Abstract
In this work, a LaB6 -alloying strategy is reported to effectively boost the figure-of-merit (ZT) of Ge0.92 Bi0.08 Te-based alloys up to ≈2.2 at 723 K, attributed to a synergy of La-dopant induced band structuring and structural manipulation. Density-function-theory calculations reveal that La dopant enlarges the bandgap and converges the energy offset between the sub-valence bands in cubic-structured GeTe, leading to a significantly increased effective mass, which gives rise to a high Seebeck coefficient of ≈263 µV K-1 and in turn a superior power factor of ≈43 µW cm-1 K-2 at 723 K. Besides, comprehensive electron microscopy characterizations reveal that the multi-scale phonon scattering centers, including a high density of planar defects, Boron nanoparticles in tandem with enhanced boundaries, dispersive Ge nanoprecipitates in the matrix, and massive point defects, contribute to a low lattice thermal conductivity of ≈0.67 W m-1 K-1 at 723 K. Furthermore, a high microhardness of ≈194 Hv is witnessed in the as-designed Ge0.92 Bi0.08 Te(LaB6 )0.04 alloy, derived from the multi-defect-induced strengthening. This work provides a strategy for developing high-performance and mechanical robust middle-temperature thermoelectric materials for practical thermoelectric applications.

Abstract
What is already known about this topic? Mushroom poisoning is one of the most serious food safety issues in China. Most poisoning incidents resulted from eating mushrooms causing gastroenteritis and psycho-neurological disorder from which patients usually could fully recover. Most deaths resulted from species causing acute liver failure and rhabdomyolysis, and the remaining deaths were attributed to acute renal failure and hemolysis. What is added by this report? In 2021, the total number of investigations was 327 from 25 provincial-level administrative divisions, involving 923 patients and 20 deaths, and the overall mortality was 2.17%. Overall, 74 poisonous mushrooms causing 6 different clinical syndromes were successfully identified, 15 of which were newly recorded in China as poisonous mushrooms. What are the implications for public health practice? Considering the potential huge risks for collecting and eating wild mushrooms, we strongly advise not collecting and eating unfamiliar wild mushrooms. Promoting knowledge about poisonous mushrooms is essential and urgent to reduce mushroom poisonings. Precise species identification timely after mushroom poisoning is important for appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Many deaths were ascribed to delayed hospitalization.

Abstract
Background: With the rapid urbanization, citizenization of migrants is becoming the development tendency in China. It is significant to analyze the determining factors of the settlement intention of migrants. Methods: The data we used were taken from the China Migrants Dynamic Survey (CMDS) in 2017. Multilevel mixed-effects logistic regression was used to analyze the relationship between air pollution, economic advantages, and settlement intention between different migrants and the moderating effect of social welfare. Results: At the individual level, being female, married, urban and other ethnic, having higher education, older, and health associated with likelihood of settlement intention of migrants. Higher health education, social integration, and, have a health record were positively associated with the likelihood of settlement intention. Higher educated, urban areas, and Han migrants were willing to reduce their pursuit of health for economic development. Conclusion: Health education and more social organizational participation can reduce the negative effect of air pollution and increase the positive effect of economic advantages on settlement intention of migrants. But, in less economically advantaged areas, it has no obvious effect. In the choice of health and wealth, the settlement intention of migrants shows difference, and unfairness and social welfare, in particular health education, can narrow this difference.

Abstract
BACKGROUND & AIMS Although gastroparesis carries a considerable health care and patient burden, associated epidemiological data are limited. To provide new real-world evidence for gastroparesis, we estimated disease prevalence, and investigated patient demographics and disease etiology in a large US claims database. METHODS This retrospective, cross-sectional analysis used de-identified, longitudinal patient-level enrollment and billing data for adults from the Optum Clinformatics Data Mart database, a large US national administrative health insurance claims database. Prevalence was age-, sex-, and geographical region-standardized using the 2018 US census. Descriptive analyses of demographic and clinical variables and underlying disease etiologies were performed. RESULTS The overall standardized prevalence of gastroparesis was 267.7 (95% confidence interval [CI] 264.8-270.7) per 100,000 US adults, whereas prevalence of "definite" gastroparesis (individuals diagnosed within 3 months of gastric emptying scintigraphy testing with persistent symptoms for more than 3 months) was 21.5 (95% CI 20.6-22.4) per 100,000 persons. Patients with gastroparesis had an overall Charlson Comorbidity Index score of 4.2, indicating substantial comorbidity burden. The most frequently documented comorbidities were chronic pulmonary disease (46.4%), diabetes with chronic complication (37.3%), and peripheral vascular disease (30.4%). Patients most commonly had a diabetic etiology (57.4%; type 1, 5.7% and type 2, 51.7%), followed by postsurgical (15.0%), drug-induced (11.8%), and idiopathic (11.3%) etiologies. CONCLUSIONS New evidence is provided regarding the prevalence, patient demographics, and etiology of gastroparesis in the US general population. Wider availability of reliable objective gastric emptying measures and further education of medical professionals in recognizing and diagnosing gastroparesis would benefit future studies and improve understanding of disease epidemiology.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a major cause of dementia, which is a growing global health problem and has a huge impact on individuals and society. As the modifying role of geniposidic acid (GPA) has been suggested in AD, this study sets out to determine if and how GPA treatment affects AD progression in mice. METHODS Potential downstream target genes of GPA during AD were identified by bioinformatics analysis, revealing GAP43 as a primary candidate protein. Then, mPrP-APPswe/PS1De9 AD transgenic mice were treated with GPA via intragastric administration. This allowed for gain- and loss-of-function assays of candidate proteins being carried out with or without GPA treatment, after which behavioral tests could be conducted for mice. Cortical neuron apoptosis was measured by TUNEL staining, Amyloid β-protein (Aβ) expression in cerebral cortex by Thioflavin-s staining, and Aβ, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-4 and TNF-α levels in cerebral cortex by ELISA. GAP43 expression in cerebral cortex of mice was detected by immunohistochemistry. Primary cortical neurons of embryonic mice were isolated and induced by Aβ1-42 to construct AD cell model. Cell viability was assessed by CCK-8, and axon growth by immunofluorescence. RESULTS GPA administration significantly improved the cognitive impairment, reducing Aβ accumulation and neuronal apoptosis in AD mice, and alleviated inflammation and axonal injury of Aβ1-42-induced neurons. GAP43 was shown experimentally to be the target of GPA in AD. Silencing of GAP43 repressed the neuroprotective effect of GPA treatment on AD mice. GPA elevated GAP43 expression via PI3K/AKT pathway activation and ultimately improved nerve injury in AD mice. CONCLUSION GPA activates a PI3K/AKT/GAP43 regulatory axis to alleviate AD progression in mice.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Ketamine, a non-competitive N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) antagonist, is widely applicable to anesthesia, analgesia, and sedation. However, the function and mechanisms of ketamine in the long-term learning and memory function of neonatal mice are unclear. OBJECTIVE The present study aims to investigate whether long-term learning and memory function will be affected by multiple ketamine exposures in the early development period. METHODS The mRNA and protein levels were measured by RT-qPCR and western blot, respectively. The Morris Water Maze test was performed to assess spatial learning and memory. RESULTS We identified that neonatal exposure to ketamine downsized the positive neurons for microtubule-associated protein doublecortin (DCX) and Ki67 in hippocampal dentate gyrus at the juvenile and late adolescence stages. Double-labeling tests demonstrated that the counts of Iba1+ cells and Ki67+ cells were pronouncedly diminished with exposure to ketamine. Further, qPCR assays to screen the key factors predisposing the populations and maturation of microglia exhibited remarkable decline of CX3CR1 mRNA levels in ketamine group versus the control group. The close relation of microglia to synaptic plasticity was depicted by the significantly downregulated synaptic plasticity-related proteins NR2B and PSD-95 subsequent to multiple exposures to ketamine. Finally, we found that both the protein and mRNA levels of BDNF were markedly decreased in ketamine group versus the control group. CONCLUSION We found that multiple exposures to ketamine in neonatal mice lead to spatial learning and memory dysfunction. The alterations of microglial development and function are the possible mechanisms of long-term learning and memory impairment.

Abstract
Background Although great efforts have been made to study the occurrence and development of glioma, the molecular mechanisms of glioma are still unclear. Single-cell sequencing technology provides a new perspective for researchers to explore the pathogens of tumors to further help make treatment and prognosis decisions for patients with tumors. Methods In this study, we proposed an algorithm framework to explore the molecular mechanisms of glioma by integrating single-cell gene expression profiles and gene regulatory relations. First, since there were great differences among malignant cells from different glioma samples, we analyzed the expression status of malignant cells for each sample, and then tumor consensus genes were identified by constructing and analyzing cell-specific networks. Second, to comprehensively analyze the characteristics of glioma, we integrated transcriptional regulatory relationships and consensus genes to construct a tumor-specific regulatory network. Third, we performed a hybrid clustering analysis to identify glioma cell types. Finally, candidate tumor gene biomarkers were identified based on cell types and known glioma-related genes. Results We got six identified cell types using the method we proposed and for these cell types, we performed functional and biological pathway enrichment analyses. The candidate tumor gene biomarkers were analyzed through survival analysis and verified using literature from PubMed. Conclusions The results showed that these candidate tumor gene biomarkers were closely related to glioma and could provide clues for the diagnosis and prognosis of patients with glioma. In addition, we found that four of the candidate tumor gene biomarkers (NDUFS5, NDUFA1, NDUFA13, and NDUFB8) belong to the NADH ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit gene family, so we inferred that this gene family may be strongly related to glioma.

Abstract
BACKGROUND One of the challenges in the management of patients with follicular lymphoma (FL) is the identification of individuals with histological transformation, most commonly into diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). [18F]FDG-PET/CT is used for staging of patients with lymphoma, but visual interpretation cannot reliably discern FL from DLBCL. This study evaluated whether radiomic features extracted from clinical baseline [18F]FDG PET/CT and analyzed by machine learning algorithms may help discriminate FL from DLBCL. MATERIALS AND METHODS Patients were selected based on confirmed histopathological diagnosis of primary FL (n=44) or DLBCL (n=76) and available [18F]FDG PET/CT with EARL reconstruction parameters within 6 months of diagnosis. Radiomic features were extracted from the volume of interest on co-registered [18F]FDG PET and CT images. Analysis of selected radiomic features was performed with machine learning classifiers based on logistic regression and tree-based ensemble classifiers (AdaBoosting, Gradient Boosting, and XG Boosting). The performance of radiomic features was compared with a SUVmax-based logistic regression model. RESULTS From the segmented lesions, 121 FL and 227 DLBCL lesions were included for radiomic feature extraction. In total, 79 radiomic features were extracted from the SUVmap, 51 from CT, and 6 shape features. Machine learning classifier Gradient Boosting achieved the best discrimination performance using 136 radiomic features (AUC of 0.86 and accuracy of 80%). SUVmax-based logistic regression model achieved an AUC of 0.79 and an accuracy of 70%. Gradient Boosting classifier had a significantly greater AUC and accuracy compared to the SUVmax-based logistic regression (p≤0.01). CONCLUSION Machine learning analysis of radiomic features may be of diagnostic value for discriminating FL from DLBCL tumor lesions, beyond that of the SUVmax alone.

Abstract
The primary epithelial tumors of the liver (PETL) are composed of a series of heterogeneous tumors. Although the classification of PETLs has been updated several times by the World Health Organization, the cellular origins of some tumors in this family remain to be precisely depicted. In addition, certain tumors in different categories have similar histology, molecular phenotypes and biological characteristics, suggesting that they may have the same cellular origin. In this work, a narrative review method was adopted to review the relevant papers. By comparing the expression profiles of biomarkers of liver epithelium at different lineages and stages of differentiation, the cells-of-origin of some major members of the PETL family were reassessed. We propose that 1) hepatic adenomas, hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs) and pure fetal hepatoblastomas (HBs) share the same spectrum in their cellular origin including the hepatocytic-committed progenitors (HCP) and their differentiated descendants. 2) Bile duct adenomas, peribiliary cysts and intrahepatic cholangiocellular carcinomas (ICCs) can share the same spectrum in their cellular origin including the cholangiocytic-committed progenitors (CCP) and their differentiated descendants. 3) The cells-of-origin of embryonal HBs include liver stem cells (LSCs), hepatoblasts, and transitional cells between them. Embryonal HB with small cell element, small cell undifferentiated HB and small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the liver can have the same or similar cells-of-origin from LSC. Embryonal HB lacking the small cell component of the LSC phenotype and presenting both hepatocytic and bile duct/ductule components may originate from actual hepatoblasts/hepatic progenitor cells (HPCs) as the combined HCC-ICC does. 4) Teratoid hepatoblastoma and mixed epithelial/mesenchymal HBs can be derived from the LSCs or even less committed extrahepatic pluripotent stem cell. 5) Many members of the PETLs family, including those derived from LSCs, hepatoblasts/HPCs, early HCPs and CCPs, have neuroendocrine potentiality. Except for those primary hepatic neuroendocrine tumor (PHNET) exhibit hepatocytic and/or cholangiocytic phenotypes, other PHNETs subtype may be derived from the descendants of LSC that differentiate towards the upper digestive tract, pancreas or other lineages.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the evidence on the effectiveness of music therapy in the recovery of language function in post-stroke aphasia, compared with conventional therapy or no therapy. METHODS We searched studies that explored the effect of music therapy on language function in post-stroke aphasia and published in PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CINAHL, ProQuest Digital Dissertations, and ClinicalTrials.gov from inception to March 2021. Six reviewers independently screened out eligible studies, extracted data, and evaluated the methodological quality. Results were pooled using mean difference (MD) with 95% confidence interval (CI). Heterogeneity was assessed by the chi-square test and I2 statistic. RESULTS Six studies were included in this meta-analysis involving 115 patients. The methodological quality of these studies ranged from poor to excellent. There was significant mean difference in functional communication for post-stroke aphasia by 1.45 (95% CI: 0.24, 2.65; P = 0.02, from poor to excellent evidence), in repetition by 6.49 (95% CI: 0.97, 12.00; P = 0.02, from acceptable to excellent evidence), and in naming by 11.44 (95% CI: 1.63, 21.26; P = 0.02, from acceptable to excellent evidence). But there was no significant difference in comprehension for post-stroke aphasia by 7.21 (95% CI: - 10.88, 25.29; P = 0.43, from acceptable to excellent evidence). CONCLUSIONS Music therapy can improve functional communication, repetition, and naming in patients with post-stroke aphasia, but did not significantly improve comprehension. Abstract
Background Single-cell sequencing approaches allow gene expression to be measured at the single-cell level, providing opportunities and challenges to study the aetiology of complex diseases, including cancer. Methods Based on single-cell gene and lncRNA expression levels, we proposed a computational framework for cell type identification that fully considers cell dropout characteristics. First, we defined the dropout features of the cells and identified the dropout clusters. Second, we constructed a differential co-expression network and identified differential modules. Finally, we identified cell types based on the differential modules. Results The method was applied to single-cell melanoma data, and eight cell types were identified. Enrichment analysis of the candidate cell marker genes for the two key cell types showed that both key cell types were closely related to the physiological activities of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC); one key cell type was associated with mitosis-related activities, and the other with pathways related to ten diseases. Conclusions Through identification and analysis of key melanoma-related cell types, we explored the molecular mechanism of melanoma, providing insight into melanoma research. Moreover, the candidate cell markers for the two key cell types are potential therapeutic targets for melanoma.

Abstract
Irinotecan (CPT-11) is a camptothecin chemotherapy drug largely used in treating cancers. However, its strong adverse effects, such as gastrointestinal and hepatic toxicities, tend to reduce the patients' life qualities and to limit the clinical use of CPT-11. The protective roles of selenium (Se) and probiotics against CPT-11-induced toxicity have been widely reported. However, the application of Se-enriched probiotics in the adjuvant therapy of CPT-11 has not been well explored. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the in-vitro and in-vivo effects of Se-enriched Bifidobacterium longum DD98 (Se-B. longum DD98) as a chemotherapy preventive agent on alleviating intestinal and hepatic toxicities induced by CPT-11 chemotherapy. The results showed that Se-B. longum DD98 positively regulated the aberrant cell viability and oxidative stress induced by CPT-11 both in human normal liver (L-02) and rat small intestinal epithelial (IEC-6) cell lines. In vivo experiment revealed that Se-B. longum DD98 significantly attenuated intestinal and hepatic toxicities by ameliorating symptoms such as body weight loss and diarrhea, and by improving the biochemical indicators of hepatotoxicity and oxidative stress. Furthermore, we discovered that the protective effects of Se-B. longum DD98 based largely upon decreasing the pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1β and IL-18 and enhancing the expression of tight-junction proteins occludin and ZO-1, as well as restoring the composition and diversity of gut microbiota. Results suggested that Se-B. longum DD98 effectively protected livers and intestines against the CPT-11-induced damages, and therefore, could be considered as a promising adjuvant therapeutic agent with CPT-11 for the cancer treatment.

Abstract
Abstract
Introduction/Objective
Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations are common in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). EGFR exon 20 insertions (EGFRex20ins), a rare subset of EGFR mutations, are refractory to tyrosine kinase inhibitors. With the development of targeted therapies for EGFRex20ins, such as mobocertinib, molecular testing is required to optimize treatment. A better understanding of real-world EGFR detection patterns is needed to maximize patient outcomes.
Methods/Case Report
This retrospective study describes EGFR testing and EGFRex20ins detection patterns in patients with NSCLC in the United States. The Flatiron Health electronic health record database was used to identify patients ≥18 years, with advanced NSCLC, and with ≥2 clinic visits between 01/01/2011 and 12/31/2020. Baseline demographics, clinical characteristics, EGFR testing, and EGFRex20ins detection rates by sex, race, and smoking history were summarized.

A total of 67,281 patients with NSCLC were identified. EGFR testing increased from 44% in 2011 to 77% in 2020. Of all patients, 44,926 (66.8%) were tested: 50.8% female; 3.3% Asian; 16.0% never-smokers. Of all patients, 22,355 (33.2%) were not tested: 41.4% female; 1.2% Asian; 7.5% never-smokers. Of those tested, 6,245 (13.9%) patients had EGFR mutations: 65.9% female; 11.8% Asian; 48.4% never-smokers.
EGFRex20ins detection rates changed from 0.6% in 2011 to 1.0% in 2019 and 0.7% in 2020. Of those tested, 304 patients had EGFRex20ins: 58.2% female; 8.2% Asian; 50.3% never-smokers. EGFR testing was higher in females (71.2%) than males (62.8%), never-smokers (84.5%) than those with a smoking history (64.6%), and Asian patients (84.2%) than White (66.6%), Black (65.4%), or other patients (69.5%). Of those tested, EGFRex20ins mutations were detected in 0.8% of females (males: 0.6%), 2.2% of never-smokers (with smoking history: 0.4%), and 1.7% of Asians (White: 0.6%, Black: 0.6%, other patients: 0.7%) had EGFRex20ins. A similar trend was observed for EGFR mutations with higher proportions of females, never-smokers, and Asian patients affected.
Conclusion
EGFR testing and EGFRex20ins detection rates have increased. However, not all patient subgroups were tested at the same rate and undertesting occurred in all subgroups. Further education of specialists diagnosing NSCLC is warranted to ensure all patients receive biomarker testing and benefit from emerging EGFRex20ins- targeted therapies.

Abstract
We report on the electrostatic trapping of neutral SrF molecules. The molecules are captured from a cryogenic buffer-gas beam source into the moving traps of a 4.5-m-long traveling-wave Stark decelerator. The SrF molecules in X^{2}Σ^{+}(v=0,N=1) state are brought to rest as the velocity of the moving traps is gradually reduced from 190 m/s to zero. The molecules are held for up to 50 ms in multiple electric traps of the decelerator. The trapped packets have a volume (FWHM) of 1 mm^{3} and a velocity spread of 5(1) m/s, which corresponds to a temperature of 60(20) mK. Our result demonstrates a factor 3 increase in the molecular mass that has been Stark decelerated and trapped. Heavy molecules (mass>100 amu) offer a highly increased sensitivity to probe physics beyond the standard model. This work significantly extends the species of neutral molecules of which slow beams can be created for collision studies, precision measurement, and trapping experiments.

Abstract
Presented here is the stepwise and one-pot synthesis of a dipyridazinamethyrin, 1. In either synthetic route, a proper metal cation template was found necessary. 1H NMR and UV-Vis absorption studies suggest this macrocycle exhibits a non-aromatic nature. DFT calculations suggest that the optimized structure of this macrocycle is slightly ruffled rather than planar.

Abstract
Precise gene regulation is critical during embryo development. Long terminal repeat elements (LTRs) of endogenous retroviruses (ERVs) are dynamically expressed in blastocysts of mammalian embryos. However, the expression pattern of LTRs in monkey blastocyst is still unknown. By single-cell RNA-sequencing (seq) data of cynomolgus monkeys, we found that LTRs of several ERV families, including MacERV6, MacERV3, MacERV2, MacERVK1, and MacERVK2, were highly expressed in pre-implantation embryo cells including epiblast (EPI), trophectoderm (TrB), and primitive endoderm (PrE), but were depleted in post-implantation. We knocked down MacERV6-LTR1a in cynomolgus monkeys with a short hairpin RNA (shRNA) strategy to examine the potential function of MacERV6-LTR1a in the early development of monkey embryos. The silence of MacERV6-LTR1a mainly postpones the differentiation of TrB, EPI, and PrE cells in embryos at day 7 compared to control. Moreover, we confirmed MacERV6-LTR1a could recruit Estrogen Related Receptor Beta (ESRRB), which plays an important role in the maintenance of self-renewal and pluripotency of embryonic and trophoblast stem cells through different signaling pathways including FGF and Wnt signaling pathways. In summary, these results suggest that MacERV6-LTR1a is involved in gene regulation of the pre-implantation embryo of the cynomolgus monkeys.

Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the association between different body composition features with prognostic outcomes of intermediate stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients treated with transarterial chemoembolization (TACE). Methods: The areas and density of skeletal muscle area (SM) and adipose tissue [subcutaneous (SAT); visceral (VAT)] were calculated on the pre-TACE CT scans. Overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) curves were calculated using the Kaplan-Meier method and compared with log-rank test. The discrimination and performance of body composition features were measured by area under time-dependent receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazard analyses were applied to identify the association between body composition parameters and outcomes. Results: A significant prolonged OS and PFS was displayed by Kaplan-Meier curve analysis for HCC patients with VAT HU below -89.1 (25.1 months, 95% CI: 18.1-32.1 vs. 17.6 months, 95% CI: 16.3-18.8, p < 0.0001, 15.4 months, 95% CI: 10.6-20.2 vs. 6.6 months, 95% CI: 4.9-8.3, p < 0.0001, respectively). The 1-, 2-, 3-, and 5-year OS area under the curve (AUC) values of the VAT HU were higher than the other body composition parameters. Meanwhile, it is also found that 3-, 6-, 9-, and 12-month PFS AUC values of VAT HU were the highest among all the parameters. Univariate and multivariate Cox-regression analysis suggested a significant association between VAT density and outcomes (OS, HR: 1.015, 95% CI: 1.004-1.025, p = 0.005, PFS, HR: 1.026, 95% CI: 1.016-1.036, p < 0.0001, respectively). Conclusion: The VAT density could provide prognostic prediction value and may be helpful to stratify the intermediate stage HCC patients.

Abstract
Bladder cancer is the ninth most diagnosed cancer in the world. This study aims to investigate the role and mechanisms of the taurine-upregulated gene 1 (TUG1)/miR-140-3p/annexin A8 (ANXA8) axis in bladder cancer. Western blotting and qRT-PCR determined the expression levels of ANXA8, miR-140-3p, TUG1, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) markers. RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP), luciferase assay, and RNA pull-down assay validated the association among ANXA8, miR-140-3p, and TUG1. The biological functions were determined by colony formation, Annexin V-fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)/propidium (PI) staining, and transwell assays. Xenograft tumorigenesis detected tumor growth and metastasis in vivo. Pathological analysis was examined by hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyses. ANXA8 was elevated in bladder tumors and cells. Knockdown of ANXA8 suppressed cell growth, migration, invasion, and EMT in UMUC-3 and T24 cells. ANXA8 was determined as a miR-140-3p target gene. Overexpression of miR-140-3p suppressed cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and EMT via targeting ANXA8. TUG1 promoted ANXA8 expression via sponging miR-140-3p. Silencing of miR-140-3p or ANXA8 overexpression abrogated the tumor-suppressive effects of TUG1 silencing on bladder cancer cell growth and metastasis. The TUG1/miR-140-3p/ANXA8 axis was also implicated in tumor growth and lung metastasis in vivo. TUG1 promotes bladder cancer progression and metastasis through activating ANXA8 by sponging miR-140-3p, which sheds light on the mechanisms of bladder cancer pathogenesis.

Abstract
Although patients with early localized prostate cancer can survive longer, castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) has gradually emerged with the use of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT). N-Myc and TEM8 play a vital role in the progression of several cancer types. However, the underlying mechanism of how N-Myc and TEM8 promote the progression of prostate cancer remains unclear. In this study, the expression of N-Myc and TEM8 was detected in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer (PCa) tissues by immunohistochemistry (IHC). LNCaP cell lines were maintained in RPMI 1640 medium supplemented with 10% charcoal-stripped fetal bovine serum. Subsequently, R language software was used to verify our results. Tubule formation assay of human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) was conducted to examine the effect of N-Myc and TEM8 overexpression on angiogenesis in prostate cancer cells. IHC results showed a positive correlation between the expression of N-Myc and TEM8 in prostate cancer tissues. Further analysis showed that N-Myc and TEM8 were associated with clinicopathological features and poor prognosis in prostate cancer patients. Moreover, the overexpression of N-Myc and TEM8 promoted proliferation of prostate cancer cells and angiogenesis. Additionally, N-Myc and TEM8 overexpression was associated with therapeutic resistance. We further found that N-Myc promoted angiogenesis and therapeutic resistance in prostate cancer via TEM8. Hence, targeting N-Myc/TEM8 pathway in prostate cancer would be a novel therapeutic strategy to enhance the treatment of prostate cancer patients.

Abstract
The development and design of clean and efficient water splitting photocatalysts is important for the current situation of energy shortage and environmental pollution. A new type of isomorphic GaSe/InS heterostructure is constructed, and the optoelectronic properties were studied through first-principles calculations. The results show that GaSe/InS vdW heterostructure is a type II semiconductor with a band gap of 2.09 eV. However, through the analysis of the energy band edge position and Gibbs free energy change of water splitting, it is found that the GaSe/InS heterostructure is difficult to undergo overall water splitting. Therefore, nonmetallic element P doping is considered, the established P-doped GaSe/InS (P-GaSe/InS) heterostructure could maintain the type II band arrangement, and under acidic conditions, P-GaSe/InS heterostructure could spontaneously undergo overall water splitting thermodynamically. Furthermore, the low exciton binding energy of P-GaSe/InS heterostructure highlights better light absorption performance. Therefore, these findings indicate that P-GaSe/InS heterostructure is a promising photocatalyst in overall water splitting.

Abstract
Background Bioabsorbable interference screws and metallic interference screws are both widely used for graft fixation, but it remains unclear which screw type is superior. Purpose To compare clinical outcomes and complications between bioabsorbable and metallic interference screws for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). Study Design Systematic review; Level of evidence, 1. Methods The literature was searched for relevant randomized controlled trials published between 1966 and 2020. Two investigators independently assessed risk of bias in the included studies, and data were pooled to calculate mean differences (MDs) for continuous outcomes and risk ratios (RRs) for dichotomous outcomes, together with 95% CIs. Meta-analysis was performed using a random- or fixed-effects model, depending on the heterogeneity in the data. Results Included were 14 randomized controlled trials involving 1032 patients who underwent ACLR: 528 patients with bioabsorbable screws and 504 patients with metallic screws. The 2 groups did not differ significantly in International Knee Documentation Committee score (RR, 1.04; 95% CI, 0.97 to 1.11), Lysholm score (MD, 0.59; 95% CI, -0.46 to 1.63), range of motion deficit (RR, 0.95; 95% CI, 0.67 to 1.34), positive pivot-shift test (RR, 0.87; 95% CI, 0.61 to 1.24), positive Lachman test (RR, 0.82; 95% CI, 0.48 to 1.39), or KT-1000 arthrometer value (MD, 0.01; 95% CI, -0.16 to 0.18). However, bioabsorbable screws were associated with a significantly higher risk of complications (RR, 1.70; 95% CI, 1.16 to 2.50), such as graft rupture, joint effusion, and infection. Conclusion The results of this review showed that there was no difference between metallic and bioabsorbable screws for ACLR in terms of subjective knee function or knee laxity, but metallic interference screws had fewer complications.

Abstract
Objective: To discuss the influence of different computed tomography (CT) value assignment methods on dose calculation of intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) plan which designed for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) and the value assignment methods of IMRT plan for NPC based on magnetic resonance (MR) images. Methods: Simulation CT and MR image of 32 NPC patients in Shandong Cancer Hospital from March 2018 to November 2018 were selected for this study. Populate CT values were obtained by contouring and analyzing the simulation CT of patients' tissue, including bone, air, brain, eyeball, optic-nerve, lens, parotid, masseter, skin. Pseudo-CT were generated by different CT value assignment methods: CT1: CT value of all tissues was set to 0HU; CT2: CT value of air cavity was set to populate CT value based on CT1; CT3: CT value of Bone was set to populate CT value based on CT2; CT4: CT value of each soft tissue were set to populate CT value based on CT3. The IMRT plan for NPC as Plan0 was designed base on simulation CT. Then Plan0 was transplanted to four pseudo-CT to recalculate the dose and obtain Plan1, Plan2, Plan3 and Plan4, the differences of dosimetric parameters were compared with Plan0. NPC-IMRT plan was designed base on MR images by using the assignment method with CT value of each tissue were set to populate CT value. Results: In the head and neck CT images, the average populate CT values of bone and cavity were 621 HU and -720 HU, respectively. The populate CT values of other soft tissue ranges from -20 HU to 70 HU. The differences of dosimetric indexes of Plan1, Plan2, Plan3, Plan4 decreased sequentially compare to Plan0, the difference of the dosimetry parameters of Plan4 and Plan0 was the smallest. The differences of PTV D(99), PTV D(95), isocenter dose, D(mean) of all tissues, D(max) of bilateral eye balls, D(max) of bilateral lens, D(max) of bilateral optic nerves, D(mean) of bilateral parotid, V(20) of bilateral parotid, D(50) of bilateral parotid, D(max) of spinal cord, D(max) of brainstem, D(5) of brainstem between Plan4 and Plan0 were all less than 1%. The difference of V(30) in bilateral parotid between Plan4 and Plan0 was less than 1.5%. In the comparison of the pixel dose distribution, the regions of dose distribution difference greater than 1% mainly distributed in the air cavity, bone periphery and the skin. The target area of the IMRT plan for NPC based on MR images met 95% of the prescribed dose, and the dose of each organ at risk was within the dose limit. Conclusions: The assignment method of each tissue and organs set to populate CT value compared with other methods has the least influence on the dose calculation of NPC-IMRT plan, which could meet the clinical requirements. Therefore, it should be the first choice of assignment method when designing NPC-IMRT plan based on MR image.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the serratus anterior plane block combined with pectoral nerves block I can produce a non-inferior analgesic effect compared with thoracic paravertebral block for radical mastectomy. Methods: From October 2020 to February 2021, Sixty-four patients of Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University scheduled for radical mastectomy with general anesthesia,were divided into two groups (n = 32 each) using a random number table method: thoracic paravertebral block group (TPVB group) and serratus anterior plane block combined with pectoral nerves block I group (S&P group). All patients received patient controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) postoperatively. The numerical rating scale (NRS) at post anesthesia care unit (PACU), 4, 8, 12, 24, 48 h after operation were compared between the two groups. Sufentanil cumulative dosage of PCIA in 24 h and 48 h, first press time after operation, total press times, the dosage of propofol, remifentanil and vasoactive drugs during operation, intraoperative blood pressure and heart rate, the operation time of block and adverse effects were all compared. Non-inferiority could be claimed if the difference of sufentanil cumulative dosage in 24 h between S&P group and TPVB group is higher than the negative value (-3.8) of the non-inferiority effect. Results: There was no significant difference in postoperative NRS at PACU, 4, 8, 12, 24, 48 h after operation, first press time after operation, total press times, propofol and remifentanil dosage, sufentanil cumulative dosage of PCIA in 24 h and 48 h, and adverse effects (all P>0.05). The sufentanil cumulative dosage of PCIA in 24 h of S&P group and of TPVB group were (15.8±4.7) μg and (15.2±3.2) μg. The 95% confidence interval (CI) of the difference between S&P group and of TPVB group was -1.478 to 2.694, and the lower limit was greater than non-inferiority margin -3.8. The mean arterial pressure of TPVB patients after induction and at the beginning of the operation were (63±7) mmHg and (70±7) mmHg, which were significantly lower than the (77±5) mmHg and (79±8) mmHg at the same time in the combination group (both P<0.05). The frequency of vasoactive drugs usage in TPVB group was 56.3%, which was statistically significant higher than the 18.8% in S&P group (P<0.01). Nerve block time in TPVB group was 10 (9, 11) min, which was significantly longer than 8 (6, 10) min in S&P group (P<0.01). Conclusion: The serratus anterior block combined with pectoral nerves block I can produce a non-inferior analgesic effect compared with thoracic paravertebral block for radical mastectomy, and the intraoperative hemodynamics is more stable and the block time is shorter than that of thoracic paravertebral block for radical mastectomy.

Abstract
Cold atmospheric pressure plasmas (CAPPs) have been widely used for pre-sowing treatment in agriculture to accelerate seed germination; however, information on their application to pre-transplant seedlings is scarce. The roles of the phytohormone abscisic acid (ABA) on guard cell aperture that control air exchange with the environment were investigated after CAPPs treatment. In this study, Arabidopsis thaliana seedling growth was evaluated under CAPPs treatment at different doses. Besides, the optimal growth stimulation dose was selected to further evaluate changes in ABA, ROS, Ca2+ and stomatal aperture during growth .The expression of most ABA signalling genes were aslo examined to investigate the mechanism. CAPPs treatment for 1 min significantly promoted Arabidopsis seedling growth; the ABA concentration in seedlings increased and peaked 48 h after treatment but was lower than in the control after 96 h. Transcript levels of most ABA signalling genes were markedly enhanced at 48 h, although their transcripts were significantly downregulated after 96 h. CAPPs treatment also reduced stomatal aperture after 24 h and accelerated ROS accumulation in guard cells. The Ca2+ concentration in the treatment group was markedly higher than in the control at 24 and 96 h. The results suggest that CAPPs treatment accelerates ABA accumulation in Arabidopsis at early growth stages and ABA regulates ROS and Ca2+ concentrations to affect stomatal aperture, and both ABA and stoma size are affected in CAPPs stimulation of Arabidopsis seedling growth.

Abstract
UNLABELLED This study investigated the efficacy of annual zoledronic acid (ZOL) administration against previously treated recompression vertebral fractures (RVF) and new vertebral fractures (NVF) in initial percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP) patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCF) over a 3-year follow-up period. INTRODUCTION Although PKP achieves a satisfactory outcome, previously treated RVF and NVF can limit its effectiveness. The annual infusion of ZOL over 3 years can improve fracture protection, particularly in the vertebrae. We hypothesized that ZOL can reduce the incidence of RVFs and/or NVFs, and improve the clinical outcomes of PKP. METHODS This was a placebo-controlled, double-blind prospective trial of 154 PKP patients (mean age: 70 years) with OVCFs. Patients were randomly assigned to receive a single infusion of ZOL (5 mg) or placebo (78 ZOL vs. 76 placebo) at 1 week, 12 months, and 24 months after surgery. Patients were followed-up for 36 months. RESULTS ZOL treatment lowered the risk of RVF by ~ 65% over the 36-month period when compared to placebo controls (6.41% in ZOL vs. 18.42% in placebo groups; relative risk, 0.35; 95% CI, 0.13 to 0.92). ZOL also reduced the risk of NVF by ~ 73% (3.85% in ZOL vs. 14.47% in placebo groups; relative risk, 0.27; 95% CI, 0.08 to 0.92). ZOL also significantly reduced the vertebral height lost rate (HLR) at 12, 24, and 36 months. ZOL also improved the visual analog scale (VAS), Oswestry disability index (ODI) scores, and bone mineral density (BMD). CONCLUSION Annual ZOL administration significantly lowers the risk of RVFs and NVFs, improving the clinical outcome of initial PKP in patients with OVCFs over a 3-year follow-up period. Abstract
BACKGROUND More and more studies have shown that long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) plays an important role in lung cancer. Therefore, we analyzed the RNA expression profiles of 82 lung cancer patients which were all from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO). METHODS Firstly, we used BLASTN (evalue = 1e-10) to annotate the gene sets, performed in-group correction and batched normalization of the three data sets with R. Secondly, we used the limma and sva packages to compare tumor tissues with normal tissues. Then through WGCNA, we obtained the 4 gene modules most related to the trait. RESULTS We intersected the genes of above 4 modules with the differential expression genes: 28 LncRNAs (up: 5, down: 23) and 265 mRNAs (up:11, down: 254). Based on these genes, we picked up 6 LncRNAs (CCDC39, FAM182A, SRGAP3-AS2, ADAMTS9-AS2, AC020907.2, SFTA1P), then set and visualized the LncRNA-miRNA-mRNA ceRNA network with 12 miRNAs related to 12 mRNAs. Finally, we performed downstream analysis of 265 mRNAs by Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analysis and Protein-Protein Interaction (PPI) network. CONCLUSION After analyzing, we think this study provides a new direction for basic and clinical research related to LAD, and is expected to provide new targets for early diagnosis, prognostic evaluation and clinical treatment of lung cancer.

Abstract
PURPOSE To compare the safety and efficacy of integrated iodine-125 (I-125) seed implantation (sequential implantation of helical I-125 seed implant into the main portal vein and of I-125 seeds into the branch tumor thrombus directly forming main portal vein tumor thrombus (MPVTT)) combined with transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) versus TACE alone for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with MPVTT. MATERIALS AND METHODS From December 2016 to January 2020, 46 HCC patients with MPVTT were analyzed. In the combination group, 21 patients received helical I-125 seed implantation in the main portal vein through a patent small portal vein branch and TACE in a single session. After 7-10 days, I-125 seeds were implanted percutaneously into the branch tumor thrombus directly forming MPVTT. In the TACE group, 25 patients received TACE alone. Thereafter, TACE was repeated as needed in both groups. Adverse events, tumor response, and overall survival (OS) of the two groups were compared. RESULTS No adverse events grade ≥ 3 were observed in either group. The optimal objective response rate and disease control rate for MPVTT in the combination group and TACE group were 52.4% versus 4.0% (P < 0.001) and 85.7% versus 32.0% (P < 0.001), respectively. Median OS in the combination group (9.8 months) was longer than in the TACE group (5.2 months) (P = 0.024). Multivariate analysis revealed that, compared with the TACE group, the mortality risk in the combination group significantly decreased (hazard ratio: 0.444; P = 0.020). CONCLUSION Integrated I-125 seed implantation combined with TACE is a safe and effective treatment for HCC with MPVTT. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE Level 3, Non-randomized controlled cohort/follow-up study.

Abstract
High-grain non-pelleted (HG) and high-grain pelleted (HP) diets are becoming prevalent for ruminant feeding in intensive farms. However, rare information is about their effect on sheep and the comparison between these two kinds of diets. The current study investigated how HG and HP diets affected the transcriptome profiles of rumen epithelium in Hu-lamb. Fifteen male Hu-lambs were assigned randomly to three groups (n = 5 for each group). Lambs in the control (CON), HG, and HP groups were fed with low-grain non-pelleted diet (30% grain), HG diet (70% grain), and HP diet (70% grain), respectively, for 42 days. All these lambs were slaughtered to collect ruminal epithelium samples for transcriptome analysis. Results showed both HG and HP diets obviously changed the transcriptome profiles, and 192, 319, and three differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified for CON_HG, CON_HP, and HG_HP comparisons, respectively. Clusters of orthologous group functional classification of CON_HG and CON_HP DEG datasets both showed the enrichments of DEGs in pathways involved in protein biogenesis and modification as well as energy production and conversion. Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes pathway analysis of CON_HG and CON_HP DEG datasets both displayed the enrichments of DEGs in ribosome and oxidative phosphorylation. Almost all these DEGs involved in translation and ribosomal structure and biogenesis as well as oxidative phosphorylation were downregulated in the HG and HP groups compared to the CON group. Furthermore, CON_HP comparison demonstrated more DEGs related to these two pathways than CON_HG comparison. In conclusion, both HG and HP diets inhibited energy production and conversion as well as protein synthesis and modification in ruminal epithelium. HP diet showed lower growth benefits, induced severer rumen acidosis, and more seriously inhibited energy production and protein synthesis as compared to HG diet.

Abstract
With the aggravation of environmental pollution and the energy crisis, it is particularly important to develop and design environment-friendly and efficient spontaneous enhanced visible-light-driven photocatalysts for water splitting. Herein novel type-II van der Waals (vdW) GaSe/CN and Ga2SSe/CN heterostructures are proposed through first-principles calculations. Their electronic properties and photocatalytic performance are theoretically analyzed. In particular, their appropriate band gap and band-edge position meet the requirements of the oxygen evolution reaction, and the reaction is thermodynamically feasible in most pH ranges. The unique band alignment of these heterostructured photocatalysts leads to high solar-to-hydrogen energy conversion efficiencies up to 15.11%, which has a good commercial application prospect. More excitingly, with the application of 2% biaxial strain, the smooth progress of the water-splitting reaction of the GaSe/CN and Ga2SSe/CN heterostructures can still be maintained, and the carrier mobility and optical absorption characteristics can be effectively improved. Consequently, these findings suggest that the GaSe/CN and Ga2SSe/CN vdW heterostructures have promising potentials as photocatalysts for water splitting. This work may provide a promising clue for the design of efficient and stable photocatalytic water-splitting catalysts under visible spectroscopy.

Abstract
Mn alloying in thermoelectrics is a long-standing strategy for enhancing their figure-of-merit through optimizing electronic transport properties by band convergence, valley perturbation, or spin-orbital coupling. By contrast, mechanisms by which Mn contributes to suppressing thermal transports, namely thermal conductivity, is still ambiguous. A few precedent studies indicate that Mn introduces a series of hierarchical defects from the nano- to meso-scale, leading to effective phonon scattering scoping a wide frequency spectrum. Due to insufficient insights at the atomic level, the theory remains as phenomenological and cannot be used to quantitatively predict the thermal conductivity of Mn-alloyed thermoelectrics. Herein, by choosing the SnTe as a case study, aberration-corrected transmission electron microscopy (TEM)/scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) to characterize the lattice complexity of Sn1.02- x Mnx Te is employed. Mn as a "dynamic" dopant that plays an important role in SnTe with respect to different alloying levels or post treatments is revealed. The results indicate that Mn precipitates at x = 0.08 prior to reaching solubility (≈10 mol%), and then splits into MnSn substitution and γ-MnTe hetero-phases via mechanical alloying. Understanding such unique crystallography evolution, combined with a modified Debye-Callaway model, is critical in explaining the decreased thermal conductivity of Sn1.02- x Mnx Te with rational phonon scattering pathways, which should be applicable for other thermoelectric systems.

Abstract
9098 Background: There is currently no targeted therapy approved for patients with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations (exon20ins) in NSCLC. Real world treatment outcome evidence for this rare population is limited. This study describes treatment patterns and outcomes in US patients with advanced NSCLC with EGFR exon20ins. Methods: The nationwide Flatiron Health electronic health record-derived deidentified database (cut-off 29 Feb 2020) was used to select 4 separate cohorts: (1) first-line (1L): patients receiving 1L therapy after documented exon20ins (1L start date as index date); (2) second or later line (≥2L): patients receiving ≥2L therapy after documented exon20ins (start date of ≥2L as index date); (3) ≥2L trial-aligned: ≥2L patients with baseline characteristics aligned with the key eligibility criteria of mobocertinib Trial NCT02716116 Part 3; and (4) ≥2L post platinum: ≥2L trial-aligned patients previously treated with platinum-based chemotherapy. Real-world endpoints were: confirmed overall response rate (cORR), PFS, and OS. Additional analyses were conducted for patients treated with immune-oncology therapy (IO). Results: Of 237 EGFR exon20ins patients, 129 patients were included in 1L cohort and 114 were in ≥2L cohort, including 63 ≥2L trial-aligned and 50 ≥2L post platinum patients. In 1L patients, EGFR TKI (28.7%) and platinum-based chemotherapy ± IO (56.6%) were the most common 1L regimens. In ≥2L patients, 28.1% received IO monotherapy, 17.5% received EGFR TKI, and 23.7% received platinum-based chemotherapy ± IO as index treatment. In the 1L setting, median PFS (mPFS) was 5.7 months for platinum-based chemotherapy and 4.5 months for IO + platinum-based chemotherapy. In the ≥2L setting, mPFS was 3.7 months for any therapy and 2.3 months for IO monotherapy. Full effectiveness data are provided in the accompanying table. Conclusions: This real world study provided a benchmark on the treatment outcome in patients with advanced NSCLC with EGFR exon20ins. Platinum-based chemotherapy was the most common 1L therapy and provided the longest mPFS. Immunotherapy, either as monotherapy or in combination with chemotherapy, appeared less effective for treatment of NSCLC with EGFR exon20ins. Abstract
Background Kawasaki disease (KD) is the most common cause of acquired heart disease among children in developed countries, in which the resulting coronary artery (CA) abnormalities cause myocardial ischemia, infarction, and death. Prompt diagnosis was essential, and supplemental information should be used to assist the diagnosis when classical clinical criteria are incomplete. The elevated levels of serum transaminases in most KD patients are mild. Herein, a case of atypical KD child with severely elevated transaminase was reported. Case presentation A child with clinical manifestations of fever, high C-reactive protein (CRP) and severely elevated transaminases was reported. The treatment effect of antibiotic and liver-protecting drugs was not satisfactory. A bilateral diffuse dilation of the CA was detected on echocardiography on day 5 of the illness; thus, atypical KD was diagnosed. Elevated transaminases declined rapidly to normal after the treatment of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG). A 1-month follow-up revealed that CA returned to normal, and 2-month, 6-months, and 1-year follow-up revealed the child was in good general health. Conclusions This case highlighted that atypical KD clinical symptoms were diverse, and severely elevated transaminases might provide a clue to healthcare providers for the diagnosis and management of atypical KD.

Abstract
Angiomyolipoma (AML) is apparent a part of mesenchymal tumor arising from perivascular epithelioid cell origin. AML is formed of blood vessels, spindle and epithelioid cells, and mature adipocytes. Adrenal AML is very rare. Indeed, only 21 cases of adrenal AML have been reported in the English-language literature. In these cases, patients were usually asymptomatic, and AML was often examined passingly during a health checkup or a common abdominal ultrasound (US) or a computed tomography (CT) examination for a other unrelated disease. This is a case report of adrenal AML in a 40-year-old male who presented with no clinical manifestations. Some 3 months ago, a first abdominal routine CT scan revealed a left adrenal mass. Three months later, a routine US showed a hypoechoic area of 21 mm × 15 mm in the left adrenal gland. A retroperitoneoscopic resection of the left adrenal gland tumor was then performed. A postoperative histopathology report confirmed a benign AML composed of blood vessels, smooth muscle, and mature adipose tissue. The patient was discharged without event. Due to the paucity of the literature on this subject, more clinical and imaging information about this disease is necessary for diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment. In this paper, we present a complete case report, including the clinical presentation, imaging, treatment, and conduct a review of the relevant literature.

Abstract
The outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus disease around the end of 2019 has become a pandemic. The preferred method for COVID-19 detection is the real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)-based technique; however, it also has certain limitations, such as sample-dependent procedures with a relatively high false negative ratio. We propose a safe and efficient method for screening COVID-19 based on Raman spectroscopy. A total of 177 serum samples are collected from 63 confirmed COVID-19 patients, 59 suspected cases, and 55 healthy individuals as a control group. Raman spectroscopy is adopted to analyze these samples, and a machine learning support-vector machine (SVM) method is applied to the spectrum dataset to build a diagnostic algorithm. Furthermore, 20 independent individuals, including 5 asymptomatic COVID-19 patients and 5 symptomatic COVID-19 patients, 5 suspected patients, and 5 healthy patients, were sampled for external validation. In these three groups-confirmed COVID-19, suspected, and healthy individuals-the distribution of statistically significant points of difference showed highly consistency for intergroups after repeated sampling processes. The classification accuracy between the COVID-19 cases and the suspected cases is 0.87 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.85-0.88), and the accuracy between the COVID-19 and the healthy controls is 0.90 (95% CI: 0.89-0.91), while the accuracy between the suspected cases and the healthy control group is 0.68 (95% CI: 0.67-0.73). For the independent test dataset, we apply the obtained SVM model to the classification of the independent test dataset to have all the results correctly classified. Our model showed that the serum-level classification results were all correct for independent test dataset. Our results suggest that Raman spectroscopy could be a safe and efficient technique for COVID-19 screening.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the risk factors for mortality in pediatric acute respiratory distress syndrome (PARDS) requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support. Methods: Clinical data of 109 patients with severe PARDS supported by ECMO, who were hospitalized in 6 ECMO centers in China from September 2012 to February 2020, were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into survival group and death group according to the prognosis. Chi-square test and rank sum test were used to compare the variables between the two groups, including the demographic data, laboratory examination results, clinical data before and after ECMO, and other supportive treatment. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression models were used to analyze the prognostic risk factors. Results: In these 109 cases, 54 died and 55 survived. Compared with the survival group, the death group had higher incidences of acute kidney injury (AKI) (48.1% (26/54) vs. 21.8% (12/55), χ²=8.318, P=0.004) and coagulation dysfunction (22.2% (12/54) vs. 7.3% (4/55), χ²=4.862, P=0.027), and higher rate of renal replacement therapy (48.1% (26/54) vs. 21.8% (12/55), χ²=9.694, P=0.008) during ECMO support. Logistic regression analysis showed that continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and AKI were independent risk factors for death in patients with severe PARDS requiring ECMO support (HR=3.88,95%CI 1.04-14.52, HR=4.84,95%CI 1.21-19.46, both P<0.05). Conclusion: AKI and CRRT are independent risk factors for predicting mortality in patients with severe PARDS requiring ECMO support.

Abstract
BACKGROUND We studied the occurrence of post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS) in patients with either Pharmacomechanical Catheter-Directed Thrombolysis (hereafter "pharmacomechanical thrombolysis"; PT) or Catheter-Directed Thrombolysis (CDT) for the treatment of acute iliofemoral deep vein thrombosis (DVT). METHODS This retrospective study of data archived between September 2013 and September 2015 was surveyed. Two separate patient populations were identified and analyzed: patients were separated into PT group or CDT group. For up to 5 years post-treatment, the incidence, severity of PTS, and chronic venous insufficiency questionnaire (CIVIQ) score difference were compared. RESULTS The study identified 131 patients divided into PT group (65) and CDT group (66). Within the 5-year follow-up period, there was no significant difference in the incidence of PTS (45.0% PT vs. 57.6% CDT; odds ratio (OR) = 0.602; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.291-1.242; P = 0.201), but there was reduced severe PTS in the PT group (Villalta scale ≥15 or ulcer:11.7% PT vs. 27.1% CDT; OR 0.355; 95%CI 0.134-0.941, P = 0.039; and Venous Clinical Severity Score (VCSS) ≥8: 13.3%PT vs. 28.8% CDT; OR 0.380; 95% CI 0.149-0.967, P = 0.045). There was also a larger improvement of venous disease-specific quality of life (QOL) in the PT group at 5 years [(62.89 ± 14.19) vs (56.39 ±15.62), P = 0.036] compared to the CDT group. CONCLUSION In patients with acute iliofemoral DVT treated with PT, PT significantly reduced PTS severity scores, and resulted in greater improvement in venous disease-specific QOL. However, the incidence of was not significantly different from that measured in the CDT.
