Abstract
Studies on mice have shown a relationship between dietary intake of advanced glycation end-products (dAGEs) and deterioration of musculoskeletal health, but human studies are absent. We investigated the relationship between dietary intake of carboxymethyllysine (dCML) - an AGE prototype - and risk of sarcopenia at baseline and after 5 years of follow-up and a single evaluation of physical frailty in participants from the population-based Rotterdam Study. Appendicular lean mass (ALM) was obtained using insight dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry and hand grip strength (HGS) using a hydraulic hand dynamometer. Subjects with both low ALM and weak HGS were classified as having sarcopenia. Frailty (yes/no) was defined by presence of ≥3 and pre-frailty by presence of 1 or 2 components namely, exhaustion, weakness, slowness, weight loss or low physical activity. dCML was calculated using a food frequency questionnaire and dAGE databases. Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the odds of physical frailty and prevalent sarcopenia at baseline and follow-up and incident sarcopenia. 2782 participants with an age 66.4 ± 9.9 years and dCML intake 3.3 ± 1.3 mg/day, had data on sarcopenia at both time points. Of whom 84 had sarcopenia at baseline and 73 developed sarcopenia at follow-up. We observed an association of one SD increase in dCML intake with prevalent sarcopenia at baseline [odds ratio, OR = 1.27 (1.01-1.59)] and no association of dCML with incident sarcopenia at 5-year follow-up [OR = 1.12 (0.86-1.44)]. For frailty we analyzed 3577 participants, of whom 1972 were pre-frail and 158 were frail. We observed no association of dCML with either pre-frailty [OR = 0.99 (0.91-1.07)] or frailty [OR = 1.01 (0.83-1.22)] when non-frail subjects were used as reference. Our results show an association of dAGEs with sarcopenia cross-sectionally but not longitudinally where inconclusive findings are observed possibly due to a very low incidence of sarcopenia. There was no association with frailty cross-sectionally.

Abstract
AIMS To evaluate the reporting and methodological quality of relevant systematic reviews (SRs) and meta-analyses (MAs) on Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors (DPP-4I) for Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). METHODS Relevant SRs and MAs on T2DM and DPP-4I published between 2017 and November 2021 were retrieved from PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, VIP, CNKI, CBM, and WanFang databases. Two independent reviewers performed the search, selection, and data extraction. The reporting and methodological quality of the reviewers was performed according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) and Assessing the Methodological Quality of Systematic Reviews 2 (AMSTAR 2) tools. The relationship between reporting and methodological quality score was assessed with the Spearman correlation test. RESULTS Twenty-one studies involving 151,715 participants were included in the study. This overview showed that DPP-4I was safer and more efficacious than other anti-hyperglycemic drugs (OADs) in treating T2DM. The methodological quality of one SR was low, while the rest were very low. Thus, refinements are needed in the quality of protocol and registration information, a complete search strategy, the summary of the evidence, the listing of excluded studies, assessing the potential impact of risk of bias in RCTs, and discussing the RoB on MA results, and the funding of RCTs need improvement for generating SR. In addition, the reporting and methodological quality scores were moderately correlated (rS = 0.66, P = 0.001). CONCLUSIONS DPP-4I is safer and more efficacious than OADs in treating T2DM. However, the reporting and methodological quality of the related SRs was unsatisfactory. Therefore, PRISMA and AMSTAR 2 analyses should be followed to enhance the overall quality of future SRs.

Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a highly malignant disease with poor prognosis, which is partly due to the presence of liver cancer stem cells (CSCs). CSCs participate in tumor recurrence, metastasis, and chemoresistance. However, the mechanisms underlying liver CSC regulation are unknown. In this study, we found that miR-3168 expression is increased in HCC and that it predicts poor prognosis. Functional assays showed that miR-3168 promotes HCC cells' proliferation and facilitates liver CSC self-renewal and tumorigenicity. Mechanistically, bioinformatics and the luciferase reporter assay demonstrated that miR-3168 targets the 3'UTR of the p53 mRNA. MiR-3168 expression was negatively correlated with p53 mRNA in HCC tissue samples. Rescue assays demonstrated that p53 knockdown abrogates the discrepancies in proliferation, self-renewal, and tumorigenicity between miR-3168 knockdown HCC cells and control HCC cells. Furthermore, miR-3168 expression was negatively correlated with p53 in HCC tissues. The combined HCC panels exhibited a worse prognostic value for HCC patients than any of these components alone. Moreover, miR-3168 expression was increased in cisplatin-resistant HCC cells and patient-derived xenografts. Clinical cohort analysis revealed that HCC patients with low miR-3168 levels have a superior survival rate when treated with postoperative transcatheter arterial chemoembolization compared with that of patients with high miR-3168 levels. In conclusion, our study uncovered a novel mechanism of liver CSC regulation and provided a potential therapeutic target for liver CSCs.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE We aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) for patients with gastric cancer undergoing minimally invasive surgery (MIS). METHODS We searched the PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Embase, CNKI, VIP, WanFang, and CBM for relevant RCTs from the database inception until December 2021, for studies that compared the ERAS and traditional care (TC) in MIS for gastric cancer. RESULTS A total of 25 RCTs comprising 2809 patients were included in this study. When compared with the traditional care TC group, the ERAS group had a shorter postoperative hospital stay [MD = -1.88,95%CI (-2.22, -1.55), P < 0.00001] and an earlier time at first postoperative flatus [MD = -18.12,95%CI (-21.45,-14.80), P < 0.00001] along with lower medical costs [SMD = -0.64, 95% CI (-0.85, -0.43), P < 0.00001] and an overall reduction in postoperative complication rates [RR = 0.55, 95% CI (0.44, 0.69), P < 0.00001]. However, the difference in the readmission rates was not significant. CONCLUSIONS ERAS can shorten the postoperative hospital stay, hasten the first postoperative flatus and reduce medical costs and overall postoperative complication rate without increasing readmission rates. Therefore, the ERAS protocol is preferable for gastric cancer patients undergoing MIS.

Abstract
CONSTANS/CONSTANS-like (CO/COL) transcription factors play a vital role in the photoperiodic flowering pathway. However, the biological functions of COL genes in mango are unclear. In this study, we identified 31 COL genes from the 'Jin Huang' mango genome and divided them into three groups according to the specific gene structure and protein domain characteristics. These 31 MiCOL genes were heterogeneously distributed on 14 chromosomes. Expression pattern analysis showed that most MiCOL genes were mainly expressed in leaves and stems and during the floral induction period, followed by the floral differentiation period. The expression of COL genes was induced by drought and salt stress, but the expression patterns of different genes were different, which may suggest that MiCOL genes are involved in the abiotic stress response of mango. Under salt and drought conditions, two MiCOL9 genes can improve the resistance of Arabidopsis by improving the scavenging ability of ROS and proline accumulation and reducing the MDA content. Additionally, overexpression of MiCOL9 genes significantly inhibited flowering in transgenic Arabidopsis. This work provides an important foundation for understanding the biological roles of mango COL genes in plant growth, development and stress responses.

Abstract
Objective The aim of this study was to translate the Healthy Aging Activity Engagement Scale (HAAE) into Chinese and validate its psychometric properties in the middle-aged and elderly population. Methods A total of 424 middle-aged and elderly people were recruited from China's Jiangsu Province, Liaoning Province, Shandong Province, and Heilongjiang Province. Cronbach's α co-efficient, split-half reliability, and test-retest reliability were used to evaluate the reliability of the translated scale. Expert consultation was used to evaluate the content validity of the translated scale. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used to evaluate the structural validity of the scale. Results The Cronbach's α co-efficient of the Chinese version of HAAE was 0.965 and the Cronbach's α co-efficient of the dimensions ranged from 0.898 to 0.957. The split-half reliability was 0.807, and the test-retest reliability was 0.850. The content validity index of the scale (S-CVI) was 0.969. A total of three common factors were extracted from the EFA. The CFA validated the explored 3-factor structure, and the indicators were fitted well (χ2/df = 1.393, comparative fit index = 0.982, goodness- of- fit index = 0.911. Tucker-Lewis Index = 0.981 and root mean square error of approximation = 0.030). Conclusion The translated Chinese version of HAAE had suitable reliability and validity in the middle-aged and elderly population. The translated scale will be used to evaluate the level of healthy aging among middle-aged and elderly people in Chinese mainland. Furthermore, it also can provide some health advice for clinical patients.

Abstract
Background: SNGH14 is a newly discovered long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) highly associated with tumorigenesis. However, whether the level of SNHG14 is related to the prognosis of patients with different cancer types is unclear. Methods: PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and Embase were searched to identify eligible studies from inception to November 2021. The odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) were utilized to analyze dichotomous variables, while the hazard ratio (HR) and 95% CI were used for survival outcomes. We also included trial sequential analysis (TSA) to assess whether the current evidence was sufficiently conclusive. Stata 15.0 and TSA 0.9 software were used for data analyses. Results: A total of 21 studies involving 1,080 patients, mainly from China, were included. Our results revealed that high SNHG14 expression was associated significantly with poor overall survival (OS) [HR = 1.39; 95% CI: (1.06–1.83); p = 0.017]. In addition, elevated SNHG14 expression was related to tumor size (> 3.5 cm) [OR = 1.60; 95% CI: (1.20–2.14); p = 0.001], TNM staging [OR = 0.54; 95% CI: (0.40–0.71); p < 0.001], lymph node metastasis [OR = 1.86; 95% CI: (1.35–2.55); p < 0.001], differentiation grade [OR = 1.95; 95% CI: (1.36–2.80); p < 0.001], and distant metastasis [OR = 2.44; 95% CI: (1.30–4.58); p = 0.005]. However, no significant difference was observed between age [OR = 0.98; 95% CI: (0.72–1.35); p = 0.915] and gender [OR = 0.98; 95% CI: (0.72–1.35); p = 0.915] from the enhanced expression of SNHG14. Conclusion: The current study revealed that overexpression of SNGH14 is associated with low OS rate and clinicopathological characteristics. SNGH14 can be a novel tumor marker that aids in tumor diagnosis, thereby improving patient prognosis.

Abstract
Background Telemedicine based on wearable intelligent health devices becomes increasingly promissing for the elderly due to the accelerated aging population. Especially during COVID-19 pandemic, more elderly coronary heart disease patients with chronic comorbidities are in less secondary prevention management at home. Objective To explore the prevention effect on main cardiovascular risk factors and repeated hospitalization in elderly comorbidities patients by telemedicine intervention based on multi-parameter wearable monitoring devices. Methods Total of 337 patients with comorbidities of coronary heart disease, hypertension and diabetes, with age more than 65 years old were recruited in the study from October 2019 to January 2021. They were randomly divided into control group and telemedcine intervention group. The latter used remote multi-parameter wearable devices to measure blood pressure, glycemic and electrocardiograph at home every day. A real-time monitoring platform would alarm any abnormal data to the doctors. Both doctors and patients can read the measurement results on a real-time mobile phone APP and interact with each other remotely twice a week routinely. A medical team remotely indicated the medications, while offering guidance on lifestyle. In contrast, the control group adopted traditional outpatient medical strategy to manage diseases. Results A total of 306 patients were enrolled in the follow-up experiment finally: 153 in the intervention group and 153 in the control group. Patient characteristics at baseline were balanced between two groups. After 12 months, compared with the control group, the intervention group saw the following metrics significantly reduced: systolic blood pressure (SBP) (131.66±9.43 vs 137.20±12.02 mmHg, P=0.000), total cholesterol (TC) (3.65±0.79 vs 4.08±0.82 mmol/L, P=0.001), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) (2.06±0.53 vs 2.38±0.61 mmol/L, P=0.002), and fasting blood glucose (FBG) (6.26±0.75 vs 6.81±0.97 mmol/L, P=0.000), while the following metrics went up significantly: blood pressure control rate (77.3% vs 59.1%, P=0.039), blood lipid control rate(39.4% vs 21.2%, P=0.037), glycemic control rate (71.2% vs 51.5%, P=0.031), and medication adherence score (7.10±0.77 vs 6.80±0.73, P=0.020). Linear regression model analysis indicates that when interaction frequency ≥1.53, 2.47 and 1.15 times/week, the SBP, LDL-C and FBG levels would be controlled, respectively. Cox survival analysis finds that the hospitalization rate of intervention group is significantly lower than that of the control group (24.18% vs 35.29%, P=0.031). Conclusion The telemedicine interactive intervention based on multi-parameter wearable devices provides effectively improvement of cardiovascular risk controlling, medication adherence, while reducing the hospitalization rate of patients. A frequency of doctor-patient interactions more than 2 times/week is beneficial for disease management the elderly at home. Funding Acknowledgement Type of funding sources: Foundation. Abstract
Background In recent years, the pleiotropic roles of antioxidants have drawn extensive attention in various diseases. Vitamin C is a well-known antioxidant, and it has been used to treat patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This systematic review and meta-analysis aim to demonstrate the impact of vitamin C supplementation in patients with COPD. Methods We searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), SinoMed, Wanfang, and China Science and Technology Journal Database (cqvip.com) for eligible randomized controlled trials (RCTs) from their respective inception to May 18th, 2021, by using the searching terms of COPD, vitamin C, and RCTs. A meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the effects of vitamin C on lung function, antioxidant levels, and nutritional conditions in COPD patients by using Review Manager (Version 5.4). Results Ten RCTs including 487 participants were eligible for our study. Meta-analysis results showed that vitamin C supplementation (≥400 mg/day) can significantly improve the forced expiratory volume in one second as a percentage (FEV1%) in COPD (SMD:1.08, 95% CI:0.03, 2.12, P=0.04). Moreover, vitamin C supplementation significantly improved the ratio of forced expiratory volume in 1 second and forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) (WMD:0.66, 95% CI: 0.26, 1.06, P=0.001), vitamin C level in serum (SMD:0.63, 95% CI: 0.02, 1.24, P=0.04) and glutathione (GSH) level in serum (SMD:2.47, 95% CI: 1.06, 3.89, P=0.0006). While no statistically significant difference was observed in body mass index (BMI), fat-free mass index (FFMI), vitamin E level and superoxide dismutase (SOD) level in serum. Conclusion Vitamin C supplementation could increase the levels of antioxidation in serum (vitamin C and GSH) and improve lung function (FEV1% and FEV1/FVC), especially in patients treated with vitamin C supplementation greater than 400 mg/day. However, further prospective studies are needed to explore the role of vitamin C in improving nutritional status.

Abstract
BACKGROUND After abdominoperineal resection, low anterior resection, and end colostomy for lower rectal cancer, it is necessary to reconstruct the pelvic peritoneum to avoid small bowel obstruction, perineal hernia, and radiation enteritis in patients for whom postoperative radiotherapy is planned. However, pelvic peritoneal closure is technically difficult in patients who lack enough peritoneum to cover the defect or have received neoadjuvant radiation and have a rigid pelvis. IMPACT OF INNOVATION The impact of this innovation is to reconstruct the pelvic peritoneum with the distal ileal mesentery laparoscopically. TECHNOLOGY, MATERIALS AND METHODS After removal of the tumor, the distal ileal mesentery was selected to completely cover the defect. Subsequently, suturing of the ileal mesentery to the posterior wall of the urinary bladder and all sides of the pelvic cavity was performed. Finally, the patients were returned to the headfirst supine position to ensure that there was no small bowel falling into the pelvic dead space. PRELIMINARY RESULTS All surgical procedures were successfully performed laparoscopically from January 2019 to April 2021. No perineal complications or intestinal obstructions occurred during the follow-up period. CONCLUSIONS AND FUTURE DIRECTIONS This novel technique was found to be safe and effective. Moreover, it provided an economical method for the reconstruction of the pelvic peritoneum using autologous material, which could preserve the small intestine in the abdomen to avoid related complications. Additional larger series of patients with longer follow-up are needed to validate the safety and feasibility of this method.

Abstract
Purpose: To determine the role and mechanisms of Krüppel-like transcription factor 8 (KLF8) in acute myeloid leukemia (AML).Methods: The transcriptional and translational levels of KLF8 in AML cell lines were determined by quantitative real time-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and western blotting. Two RNAs targeting KLF8 were transfected into KG-1 and HL-60 cells. The growth and apoptosis of AML cells were determined using CCK-8, 5-ethynyl-2-deoxyuridine (EdU), flow cytometry, and western blot assays. Glycolysis was evaluated by relative glucose consumption, lactate generation, ATP levels, and hexokinase II (HK2), while glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1) protein expression levels. AKT, phosphorylated AKT (p-AKT), mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), and p-mTOR expression levels were assessed by western blot.Results: KLF8 mRNA and protein expression levels were elevated in AML cells (p < 0.01). KLF8 knockdown in AML cells decreased cell viability, EdU-positivity, relative glucose consumption, lactate generation, ATP levels, and HK2 and GLUT1 protein levels (p < 0.01). Apoptosis increased in KG-1 and HL-60 cells, with enhanced Bax and reduced Bcl-2 protein levels, after transfection with sh-KLF8. The relative expression levels of p-AKT/AKT and p-mTOR/mTOR were reduced in KG-1 and HL-60 cells transfected with sh-KLF8.Conclusion: Downregulation of KLF8 inhibits proliferation and glycolysis, and also promotes apoptosis in AML cells via AKT/mTOR pathway.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study aimed to evaluate the safety and therapeutic effect of Robot-assisted surgery (RAS) for choledochal cysts (CCs) excisions. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CNKI, WanFang, VIP, and CBM were searched from database inception to 1 May 2022. The Newcastle-Ottawa scale (NOS) was used to conduct quality assessments, and RevMan (Version 5.4) was used to perform the meta-analysis. RESULTS In all, 9 studies, involving 623 patients, were analyzed. RAS compared with LAS was associated with less intraoperative blood loss, shorter time to start solid diets, shorter postoperative hospital stay, and lower complications. There was no significant difference in operative time between the two groups, but the total costs were higher in RAS. Our subgroup analysis showed that RAS had significant advantages over LAS in the child group: minor bleeding, shorter length of hospital stay, and fewer postoperative complications. CONCLUSIONS The available evidence indicates that the RAS system has the advantages of less intraoperative blood loss, minor tissue damage, quick recovery, and sound healing in treating choledochal cyst, which proves that the RAS is safely feasible. Especially in children, RAS tends to be a better choice.

Abstract
Primary hepatic neuroendocrine carcinoma (PHNEC) manifests as a rare type of liver tumor. PHNEC is not specifically clinical or radiographical and is often misdiagnosed and mistreated. Here, we present a case report of PHNEC in a 50-year-old woman who was admitted to our department with concealed pain in the right upper abdomen. The initial diagnosis was a probable hepatic space-occupying lesion with tumor bleeding. The patient was subjected to a partial right hemihepatectomy, cholecystectomy, partial resection of the lower lobe of the right lung, partial resection of the diaphragm, and resection of the right perirenal fat sac to alleviate her symptoms. After surgery, gene sequencing was performed to determine the possible cause of the condition. However, five months after discharge, the patient was hospitalized again because of retroperitoneal and peritoneal multiple metastases. Nine months after surgery, the patient died. This case is likely to aid in furthering our understanding of PHNEC to improve the future diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

Abstract
As one of the leading causes of death, hematologic malignancies are associated with an ever-increasing incidence, and drug resistance and relapse of patients after treatment represent clinical challenges. Therefore, there are pressing demands to uncover biomarkers to indicate the development, progression, and therapeutic targets for hematologic malignancies. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are covalently closed circular-single-stranded RNAs whose biosynthesis is regulated by various factors and is widely-expressed and evolutionarily conserved in many organisms and expressed in a tissue−/cell-specific manner. Recent reports have indicated that circRNAs plays an essential role in the progression of hematological malignancies. However, circRNAs are difficult to detect with low abundance using conventional techniques. We need to learn more information about their features to develop new detection methods. Herein, we sought to retrospect the current knowledge about the characteristics of circRNAs and summarized research on circRNAs in hematological malignancies to explore a potential direction.

Abstract
UNLABELLED In this study, we selected eight cis-elements: AAAG, ACGTG, CCGA, ACTCAT, GGTCA, TATCC, TGAC and GATAA, which are closely related to plant growth and development, signal transduction and stress response. The CEAP primers were 18 nucleotides long and consisted of a central cis-element nucleotide core flanked by a filler sequence at the 5' end and di- or tri-nucleotides at the 3' end. A total of two hundred and twenty-four primers were developed, and the PCR procedure consisted of 5 cycles of low-temperature annealing and 35 subsequent cycles of annealing at 50°C. The PCR products are electrophoretically separated by 1.8-2.3% agarose. The polymorphism of the CEAP marker was amplified in eight mango (Mangifera indica L.) species. The results showed that the CEAP primers could amplify clear, repeatable bands in mango and combine at least four cis-elements from which a large number of bands were amplified and six highly polymorphic primers for each cis-element can reach an accurate clustering result. The results of CEAP marker assays compared with ISSR, CBDP and iPBS marker assays showed that CEAP marker was better than the other three markers in the number of fragment bands, H and I indexes. In addition, we also tested the CEAP markers in rice, tomato, potato, wax gourd, citrus and longan and the results showed that the CEAP marker assay could amplify clear polymorphic bands in different species. Our results indicate that the CEAP markers could be universally used in different species for genetic diversity analysis, relationship analysis, and marker-assisted selection for breeding. Abstract
Osteoarthritis is a worldwide joint disease caused by abnormal chondrocytic metabolism. However, traditional therapeutic methods aimed at anti-inflammation for early-stage disease are palliative. In the present study, we demonstrated that cepharanthine (CEP), extracted from the plant Stephania cepharantha, exerted protective medicinal efficacy on osteoarthritis for the first time. In our in vitro study, CEP suppressed the elevated expression of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 5 (ADAMTS5) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) stimulated by IL-1β or TNF-α by inhibiting the activation of MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways, and upregulated the protein expression of aggrecan, collagen II, and Sox9. Also, CEP could reverse the reduced level of cellular autophagy in IL-1β or TNF-α–induced chondrocytes, indicating that the protective effect of CEP on osteoarthritis was achieved by restoring MAPK/NF-κB-mediated autophagy. Furthermore, in a murine OA model, CEP mitigated cartilage degradation and prevented osteoarthritis in the CEP-treated groups versus the OA group. Hence, our results revealed the therapeutic prospect of CEP for anti-osteoarthritic treatment.

Abstract
Background Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Early diagnosis can significantly lower cancer-related mortality. Studies have shown that the lncRNA Forkhead box P4 antisense RNA 1 (FOXP4-AS1) is aberrantly expressed in various solid tumors. A meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the correlation of FOXP4-AS1 with the prognosis of cancer patients and determine the clinical value of FOXP4-AS1 as a potential diagnostic marker. Methods Correlational studies from the Web of Science, Embase, OVID, Cochrane and PubMed databases were screened (up to April 1, 2021). Meta-analysis was performed using Stata SE12.0 software. Results Eleven original studies with 1,332 patients who were diagnosed with a solid cancer (nasopharyngeal carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, osteosarcoma, mantle cell lymphoma, prostate cancer, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma) were included in the meta-analysis. High expression of FOXP4-AS1 was correlated with poor overall survival (OS) (HR = 1.77, 95% CI 1.29-2.44, P < 0.001) and shorter disease-free survival (DFS) (HR = 1.66, 95% CI 1.01-2.72, P = 0.044). Subgroup analysis based on sample size, follow-up time and Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS) score revealed significant differences between FOXP4-AS1 levels and OS (P < 0.05). However, the expression level of FOXP4-AS1 was not significantly correlated with the OS of gastric cancer patients (P = 0.381). High expression of FOXP4-AS1 was predictive of a larger tumor size (OR = 3.82, 95% CI 2.3-6.3, P < 0.001). Conclusions Overexpression of FOXP4-AS1 correlates with poor prognosis of cancer patients, and is a potential prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target. Abstract
Objective: The investigation and research on the application status of Hepatic Venous Pressure Gradient (HVPG) is very important to understand the real situation and future development of this technology in China. Methods: This study comprehensively investigated the basic situation of HVPG technology in China, including hospital distribution, hospital level, annual number of cases, catheters used, average cost, indications and existing problems. Results: According to the survey, there were 70 hospitals in China carrying out HVPG technology in 2021, distributed in 28 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central Government). A total of 4 398 cases of HVPG were performed in all the surveyed hospitals in 2021, of which 2 291 cases (52.1%) were tested by HVPG alone. The average cost of HVPG detection was (5 617.2±2 079.4) yuan. 96.3% of the teams completed HVPG detection with balloon method, and most of the teams used thrombectomy balloon catheter (80.3%). Conclusion: Through this investigation, the status of domestic clinical application of HVPG has been clarified, and it has been confirmed that many domestic medical institutions have mastered this technology, but it still needs to continue to promote and popularize HVPG technology in the future.

AbstractThis study presents a multi-objective optimization model to solve aircraft landing problem within a predetermined time window. Minimizing total fuel cost, minimizing total delays, maximizing throughput, and maximizing fairness are considered to construct the multi-objective optimization model. According to the different weights of objectives, the first-come-first-serve and simulated annealing are used to solve the multi-objective optimization problem. The algorithms’ feasibility is analysed and a suggestion about how to get satisfactory solutions for all stakeholders is given through the expert evaluation method. The results show that the simulated annealing can get better solution than the first-come-first-serve when the number of flights exceeds 10.

Abstract
Surgical resection remains the best choice for the treatment of liver tumors. Hepatectomy combined with artificial vascular reconstruction has been proven as an alternative to treating tumors involving the main hepatic veins. As the cutting-edge surgical technique, robotic liver surgery is a novel procedure expanding the field of minimally invasive approaches, especially in complex reconstruction. This study reports, for the first time, on a robotic hepatectomy with middle hepatic vein (MHV) reconstruction using an expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) graft for a patient with hepatic adenoma. The tumor, which was located in segment 8, was adjacent to the MHV. Robot-assisted resection of segment 4 and partial segment 8, and MHV reconstruction using a ePTFE graft were performed. During the post-operative examination and follow-up, the blood flow of the ePTFE graft was patent, and liver function recovered well. Thus, robotic hepatectomy with MHV reconstruction is a safe, minimally invasive, and precise surgery that may provide a novel approach for patients with liver tumors that are invading or adjacent to the main hepatic veins.
