Abstract
Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is an indispensable simulation tool for predicting the emission of pollutants in the work environment. Welding is one of the most common industrial processes that might expose the operators and surrounding workers to certain hazardous gaseous metal fumes. In the present study, we used computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methodology for simulating the emission of iron fumes from the shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) procedure. A galvanized steel chamber was fabricated to measure the pollutant concentration and identify the size of the fume created by the SMAW. Then, the emission of welding aerosol was simulated using a method of computational fluid-particle dynamics with the ANSYS 2020 R1 software. The highest amount of welding fumes concentration was related to iron fumes (i.e., 3045 μg/m3 with a diameter of 0.25 μm). The results of the current study indicated that the local exhaust and general ventilation system can prevent the spreading of welding fumes to the welder's breathing zone and the surrounding environment. CFD was also found to be an efficient method for predicting the emission of the iron fumes created by SMAW as well as for selecting an appropriate ventilation system. However, further studies that take the modeling of welding-generated emission of additional metal particles and gases into account will need to be undertaken.

Abstract
In this study, we developed a needle trap device packed with HKUST-1 (Cu-based metal-organic framework) for the sampling and analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene (BTEX) in ambient air for the first time. The HKUST-1 was synthesized via the electrochemical process. Afterwards, the adsorbent was packed into 22 gauge needles. To provide the different concentrations of BTEX, the syringe pump was connected to the glass chamber to inject a specific rate of the BTEX compounds. Design-expert software (version 7) was used to optimize the analytical parameters including breakthrough volume, desorption conditions and sampling conditions. The best desorption conditions were achieved at 548 K for 6 min, and the best sampling conditions were determined at 309 K of sampling temperature and 20 % of relative humidity. According to the results, the limit of quantification (LOQ) and limit of detection (LOD) of the developed needle trap device (NTD) were in the range of 0.52–1.41 and 0.16–0.5 mg/m3, respectively. In addition, the repeatability and reproducibility of the method were calculated to be in the range of 5.5–13.2 and 5.3–12.3 %, respectively. The analysis of needles stored in the refrigerator (>277 K) and room temperature (298 K) showed that the NTD can store the BTEX analytes for at least 10 and 6 days, respectively. Our findings indicated that the NTD packed with HKUST-1 sorbent can be used as a trustworthy and useful technique for the determination of BTEX in air.

Abstract
Hydroxyapatite is a readily available, inexpensive, environmentally friendly adsorbent with high adsorption capacity. In this study, a polyaniline-doped nano-hydroxyapatite (PANI@HA) adsorbent was synthesized and employed in a needle trap device for the extraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons such as naphthalene, fluoranthene, benzo[a]anthracene, phenanthrene, and benzo[a]pyrene for the first time. The synthesized adsorbent was characterized by X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy analysis. Initially, effective variables such as the carryover effect, storage time, accuracy, and precision of the method were examined in the laboratory. The desorption conditions were optimized using the response surface methodology and central composite design methods. From the standpoint of quantitative parameters, the limit of detection and limit of quantitation were determined to be between 0.001 and 0.003 and 0.021 and 0.051 ng mL-1, respectively, which indicates the high sensitivity of the proposed method. Additionally, no significant changes were detected after storage of analytes inside the needle at 4 °C after 60 days. The results of this study also provide a high correlation between the results of sampling with needles containing PANI@HA and with XAD-2 adsorbent tubes (standard NIOSH 5115 method) (R 2 = 0.98). Finally, the proposed method was successfully employed in the extraction and determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in field (real) samples. In general, it can be concluded that a needle packed with PANI@HA is a reliable and high-performance method for sampling polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons compared to the NIOSH method.

Abstract
CONTEXT Fatigue is a factor that can have negative effects on family life, social relationship and work. Work schedule is one of the affective factors on personnel's fatigue in different jobs. In this study, the work schedule and its effect on rescue personnel in Isfahan are explored. AIMS The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between work schedules and fatigue among rescue personnel. SETTINGS AND DESIGN This study is periodical and has been conducted on 72 employees of rescue personnel in Isfahan. MATERIALS AND METHODS Random sampling was done and the primary data that was collected through fatigue assessment questionnaire after being conducted as a pilot study on 10% of samples were collected to confirm the validity of this study. Finally, the data was given to SPSS11.5 software and were analyzed by descriptive statistics and linear digression. RESULTS The results showed that from the statistical point of view some parts of work schedules like work hours satisfaction, resting time and work order on total fatigue are effective in linear and inverse way but the item "predictibility of work conditions" does not have a meaningful relationship with total fatigue. Furthermore, the results showed that there is a meaningful and inverse relationship with work hours, resting time and work order with mental fatigue and also the work schedule has a meaningful, linear and inverse relation with mental fatigue and total fatigue. CONCLUSIONS By increasing the satisfaction of working hours, increasing resting time and also with an increase of work order the total fatigue of rescue personnel will decrease.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Prevalence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) is high among computer users. The study investigates the effect of three ergonomic interventions on the incidence of musculoskeletal disorders among the staff of Isfahan Province Gas Company, including training, sport, and installation of software. MATERIALS AND METHODS The study was performed in the summer of 2013 on 75 (52 men, 23 women) Isfahan Province Gas Company employees in three phases (phase 1: Evaluation of present situation, phase 2: Performing interventions, and phase 3: Re-evaluation). Participants were divided into three groups (training, exercise, and software). The Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ) and rapid upper limb assessment (RULA) were used. Data collected were analyzed using SPSS software and McNemar test, t-test, and Chi-square test. RESULTS Based on the evaluations, there was a decrease in musculoskeletal symptoms among the trained group participants after they received the training. McNemar test showed that the lower rate of pain in low back, neck, knee, and wrist was significant (P < 0.05). The results obtained from the RULA method for evaluation of posture showed an average 25 points decrease in the right side of the body and 20 points decrease in the left side of the body in the group subjected to training. Based on t-test, the decrease was significant. CONCLUSION The study demonstrated that majority of the participants accepted interventions, which indicates that most of the people were unsatisfied with the work settings and seeking improvement at the workplace. Overall, the findings show that training, chair adjustment, and arrangement in workplace could decrease musculoskeletal disorders.

Abstract
Various studies carried out on different photo anthropometry, but each one had some deficiencies which during the years they have been resolved. The objective of this paper is to test the efficiency of two-dimensional image processing software in photo anthropometry of hand. In this applied research, 204 office workers and industrial workers were selected. Their hands were measured by manual with photo anthropometric methods. In this study, designing the "Hand Photo Anthropometry Set," we tried to fix the angle and distance of the camera in all of the photos. Thus, some of the common mistakes in photo anthropometric method got controlled. The taken photos were analyzed by Digimizer software, version 4.1.1.0 and Digital Caliper (Model: Mitutoyo Corp., Tokyo, Japan) was used via manual method. t-test statistical test on data revealed that there is no significant difference between the manual and photo anthropometric results (P > 0.05) and the correlation coefficients for hand dimensions are similar in both methods illustrated in the range of 0.71-0.95. The statistical analyses showed that photo anthropometry can be replaced with manual methods. Furthermore, it can provide a great help to develop an anthropometric database for work gloves manufacturers. Since the hand anthropometry is a necessary input for tool design, this survey can be used to determine the percentiles of workers' hands.

Abstract
UNLABELLED Cognitive and behavioral impairment are a major source of disability in daily living of patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI). The Neurobehavioral Rating Scale-Revised (NRS-R) is a short, easy-to administer interview tool developed to improve assessment by clinicians. Data are available on its criterion validity and reliability, but the concurrent validity of the French NRS-R was not yet documented. OBJECTIVE To assess the concurrent validity of the NRS-R with current psychometric tests. METHOD One hundred and four patients with TBI enrolled in a community adjustment program underwent concurrent examination with the NRS-R, cognitive tests assessing memory, attention, and executive functions, and scales of anxiety (STAI) and depressive mood (CES-D). Intercorrelations were undertaken between these variables and the five factors of the NRS-R: F1, intentional behavior; F2, lowered emotional state; F3, survival-oriented behaviour/hightened emotional state; F4, arousal state; and F5, language. Patients were 82 men and 22 women, the mean age was 28.5 years, and 70% had severe TBI (Glasgow coma score [GCS] below 8 on admission). They were assessed 52 months on average after their injury. RESULTS Factor F1 was correlated with results on the GCS (P<0.05), the Tower of London test (TL, P<0.01), the Trail Making Test (TMT, P<0.01), divided attention (DA) and inhibition (IN) subscales of the Zimmermann and Fimm's Attention battery (TEA) (P<0.01) and reverse digit span (DS, P<0.05). Factor F2 was positively related to age at injury, time since injury (TSI) (P<0.05) and CESD and STAI scores (P<0.001). Factor F3 was related to DA (P<0.01) TL scores and TSI (P<0.05). Factor F4 was related to TL, TMT, DA, flexibility, DS (P<0.05), TSI, duration of post-traumatic amnesia, CES-D score (P<0.05) and STAI scores (P<0.01). Factor F5 was related to GCS, DA (P<0.05), and reaction time on the subscales IN and Go/nogo (GO) of the TEA battery (P<0.01). The NRS-R total score was related to CESD, STAI scores, TMT score, DA (P<0.01) and TL score, IN and GO scores and TSI (P<0.05). DISCUSSION As McCauley et al found with the English version of the NRS-R, significant relationships were found between NRS-R factor scores, cognitive tests and emotional scales. Relationships were also found between factor scores and indicators of injury severity and time since injury. These data suggest fair concurrent validity of the NRS-R.
