Abstract
The first study of rational synthesis of triazine-based nanoporous frameworks as electrocatalysts for CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) was presented. The resulting optimized framework with rich pyridinic nitrogen-containing sites can selectively reduce CO2 to CO in water with a high Faradic efficiency of ca. 82% under a moderate overpotential of 560 mV. The key of our success lies in the use of pyridine-based backbones as sacrificial groups inside the triazine framework for in situ generation of CO2RR-active pyridinic N-doped sites during the high-temperature ZnCl2-promoted polymerization process. We anticipate that this study may facilitate new possibilities for the development of porous organic polymers for electrochemical conversion of CO2.

Abstract
Mathanobatins (Mb, Mbtins) were immobilized successfully on nanometer-sized gold colloid particles associated with β-mercaptoethylamine. The structures of Mb functionalized gold nanoparticles were characterized and confirmed by UV-vis spectroscopy (UV-vis), FTIR spectra and electrochemical analyses. Direct electron transfer between Mb or copper-loading Mbtins and the modified electrode was investigated without the aid of any electron mediator. The copper-loading Mbtins act as a better electrocatalyst for the reduction of H2O2 than Mb. The copper-loading Mb, with which gold nanoparticles were functionalized, as a model enzyme, was immobilized on gold electrode to construct a novel H2O2 biosensor. In pH 6.4 phosphate buffer solution, the reduction and oxidation peak potentials of Mb functionalized gold nanoparticles modified Au electrode (copper-loading Mbtins) were 0.115 and 0.222 V. On the surface, capacitance per unite area (Cd) of Mb functionalized gold nanoparticles modified electrode were 38 μF cm-2. The immobilized Mb displayed the features of a peroxidase and gave an excellent electrocatalytic response to the reduction of H2O2. The detection limit of Mb functionalized gold nanoparticles (copper-loading) were 09 × 10-5 mA/M (S/N = 3). The Michaelis-Menten constant (Km) was 0.787 mM. Good stability and sensitivity were assessed for the biosensor.

Abstract
The highly efficient catalytic oxidation and oxidative kinetic resolution (OKR) of secondary alcohols has been achieved using a synthetic manganese catalyst with low loading and hydrogen peroxide as an environmentally benign oxidant in the presence of a small amount of sulfuric acid as an additive. The product yields were high (up to 93%) for alcohol oxidation and the enantioselectivity was excellent (>90% ee) for the OKR of secondary alcohols. Mechanistic studies revealed that alcohol oxidation occurs via hydrogen atom (H-atom) abstraction from an α-CH bond of the alcohol substrate and a two-electron process by an electrophilic Mn-oxo species. Density functional theory calculations revealed the difference in reaction energy barriers for H-atom abstraction from the α-CH bonds of R- and S-enantiomers by a chiral high-valent manganese-oxo complex, supporting the experimental result from the OKR of secondary alcohols.

Abstract
Flame ionized detector has been such widely applied in chemical analysis since its great invention and the discovery of chem-ionization. Thanks to the excellent contribution of Sternberg and the successors in this field, effective carbon number concept (ECN) can make the analysis calibration greatly simplified especially when authentic standard substances are unavailable or in the complicated case such as petrochemical industry and biomass processing. To supplement the ECN rule in multi-ethers, this work determined relative response factors of poly(oxymethylene) dimethyl ethers experimentally, and developed a probabilistic P1-P2 effective carbon number model (P-ECN) for multi-ethers compounds. showed this method could improve the precision of quantitative analysis for poly(oxymethylene) dimethyl ethers and could predict relative response factors of other ethers with similar structure to a degree. LOD for each DMMn monomer ranged between 0.4-0.7 ng, and MDL ranged between 2 and 4 ug/mL. In the practical quantitation of diluted samples at level of 10 ug/mL, the relative standard deviation was less than 5%. Practical ethers-fuel blend with complex composition also was quantified with errors less than 3%.
