Abstract
Automatic monitoring of daily living activities can greatly improve the possibility of living autonomously for frail individuals. Pose recognition based on skeleton tracking data is promising for identifying dangerous situations and trigger external intervention or other alarms, while avoiding privacy issues and the need for patient compliance. Here we present the benefits of pre-processing Kinect-recorded skeleton data to limit the several errors produced by the system when the subject is not in ideal tracking conditions. The accuracy of our two hidden layers MLP classifier improved from about 82% to over 92% in recognizing actors in four different poses: standing, sitting, lying and dangerous sitting.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a complex psychiatric disorder with a substantial genetic contribution. While the specific variants underlying OCD's heritability are still unknown, findings from genome-wide association studies (GWAS) corroborate the importance of common SNPs explaining the phenotypic variance in OCD. Investigating associations between the genetic liability for OCD, as reflected by a polygenic risk score (PRS), and potential endophenotypes of the disorder, such as the personality trait harm avoidance, may aid the understanding of functional pathways from genes to diagnostic phenotypes. METHODS We derived PRS for OCD at several P-value thresholds based on the latest Psychiatric Genomics Consortium OCD GWAS (2688 cases, 7037 controls) in an independent sample of OCD patients (n = 180), their unaffected first-degree relatives (n = 108) and healthy controls (n = 200). Using linear regression, we tested whether these PRS are associated with the personality trait harm avoidance. RESULTS Results showed that OCD PRS significantly predicted OCD status, with patients having the highest scores and relatives having intermediate scores. Furthermore, the genetic risk for OCD was associated with harm avoidance across the entire sample, and among OCD patients. As indicated by mediation analyses, harm avoidance mediated the association between the OCD PRS and OCD caseness. These results were observed at multiple P-value thresholds and persisted after the exclusion of patients with a current comorbid major depressive or anxiety disorder. CONCLUSION Our findings support the polygenic nature of OCD and further validate harm avoidance as a candidate endophenotype and diathesis of OCD.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) of the lung in patients with COVID-19 plays a key role in the emergency room and intensive care unit. Lung ultrasound is able to depict typical pulmonary findings of COVID-19 and is therefore suitable for diagnosis and follow-up of these patients. CLINICAL/METHODOLOGICAL ISSUE Lung ultrasound in COVID-19 patients in the emergency room and intensive care unit. STANDARD RADIOLOGICAL METHODS Computed tomography (low-dose CT) and X‑ray of the lung. METHODOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS Lung ultrasound in COVID-19 patients. RECOMMENDATIONS Lung ultrasound in patients with COVID-19 offers similar performance as CT and is superior when compared to X‑ray in evaluating pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Lung ultrasound plays an important role in the emergency room and intensive care unit. POCUS reduces exposure to radiation, therapy delays, and minimizes transport of high-risk patients. Differential diagnoses can also be clarified.

Abstract
Two industrial polycarboxylate superplasticizer samples have been selected to be used within the Priority Program 2005 of the German Research Foundation (DFG SPP 2005). The PCE polymers were characterized via Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) to determine their molar masses (Mw, Mn), the polydispersity index (PDI) and the conversion rate which indicates the incorporation of the macromonomer into the polymer. The anionic charge amount of the PCE samples was assessed via charge titration employing a cationic polymer. Furthermore, the cement dispersing properties of the PCE polymers were captured via 'mini slump' tests so as to assess their ability to fluidize CEM I 42.5 R and CEM III/A 42.5 N samples, respectively. Also, interaction between the PCEs and the surface of the cements was investigated via adsorption and zeta potential measurements of aqueous cement suspensions. The results shall be used for the ongoing research within the Priority Program.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Suicide is a major and complex public health problem. In Switzerland, suicide accounts for about 1000 deaths yearly and is the fourth leading cause of mortality. The first nationwide Swiss study of suicides identified eight male and four female occupations with statistically significant excess of suicide compared to the general Swiss population. Working time, self-employer status, low socio-economic status and low skill level required for occupation were associated with increase in suicide risk. Presently, we aim to compare the distribution of suicide risk across occupations with the prevalence of somatic and psychiatric morbidity in Swiss working-aged adults. We hypothesized that some diseases would cluster in particular occupations, indicating potential work-relatedness of suicides found in these occupations. METHODS We used the Swiss National Cohort (SNC) and included 10575 males and 2756 females deceased by suicide between 1990 and 2014. We estimated the prevalence of 16 categories of concomitant diseases in each occupation, using national mortality records, and assessed the homogeneity of diseases distribution across occupations. For diseases, which prevalence varied significantly across occupations, we analyzed the correlation with the distribution of suicide risk, estimated as the standardized mortality ratio (SMR) of suicide. RESULTS Mental and behavioral disorders were the most commonly reported concomitant diseases in our population. In men, the prevalence of these disorders and more specifically, the prevalence of substance-related and addictive disorders, and of psychotic disorders varied significantly across occupations and was correlated with the SMR of suicide. The prevalence of malignant neoplasms and the prevalence of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue also varied significantly across male occupations, while in women, such a variation was observed for neoplasms of uncertain or unknown behavior and diseases of the nervous system and sense organs, without being correlated with the SMR of suicide. CONCLUSION Some of the identified morbidities can be occupation-related and could negatively affect the working capacity and the employability, which in turn could be related to the suicide. Disentangling concomitant diseases according to their work-relatedness and relationship with the suicide risk is important for identifying occupation-related suicides, understanding their characteristics, and developing appropriated interventions for their prevention.

Abstract
Continuous monitoring of frail individuals for detecting dangerous situations during their daily living at home can be a powerful tool toward their inclusion in the society by allowing living independently while safely. To this goal we developed a pose recognition system tailored to disabled students living in college dorms and based on skeleton tracking through four Kinect One devices independently recording the inhabitant with different viewpoints, while preserving the individual’s privacy. The system is intended to classify each data frame and provide the classification result to a further decision-making algorithm, which may trigger an alarm based on the classified pose and the location of the subject with respect to the furniture in the room. An extensive dataset was recorded on 12 individuals moving in a mockup room and undertaking four poses to be recognized: standing, sitting, lying down, and “dangerous sitting.” The latter consists of the subject slumped in a chair with his/her head lying forward or backward as if unconscious. Each skeleton frame was labeled and represented using 10 discriminative features: three skeletal joint vertical coordinates and seven relative and absolute angles describing articular joint positions and body segment orientation. In order to classify the pose of the subject in each skeleton frame we built a two hidden layers multi-layer perceptron neural network with a “SoftMax” output layer, which we trained on the data from 10 of the 12 subjects (495,728 frames), with the data from the two remaining subjects representing the test set (106,802 frames). The system achieved very promising results, with an average accuracy of 83.9% (ranging 82.7 and 94.3% in each of the four classes). Our work proves the usefulness of human pose recognition based on machine learning in the field of safety monitoring in assisted living conditions.

Abstract
Two types of cements were selected as the reference cement in the priority program 2005 of the German Research Foundation (DFG SPP 2005). A thorough characterization of CEM I 42.5 R has been made in a recent publication [1]. In this paper, the characterization data of the other reference cement CEM III/A 42.5 N are presented from the aspects of chemical and mineralogical compositions as well as physical and chemical properties. The characterization data of the slag, which is the second main constituent of this specific cement besides the clinker, are presented independently. For all data received, the mean values and the corresponding errors were calculated. The data shall be used for the ongoing research within the priority program. Also, researchers from outside this priority program can benefit from these data if the same materials are used.

Abstract
IntroductionLoneliness is a common emotional distress experience and there is increasing evidence of associations with unhealthy lifestyle and adverse health-related factors. Little is known about age and sex as potential effect modifiers, and about the prevalence of loneliness.Objective/aimsTo assess the associations of loneliness with behavioral, physical and mental health factors, taking sex and age into account and to examine the prevalence of loneliness in individuals aged 15+ years.MethodsData from 20,007 participants of the cross-sectional population-based Swiss Health Survey 2012 were analyzed. The association of loneliness with lifestyle and health-related factors were assessed with logistic regression analyses. Wald tests were used to test for age and sex differences.ResultsLoneliness was reported by 64.1% of individuals, and was associated with smoking (OR 1.13, 95% CI 1.05–1.23), physical inactivity (1.20, 1.10–1.31), non-adherence to the 5-a-day recommendation for fruit and vegetable consumption (1.21, 1.07–1.37), and more visits to a physician within the last year (1.29, 1.17–1.42). Loneliness was also associated with high cholesterol levels (1.31, 1.18–1.45), diabetes (1.40, 1.16–1.67), self-reported chronic diseases (1.41, 1.30–1.54), impaired self-perceived health (1.94, 1.74–2.16), moderate and high psychological distress (3.74, 3.37–4.16), and depression (2.78, 2.22–3.48). Age modulated the associations in BMI, smoking, visiting a physician within the past year, and self-perceived health. Sex did generally not modulate the associations.ConclusionLoneliness is associated with unhealthy lifestyle, and poorer physical and mental health. Associations were modulated by age, but not sex. Abstract
Muscular weakness is one of the main signs associated with the onset and progression of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. During motor functions, this disease also determines deviations in muscular activity, especially in terms of coordination and activation between muscles acting on the same joints. In this study, surface EMG activity of the lower limb muscles of 10 children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at different times from disease onset were recorded along with kinematics during unconstrained gait. Muscular co-activation of muscle pairs was then evaluated by extracting different co-activation indicators, and linking them with kinematic markers of motor function. The combination of disease progression and pharmacological treatment resulted in a significant decrease in terms of co-activation indexes for two pairs of agonist-antagonist muscles, and for one of these two pairs the decrease in co-activation was correlated with a decrease in the motor function of gait.

Through a comprehensive study using neutron and x-ray diffraction, we show that this nonequilibrium phase assumes a crystal structure distinct from those of equilibrium metallic phases realized in the ruthenates by chemical doping, high pressure, and epitaxial strain, which in turn leads to a distinct electronic band structure. Dynamical mean field theory calculations based on the crystallographically refined atomic coordinates and realistic Coulomb repulsion parameters indicate a semimetallic state with partially gapped Fermi surface. Our neutron diffraction data show that the nonequilibrium behavior is homogeneous, with antiferromagnetic long-range order completely suppressed. These results provide a new basis for theoretical work on the origin of the unusual nonequilibrium diamagnetism in Ca_{2}RuO_{4}.
