm close to the target. The average fragment N/Z ratio and prompt neutron M_{n} multiplicity are derived and compared with current knowledge from actinide fission. A striking consistency emerges, revealing the unexpected dominant role of the proton subsystem with atomic number between the Z=28 and 50 magic numbers. The origin of nuclear charge polarization in fission and fragment deformation at scission are discussed.

Abstract
The first measurement of longitudinal decorrelations of harmonic flow amplitudes v_{n} for n=2-4 in Xe+Xe collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.44 TeV is obtained using 3 μb^{-1} of data with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The decorrelation signal for v_{3} and v_{4} is found to be nearly independent of collision centrality and transverse momentum (p_{T}) requirements on final-state particles, but for v_{2} a strong centrality and p_{T} dependence is seen. When compared with the results from Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV, the longitudinal decorrelation signal in midcentral Xe+Xe collisions is found to be larger for v_{2}, but smaller for v_{3}. Current hydrodynamic models reproduce the ratios of the v_{n} measured in Xe+Xe collisions to those in Pb+Pb collisions but fail to describe the magnitudes and trends of the ratios of longitudinal flow decorrelations between Xe+Xe and Pb+Pb. The results on the system-size dependence provide new insights and an important lever arm to separate effects of the longitudinal structure of the initial state from other early and late time effects in heavy-ion collisions.

Abstract
Several extensions of the Standard Model predict the production of dark matter particles at the LHC. An uncharted signature of dark matter particles produced in association with VV=W^{±}W^{∓} or ZZ pairs from a decay of a dark Higgs boson s is searched for using 139 fb^{-1} of pp collisions recorded by the ATLAS detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The s→V(qq[over ¯])V(qq[over ¯]) decays are reconstructed with a novel technique aimed at resolving the dense topology from boosted VV pairs using jets in the calorimeter and tracking information. Dark Higgs scenarios with m_{s}>160 GeV are excluded.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Since 2008, specialized chest pain units (CPUs) were implemented across Germany ensuring structured diagnostics in acute chest pain. This study aims to analyze the management of pulmonary embolism (PE) patients in such certified CPUs. METHODS Data were retrieved from 13,902 patients enrolled in the German CPU registry and analyzed for the diagnosis of PE including patient characteristics, critical time intervals, diagnostic workup, treatment, and prognosis. PE patients were compared to the overall CPU patient cohort. Only patients with a complete 3-month follow-up were included. RESULTS Overall, 1.1% of all CPU patients were diagnosed with PE. Chest pain and dyspnea were the leading symptoms. Patients with PE were older, presented with higher heart rates, and more frequently exhibited signs of heart failure, despite a normal left ventricular function. PE patients showed significantly longer time delays between symptom onset and the first medical contact, while PE patients with chest pain presented earlier than PE patients with dyspnea only. Whereas more PE patients had to be transferred to the intensive care unit, in-CPU mortality and event rates over 3 months were low. DISCUSSION/CONCLUSION This study suggests a certain risk for underdiagnosis and consecutive potential undertreatment of PE patients in German Cardiac Society (GCS)-certified CPUs, which is thought to result from an anticipated focus on patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Public awareness for PE beyond chest pain should be improved. Certified CPUs should be urged to implement strategic pathways for a better simultaneous diagnostic workup of differential diagnosis beyond ACS.
