Abstract
Bowel Cancer UK estimate that 175,000 people in the UK have Lynch Syndrome, yet fewer than 5% of this number are aware that they have the condition1 . Contemporaries to Lynch, such as the BRCA (breast cancer) gene, have become household names. Perhaps this is due to greater awareness within the medical field, the media or Angelina Jolie, yet Lynch Syndrome still lags behind in the professional and public consciousness.
